"Or have we been cleared by our esteemed councilor to continue our search?" she teases of her older sister with a sharp grin, as they draw near the empty town a few hours south of Hollow Cove. With all the runs heading out today to various towns, there'd not been enough trucks to go around unless they wanted to partner with a group of wolves heading out. Needless to say, horses and their own destination suited just fine, despite the animals' obnoxiously loud heartbeats. But their blood appeals to her about as much as the pint of animal blood in her pack, which isn't much at all. Not these days. She much prefers the idea of them continuing to work on their map on their runs until they come across the perfect town to dig into it. It's just been taking longer than expected to find the right one since Celestin concocted the plan. @manybcdthings

They're tucked up high on a platform, several miles out from Hollow Cove and while Eve might've expressed her willingness to volunteering for watch, it isn't her preference. She glances over at Nicolas, "you're better company than I had on watch last time." A wicked grin cross her lips, "I think he was debating whether he could off me and get away with it out here." Their old coven member had glared holes through the back of her head the entire day they were on watch. She doesn't blame him but what about leaving the past in the past? A year in a facility was barely worth mentioning in the grand scheme of things when they've lived for centuries. @secrettyrant
