How Muli Mujia Is Crossing Art and Design Boundaries at Miami's Global Expo

<h2>Muli Mujia Brings Collaborative "Mondrian Cabinet" to Design Miami Shanghai</h2> On March 8th, Muli Mujia exhibited their collaborative series with the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, a "Mondrian Style Cabinet", at Design Miami/Podium X Shanghai. This was Design Miami's second edition in Asia. Design Miami is a global platform for creative and cultural exchange, showcasing works from both contemporary designers and historically renowned names. The event brought together top art galleries, studios, industry professionals, collectors, and designers from around the world. As one of the most influential art and design exhibitions globally, Muli Mujia crossed boundaries with their works, presenting the philosophy of integrating art into life through tangible designs. For this show, Muli Mujia's theme was "Boundless - Reinterpreting the Natural Beauty of Form", interpreting how art and design can break boundaries. Muli Mujia paid tribute to modernist master Mondrian by creating the "Mondrian Style Cabinet" in collaboration with the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, one of the most comprehensive art institutions in the world. Their collection spans cultures and eras. This Mondrian-inspired island piece took cues from his composition "Blue, Yellow, and Red" in its use of geometric lines and primary colors. It brings together storage and Neoplastic art principles to achieve high color recognition and quality. With a simple, pure aesthetic in line with abstract art's spirit, it creates new perspectives through technology. Features like smart functions and tailored storage satisfy evolving needs while maintaining creativity. At the exhibition, Muli Mujia also shared results from material research collaborations. Exploring color, texture, and form through sound, they expand design language for contemporary living. A highlight was their line with emerging designer Gu Teng. Intended to provoke multiple sensory and intellectual experiences, it explored new possibilities for high-end design. Exhibiting at Design Miami marked an important step in Muli Mujia's artistic journey. It represented both their growing international vision and commitment to artistic excellence in products and spaces. Moving forward, Muli Mujia will continue pushing boundaries between art, design, technology and lifestyle through a spirit of beautiful relationships.

Unlike fast fashion, BODY404 emerging designer brands last longer without exploiting labor or the environment

New York – By spending just 15 percent more, you could end up with a more sustainable world and a higher quality product that lasts longer and doesn’t create mountains of garbage or exploit workers currently occurring in the fast fashion industry.

BODY404 works tirelessly to find high-quality sustainable and socially responsible products. The eCommerce site also looks for emerging designers that have created unique aesthetic brands that reflect its core values.

“We pay close attention to telling their design concepts and painstaking efforts in the production process because we think it’s a respect for both the creators and the fashion industry,” said BODY404 chief branding officer Charles Wang.

Fast fashion brands catering to the Gen Z consumer only look at efficiency with super-fast production. It can create garments within five days at the expense of underpaid workers, produces a lot of environmental waste, and lacks any social responsibility or sustainability.

According to the World Wildlife Federation, the fast fashion industry produces 53 million tons of clothing a year. It could reach 160 million tons by 2050. Chile's Atacama Desert has mountains of waste fast fashion garments because clothing recycling is less than one percent.

Fashion is the world's second most polluting industry, requiring 20,000 liters of water to produce just one kilogram of cotton thread, enough to make one T-shirt and one pair of jeans. Also, more than 8,000 chemicals are used.

These problems all contribute to the global environmental crisis, climate change, and taking advantage of workers. Although the industry has been criticized, little has been done. Consumers are demanding change.

Up to 75 percent of Gen Z according to DoSomething would like to see brands that are ensuring employee and consumer safety. Consumers are also demanding sustainability, and want to know how products are made, and if workers are being treated fairly according to McKinsey.

These are all important issues with BODY404.

“We’re selective with our branding partners. Our partners such as Ufology, Mlen Diary, and Cosmic Speculation all use environmentally friendly materials and pay attention to labor rights, and have clean factories,” said Wang.

Most brands found on BODY404 are exclusive and aren’t available anywhere else. Instead of mass production, these brands are produced on an on-demand basis, so there’s less waste.

An example of an environmentally innovative product line at BODY404 is the Cosmic Speculation Restart Collection Fragrance Diffusers created from recycled kitchen wastes.

It uses recyclable technology to extract reusable components from food residues and kitchen waste to create a delicious-smelling, non-toxic fragrance.

“Another example is the Ufology phone case, which is made from a 100 percent durable biodegradable wheat straw material. It’s guaranteed to protect your phone,” said Wang.

When thrown away, it naturally breaks down in the compost into harmless water and carbon dioxide. Mlen Diary false eyelashes and adhesives is another example of a socially responsible brand carried by BODY404.

All materials are hypoallergenic, skin safe, 100 percent vegan, and cruelty-free. At the same time, Mlen Diary supports financial independence for stay-at-home moms and women living in remote areas in China, who have no access to any other income source.

“Consumers can now be part of the solution. Buying from BODY404 is one step toward building a better environmentally sustainable and socially responsible world,” said Wang.

i think tim should go to college but i also think he should bounce to a new one every semester because things keep happening and he keeps dropping out.

#he starts at gotham university but then the clench comes back and he has to stop attending #then he re-enrolls at the gotham school of engineering but a titans emergency happens and he transfers to a school in sf #and when that cools down and he goes back to gotham he has to go undercover at gotham community college for a case #and then when the case is over he figures he might try gotham school of art & design because he's into photography again #but that gets derailed when another earthquake hits gotham #then gotham gets kicked out of the country again so he tries hudson university #(he does business)#at some point he gives the catholic 'holy mother of god university' in gotham a try #do you see my vision

Updated Emergency Cleaning List!

As thanks for the warm (and, at times, hilarious) welcome back, here's an updated, significantly less wordy version of my Emergency Cleaning list. The original will be a decade old in a few months, if you can believe it!

You may need to modify or adjust the steps on this list based on your own situation — it's meant as a general guideline for those who need a little help pushing past the "Where the hell am I supposed to start?" feeling. This is also not meant to be a comprehensive "How to clean your house properly and maintain it forever" guide. It's for those moments when you have to quickly half-ass it because someone is going to be in your space soon and it's a disaster. If you can close some doors and cut some steps from the list, even better. Definitely do that.
