Mizu’s relationship with their gender is very very complicated and we MUST acknowledge that.

No one should have to justify why they think Mizu is one thing or the other, because Mizu’s past, their environment (how it treats women) and their negative associations with being a woman, can easily make a case for Mizu wanting to be a woman, or for Mizu preferring to be a guy. If I see ANY of you get mad at people for thinking Mizu is either a strictly a man or strictly a woman, or something out of the binary, I am going to GET you.

Any HC to do with Mizu’s gender has narrative merit and importance to Mizu’s character, and one does not make Mizu less complex than the other. One does not make less sense than the other. One does not MEAN less than the other. And even if it’s not about the narrative significance of them being trans or cis, and it’s more about how you think the character is coded, or even just their vibes, that’s fine too. A HC doesn’t need a justification.

One: Dating apps? Dang it, tumblr! After the relationships I’ve had, I’m FINE being single for a while. Unless, of course, I either get my meet-cute with Joseph Quinn (highly unlikely) or I get the courage to actually confess to my crush (almost equally unlikely). I’m okay being single, but I don’t need so many reminders.

Two: Getting both mlm and wlw ads makes me think the ad algorithm doesn’t know what to make of my gender/sexuality. Which is honestly a dream of mine.

enigma system genders are genders related to being an enigma of [x]/an [x] enigma. they are connected to [x], [x] aesthetics, enigma aesthetics, mysterious/incomprehensible/unexplainable aesthetics, and hazehood/leerhood. these terms should be named as ‘eni[x]’ or ‘[x]igma’ - for example, a kitten enigma system gender might be called 'enikitten' or 'kittenigma'.

haze and leer are terms for obscurian people, with haze generally being for younger people and leer for older people, and the top three stripes of the flag are from the obscurian flag!
