Pride art I made for @theemuemi during pride month! I guess I never queued it here oops

When Emi posted she was demi I knew I had to do some art. Shadowfreak is demi as well, and I know demis in general don’t get acknowledged a lot so wanted to do something nice for My Bretheren

I had a lotta fun just going wild on this, doing that thing where you greyscale an image and try to match a palette to it. Of course the demi palette has only 4 colors so I had to branch out a bit but I think it turned out nice!! Then I went wild with screen tones and polka dots The character is the front and center character of "Infinity & Beyond". I always read the lyrics as being easily applicable to pride, since it's generally about freedom, so they were the perfect character to pick!!

For those of you who are excited for Season 2 of Sonic and Tails R, or are just general fans of EmuEmi/Emi Jones, please read this post!

A 93 page google doc was recently released (on Twitter, I believe?), and buried inside it was this;

tldr;; Emi is a Sontails shipper, has commissioned artists to draw porn of Sonic and her sonicsona, and said, and I quote, "I just have art with him because I thought people were allowed to do that because it's fun. I don't see sonic as an actual 15 year old."

There was also a segment where Trey Nobles, one of the guys who works on Emi's music, was shown defending Doryan Nelson after he kissed Ceci's forehead while she was asleep (he did not have consent.)

Before anyone gets too pissed off with me for this, I am not saying you can't watch Sonic and Tails R/EmuEmi. All I'm doing is spreading information about her.

Whether or not you continue to support and/or watch Emi's content is up to you. I'm not trying to get you to stop.

I wouldn't want this kept secret from me, so I'm posting about it so others can know.

This is mostly a vent post in light of recent events, but whatever, I need to spread the word.

Sonic is not, and will never be, a valid excuse to treat other people like shit.

For a long time now I've seen a handful of events that progressively disgusted me more and more that range from:

-Fans not knowing boundaries and starting to harass the IDW crew and personally disrespect their persons. This also includes sectors of the fandom openly disrespecting Sonic Team's staff.

-Content creators getting harassed just because of their hot takes regarding Sonic, this includes the likes of EmuEmi.

-My FRIENDS getting bullied, harassed and stalked just because they don't like IDW Sonic and Ian Flynn's work.

-And recently, I just find out Arin Hanson participated in a friendly boxing match for a charity event and apparently there were quite some Sonic fans who took things too far and actually wished for Arin to get seriously hurt just because of his reputation with Sonic, that's not cool at all!

From my perspective this fandom has been at its absolute worst lately and I had enough, this has to stop. Sonic is going through a much needed renaissance and the last thing we need is this fandom's iconic toxic behavior coming back at full force, we should promote a more healthy community, not this massive bullshit.

You don't like someone's work on Sonic? That's fine, you can critisize it, you can be harsh if you want, but you should always direct the vitriol towards the work, not the author.

You don't like someone's take on Sonic? You can always debate about it and if you can't change their mind, you can simply agree to disagree and ignore them. Debating about Sonic is never an excuse to harass someone, even if their attitude is not nice you should strive to be the better person and not go to the same low as them.

So, to finally get this out of my chest, I'll just repeat what I said earlier for the sake of spreading the word.

Sonic and Tails R Season 1 is 🔥 🔥 🔥

This review was inspired by darkqueenofshadows85's, if you haven't seen her stuff, go check them out!

The plot seems like a fairly standard Chaos Emerald hunt, but it's the story of Tails development told within said plot that really elevates it. The characterization is absolutely stellar too - Tails actually develops and is characterized properly! A major problem with Tails after SA2 is that they never really knew how to develop him from there, and it was really apparent in the 2010s where he basically just sprouted exposition or fixed something (which should only be a PART of his character, not his entire personality), reaching its lowest point in Lost World (where he was really whiny) and Forces (which reduced him to a wuss - Unleashed had him cower too, which I already didn't like, but this was way worse). Even before the 2010s era started, it felt like he had gotten the shaft, both in screen time and characterization. SaTR, on the other hand, remedies these problems without tying him to Sonic in any way. Sonic is well characterized, too, he strikes a perfect balance between serious and wise cracking, not leaning too hard into either one. Eggman was awesome, he keeps his humorous traits without being portrayed as a total doofus and can actually be taken seriously, the crew did a good job balancing evil and humor. The other characters appear only briefly, but they're utilized pretty well for the most part (except maybe Amy).

The voice work, the whole selling point of this radio drama, was great! Ryan Drummond reprised his role as the main character, and while you can tell its been a long since since he last voiced him, he's no less good! EmuEmi as Tails grew into the role, I had my doubts early on but she's good in her own right. Mike Pollock is good as usual, but he gets better material than he has in years and that truly allows him to shine. Jason Griffith did not age at all as Shadow, it's like he never stopped voicing him! Another good performance! The other voice actors are pretty good too, David Humphrey as Knuckles was an odd choice that took some getting used to, but it works decently.

I'm a different anyone but I have a very similar story where I had, truthfully, been about ready to give up on one of my favorite franchises until the movies came out. The live action movies were what kept me interested, along with fanworks like EmuEmi's Sonic and Tails R and the various fansongs and covers that would come out from various artists. What REALLY got me back into Sonic and reignited my passion was definitely Frontiers tho

For the GTA Online video

Looks really cool that my P-Pal just got the Alien costume. And it be really cool for Shadow and Spot to wear together and see if they can scare the Frosty Star Crew, but then it would fail cause then the Astroblast crew would offer them a Smoothie instead. But with the Bigfoot costume however might work. Cause I have seen a bunch of Cartoons that talked about Bigfoot. I only remember it in the Simpsons, I remember it happened in Mr. Pickles. I bet Shadow and Spot might try out the Bigfoot costumes as well. Maybe Lisa and Vanilla would be surprised to see them dress like that. Even if Lisa and Vanilla had to dress up like a Deer and eat some pie together. Hey maybe Maxwell can dress up as Bigfoot as well. Except Emme since I know she is a deer after all. But she can still make Maxwell some pie.

For the On this Day Too Much Question Drawing

It's nice to have Chowder and Flapjack talk to Pocoyo about how he's adding new things to his show. Which's nice in Modern Pocoyo, they add like new characters and new activities and other stuff he's gonna do. Plus this whole pic reminds me of the time I was on my Discord a few days ago and got to be at the Sonic Revolution Meet and Greet event where I got to talk with some of the professional Voice actors or actresses and even some YouTubers. Normally I haven't got picked a couple of times, but I have once when I spoke with Emuemi and Trey when I spoke to them about their content and how they brought some classic voice actors from past Sonic games. And it was amazing I got to talk with her and Trey on Discord. And I hope next year I bet I can enjoy going to the Revolutions and conventions anytime I get the chance. And maybe this convention and Discord events might give me an idea. If I ever want to draw Shadow, Lisa, Spot, Riya, Vanilla, Maxwell and Emme went to a convention. Which that can be really cool. 😁
