word count | 1.6k
pairing | seventeen x gn!reader
genre | fluff, streamer au
note | i’m not a gamer by any means so there’s a lot of gaming terminology/games that idk, so most of the games mentioned here i looked up online 💔 also tyty to my lovely nny @joshuas @seungcy for helping me w some of these <3
warning(s) / includes | mild swearing, food mentions
Tumblr media
⋆͛♡⋆͛ seungcheol
definitely a gamer. gets really, really competitive and probably lets a few muttered curses slip when he loses, before realising he’s streaming live and turns to the camera with an innocent smile, like “if you’re a child please pretend you never heard anything ☺️”. no one’s really complaining though because he’s attractive when he’s frustrated, especially whenever his jaw clenches and he rolls up his sleeves before starting over. his viewers always know when you’re around because he always has the most lovesick smile as he looks off-camera and mouths something to you, usually a “hi, baby” or asking if you want to come say hi to everyone. he’s literally soooo boyfie and his viewers always joke about wanting to steal him from you…that is, until you started appearing more in his streams and now they want to steal you, which makes him so pouty.
⋆͛♡⋆͛ jeonghan
mostly games during his streams and yells when he loses or dies unexpectedly, his viewers don’t really mind because his yells sound really cute. sometimes he’ll join public servers and when he comes across snobby, entitled kids he makes it a very personal mission to humble them. “hannie, did you just make another twelve-year-old rage quit?” “mm…maybe…” prefers to keep your identity private, but during some particularly stressful games he’ll ask for cuddles and his viewers can see him wrapping his arms around your torso, squishing his cheek against you with a pout on his face while he whines about how hard the game is. a menace (affectionate), will have asmr streams just so he can suddenly scream and scare the shit out of everyone, no one knows why they still fall for it.
⋆͛♡⋆͛ joshua
the softest, most wholesome streamer. everyone wants him and wants to be him. streams a wide variety of content from baking and cooking to jamming sessions where he plays his guitar and covers different songs. regardless, his streams always look really aesthetically pleasing, especially during his jamming sessions when he changes his colour-changing light to blue or purple for the ~vibes~. everyone loves his voice because it’s so dreamy and melodic, so despite him involving sunday morning in every. single. stream. no one tells him to stop. talks about you all the time and it’s just so painfully obvious how in love he is because everything reminds him of you. “i’m making ___ for dinner because it’s their favourite”, “i saw a really cute cat today and it looked so much like them”, “i wonder when they’ll be home, they’ve been gone for a while”. (it’s only been half an hour…)
⋆͛♡⋆͛ jun
another gamer! usually pretty quiet when he’s gaming except when he lets out loud groans or yells after losing, think jeonghan’s asmr from hell except in jun’s case the sudden sounds are unintentional 😭 when he gets especially heated he starts rambling or swearing in mandarin and it’s so fast that barely anyone can catch what he’s saying. takes a break from gaming by streaming more chill content, like answering his viewers’ questions while inviting you to take the most absurd buzzfeed quizzes with him like “which unpopular pizza topping matches your personality”. makes your stomach hurt from laughing every time because he gets oddly (yet endearingly) defensive about the results since they’re never accurate. (“what the fuck is ‘anchovy’ supposed to mean???”)
⋆͛♡⋆͛ soonyoung
tried to play the more intense games like league of legends, call of duty and five nights at freddy’s before realising they’re not really his thing, so now he streams himself playing animal crossing and it’s soooo wholesome. his house is tiger-themed from the wallpaper to the flooring to the decor, and his viewers are 120% supportive of his mission to collect all the tiger villagers for his island for max horangi power 🐯✊ sometimes you’ll play too and it’ll consist of at least ten minutes of you two chasing and whacking each other with your nets while giggling manically. he also started occasionally streaming him dancing or creating new choreographies and his duality always shocks those who are new to his channel.
⋆͛♡⋆͛ wonwoo
the Ultimate™ gamer bf, you can’t change my mind—he was made for this au. sometimes he’s so focused on the game that he forgets he’s streaming and all you hear is the sound of furious typing, but he makes up for it by looking cute in the cat-ear headphones that you got him. you didn’t expect him to wear them while streaming, but ever since you gifted him those headphones he has never gone back to his previous ones. he later bought you the same cat-ear headphones but in a different colour so you could match <3 gives really good advice when he’s chatting to his viewers in between games and they love how soft-spoken and wise he is.
⋆͛♡⋆͛ jihoon
most of his streams are him pulling all-nighters in his studio working on music, even if he’s not particularly chatty in those times he still really appreciates having his viewers’ company because it can sometimes get lonely being cooped up inside :( but ever since he started dating you, you make frequent appearances on his streams to chat with his viewers while holding his hand as he works <3 if he’s feeling cheeky he’ll tease his soon-to-be-released song (everyone went crazy over “shit, this is red too”). somehow became friends with soonyoung which treated his viewers to interesting autotuned raps about being a tiger……rawr.
⋆͛♡⋆͛ seokmin
has the voice of an angel, so he blesses us mortal folk by streaming his heavenly song covers. brings his friends (cough, joshua, cough) to sing duets with him whenever possible. the sweetest boy on the platform and does his best to respond to every live comment even though they whizz by so quickly </3 it’s impossible to feel sad when you’re watching his streams, every bit of him radiates positive energy. occasionally does more lifestyle-esque streams, usually of you two running errands together. one time you two rated all the dogs you came across on the street from 1-10. (spoiler: every dog got 11)
⋆͛♡⋆͛ mingyu
the malewife of the platform who games occasionally. his viewers think it’s both hilarious and adorable when a beefy, six-foot man curls up into a tiny ball while playing horror games. (playfully) flirts with his viewers and gives the camera seductive glances, but panics when it leads to a sudden influx of tips and begs people to stop giving him money 😭 constantly demands cuddles and kisses when he loses a game. his viewers love watching his cooking streams where he tests out new recipes because it’s really just him doing 90% of the work but still acting like you won masterchef for cutting one (1) onion. never gets annoyed when you sneak bites of food in between preparations, he thinks you’re cute <3
⋆͛♡⋆͛ minghao
think modern bob ross where he invites his viewers to grab a snack and relax as he paints whatever inspires him in the moment. everyone is begging for a closet tour at this point because he’s never worn a bad outfit from the day he started his channel. asmr not from hell: also does streams where he makes paint from scratch because the sounds of him grinding pigments or his palette knife gently scraping against the glass are very soothing. occasionally he’ll invite you to do cute couple challenges with him, like following a bob ross video but with audio only which always ends in a fit of contagious giggles during the moment of truth.
⋆͛♡⋆͛ seungkwan
such a sweet person :( is here to have a good time, so he’s pretty active and loves doing chatty streams where he plays trivia games with his viewers. keeps up with the gossip especially if you’re a long-time viewer, will absolutely ask you for updates on your pet goldfish stacy. did you buy her a bigger tank like you said you would last time? regularly streams with vernon where they play games like quiplash, questions their friendship and his life every time vernon comes up with a cursed answer. his viewers love whenever you join him while he’s watching true crime documentaries, there’s just something so endearing about you two stuffing your faces with snacks while complaining about how incompetent the authorities responsible for those unsolved cases were.
⋆͛♡⋆͛ vernon
unbothered king, here for the vibes. @/seungcy says he’s the type to play valorant and stare into the camera like 😳 when he wins. has really good taste in music and graphic tees, probably has tons of vinyl records lying in the back or hanging on the walls. makes seungkwan heavily question their friendship with his quiplash answers. started weekly movie watches because he’ll take any excuse to rewatch the shrek movies. the two of you are also on a mission to rank the barbie movies though you always get distracted by the songs and end up belting them at the top of your lungs. it’s okay, his viewers forget about your rankings too because you look so cute resting your head on his shoulder with his hand on your knee <3 (island princess has yet to be dethroned)
⋆͛♡⋆͛ chan
kinda sucks at games (affectionate) but he makes up for it with determination and perseverance, and his viewers let it slide because he’s cute. asks for game recommendations and regrets it every time because people won’t stop making him play the spooky ones. is terrified and flinches at the tiniest noises but will vehemently deny it. no one is allowed to bring up the time he screamed when you barged into the room asking him what type of pizza to order. also likes watching romance movies/shows while you’re wearing your matching hoodies and cuddling. if you see him crying at the sad parts just move along and don’t point it out <3 he’s cute ig.
Tumblr media

