Friendly reminder that-
Israel isn't attacking Hamas, it's attacking Palestinians.
This doesn't have anything to do with religion.
There are lgbt+ people in palestine.
There are Jews in palestine and it's not the IDF soldiers.
There are Christians in palestine.
Whenever Hamas releases a former hostage, all of or at least the majority of them say that they had been treated good by the Palestinians.
When the former hostage, Emily, yes that little blonde girl was asked if Hamas taught her to share her food with those needed more, she nodded.
People who support palestine and or are Palestinian but are in other, more "civilised", countries have faced death threats, losing their jobs and even physical violence by people who support Israel.
Jesus was a Palestinian jew.
Holocaust survivors have compared the crimes that Israel is committing to the crimes nazis did back in world War 2.
The reason why no one spoke up about palestine before was due to the fact that many received death threats.
Isreal is allowed to do this because of world War 2, it's fully exploiting the hundreds of deaths of Jews along with the torture they faced.
The Pope is pro-palestine and has stated that what Isreal is doing is terrorism.
Boycotting is easy.

Another moral/philosophical/related topics statistic question. Please reblog for larger sample size
This is about your own beliefs, values, morals etc. Not that of your community or loved ones, not that of your boss or parent, things you personally believe to be wrong and right. Please, if you have the time to spare, tag your response and explain a little about it :)
Try to be truthful on this poll and pick the option that applies to your current self and not the option you aspire to or want to believe you fit into. There is no judgement here, only the beauty of data and diverse perspectives.

you ever think about how all of the moral justifications for not eating humans, ALSO only apply if you don't eat any other meat?
and while you might say that a cow and human are different, you wouldn't eat a baby, a baby so dumb it doesn't even know other people exist, and is essentially a parasite latched onto the parents that can't fend for itself, and has to siphon of nutrients
like seriously, if your not ok with people eating humans, either become vegetarian. or realize that maybe humans aren't some all important better to everything else, and still just an animal like the rest.
one who just so happened to take over the world before anything else

You inferior worms who care about morals and ethics!
I have massacred billions of people around the world in my head hundreds of billions of times, and I have also massacred billions of humans hundreds of times in the game!
And I'm slaughtering a lot of humans in my novels and enjoying it!
If you want punish me, try it, you worms!

No matter how you choose to change your life to pretend to be "morally superior", if you cannot show gratitude for what you have in place of what you have "given up" then you're not morally superior. If you cannot appreciate what has been currently sacrificed so that you can consume whatever it is you are consuming in place of other materials or foods, you're still not morally superior. You're just a different tone of morally defective. Awareness of the self and your impact on the world around you as well as gratitude for what is sacrificing itself for you is where the value lies. Everyone gets caught up on the corporeal value of everything. From food to textiles. And they pretend that their Physical Money paying for Physical Goods automatically makes the morally superior if they buy the "Approved Items". Like it's a scoreboard they can keep in their head to help them sleep at night. Morality and Ethics are not something that is bought or proven with a way you choose to live your life. It's how you conduct yourself and are connecting to the world around you.

We are all parts of genes, character, ideologies, morals and traumas that were passed down from one generation to the next.

"If you view religion as necessary for ethics, you've reduced us to the ethical level of four-year-olds. 'If you follow these commandments you'll go to heaven, if you don't you'll burn in hell' is just a spectacular version of the carrots and sticks with which you raise your children."
Susan Neiman, philosopher and author (b. 27th March 1955)

how morally questionable is it to torment children by using hacks in minecraft for the sake of entertaining children on youtube?

PLEASE REPOST AND DONATE
The atrocities happening in Gaza, along with other places such as Congo and Sudan, are disgusting and we all should be ashamed for not going full on on our "leaders" but please repost and donate to anyone still standing.

Would it be so terrible to love the right person in every way, even the wrong ways?
Ok! Fun philosophy poll!
To what extent would you break your personal code of ethics or morals/defend the breaking of this code for the person you love the most? Not second-most. Not third-most. The person you are most loyal to.

What do you believe in?
Well then that is a generalized question haha!
Well if your asking about my morals and self then
I am the sort who no matter if you have 3 million followers or just 2 I treat you the same, I base you just on who you are,
As a con goer I have gotten to speak to some pretty famous peeps from Bill Farmer(Goofy) to seeing Stan the Man when I was 11 at my 1st convention, (Rip Stan Lee), some of theae Celebrities are just oof in character(Looking at you Walking Dead Crew Member who shouted at a 4 year girl wanting 20 bucks for your Autograph) so I know Fames not a good judge of character, especially in a world that seems to say that's the important thing anymore,
I also believe in Justice and Fairness, as someone who's been judged unfairly I place a very strong emphasis in making sure the facts are straight before making Judgement of one's character
But at the same time, I look at the why they may have done so,
My Wife calls me Bugs or Oswald at times because I can be extremely blunt and to the point like them, with a sprinkle of chaotic smugness,
Because I do like chaos, but only when it's the good sort I have learned the difference after all I am a Nordic Pagan who follows Loki,
