Time to kick off a new year with new art! And I've got another new Trollan "what if" idea for my first picture of the year! I've drawn a couple batches of protagonists, so how about some antagonists now?
Doctor Zoog the Ingenious was once Montork's junior. Rising quickly in the ranks in the Academy as a brilliant mind, he quickly became the second-best of the academy. However, one thing constantly bit at him: "second". Driven to the point of dangerous, he was sure he could be better than second, even better than first! Rather than tap into dangerous black magic, he decided to tap into taboo technology. Soon, the technology became tastier and tastier to him, to the point he decided to mechanically experiment on himself. Be it the toll of work, these new modifications, or a combination of both, this both ran Doctor Zoog ragged and caused him to snap. If he can't become second best by skill, how about elimination? This incident caused him to be locked in Flotsam Prison. Despite his magic being tempered here, his technology certainly isn't, and he's been hatching a plan to conquer Trolla from inside his prison, and now he has a new assistant to fuel his experiments. Hopefully he's more loyal than his first one...
Uggart the Strong, now known to others as simply "Big Uggo", has found himself in a predicament. Once a loyal, powerful, and kind Trollan, he was very strong in his magic. Maybe a touch too strong. He didn't know his own strength, causing accidental destruction during any help. And the help to fix the help just caused worse issues. Another downfall of him is that he's not the sharpest, which means he was often used as a patsy for dangerous situations. A group of other Trollans decided he was the best Trollan to contain a powerful cluster of Memory Shift Orbs. Sure, he was able to contain them, but at a price. Somehow, this scrambled everything up. Now people don't know who he was, or how this new prisoner got into the Flotsam Prison. Somehow roomed with Doctor Zoog (who did a bit of editing to make it that way, along with making sure he was kept on record as a prisoner), he's now the bad doctor's assistant, and frequent guinea pig. With new implants inside him, not only is his mind being sapped, but he's being hypnotized into his new "role". But he can't help feel that something feels off here...
Wokrapanwooki, better known to most Trollans as "Prankster" the Jovial, is a Trollan not from the main town. Originally from Karadania, a town outside the main Trollan hub, she's from a subset of Trollans that have different cultures than others. First off, their town is built around mirth and laughter, to the point that practical jokes are basically law in the town. Second off, aside from some minor differences in physical build, keeping faces hidden isn't a cultural norm in the town, thus turning a taboo into a regular. Prankster is the top, well, prankster of the town. At least, she was. Pulling a joke that went too far, even by Karadanian standards, she was exiled from her hometown. No one knows what this joke was, but it must have been serious. With a simple robe change and lifting up her scarf, she enrolled as a main town Trollan into the Academy, and was able to earn a title. She's now a major pest to the remainder of Trolla. Because her idea of "fun" is worse than other Karadnians. Turning the town's water supply into slime and letting a horde of Scarfenhat Moths into the wild are only funny ideas to her. Despite this, she has one supporter, that being Blinker.
Blinker is a robot originally created by Doctor Zoog. Created to be his assistant in the Flotsam Prison, he's the bad doctor's best experiment. Designed to be loyal and unquestioning, he was meant to be agreeable to the doctor's schemes and ideas, no matter the consequences. However, a combination of errant machinery (it's hard to get good technology when you're in prison) and a lucky shock of electricity, gave Blinker a tiny bit of a conscious. Using what was set to be Doctor Zoog's escape from the prison (a one-use teleporter using a very rare element), Blinker escaped the prison. Lasting on his own for a while, he eventually ran into Prankster during her exile. The two became fast friends, and he eventually became her own yes-bot. Sure, what she's doing isn't very nice either, but it's far better than what Doctor Zoog had plans of doing, so it's okay that he supports her, right?

