I am continuously trying to push the mudslide agenda to get myself into the right mindset to put in the last 20-25k, so here we go again. (It's getting harder to pick stuff from it cuz like, there is a 20k Eddie pov that's just too spoilery to share just yet... sigh)

Buck’s breathing was rapid and loud and Eddie knew exactly how he felt; he knew the pointless, boundless anger that doesn’t seem to have a beginning or an end and so frustrating that you get angry all over again just from thinking about it.

It’s irrational, it’s agonizing; it’s almost physically painful.

It’s a lot.

Eddie became well acquainted with the feeling first after Shannon’s death, then after Buck’s — even if the latter didn’t end up being permanent, the unsoothable anger was there nonetheless.

Eddie could feel Buck starting to shake with it under his touch, spiraling with the furious energy that he had no way to channel.

“Alright Buck, hey.” He squeezed Buck’s trembling hand in his own and tugged on it a little. “C’mere, c’mere.”

I think we can agree that Bob is definitely a soft!dom and would tame you to a degree if you were being bratty. He might edge you a couple of nights until there’s tears spilling over your cheeks, but he’s not giving you the punishment Phoenix would.

Phoenix comes home through the door and you’re on her in an instant. You know you’ve done wrong and you’re peppering her face in kisses and telling her how much you missed her in the hopes to sway her.

Bob takes Phoenix’s bags and suggests you all sit on the sofa and catch up on what she’s missed. You go to sit on Phoenix’s lap but Bob clicks his tongue at you. “On your knees.”

You pout at Bob’s stern gaze. After getting away with it for so long you’re reluctant to follow his orders. You take one look at Phoenix’s raised eyebrow and you fall to your knees in an instant. “Now you want to follow my rules.” He grumbles. “Is that so?” Phoenix quizzes.

Bob doesn’t hold back and tells Phoenix every thing while she hooks her fingers under your chin and holds your gaze with a look that sends a shiver down your spine and the hairs on your arms stand up.

It ends up with Bob taking Phoenix on the couch. One of her boots is planted on the ground while the other is hooked over Bob’s shoulder. You’re desperately trying to rub yourself against her boot while she tugs at your hair, but the angle isn’t allowing you to get the friction you need.

You’re whining pathetically next to them and Phoenix just pats your cheek, rougher than usual and almost laughs in your face. “This is what brats get. They don’t get anything. They just get to watch.”
