A new FNaF official game has been in development for about a year, it will be a 10 Years Anniversary game according to Scott Cawthon himself!

The game is a pixel art rpg recreation of the non-canon short story "Into the Pit" from the first book of the same name of the "Fazbear Frights" series.

The developers are Mega Cat Studios.

This can open the possibility of even more stories being recreated by this company as games.

I don't think they'll ever be able to recreate all of them, but I can see the fan-favourites getting this treatment!

like just imagineee, the book left open ended right? a game adapt of it could expand on what comes next as a gameplay (heck even givin you the option to take Rab's invitation to go the plex after school or not too the way greg had a choice to leave or stay the plex in the base game)—with you tryin to hide and escape dr rabbit in the pizzaplex.... in pixel style that would be sooooo cool

It would also hella fit this story so well—like a story bout solving the mystery of this high score gamer in the arcades—being told and shown in pixel art style,,, like the ones you see in arcade games

Scott just confirmed we're getting a game based on "Into The Pit" for FNAF's 10th anniversary this year! In case you can't read his Reddit post above, it says:

"No need to keep it all hush-hush. It's okay! Yes, I was trying to keep it a secret for a bit longer, but now that it's out, that's fine. This game has been in development for a really long time, actually, and I'm really proud of the final product. It will be a 10th anniversary game! :)"

Color me intrigued for sure!
