You know what'd be really cool? A feedback exchange project.

Now, when I say feedback, I do mean feedback -- a commentary on both the weak and the strong points of a given work.

In my experience, nearly all (if not all) fanfic writers are riddled with a certain set of doubts about their own creations. Surely, it is nice to be praised, but... In my opinion, it is also nice to receive information that something could be improved and to be given insight of what possible paths could be chosen. After all, our own perceptions of things can be warped, as we experience the world only as ourselves and are personally attached to what we make.

Hmm... Or maybe that's just me. Oh well.

I did it! I finally redrew this project I did all the way back in 2017! You can find the original here. I’ve always loved Dirk’s and Lloyd’s bond, and I’m a sucker for stories of adopted parents. It’s so touching to me that Lloyd, even after finding out about Kratos, still sees and calls Dirk his dad. I need more content of them!!!!

I have started watching the german dub of phineas and ferb for fun (or should I say phineas und ferb)

- the va for german candace is pretty good. however I’m fairly sure she is also the va for stacy so whenever they’re together it sounds like she’s talking to herself. she does a good job with the craziness though

- german phineas is kind of annoying I don’t much care for his voice

- german ferb sounds nothing like the og

- german doof is good. idk I don’t have anything to say about him. I prefer the english voice of course (probably cuz I’m just used to it) and I think the spanish dub does a better job at sounding like the og but it’s not bad

- german baljeet sounds exactly the same

- I like the dubs of the songs. they even dubbed the quirky worky song which like they didn’t have to do that but it’s cool

- “perry das schnabeltier” is very fun to say

- the episode titles are mostly way different from the english titles. like for example “don’t even blink” is “der unsichtbare beweis” which translated to english means “the invisible proof.” kind of interesting

- update apparently they changed the name of gimmelshtump to “dunkeldorf” that’s hilarious

Base dynamics of the silliest trio ever.

Loop didn't know Odile was looping alongside Siffrin at first and fucking panicked and just. Didn't mention Sif at all to her. They then proceeded to fumble telling Sif about Odile. Cue Loop desperately balancing a distressed and terrifyingly perceptive researcher and a traveller who is fast approaching insanity. They are digging their own grave. It's going to be funny to watch.

Odile is desperately trying to understand why she's randomly looping through time, simply because it's entirely dependent on Siffrin so she has no reliable data. She's also trying to figure out what's up with Loop because they are incredibly concerning.

Siffrin. Wants Odile to stick to the fucking script. Because she keeps randomly acting off and it's screwing with the other actors. He is not enjoying her throwing off the rhythm. They also want to strangle Loop because they keep acting weird. Siffrin is not having a good time.

i think it's interesting because "down bad" sounds like it could be about any breakup, and taylor specifically describes it as an "alien encounter" and fictional. i think this is proof that folkmore & midnights were the biggest lunge forward for her creativity as a storyteller - using foundational inspirations (reality) to create the bridge to fiction. taylor has written about other people's experiences before, heavily fictionalizing reality on debut ("mary's song") and further expunged upon the ekphrastic in "love story" but folkmore and midnights were the first time it was explicitly fictional/exploring her own past creations.

"down bad" and "the albatross" and "cassandra" all utilize previous songwriting techniques of fictionalizing reality and creating with motifs to literature.

#me at 8 am: time to get pretentious about taylor's songwriting #like i see folks treating ''down bad'' either as fiction or as reality #when the real crux of it is that it's both #it's inspired heavily by her previous breakups but it explores it through a fictionalized lens #it's like taylor realized at some point she could do what she did with ''mary's song'' and ''starlight'' but for HERSELF #and i think it's why her songwriting has improved further

#micas art #enstars #ensemble stars #あんスタ #hinata aoi #yuta aoi #ive yet to share anything about this au with anyone but for context: this is my very loose take on a pmmm au #most of enstars' storyline goes the same but at certain points kyubey chimes in and offers a wish in exchange for help with fighting witche #in the twins' case he gets to hinata first some time before the setsubun disaster. he hasnt gotten to expose his feelings to yuta #and kyubey takes advantage of that to offer an easy solution to his issue! so hinata wishes to vanish from yuta's life and memories #in consequence yuta is left on his own without a single memory of hinata but a very strong sense that something is out of place #everything in his life seems to go fine: he gets along great with his classmates. he works hard to improve as an idol in school #but for some reason he cant seem to shake the feeling that the world has become a little too quiet and vast #that something is missing and not right #and so when kyubey approaches him offering miracles he chooses to follow his guts and wishes to find whatever's been missing from his side #i wont go into further details (bc this is getting really long djdjd) but id be happy to talk about it more!! #only other unit ive got finished stuff for is valk (4 pieces to be exact) but i plan on sharing these later so yeah!! enjoy this for now~