New story, New characters!
I’ve never been so excited with my own ocs before lol. Not that my other ocs don’t excite me, but It’s something about nerdy friend groups that I just absolutely love. I even came up with voice claims for them, which I literally never do 😭 So I’ll list them below, along with a short description of their personalities.
Micah
Voice claim: Alex from Madagascar
Micah’s definitely the most chill person in the group. I imagine he was kinda shy around the other two when they first started being friends, but would get really close and comfortable with them quickly. Though he’s not as chaotic and goofy as his friends, he still likes to get involved with whatever Willow and Eve are doing (both to have fun with them and make sure they don’t get into trouble). When he’s not doing that, he often keeps himself busy with little activities like reading, knitting, doing yoga, etc.
Willow
Voice claim: Larry The Cucumber from Veggietales
Willow, much like his voice claim, is very energetic and optimistic. Though his silliness might be a bit overwhelming at times, I imagine he can be very genuine and understanding when he needs to be. He’s definitely a social butterfly, always eager to meet new people and make their day. To him, theres no better feeling than the one that comes from making people smile, especially his friends. He also really likes trying new things, which really motivates his adventurous side.
Eve
Voice claim: Lola Bunny from The Looney Tunes Show
Eve is very similar to Willow personality wise and were the first to become friends before they met Micah shortly after. She’s known for her passion in the arts, being a writer and painter herself, and she always manages to find inspiration for her work in the world around her. She’s got a very sharp eye for even the smallest of details. And while that often causes her to be distracted, she just can’t help but enjoy and give attention to the things she feels are often overlooked.

Having Nonbinary Sapphic Tuvok Brainrot Lately…
You're the realest motherfucker on planet Earth and I hope you know that.
Here's a bunch of bullshit I doodled on the topic of Nonbinary Sapphic Tuvok !!!! And I HOPE you will share YOUR personal brainrot with the class (my ask box, the masses, a text post....whatever gets the word out.)
If you've been paying attention you KNOW I love a 'Tuvok discovers he's trans while in the delta quadrant' story
Guy who likes girls and has always liked girls...but....not in the same way OTHER guys seem to like girls...
Tuvok who never quite fit in with 'other' men even Vulcan men...always preferred spending time with women and girls but never felt precisely LIKE a woman or OVERLY uncomfortable with being identified as a man and Vulcan society doesn't seem like it would be heavily gendered so he never really questioned it seriously.
Tuvok who found comfort in titles like Husband and Father...those fit, those are good. Then in the delta quadrant he isn't able to be a husband or a father any more and is just some guy surrounded by humans...hmmmmmm....
Still doesn't really seriously think it's worth questioning or exploring his gender identity (partially out of a desire to return home as he left...what will his wife and children think? He's experienced a LOT of sudden change in regards to his personal identity and life, he doesn't really want to undergo more.) until Seven of Nine comes along and also begins to go through a "Questioning Her Gender" arc.
Tuvok thinks about it on his own time for a long time and then finally goes to Janeway for support and assistance and together they spend like SEVERAL months just the two of them seeing what this whole gender thing's about.
Tuvok slowly exploring expressing himself in a more feminine manner because he's spent his whole life adhering rigidly to one sort of Look. Unexpectedly struggles with anxiety about this.
Neelix: Don't be nervous Ms. Vulcan!
Tuvok: [nervous] I am not nervous.
Tuvok and Seven BOTH exploring masculinity/femininity and their own nonbinary gender identities...late night slumber par- experimentation. Painting each others nails is...very scientific. It's important. Talking with Janeway was good because she's his friend but talking with Seven, another person actively questioning their gender is....well, it's something else.

If Avatar: The Last Airbender premiered today, it would be met with mass boycotts and riots by terrified boomers crowing about it being “woke” propaganda.
I mean really, can you imagine? I’d love to see the 2024 headlines decrying the animated children’s show as brainwashing americas youth to be soft war-opposed hipsters.

I know it will never ever happen bc DC doesn't wanna let anyone age anymore and none of the Titans are allowed to have children except Wally and sometimes Roy if we're lucky, BUT --
If Gar ever wound up with a daughter, I think he'd name her Rita

The only person ethical enough to use AI art programs is my partner's brother who solely uses it to put Jack Black in silly or cool situations and then just saves them to his phone in a private Jack Black vault like an eccentric millionaire god bless

