Sometimes, I wonder what would have become of certain characters - guys like Gore and McDonald, for example - if they hadn't been killed extra-prematurely.

Would their continued presence have made any difference, and if so, how? What would it have taken for them to be pushed truly to the brink, to their absolute limit?

In essence, and for lack of a better phrase, they died as "heroes" but would they ever have become "villains" had they only lived longer?

Your Schrodinger's brother tags re: wwx and jc. One of my favourite AUs to have fun with in my brain is WHAT IF Jiang Cheng is the bastard. As in his bio father is Wen Zhuliu. And he somehow realizes this bc mumblemumblen golden core. Very fun position to put JC in emotionally!!! (If he doesn't figure it out nothing changes from his pov so I need him to find out for him to have emotional turmoil).

This is obviously not canon but I find it fun to think about.

tragically i cannot see yzy ever cheating on jfm but this would break everything inside of jc's brain. possibly at the right time it would actually be freeing in a twisted way! there's a cosmic reason he's bad at jianging and his dad doesn't seem to like him. he can just put it all down and stop trying. of course then he had no identity and no place in the world but you know. trade offs.

I stopped watching Ninjago after Skybound back in 2016 and then when the designs changed after the LEGO Ninjago Movie, I just never got back into it because I thought it was ‘different’.

Recently decided to get back into the show and boy, was I wrong. For a kids show, Ninjago has emotionally destroyed me in so many ways. Somehow this show gets even better as the seasons go on which is rare for most shows. Idk if it grew with its audience or what but I’ve been loving every second of it.

The farmer’s son is a smart boy, very studious, has big dreams of getting into politics one day and always seems to have his nose in a book the size of his head. Though he’s got a good work ethic, his mother thinks it needs to be put to the test in a way he’ll understand— all of his big talk about generating plasma falls on the deaf ears of a farmer who knows that the true way to revolution is through toil.

When his big, grand dreams about liberation drive him to want something greater than working as a farmhand, his mother brings on a new project— a temperamental steer, rescued from inhumane living conditions, with a penchant for violence and an unrelenting stubbornness. The farmhand is tasked with the care and keeping of the cattle, and though the two get off to a rocky start, the man treats the steer with the first show of humanity he’s ever experienced— giving him his abuela’s old glasses, allowing him to see clearly for the first time in his life.

Somehow, the young man is able to tame the bull, who listens intently as he reads him theory, parrots his speech; the two eventually grow to have a bond. It is anyones guess whether this relationship, unseen before in history, will succeed— with a creature who is finally trusted to learn, and a man who is only beginning to experience the world in anything but theory.

Watching an old anime and I hate how the women are written. We have this chick with no self-preservation that receives an email from some rando telling her he will "smother her with flowers", and she is like "how poetic and beautiful" and goes to meet him. WTF? In what world would a grown woman ever think this is a good idea?

There's also the protagonist's evil ex who tries to blackmail him whilst suspecting him of murder. Like ma'm, that'd make you a lose end. You bitches lack self-preservation and were clearly written by a man who's never thought about that.

I loathed the "uwu this war criminal finally bonded with the child he took from her homeland and whose mother he killed in front of her" episode. They have this German mercenary "adopt" a child from Myanmar after killing her mother. And it gets framed as wholesome.

❤️ we haven’t started trying yet mostly because of the fact that I’m in school and we don’t know where we’re going to end up living. And like I’m still young (27), my husband is young, so we have time—but I want to see my babies so badly. I’ve always been really maternal and it’s never been a question for me, having children. And I just know my husband is going to be such a good father. So it’s really just a matter of time but gosh, it’s hard some days.