Different Kind of Heat

Kinktober Day 4: A/B/O
A/N: next part of my kinktober. As you know I'm a big fan of omegaverse so and I do like Idia quite a bit. It was nice to write him a little unhinged.
Tumblr media
The first few hours of your heat has been manageable. The school staff gave you your own room in a special part of the school dorm, specifically for omega's who go into heat. The school can't afford to have a bunch of students popping out babies. That is why even when there was mating, because the staff weren't idiots and knew that their students would seek each other out, they at least wanted those involved to be safe.
You had everything you could need. Enough food and water in the fridge to last you a week, clean clothes in the closet, the softest bed you've slept on in a while, and a variety of toys that you could use to make your heat easier if your fingers weren't enough.
As much as you appreciated all of that none of it was enough. You plunged you fingers deep into your heated cunt, trying to find some, or any form of relief in your current horny state.
The ring of your phone startled you, but not enough to stop pleasuring yourself, especially when you saw that it was Idia who was calling you. He's always very considerate, even offered to spend your heat with you when he found out it was approaching. But you didn't want him to miss out on classes just for that. He told you the same when he was in rut and you respected that.
You did want him here. You wanted him more than anything. His warm body against yours, his fangs on your neck, his hands all over you, exploring, touching, his tongue and mouth licking between your folds right before he gives you his cock and knots you.
"Darling, can you hear me?" His voice was gruff, a little more strained than usual, almost like he just got over a cold and had a sore throat. You liked how he sounded.
"Mhmm. Sorry, I- It's... starting to get real bad." The sound of his voice, his thoughtful hum right next to your ear only made you reach for a nearby blue dildo and push it in, your pussy taking it all too easily.
"It sounds like it. I only wanted to check up on you. How's my dove doing? Do you need anything?" It was so sweet how thoughtful and concerned he was.
"Your cock." You were way past any need for decency, " Idia I need you to come here and fill me up with your seed." Idia's growl came in through the phone, sending shivers down your spine and into your cunt as you doubled the pace not caring if your moans got too loud.
"Keep talking. Just keep talking love, what else? How do you want me? What do you want me to do to you if I was there? What does my omega want?"
"I want you to claim me. Bite me. Mark my cunt with your cum. Give me every last drop. Mount me and breed me. Make my cunt beg for your cock. Fuck! Idia, please." You throw your head back, dropping the phone and clenching the pillow next to your head as your orgasm crashes over you.
You hear Idia's voice still talking but your heat ridden brain doesn't catch any of it, the sound fading into white noise as you try to catch your breath.
"Go open the door." Those are the words that you recognize clearly first. It gives you pause.
"Huh? The... door?" With a groan you slide the dildo out, letting the slick length fall next to the bed as you raise yourself on your elbows and look at the locked door. You're still dizzy as you move on wobbly legs and slowly unlock your room door.
The scent hits you as soon as it cracks open just a little. Like sulfur and cotton candy, and little bit of smoke. Unmistakably Idia. Unmistakably your mate.
"Surprise love." Idia smirks while still holding the phone as he pushes into the room, his scent wrapping around you, making your brain overload with lust. You almost drop on your knees right there and then, "I know it's not really the protocol but I've spoken to the Headmaster already. The way I see it, if I help you then your heat will be over quicker, and you can go back to class. So let me help my girl out yeah?" His cock was already staring against the zipper as he took off his jacket, quickly followed by the rest of his clothes.
Before he could set his clothes to the side you grabbed his jacket and took a big breath of his scent, "Next time leave this one with me."
Idia smiled and cocked his head to the side, sending comforting pheromones your way, "It's my favorite. But I suppose I wouldn't mind it smelling like you." He would smell like you. He'd be wearing your scent. All the time.
Now you did actually drop to your knees, right in front of his throbbing cock and closed your mouth and hand around it without even a second thought.
"On your knees for me already?" Idia patted the top of your head as you sucked him off, needy and sloppy and wonton, moaning every time your lips touched his swelling knot. "Make sure to get me ready for you."
Oh you will, his cock was already slippery and wet from your spit, making it very easy for you to pump your hand across his throbbing shaft. Idia's hips jerked every so often, a breathless moan falling from his lips as you focused your attention on the red tip of his cock, tapping it with your tongue before closing your mouth around it again.
"Stop." You could tell that the command was as painful for him as it was for you. You pulled away with a needy whine, your eyes cloudy and lips stained with bits of his pre-cum. "Don't worry." He smoothed his hand into your hair, "I just want to come inside of you. Is that alright?"
Your eyebrows shot up at his words, you didn't expect him to be quite so forward. Then again he was currently in the presence of an omega in heat. An omega that wore his mating mark. You tilted your head and watched his mouth drop open a his eyes narrowed in on the base of your neck. "More than alright."
You scrambled towards the bed, your back falling against the soft pillows as you let your legs fall open, giving Idia a full view of your wet pussy, "I see you're ready for me too." He smiled as he stroked his cock, "Condoms?"
Shaking your head you parted your folds with two fingers, "I'm on the pill. I want to feel you. All of you. Every inch."
You watched Idia's eyes darken, his hair flaring up at the tips as he knelt above you and pressed the tip of his cock against your entrance. He felt so hot. He always ran hot, but this a different kind flame. The kind that threatened to consume you whole. And you'd gladly let it.
He sank in slowly, groaning while being enveloped into your soft heat, "Gods above and below. You're sopping wet darling. I think you might even be able to take my knot on first try." You nod your head eagerly, your hands settling in his shoulders for leverage, "Yeah? Does my omega want to be knotted that bad? I saw that dildo at the foot of the bed you know. It's pretty big. You were getting yourself ready weren't you? Ready for my cock. My knot."
"I was thinking about you." You confess as you breathe his scent in, "I just wanted you here with me. No one else Idia. Only you. Only my alpha."
"I like the sound of that. I'd gladly call myself yours. And after this, after tonight you can wear my mark on full display. I don't care what anyone says. I want them to know who you belong to. I want them to know whose cunt this is." He snaps his hips forward, sinking into you all the way to his knot, "Open up for me baby, take my knot."
His blunt nails scratch your thighs, his mouth snapping as he growls and keeps pushing forward, intent on getting his knot in.
"Whose are you hm? Whose pussy is this? Say it." His mouth closes and sucks on your mating mark. You come again, all over his dick, finally letting his knot slide into you with a loud, satisfying pop.
"Yours. It's all yours alpha. All yours to fuck and use and breed however many times you want." You drag your nails across his back as you sink your teeth into his neck, renewing the mark you previously made. "Prove I'm yours. Mark me with your cum."
Idia throws his head back, his hair now in full flames, teeth clenched so hard you're worried he's about to break them, "Mine. My cunt. My girl. My omega. Mine, mine, all mine!" He chants like a prayer, thrusting one final time before giving you his warm load.
Your eyes roll into the back of your head, your brain barely registering the sharp pain of Idia's teeth sinking into your neck.
As the aftershocks started to subside you ran your hands over Idia's shoulders, your eyes clear enough to see the renewed mark on his neck, filling you with a sense of pride and love. "Thank you. I needed this."
"What are you thanking me for?" He kissed your mating mark, then your shoulder just as gently as he whispered against your skin, "I'm your mate. I'll always be here for you when you need me. Even if it means failing a test or two."
"E-Excuse me? Failing what?" Your heat wasn't gone but your head was now clear enough for you to be at least a little bit mad at him, "Idia!"
He laughed, "It's alright." He nuzzled his nose against your throat, pressing his chest against your soft breasts, settling on top of you, "Because you're my best study buddy. Which is yet another reason why it'll be good for me to help you with this heat."
You rolled your eyes, a smile on the corner of your mouth, "You're very lucky you're both cute and extremely lovable. Otherwise I don't think I'd put up this."
"Oh?" He quirked a brow at you, "Are you sure that's all you like about me my darling?" He rolled his hips forward, his cock dragging against the front of your wall, right over your most sensitive spot. You barely swallowed down a helpless moan, much to Idia's delight, "I knew it."
"You're awful." You smile against his cheek as you give him a quick peck before wrapping your hands around his neck and bringing him closer, tucking him next to your head. You're still tied by the knot so it'll be a while before either of you can go again. You're fine with that. You have Idia here, his love, his comfort, his warmth both in and out. That's all you need, all you'll ever need.