I got way too many ideas for that Trollan "what if" series, I had to keep going. XD
This round is "secondary protagonists", not as major as the ones in the first picture, but still pretty recurring, and on the side of the heroes. This is where I decided the "gender flipping" could come into play. Considering how Trollans are pretty male-heavy in canon, I felt like that flipping some characters, mainly minor/hardly used ones, would work well. I went with Squonge, to go with a more "major" one, and then full-on taking a background character and changing them up. Torden's meant as the nameless Trollan Guard from "Dree Elle's Return".
Yukkers is Dree Elle's little brother. Far too young for both a title and a symbol, he's in the Trollan Magic Training School, basically the Trollan equivalent of elementary school. Thanks to their parents having such major and busy jobs, Dree Elle is almost always taking care of Yukkers for the weekend. While she loves her little brother, she's often at her wits end with him too. Because Yukkers is a prankster. Sure, he's good in school, and knows what he's doing with magic, but he would rather use these skills to pull pranks on others. Much to the ire of his tidy older sister, Yukkers loves all things gross and kind of creepy. From bringing creatures into the house to mud to Trash Pile Trollan trading cards, he is often the reason Dree Elle's house is never as clean as she'd appreciate it.
Squonge the Innovative never felt like she fit in with other Trollans. Skilled at magic, sure, but her interests were always in machinery, considered a weird and kind of taboo subject in Trolla. Always shy, she still wanted to make friends, even though that was never an easy task for her. So, she made up fantastic stories. Of course, basically nothing happened in real life in these stories, and it often got her in trouble, but it gave her attention, though not often the best. Despite this, she somehow managed to become the best friend of The Lost Trollan. Despite different magic tracks, they were ridiculously close friends, and he turned out to be one of the biggest confidence boosts Squonge needed. Despite still being considered "the weird one" due to her love of technology, she's using her skills to try and bring The Lost Trollan back. While on friendly terms with Dree Elle, she's also a bit jealous of The Lost Trollan's girlfriend, but she'd never say this. Conversely, Dree Elle is also somewhat jealous of The Lost Trollan's best friend, another thing she's never said.
Torden the Steadfast is a recent graduate of the Trollan Police Academy. The daughter of Warden Umpty, she was quickly put in a high position (not due to her father's nepotism, mind you), and now is the head guard of the Artifact Vault. Honestly, she's really nervous about this prospect. This is such a big job for her, and she's pretty sure she's going to botch it. While a lot like to think "nothing ever happens" in this job, she's certain everything happens in it. She's certain that something is going to be stolen, and all the blame will be put onto her. While tempted to look at the vast array of items that might be contained in these vaults, she's terrified of accidentally causing something catastrophic. After all, that Cosmic Storm years ago was such a bad one, what if something else worse happens if she just touches the wrong thing? She has found herself somewhat dragged into the cause of The Lost Trollan, but is unwilling to try any of the artifacts to try and help, despite a strong knowledge of them.

Trying to make a little project real that I've had in the backburner for god knows how long
I thought it'd be funny and cool if the park from Regular Show had a website dedicated to itself. To advertise and whatnot (I'm not a parkgoer, I wouldn't know why you'd check a park's website-). But it's something! And it's fun to make so far (I'll take it back when I have to code the damn thing)
I haven't done this sorta thing in a while, I'm a bit rusty at it. Nonetheless, I hope I can at least end up with some sort of blueprint or whatever it's called

A thing happens where I'll get into something that cultivates a very specific tone, but then in the sequel seasons/books/etc it switches. And maybe I would have liked that other tone if I wasn't expecting the original one but I came here for THAT tone and I'll always be sad that it isn't there anymore.

i love that the rise of the internet is contributing to theatre culture on a whole, especially with bringing eyes to certain off-broadway or underground productions (speaking more directly about ride the cyclone). but i am very annoyed by the internetification of theatre in the way of like. fandom culture and forcing these poor actors to be permanently related to certain roles and having to pull back the curtain on certain things that should just always remain a mystery, bc theatre is all about that mystery and of letting the audience sit down unaware and be immersed in something completely new

It's so fucking funny though how one stupid ass fan theory made Crocodile go from being just a neat OP character who was maybe in my Top 20 faves before jump directly into the #3 spot out of sheer storytelling potential
But because all of that sudden emotional attachment is based on a fucking fan theory, the second that theory's getting debunked I'm going to end up dropping this binch like
