Nota: Aqui a gente transforma as ideias aleatórias em realidade, porque sim ashuashasuhuas eu já fui bem organizada por aqui mas agora é tipo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Enfim, a série do Loki me deu uma boa desculpa pra trazer um “irmão” melhor pra Lorraine, porque ela merece, e como eu amei a Sylvie, resolvi aproveitar. Então, apresento a vocês o Sloan, uma variante da Lorrie. Quem já viu a série, sabe como funciona. Os dois são a mesma pessoa, mas como mostrado na série, com suas próprias personalidades, backgrounds habilidades. Também quis colocar ele aqui porque adoro a Lorraine e acho que vai ajudar a desenvolver algumas coisas com ela :)

Aliás, já nesse post tem uma coisa que eu queria ter abordado antes sobre a Lorraine ( e o Luthor ), mas até agora tava deixando pra depois. Seu nome verdadeiro é Narfi, e por isso o Sloan também se chama Narfi, embora os dois tenham adotado outros nomes e ninguém além deles mesmos conheça o original.

E por fim, preciso avisar que o Sloan não é filho de dois Lokis ashuashauh ele é filho da Sylvie ( que é uma Loki ) e da contraparte da Encantor do mundo dele.

When she opened the door, she wished she’d left it closed, but her mother had always said ‘Once a door was opened, it couldn’t be closed.’ It was a ridiculous statement, because of course doors could be closed. They had hinges, and could swing either way. That was their very function. When she tried to explain this aspect to her mother, the woman would hear none of it, and conclude with ‘You will understand when you’re older.” It was a statement she’d heard dozens of times before as well, more than the one about the door, but she’d gotten older and understanding had still evaded her.

Until now, of course.

She’d, in fact, tried to close the door, but Dina’s foot was already extending into the door jamb, and breaking her toes seemed rude. But just barely.

“What do you want?”

Dina cocked her head, in that way of hers, raising an eyebrow in mock offense. “Val, I haven’t seen you in almost three years, and that’s how you greet me? No hug for an old friend?”

She held out her arms and Valerie turned and walked back into the house. She took a few steps into the kitchen, and put a kettle on.

“I will make two cups of tea, you have the time it takes for those to brew, and for me to finish mine, then you need to leave.”

Valerie’s voice was clipped and serious, the regret of not actually crushing Dina’s foot and certainly stemming off what was to be a painful, inconvenient experience for herself washed over her again and again. She felt like she was on a beach, and getting knocked down over and over by incoming waves. Seeing Dina always left her off balance.

“Thank you for the tea, then.” Dina made her way in, closing the door behind her. She moved with such surety and arrogance, that Valerie wanted to yell at her, even though she’d yet to do something explicitly wrong. She’d always been like that. She’d walk into the room like she owned it, and most of the time, you’d believe anything she was selling. But that was before Valerie knew better. Valerie sat down at the table with a thump.

“You look good.” Dina continued. “Healthy, I mean, strong. It’s a good thing that you got out of the game. I remember some days you wouldn’t even have the strength after an appointment-”

“You didn’t come to reminisce, Dina Le Fay. You came to ask me for something. So, get on with it, so I can figure out the best way to refuse you.”

“So like an Encantor to be so cold.”

“And so like a Witch to speak so much and say so little.”

They stared at each other for a moment, neither making a move, staring in stony silence, when suddenly, Dina’s face broke into a smile, and she sat down across from Valerie, her hands half reaching across the table.

“You look good. So good, Val. I’ve missed you.”

Valerie raised an eyebrow. “You look like you want to kiss me.”

“Am I that obvious?”

“If you do, they will never find the body.”

A beat.

Dina sat back, the smile never faltering. “You never used to mind. I remember you even contributed a few of your own.”

“That was before you let me die.”

The smile slipped, but Dina reapplied it easily.

“That wasn’t personal.”

“It never is with you.”

The kettle began to whistle and Valerie walked to the stove.