How would Vash and Wolfwood (separate) help and accommodate a partner who has a restrictive diet and can't eat a variety of certain foods? btw ur doing amazing so far keep it up.
A/N: Thank you so much, Anon! That's very sweet of you! I hope this is along the lines of what you were hoping for!
Tumblr media
Vash the Stampede
Vash would be the type of partner who would try to make it easier for you at any cost
Literally, ANY cost
Man would 110% follow the diet you have to follow because he can only imagine how difficult it is for you to watch other people eating foods you can't have and how sucky it can be sometimes :(
So, Vash would be the kind of partner who would follow your diet with you to a T (as much as he is able to and with as much strictness as you do)
He would also be supportive of you on the days where you find yourself missing specific foods, trying his best to offer you comfort and support however you need it in the moment
"Just let me know what I can do to make this easier for you, love! I'm here for you, I promise. What you're doing is hard but you're doing so well, I'm so proud of you!"
Would definitely try to find new recipes for you
Absolutely gets involved in making the restrictions feel less like restrictions and tries to bring variety in as much as possible
Overall, extremely supportive and tries to put himself in the same situation as what you're going through so he can be understanding and so that he can support you and make it easier for you however he can!
Tumblr media
Nicholas D. Wolfwood
Wolfwood takes a different approach - he's not entirely sure why you have to be so restrictive, but he'll be damned if he doesn't try to at least make your situation easier for you
He more so tries to keep other people in check and ensure they don't accidentally rub things they can eat and their options in your face and make you feel bad about what you need to do with respect to your food
He tries to be supportive although sometimes he comes across a little too hardcore about it, especially towards others
You definitely need to keep Nicholas in check so he doesn't tear other people to shreds in trying to make your restrictive diet easier
"Nick, I get that you're trying to be helpful but you don't need to threaten people with bullets every time they eat something I can't have in front of me."
"No, (Y/N), they're being rude and I'm gonna keep em in check, can't have you feeling bad about this all because of other idiots."
"Nick, please."
Overall, he's trying very hard to be supportive of you, and the best way he shows it is by ensuring he keeps others in check, sometimes even a little too much, but it's entirely from a good place, I promise
He just really wants to you to have things be as easy as possible.

Okay I’m gonna rant on here for a sec cause I’m frustrated and have nowhere to put it.
I don’t know if you guys know what the term “ingredient household” means but essentially it’s a term that describes a house that doesn’t really do a lot of snack and meals that are pre-made or, in my case, even pre-planned.
Adding on to this concept, I’m sure many of us on here heard our parents claim we “had food at home” or “had plenty of food in the house” and we were “just picky and/or lazy” whenever we asked about getting food out or buying groceries or anything similar.
This was my house. We were mostly an ingredient household but my parents didn’t plan out the meals for which they were buying ingredients, my mom would just buy the same generic groceries every time with very little variety and would improvise throughout the week. This meant we ate a lot of the same food made in slightly different ways all the time (which is not, in itself, the problem). It also meant that when I got home from school and both my parents were at work, not to return home for at least a few hours each (often well after dinner time) I was usually hungry and we had no snacks unless I wanted to shove handfuls of chocolate chips in my mouth or eat spoonfuls of peanut butter (both things I used to do). This paired with the fact that my parents needed time to settle in and my family didn’t tend to eat dinner until pretty late, meant I was often told to find food myself if I was hungry.
My mom did this to us a lot growing up, but starting from a pretty early age when even making a sandwich was kind of a lot. I always wished she’d have taught me how to make at least a few small things, because when I was told that we had food and it was all just ingredients I genuinely didn’t have any clue what to do. I have been seeing a lot of parents on social media complaining about the “we have no food” line that their children pull, and it’s starting to really bother me. Obviously I know this is not the same situation for all of these kids but I think children in general tend to be pretty resourceful and creative, and do not want to sit there hungry unable to do anything about it. They aren’t just acting helpless so their parents do things for them, they are literally children, they’re supposed to be more helpless than an adult in that regard.
I think a lot of parents (especially gen x parents) seem to assume that just because something seemed simple to them their children should already know instinctively how to do it, but everyone has to learn their skills somewhere and making that process a little easier on your children is such a great way to show them how much you love them. Involving the kids in the process of making dinner little by little and encouraging them to learn is much more effective than just one day expecting them to know how to take care of themselves. If you don’t want to spend all that time making food for your children (which, by the way, is literally what you sign on for when you choose to have kids), then at least take a bit of time every so often to provide them with the skills they’ll need to be successful without your help. Children are still learning how to be humans and sometimes they need a little extra help.
I now really struggle to prepare dinner for myself regularly as an adult because I’m starting from scratch having never really learned much beyond the easy stuff I could make myself as a middle schooler. I’m also disabled (in multiple ways) and going through the whole process is so draining that I often end up not eating or eating something pre-made, and while there’s nothing wrong with that food it is frustrating to feel awful all the time from eating that kind of food but not have the time, energy, or money to figure out a way without it.
My parents never prepared me for real life tasks and self care responsibilities and my parents are my biggest critics when I fail or struggle with simple tasks like cooking dinner despite them being the reason for it. Every time I so much as attempt to make myself food that isn’t frozen or pre-made my mom has to comment on how it looks or how healthy it is when I’m literally just lucky I was able to do what I did.
I don’t know how relatable this is, maybe it’s only going to make sense to a select few people, but I just needed to get it off my chest. I’m sorry for the rant, thank you for reading. Let me know if you relate to this so I know I’m not just yelling into the void lol.

