they literally defeated william afton with the power of all their autism combined (abby mike and vanessa are all autistic) (as are the children) (willy boy is autistic too but his autism wasnt strong enough)

having a moment again about the way the wolf 359 live show is staged: hera stands apart from the others, and only eiffel ever crosses over to her. eiffel regularly looks over at her while he’s speaking to her, something the rest of the crew doesn’t do, and something i’m considering as close to canon confirmation as possible for the idea that eiffel makes eye contact with hera’s cameras (while everyone else just sort of talks upwards.)

crumbs of a story im writing
clumsy rookie news photographer chasing after a gentleman thief to start an advice column ^_^
the thiefs legit job as a librarian doesnt pay enough to cover his rent (not enough public funding?), so he steals from rich politicians.
he kind of sees it as "hitting two birds with one stone," since the politicans are more interested in infrastructure than public funding anyway, and they have more than enough money so he doesn't feel bad doing it
since its done out of necessity, the thief is extremely meticulous and plans out his thefts. but hes also a theatre kid, so he makes a costume and more or less garners the attention of the community
the rookie is a newspaper photographer who has been following the thief for some time and has grown to admire him
the newspaper he works for is community oriented (organizing events and programs, advocating for the public) and believes the thief shares similar values
basically he proposes to start an advice column with the thief to build a rapport with the community, with the goal of winning over the public
the thief is hesitant because he's really only doing it for himself and doesnt want to get anyone else involved, but the rookie tells him to think of it as a way of helping everyone
the rest is kinda fuzzy.. i wanted to touch on community effort and public interests. I don't know if this will be the kind of story that encourages people to take action, I don't see myself as being any kind of model citizen. for now I'm just focused on pouring all my thoughts and faith in humanity into a story setting

I think it was meaningful that the black parade night was largely focused on the B-side songs (kill all your friends, all the angels, heaven help us) or songs that sound very different from the rest of tbp in terms of pacing and can get left out of the conversations surrounding it (i don’t love you).
so much of the media hype and general following of tbp was ultimately contrary to the band’s vision and desires: the tour was grueling, the record’s meaning was largely lost, and they barely survived it. by focusing on the songs that didn’t make it onto tbp, it’s almost like they’re elaborating on the story they originally told - giving us another attempt to understand and interpret it’s meaning.

I could see Jacobi and Eiffel in a movie where they’re screw up rival detectives who are about to get fired by their superiors (Minkowski and Lovelace) unless they learn to work together to solve their next case.

The Ink Demonth 2023 - Day 27. Pit
Day 27. Pit
Crossover: Centaurworld
If I were Bendy, I'd be screaming too - Comfortable Doug is the scariest character in Centaurworld, including the Nowhere King... Especially in season two as Flat Dallas... uh!
I love Centaurworld. And I must say that I really had a fantastic time making this picture - of which, of course, the main part which I gave the most time (and this is not a joke) is the amazing flora of this world. However, the shading in the serial is strange, so I didn't stick to it strictly - but these pastel colours and their combinations... I needed something like that, pleasing to the eye in my current state.
If anyone doesn't know the series, I highly recommend it. It's great. Although the second season was a bit worse (there are a few things that irritate me, e.g. the unnecessarily prolonged death scene of one of the characters), it is still great. And, ah, I'm counting on some spin-offs in this universum. If anyone has watched Centaurworld, please read my thoughts on the plot and its meaning. I'm proud of them.

Its Sad Theory Time
I’m thinking about Captain Lovelace. Thinking about all the crew members she lost. Thinking about how much she blames herself for their death. Thinking about how severe the survivor’s guilt most be.
And now I’m thinking about her ‘death’ during the mutiny. I’m thinking about how, when Kepler was deciding which one of them to kill, she spoke up right before the end of his ‘Eeny, meeny miny, moe’ bit was over. That timing…I believe it’s significant. Let me explain
Because it’s a podcast, we can never really know who he was going to pick. But Lovelace and Eiffel were there. They would know. And I would bet you, Kepler was going to pick Eiffel. Lovelace realized it, at the end there.
So she speaks up. She tells Kepler to fuck off. She spits in his face and says she pities him and, in Doug’s words, she does everything to poke the bear. And it works. Kepler shoots her.
Now, this could be interpreted several other ways. Maybe Kepler was going to pick Lovelace and she realized that, so instead of just letting it happen, she brought it on herself. She took her last stand, robbing him of the satisfaction he would’ve got from killing her. And I think that’s very plausible.
But what if…
Im thinking about Captain Lovelace, still carrying that survivors guilt. I’m thinking about Captain Lovelace realizing that she’s about to lose another one of her crew members. I’m thinking about her deciding that she will not, cannot, let another one of her friends die, how she cannot be the sole survivor again.
So she pokes the bear. She does everything she can to divert Kepler’s attention away from Eiffel and onto her. She metaphorically throws herself in front of the bullet meant for him. That was a meditated, conscious decision.
Right before she dies, Lovelace tells Eiffel that she had to do this. She had to save him, because she failed to save so many others. Maybe Captain Lovelace really just couldn’t hold her tongue. But I think it’s a lot more plausible that the Captain knew exactly what she was doing.

trying to get good health advice when you stand at work is some pagliacci shit
'doctor my feet and back hurt all the time, what should I do?'
'You need to get more exercise! That will solve everything!'
'but doctor, I already take 12,000 steps a day :('

i'm still very attached to the idea that hera allots just slightly more of her processing power to monitoring eiffel than anyone else. "i've been keeping track of your vital signs and biological readings since commander minkowski brought you on board" as an expression of care, especially with how often eiffel is in danger, or sick, or missing, or... when hera is the first person to notice he's back in sécurité and even then doesn't quite believe what she's observing... that if eiffel asking hera "are you there?" - even knowing that she always is - is a bid for connection and reassurance, then the way hera keeps track of the people she cares about is how she tries to bridge that gap from her side, especially at times when otherwise she feels powerless to reach out and help.

I would love to see Tina and Joyce talk about the fact that Doug wants to marry Tina. Joyce and Doug have actually become somewhat close and they occasionally talk about things, but Tina's not very close with anyone other than Doug this season, and she needs to talk to a third party about this.
Bambi and Richie pointed out how Tina's always saying no to doing things with them lately, but because Joyce already knows Doug wants to marry Tina, and Tina found the ring, it's the perfect set up for Joyce and Tina to talk about her feelings. Plus, Joyce's lack of filter could actually help get Tina out of her shell and get her talking.

okay, okay, i know i already asked snot bunny this, but i must ask for your headcanons
would doug like goth girls?
Lol Scotty and I have a lot of same brain when it comes to Doug
I think he would! But he'd likely have a lot of misconceptions about goths that he'd need explained/corrected. (I've met people who thought goths were all satanic baby killers. Because that's what they were told and didn't actually know any.)