So, I went to a national park yesterday with my siblings, and while there I thought over my own little np au, and really got thinking about it when we were stuck waiting for a huge herd of bison to pass by.
So, here’s a fun little one-shot for the au with Crowley, Aziraphale, and wild animals.
Warning: for the love of fuck, please do not approach wild animals of any sort in a national or state park! And do not feed them human food, this is not good for them, and this gets them too used to humans, meaning that they could get hurt, or you could get hurt if you bother them too much.
On with the fic!
--
“You’d think that people would be a bit more considerate about the beauty of this park when, ya know, they’re fawning over it while they toss their trash about.” Crowley grumbled as he speared at a half empty bag of chips, clearly discarded and left for some animal to get into. He tossed it into his mobile trashcan.
“It is a darn shame.” Aziraphale sighed, following along, gesturing with a finger at a crumpled beer can. It vanished, but it ended up in the can to be tossed away. “We’ve got signs posted all over the park, especially at the rest areas and campgrounds! They’re even in a variety of languages!”
“Humans are just like that, angel. They take this world for granted.”
“Have you ever tossed your rubbish about like this?”
“Ehhh... when I was younger, didn’t even seem to care, didn’t know any better. Auntie Ash got on me about it, put the fear of her into me, been a lot better about it since.” Crowley replied, stabbing more trash with his spiked pole. “And since workin’ here... uhg. Yeah, no. Not throwin’ anymore trash on the ground.”
“Good call.” Aziraphale smiled before frowning, turning his head in the direction of one of the picnic tables nearby. He had noticed something going on out of the corner of his eye (and his unseen Eyes), a bit of excited chattering and activity with a group of tourists.
He could see a group of young college-aged humans, giggling and laughing, chatting about something they were circled around. A few of them even had out their cellular telephones, and Aziraphale gently put a hand on Crowley’s shoulder. “Dear, what are they doing over there?”
“Hm?” Crowley turned, glancing over. “What, that group? Looks like they’re excited about something. Can you see what they’re looking at with your spooky eyes?”
Aziraphale scoffed, muttering under his breath that his extra Eyes were not ‘spooky’. He could see, in just a blink, what the group was surrounding. It appeared to be two raccoons, and they were feeding them junk food.
“Oh! OH! No, no, stop, don’t do that!” Aziraphale shouted, rushing over, startling the group. “Don’t feed those animals!”
“What’re you freaking about, old man?” One of the young men said, and Aziraphale made a face at being called ‘old man’, how rude some humans could be! He was neither old nor a man! “
“Yeah, they came up to us!” A girl complained. “How could we say no to those li’l faces!”
“Easily.” Crowley stated as he approached. “Look, it’s cute and shit when you see people online feedin’ animals in videos from people involved in animal conservation and stuff. I get that, I love that kinda shit, but you are not qualified to do that. And these are wild animals, they live in the park, they’re not at a center or a zoo, or whatever.”
“Yeah, but, like, they’re totally sweet and nice, came right up to us without a problem. Look, they’re not even sick! They like eating oreos!” Another girl smiled at the two raccoons, who didn’t seem to care at all of what was happening, they were busy munching on the treats left within reach.
Crowley slapped his forehead, dragging his hand down his face. “They’re not allowed to eat that. This is why animals get into the trash cans, which, mind you, are meant to have their lids on them, and are not meant to be left open for any number of animals to get into. You want bears? This is how you get bears! And they will not gently eat outta your hands, they’ll bite ‘em off!”
One of the other boys snorted. “As if we’re gonna listen to a janitor.”
“It’s basic knowledge for all park employees, you dumbass! And for tourists as well!” Crowley looked about ten seconds from screaming at these humans like he did his plants and Aziraphale held up a hand, gently patting it against his human’s chest.
“Here, let me handle this, my dear. I’ll talk some sense into these rowdy children.”
Before anyone could say anything, he turned to the group and smiled, ever so sweetly as he felt the Eye tattoos on his arms warm. “Now, if I were you, I think it would be wise to properly pack up all food items in secured containers, especially meat products. Those can be tied up with a rope and strung up in a tree for easy access for you, but it is difficult access for animals. And I think you should clean up all your trash, disposing of everything properly, without any fussing. Oh, and you owe Crowley here an apology.”
The college students blinked a few times, saying apologies to Crowley, all sounding like they meant it, as they started to pack up their food and trash. Aziraphale smiled sweetly still and then gently shooed off the raccoons, saying that there was probably a yummy blackberry bush a bit away from here just asking for someone to eat its berries.
He turned to Crowley, who looked a bit gobsmacked. “The hell did you just...”
“I’m very persuasive, Crowley.” Aziraphale flashed him a smile before returning to the trash can. “Come along, love, we’ve got to finish this before our date! We have reservations!”
--
Crowley probably would have gotten into a fight, because from what my sister told me from her own experience working at a national park, a lot of employees were down to fight tourists.

Decemberween '23 — This Year's ASMRtists
If you’re not familiar with it, ASMR is an abbreviation meaning ‘autonomous sensory meridian response,’ a science sounding name for a reaction that some people get to a range of stimuli. This effect can be caused by a whole host of triggers but at least in the community on Youtube there’s a body of people who engage with it because of its ability to affect relaxation and restful mindsets. If you’re not familiar with what this looks like, it looks like a bunch of people making long videos with a strangely hushed affect.
And I watch and listen to them, to help me relax!
If you are familiar with it, hey, here’s some of the artists I’ve been watching this year, as the ASMR effect shifts around in my head and how I respond to it. One thing that people who don’t experience ASMR might not realise is that you can rely only on the effect being modestly unpredictable. Some stuff may cause it reliably for months and then suddenly, nothing. It pushes me to partake of new things regularly, and to that end, every year, I try to look at what artists are ‘new’ to me that I haven’t mentioned before.
Here then are four artists that I started paying attention to this year:
ASMR "Criminal" Lawyer Gets You Out of Trouble | BETTER CALL SAUL Parody
Watch this video on YouTube
I feel like I’ve watched more Amy Kay, like maybe I watched her years ago and I never got around to mentioning her. That’s probably likely, because she has an entire queer-read story about you being some variety of monarch, who started out being referred to as a dude, and then as the story evolved, the woman you’re talking to starts referring to you differently. Then eventually the series splits into two threads, with one half referring to ‘my lord’ and the other ‘my lady.’
Oh and then a cult got involved, it was an interesting story.
Anyway, Amy Kay does a lot of different types of video. Some of it is very mundane, some of it is very fantastic, and you’ll know if it’s the kind you respond to. Also, and this shouldn’t be a thing, but in the ASMR space, there’s a common responsiveness to media trends. When a Harry Potter movie comes out, a lot of people will make Harry Potter themed videos. It’s just a heavy trend, and I try not to hold it too much against the artists who are algorithm-responsive, but I am grateful when I see people fade out on it.
Amy Kay does have some videos about Harry Potter content, but it seems to be a thing of the past for now.
ASMR My Friend Brushes and Plays With My Hair
Watch this video on YouTube
Cosmo is an ASMR puppet. Cosmo is not unique as an ASMR puppet, but Cosmo is a puppet that does ASMR. And it’s a big friendly kind of puppet. You’re not going to see stuff that you won’t see from other ASMRtists by the way. Cosmo does roleplays about Recent Events (hi, Barbie Movie Tie In moment) and Cosmo does hand-focused gameplay videos (like Solitaire and Rush Hour), and Cosmo even does draw-along and ramble videos. In every way, Cosmo creates the most typical and normal content any middle of the road ASMRtist can produce, except for the alienation that comes from Cosmo being a puppet.
Alienation is important to me in ASMR. Roleplays don’t want to be realistic because they can’t be. Sometimes there are people who aim for normal, everyday kind of vibes, or expected behaviours, but because ASMR content is fundamentally weird (why are we all whispering?), the closer it gets to normalcy, the less likely it is to land for me. Give me something weird, give me something that recognisably can’t be real, and let me patch the gap in reality myself.
Cosmo’s great, and Cosmo isn’t real, but Cosmo exists and is my friend.
ASMR | making comfort food for a cold day
Watch this video on YouTube
I’m really selfconscious about my ASMR habits, especially since a lot of the ASMRtists I follow are very attractive women, some of whom are markedly younger than myself, and that makes me feel… oogy. It does mean that when I find myself responding to an ASMRtist who isn’t a pretty white girl, I try to make sure I mention it, and share their work. In this case, ASMRdido got on my radar through long, patient, whispered explanations of mathematical game concepts – particularly, the Monty Hall problem.
The other thing he does that I find useful for study is long (long) videos of playing a softly sounded, wood-and-velvet game called Close the Box. Close the Box is a great solo game because it underscores how little pieces you need to make a game out of something and still make it engaging.
ASMR-The Vintage Ice Cream Parlor Role Play🍨(Spooky Creations)
Watch this video on YouTube
And finally, Lloyd’s ASMR is a channel that’s… I think deliberately weird. Lloyd really turns up the ambient sound so if you don’t like the SHHHHH of an empty room, you might not like these. They’re slow, deliberate videos, and usually you can see the structure being something Lloyd has props for, reiterated in a new form. Door to door salesman, visiting a store, visiting an old style store. It’s a bit like a comprehensive library in that if you like one thing you can probably find ten or twenty versions of the same thing, even if they don’t make sense. Like you don’t get door to door bakery salespeople.
Lloyd is someone I like because of his gentle demeanour and I like the way that I, forgive me, don’t have to pay much attention. There’s not going to be a really funny joke or something I need to respond to, the way that (say) survey question videos invite me to. I know what I’m getting and I know there’s a reasonably large quantity of it, but also that it’s not about to impress me. It’s just sweet background noise and I’m not going to need to be afraid of something shocking or funny happening.
There! Here’s some stuff I’ve been listening to this year and I think makes my ability to focus and study better.
Check it out on PRESS.exe to see it with images and links!

⚠️THIS BLOG WILL CONTAIN WEIGHT GAIN AND FEEDISM KINK/FETISH CONTENT. IF THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. UNFOLLOW. If you see your content reblogged here and want it removed, I will remove it⚠️
Skip to the next set of ⚠️ if you are purely interested in kink stuff
Sprinkled in will also be plenty of Peaky Blinders, Watership Down, and other things that bring me immense joy.
25 || He/Him || gay || trans || ace || Taken by the very handsome and amazing piggy @girthleng

FAVORITE
• Shows: Peaky Blinders, Bob's Burgers, Money Heist, Stranger Things, Queens Gambit, Vikings, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Watership down.
• Movies: Watership down, anything Ghibli (fav is Nausicaa)
• Music: variety of stuff but right now IDLES, The White Stripes, Grandson, Black Pistol Fire. Big fan of Corpse Husband, Doja Cat, and Eminem. Also been listening to a lot of Billie Holiday and Peggy Lee.
• Books: Watership Down (if you have not caught on Watership Down is my biggest autistic special interest)

IF YOU ARE UNDER 20 I WILL NOT SPEAK TO YOU
⚠️kink stuff⚠️
- I am currently taken and not interested in teasing/talking to people about kink anymore UNLESS it is in the form of interacting with my art/writing. I will gladly talk to you about my characters. I am still interested in friends that may want to talk about kink in general (i.e. hear me gush about how cute it is that a certain guy stuffed himself silly at the buffet but then wanted ice cream himself after when I went through McDonald's to get an ice cream for the dog as a treat) but I will not be teasing/encouraging anyone but my very VERY amazing boyfriend
- I am autistic and often abrasive because of it. I require boundaries to be placed by both parties and to be respected. Communication should be clear and intentional. If it seems like something is flying over my head, it is. Be direct, please, because I will do the same.
- Not into being a feedee/gaining/mutual gaining. This is final. No joking about it, no negotiations. I love contrast. Let's keep it that way. If you disrespect this boundary, you will be blocked.
- I have a BS in animal science and wanted to be a farmer before my physical health declined. This being said, I have two decades of farm experience and love to bring that into kink talk. Let's just say I'm great at helping you grow.
- I want to get to know the people I talk to about kink. I'm not gonna just jump right into it. That doesn't appeal to me. I'm looking for friends and that is it. It won't break my heart if that isn't for you, but don't let it break yours when I don't reciprocate.
- open to role-playing as OCs or existing characters. I will only role-play MxM as I'm strictly attracted to other men. I'm more into the sensual side of things as an asexual person, and thus, extremely explicit content isn't something I will typically engage in. Talk to me about what we both expect and we will see. No mpreg. No death feedism. No long-term immobility. Not currently open to RP
- my transness is not to be the main topic of discussion in any way shape or form. I'm a dude. Treat me as such.

Lijiang Part 2
Alright I think with this post I am pretty much caught up.
After coming back from Tiger Leaping Gorge on Friday I made my way back to Lijiang where I’ve been for the last 3 days. Friday evening was nice and quiet. I stayed in my hotel. Every night all the staff in the hotel have homemade dinner together and invite any guests that want to join them which is really cool, and it happened to me one of the staff’s birthday. I had just finished eating dinner and they went “好的! 蛋糕!” ok, cake! And at the door was a cake delivery of two giant cakes. I was so surprised, but given that I can’t understand the majority of what people’s conversations are I guess it shouldn’t be that surprising. We celebrated the staff member’s birthday which was super cute.
On Saturday I had a rest day. In the afternoon I went over to Black Dragon Pool Park, one of the bigger city parks here. I walked around for a while and got noodles and bubble tea from a food stand and sat by the pond while catching up on writing and listening to a busker play. It was very nice.
On Sunday I ventured out of town to the nearby mountain, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Weirdly I was able to take the regular city bus there even though it was like 30 km outside of town. It was very seamless once I found the right bus.
As generally tends to happen on the tail end of long trips I’ve been pretty tired the last few days so I wasn’t really up to pushing myself to leave really early in the morning to go visit the mountain or spend the whole day doing things. But as a result when I got there it was very crowded and due to how big the crowds were I couldn’t see much before closing time, which, honestly I’m fine with.
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain’s peak has significant elevation, I’m not sure what the elevation actually was or what it was at the base of the mountain but people were extremely prepared for it. I’d never seen this before, but everyone had small individual canned oxygen tanks they just took some breaths from every now and again to avoid altitude sickness. It was pretty cool and helped a lot with the altitude. Definitely could’ve used that for the 13,000+ ft elevation in Peru.
I had arrived too late in the day to visit the peak of the mountain, but I had some lunch at the base and saw a cultural performance which was pretty cool. They had over 100 performers from a variety of different ethnic groups in Yunnan and Tibet and they performed traditional dances. The stage was really cool set up against the mountains and the performance even had horses at one point.
I don’t know if this is a cultural thing or just this particular crowd of tourists thing or a me being cranky and sick of people thing but I got pretty annoyed at the people in the audience. People were just shoving and pushing left and right with very little regard for or awareness of personal space, talking loudly on the phone all throughout, and just getting up in the middle and walking around in front of the stage. So between all that it was kind of hard to see everything but it was still pretty cool. I’ve noticed a lot of shoving and pushing and lack of personal space especially while waiting in lines here and I feel like its just normal here and I just need to get used to it.
Anyway after that I got on a bus to go visit a really cool lake at the base of the mountain called Blue Moon Bay. The water was so turquoise and clear it was very otherworldly. There were also these natural pools that reminded me a lot of the travertines in Pamukkale, Turkey. There were literally dozens of people taking their wedding photos and there were a lot of other people so it was pretty crowded but it was still cool to see.
The sun was really really bright up by the mountain due to the elevation. Here in China people are very very conscientious about sun protection, but instead of using sunscreen they use UV protectant clothing. Usually this involves a long jacket that zips up to cover your nose and mouth, arm coverings, gloves, a large brimmed hat, sunglasses and an umbrella. Some people even have full face masks (forehead to chin) with eye holes. This is rooted in colorism unfortunately as having paper white skin is seen as highly regarded here, people go to great lengths to avoid any amount of sun exposure and use skin whitening creams in addition to this.
Since I’d gotten sunburned at least 3 times already this trip I finally caved and got a UV jacket to go to the mountain and it actually worked really well. The only part of me that got burned was my nose and chin because I didn’t zip it up all the way. When I went to buy it it was a weird interaction at the shop. It was supposed to be about 80 yuan, the old man at the shop I guess recognized me or something? I’d been in the shop a couple of times already and talked a little bit to him before. He only charged me 50 yuan for the jacket and a bottle of water, but then after I paid him digitally he got all worked up and started waving his hands all over the place. Then he took 40 yuan from the register and put it in my hand and shooed me away, so he essentially gave me the jacket for free. I was so confused and hope I didn’t misunderstand what was happening but I think he was just being really nice.
So anyway, shout out to that old man for helping me avoid getting burned yet again.
Anyway, sorry for the tangent, the sun was super super bright and intense at the mountain so it was a weird combination of being cold and hot at the same time. I started making my way back to town which involved a truly enormous claustrophobic line to get on the bus back down the mountain and then another to get back to town.
Back in town I wandered around the ancient town one more time and bought some dried tea to take home. It was a huge production involving everyone in the shop and a little kid running to get his mom who spoke English. The lady in the shop ended up giving me a rose cake for free which was nice. Yunnan specializes in a lot of foods one of which is flower cakes, little warm cakes with a flower infused filling.
I walked around the snack market which had a lot of interesting local foods. I tried a “milk fan” which is essentially fried milk on a stick. They take the milk and separate it out through a very complex process until it is semi-solid and then fry it. It was very interesting, it tasted like yoghurt or cheese but was chewy and crunchy.
Back at my hotel the owner had made homemade mushroom soup for dinner, which Yunnan also specializes in. It was very yummy. I was also very surprised because there was a French person staying at my hotel and the owner of the hotel asked me to go translate what he wanted to say to the French person and I was able to translate a whole interaction. My Chinese is so so so basic I was very surprised I was able to sort of do that.
At dinner we were able to actually hold somewhat of a conversation this time which was nice. I really do want to get to know and talk to people here but the language barrier has been so intense its been hard to have anything more than very basic communications.
One thing that I am starting to admire about China is how fiercely independent and for lack of a better word, self-sufficient, it is. I feel like a lot of the rest of the world has been impacted a lot by globalization and homogenization. You can go almost anywhere in the world and hear the same popular music playing, see the same exact brands of shops, and see the same 5 chain restaurants and use the same apps and speak English and be understood. But that is absolutely not the case in China. There are a few global brands like KFC and Starbucks that have managed to establish themselves here but it is rare. Other than that, China does absolutely everything on its own terms and you really can’t get around just relying on English. China does just about everything without relying on outside influences and in many cases are way ahead of the curve compared to the rest of the world. China forces you to make a genuine effort to engage in their culture rather than adapting itself to suit foreigners, which I think is kind of cool and I haven’t seen that really anywhere else I’ve traveled.
There is of course a flip side to that. A big part of the reason China has their own version of everything is partially to avoid undue influence from the west and partly because the Chinese government has a very specific narrative it wants to push and so anything alternative to that is simply not allowed. There is no access to a lot of information online, media is heavily censored, and it is very very difficult for foreigners to get a visa to enter China. This results in a lot of people truly just not being aware of some alternative perspectives and ways of thinking and its hard for intercultural exchange to happen. Not saying it doesn’t happen, there are lots of students and teachers who go abroad or come from abroad and plenty of intergenerational immigrant families. But I can definitely see how one could go their whole life here without being exposed to a lot of people who are different from them and then you get situations of discrimination, racism, and even ethnic cleansing like what is happening in Xinjiang and no one talks about it or is aware of it. Protesting is illegal here.
Not saying the US is any better, we have a lot of problems as well and certainly don’t have clean hands either. There is a lot of censorship and discrimination and racism in the US as well. I don’t know where I’m going with this other than there is a lot of rhetoric in both the US and China that tends to demonize the other country and it sounds naïve but when you get down to it and are able to have an actual conversation with someone and have that person to person cultural exchange, we have a lot in common. The US and China both have a lot of very serious issues but its also not fair to conflate people with their governments, especially when they as individuals can do very little to impact what their government does. I guess it just reiterates for me how important education and cultural exchange are.
Anyway I don’t know where I was going with any of that word vomit, but I am currently en route to my final stop in China (but not of this trip): Xi’an. Will try to update before I leave in about 3 days.

Day 159: Thursday June 8, 2023 - “This was 23 Months”
Play, travel, and potty training - the benchmarks of William’s last month before turning two.   From here we stop measuring his growth in months.  He’ll just be “two” for the next 12 months and it causes some reflection on how much I’ve enjoyed these little monthly check ins to show the more mundane, day to day inching forward of William’s little life.   Its amazing to look back even on just how much he’s grown and changed in the last six months when he was just starting his climbing phase.
In this past month, William got a new pair of big boy tennis shoes to help him keep up with all that energy and being on the go and we spent much of this 23rd month, out rambling. He spent more than a week in Phoenix with his cousins, and then put his 20th state on the map with Wisconsin before spending Memorial Day under the Arch in St Louis.  He’s now been to five big league Zoos and Baseball Parks (8 MLB games).
He is starting to eat a wider variety of foods, but anything that involves a dip in ranch is the easiest to go down - that is if we can get him to settle down long enough to eat.   This little boy wants to keep going from one thing to the next.  A very busy, and independent bee on our hands.  He sure does love a good playground!  And I think imaginative play will be one of his stronger areas going into his twos.
We’ve been a decision here to not label anything as terrible twos and whats nice is that with that perspective, we’re not seeing anytihng all that terrible yet.  Thats not to say he isnt a DFK (Deeply Feeling Kid), we’re just expecting it and rolling with it when those big Actingham emotions come.  We’re letting him explore and meltdown and supporting him in that knowing that his tides very quickly break in the other direction and that overall he is a very lovable and affectionate sweet boy.  He’s sleeping well on his own now, napping real good, and communicating well and is an energetic bundle of joy and entertainment in our house even with all the UtOH messes that come with naked time and potty training.   We have a vibrant happy and secure two year old in our house and with closing reflection on the 23rd month, I can also share that I am pretty proud of where Ive come as a Dad, and where we are as a family.   We’ve made it through these complex, trying first 23 months with only a few bumps and bruises to show for it.  We’ve built a family system, and our little lion is thriving in it.
Favorite Food: Cup of Ranch Dippa from BWs or especially Mod Pizza.
Favorite Song:  Laurie Berkner Band - Moon Moon Moon
Favorite Book: Goodnight Baseball
Favorite Show: Miss Rachel on Youtube
Favorite Toy(s):  Race Cars - He got plenty of new cars and trucks as potty prizes. Lining them all up like trains.
Favorite Word:  Daddy! or Mommy! at the top of his lungs to get your attention, no matter how close you are.
Favorite Favorite: Riding Choo Choo and Trains -> all things trains
Least Favorite: Being touched when he doesn’t want to be touched (independence starting to shine through - really great when stuck in a middle seat on an airplane together!) “William Do It!”
Song: Leah Blevins - First Time Feeling
Quote: “our jobs don’t stop at protecting our children’s physical safety—we are also their emotional caretakers. This is where two other important job duties come in: validation and empathy. Validation is the process of seeing someone else’s emotional experience as real and true, rather than seeing someone else’s emotional experience as something we want to convince them out of or logic them away from. Validation sounds like this: “You’re upset, that’s real, I see that.” ― Becky Kennedy

Tumblr media
Adobo: The word adobo comes from the Spanish word “Adobar” which means marinade. The practice of marinating meat in a flavorful mixture made from salt, pepper, garlic, and other herbs and spices. Healthy Rican’s Adobo is a healthy version of one of the most popular staple seasonings in Latin cuisine. Made with mineral pink Himalayan salt with a blend of garlic, pepper, oregano, coriander, and turmeric for its healthy anti-inflammatory benefits.
Tumblr media
Sazón: The word sazón is the Spanish word for flavor and/or seasoning. Healthy Rican’s Sazón blend is completely salt-free, made with all natural spices like; annatto aka achiote, turmeric, garlic, with a hint of cumin and coriander, that will bring out a nice yellow-orange color with a hint of Latin flavor in your foods. Sazón has been used in traditional Latin foods for decades, and most can’t cook without it.
Tumblr media
Sofrito: The word sofrito comes from the Spanish word “sofrier” which means to stir-fry. It is a blend of various vegetables and herbs used in Latin cuisine, especially in Caribbean islands like Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. Recipes vary from place to place but primarily consist of onions, garlic, cilantro, culantro, a variety of peppers, and sometimes tomatoes. It is mainly used to add a delicious flavor to rice, beans, meats, soups, and stews. Our signature blend of dehydrated Sofrito is salt-free and can be used to as a dry rub to marinate meats or rehydrated in water and used as a replacement to fresh sofrito.
Tumblr media
Salt-Free Adobo: With Healthy Rican’s salt-free version of adobo, you can get all the delicious flavors of adobo minus the salt. It can be used to marinate meats, added in rice, beans, and stews to enhance the flavor of your foods.

The Puerto Rican trifecta!
The secret to Puerto Rican cooking (and many other Latin cultures) comes from various spices and herbs like culantro aka recao (the stronger tasting cilantro cousin), cilantro, oregano, and other vegetables native to the Caribbean islands and Latin America. Vegetables like garlic, onions, and peppers are a staple in most Latin cuisine.
The primary spice blends are Adobo and Sazón. That with the addition of Sofrito, the base in almost all the recipes. Together these create the traditional flavors found in most Puerto Rican foods. I call it the Puerto Rican trifecta!

If you’d like to learn more on how to use sofrito, here’s a link to one of our blog posts:

Here’s a recipe that can help you get started using
Healthy Rican Whole30 Approved seasonings
Cauliflower “Arroz con Pollo”
Ingredients:
1 lbs cooked pulled chicken
1-2 tbsp avocado oil
2 tbsp Healthy Rican Sofrito (hydrated in ¼ cup water)
2 tsp Healthy Rican Sazón
2 tsp Healthy Rican Adobo
Optional: olives, diced red peppers, and onions.
2 tbsp plain tomato sauce
2 lbs cauliflower rice
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
For the chicken, boil 2-3 chicken breasts for approximately 10 minutes or until pink is gone. Let cool and pull the chicken in threads using 2 forks.
In a separate pot, on high heat, add the avocado oil and sofrito until the sofrito sizzles and releases the aroma.
Quickly mix in the sazón, adobo, and tomato sauce. At this moment you can also add any olives, onions, peppers, or any extra ingredients you’d like to add.
Add the chicken, mix well with all the ingredients until the chicken absorbs the color and flavor.
Add the cauliflower, salt and pepper to taste, and mix well.
Lower the temperature to the lowest setting and cover.
Do not add water. The cauliflower will release juices as it cooks.
Cook on low for approximately 10-15 minutes, mixing in between to make sure it doesn’t stick to the bottom.
NOTE: Test taste the flavors to make sure they are to your liking. Everyone makes food in different ways.
Now let’s CELEBRATE!
In celebration of this wonderful partnership we are working on a new look for Healthy Rican. While it is not yet complete, we just couldn’t wait to start creating mockups and play around with new colors.
We are also giving away a free cookbook inspired by my personal journey with Whole30. The cookbook has ideas for Breakfast and Lunch. It also contains full recipes for Dinner and all follow the Whole30 guidelines. Click here to get access to the cookbook. Act fast because the cookbook won’t be up for long. i've been using this site for almost a year now, so i suppose i'm at least somewhat qualified to do this. i mainly just want to do this for fun honestly. i think lots of people have covered more of the setup and what to expect from tumblr as a whole so i think i'll focus on more of the usage of this site, because it's definitely much different from twitter, and, in my opinion, FAR better, plus that's the thing people seem to be the most confused about. so, here we go!
Post Features
the first thing you may notice is that tumblr has no character limit on posts! if you want to post a 10,000 word essay on the motives of your favorite character from the video game or tv show you're super into right now, nobody's stopping you. already so much more convenient than making threads on twitter.
there's a variety of options you can use to make your text more visually interesting, add emphasis, and/or organize your post! when you highlight text (at least on browser, i dont use the app), these options will appear above what you highlighted. you can make your text bold, italicized, bigger (on a new line), smaller, crossed out, or even colored! under the drop-down list there are other options too such as cursive text and lists. you can also add hyperlinks to text if you want. (this is all in the rich text editor, you can also switch to HTML or Markdown by going to your post settings.)
you can also add plenty of other media to posts! you can add up to 30 images which you can arrange however you please, although from my experience arranging images is kinda clunky, but still way better than twitter lol. you can also add gifs, videos (one per post), audio files (10 per post), and embed links. you can also add a cutoff line where everything under that line is hidden under a "read more" button, which is very useful for longer posts.
when you make a post, there is a space to add a title, but it's not required. most people don't add titles unless it helps with formatting.
you can also schedule a post to be posted at a certain time, queue posts to be posted on a consistent schedule, change who can reblog a post, and even save posts as drafts if you want/need to come back to them later.
Tags
Under every post you make/reblog, there is an option to add tags. these are in their own section under the post itself. you can add as many as you want afaik, but they can only be so many characters long. on tumblr, tags have multiple uses.
you can add tags that correspond to your post such as the topic or fandom (and characters/people involved), or whether it's art or photography, for example, to try to help get your post out there. it's preferred and just better in general to only add tags that are relevant to your post. don't tag character fanart as sports or food or pop music, but ESPECIALLY not an unrelated fandom.
you can also use tags to organize your blog and make it easier to find specific posts. you can tag your own art as "my art" and art you reblog from friends as "friends' art", and even create your own tags for specific topics you frequently post about, such as your oc world or a fandom fic or au you have. i personally don't use tags for organization much, but i do have my own tags for the two oc worlds i have. (you can do this even if you're not a fandom-goer or artist, these just serve as an example bc im both lol)
you can even use tags to add extra comments to a post. lord knows i do this a lot myself. lots of people will use tags to sort of ramble off-handedly under a post when it's not the main content of said post. this is especially common under reblogs - more on that later. since you can add spaces within tags, writing full sentences in the tags is easy and a very common practice. just be careful when using commas; adding a comma starts a new tag.
Notes
similarly to how twitter has likes, retweets and comments, tumblr has likes, reblogs and replies. however, these are all combined into one sum of notes. all notes on a post are compiled under the source post. by clicking on the number of notes under a post, you can see a list of all replies, likes and reblogs on a post, if you're curious like me.
on tumblr, likes act as more of a bookmarking tool. you can look at a list of all the posts you liked, and you can have this list displayed on your blog if you want, but likes do NOT increase the visibility of a post. if you want to help a post gain traction, you need to reblog it. if you don't want that post on your blog, but you want to let the person know that you've seen and enjoyed their post, you can leave a like as a small but kind gesture if you want. if you were playing minecraft, liking a post would be akin to punching a mob, but reblogging would be like using a sword. it may not necessarily be a powerful diamond sword, but it does more than a one-damage punch. i should also mention - you can only like a post once; if you like a reblog of a post, you like the source post and can't like separate reblogs of the post.
reblogs are the core of tumblr's functionality. this site does not have an algorithm, so reblogs are the only way for posts to circulate. it's probably pretty easy to figure out, but reblogs put another person's post on your own blog and on your followers' feeds. this is likely the biggest difference between tumblr and twitter: you can reblog a post as many times as you want, and you can add on to a post directly by reblogging, which is much different from a quote-tweet on twitter. also different from quote-tweets, all notes on reblogs are notes contributed to the source post. in a reblog, you can add a comment either in normal text or in the tags, and you can add images and gifs as well. it's common courtesy to put comments that don't contribute to the post in the tags, such as saying you think a post is funny. lots of famous tumblr posts are chains of reblogs - unlike on twitter where you can only retweet one tweet/reply at a time, you can reblog these reblog chains. you can also add the tags of the person you reblogged from to your own reblog if you want, though usually people just say "prev" if they liked the previous reblogger's tags.
replies are a convenient way to have a conversation under a post without repeatedly reblogging. although convenient, replies are limited in what you can do with them. they're text-only and have a character cap. but they're still a good way to add a quick comment to a post if you don't want it on your blog. you can also reply directly to a person in the notes of a post by mentioning them in your reply. replies can be deleted from a post or be turned off for a post entirely by the original poster.
I think that's about all you need to know to get started posting and reblogging, but please feel free to add on if i did happen to forget anything. thanks for reading and happy tumbling! :D

Hi! So I wanted to participate in your TR manga readers activity for today.
I'll try to keep it short..
1. My thoughts on people who make analysis
I love it! I'm all in for theories and analysis especially when people use a logical approach with reasonable arguments; even if some of those arguments seem far-fetched sometimes. It's food for more thought (can't get enough of that). Even just analysis about small moments in the manga that don't really have a big impact on the story as a whole are nice. Bonus for hilarious theories that have meme potential.
(I also like emotional rants; not nearly as much as the latter but they can get entertaining.)
2. Are TR ships (canon or not) worth the war?
No. I don't count myself as someone who is a shipper nor am I against it, but what irks me is when people (especially grown adults) get tooooo worked up about this. We're talking about fictional characters here, they don't exist- they are just drawn lines. I'll never understand people who genuinely fight over stuff like this. Just look the other way, unfollow them, or even block them if you can't handle their opinion on a ship or a character. But don't go and harass or insult people; that shit is wrong, stupid and worst of all A WASTE OF TIME.
However... I like healthy fights. When you can bounce logical arguments around and either come to a conclusion or go your separate ways concerning the subject. Healthy arguments are a good way to learn from each other on any given subject (if people stay respectful and don't get too many emotions involved). It's not for everyone but I appreciate and enjoy good ol' debates, especially if hilarious jokes are being thrown around.
3. Found good or weird when I joined the fandom
I don't really see myself as someone who is IN any fandom but I got into the TR story and did some posts plus reblogged some TR stuff so I guess I'm kinda "in it" now (surface level though since I prefer to be an observer)? Idk. What I especially liked while checking this fandom out for the first time, was the variety of fanart and the memes. I like art and I like memes so yeah it clicked.
(My first language isn't english so have some mercy on my writing "skills" lol)
Hi !! Thank you for participating and no worries, your English is way better than mine ! 😄✨ Ngl I agreed with almost everything you wrote here, especially the “healthy fight” part 🤣 I mean who doesn’t like that ? When people debate with logic and common sense, it’s like witnessing justice is being upheld (lol). Also, I believe it’s important to point out that there are people who simply want to start a drama because they love it and ngl it annoys me too when they begin to point fingers once they couldn’t handle the situation that they brought upon themselves. Simply by mentioning about things that could’ve triggered people in order to make a war happens, I don’t see how beneficial it is.
