Also last year he didn’t do race day he did Fri and Saturday. So he might being doing that again.

maybe, and i also have no idea what jarno's plans for this weekend are. maybe they're gonna be there doing it with a live audience and on twitch from, like, the fanzone, or something. the pitwall this weekend is also sponsored by the f1 game which i think is notable, y'know, high profile (amongst the gaming community which quadrant does represent (and i, a gamer, actually am probably getting the game, again), so getting quadrant to promote the game at the gp makes sense).

i think the reasons behind last year are different. max was in his no-drive slump so when it did come around to him joining quadrant and their plans for the gp, the only tickets he could get was for saturday (he wasn't there on friday). gbgp tickets go really quick and are pretty expensive (the most after monaco and probably miami iirc) and he also didn't have the balls to ask lando for a pass until miami this year, so i strongly think that was the situation last year.

max said he'd definitely be at silvo several times on stream, and quadrant organising something like they did last year is expected so it does kinda confuse me to why he's been positioned to be on the pitwall. maybe we'll find out in due course

(btw if you guys are wondering, the list he's given us for gps this year that he's going to is: silvo, brazil, singapre, abu dhabi, texas)

Babysitting Luke

It's quite late at night when Simeon comes to the House of Lamentation, his eyes apologetic and soft.

He explains that he's been called back to the Celestial Realm to take care of some important business, and he doesn't want to impose, but he needs to make sure Luke is safe while he's away...

Luke himself is pouting, huffing, and subtly sniffling. (He doesn't know why Michael wouldn't summon him too... what's so great about Simeon that he gets to go...?)

The human agrees more readily than the brothers do; unlike the brothers, they feel sorry for the little guy.

Simeon is very thankful, offers a charming smile and says he owes them one, and bows gratefully!

And so begins the human's week of looking after Luke... and honestly, it begins quite quietly.

Luke is sullen and refusing to talk at first because how dare Simeon leave him all alone, why would Michael not want to see him, why does he have to live with a bunch of demons?!

It takes some coaxing, but the human eventually manages to get him to talk about it. (The human's ears may be ringing afterwards; the little guy sure can shout when he's mad!)

There's no shortage of video games in the house - thanks, Levi - so they distract Luke by picking out a few and playing them together.

Sure enough, it cheers him up enough for him to apologise for his earlier behaviour!

He wants to bake them sweets the next day to make up for being sullen, but they find out about what he's doing.

So, they end up baking together instead! The human lets Luke teach them all about how to make cupcakes, letting the kiddo feel important and special.

The human will absolutely have to protect Luke from the brothers, who will try to tease him.

(Luke gains a newfound respect for the human after they tell Satan to stop holding books just out of his reach, after they tell Asmo to stop telling him to bark, after they tell Mammon to be nice to him...)

And, well... since it's the human and all... the brothers do listen and stay on their best behaviour.

...In front of the human, at least. They still make comments when they're not around... but Luke just snitches on them, and then they get another ear bending from the human.

When Simeon comes back, he comes bearing sweets from Michael himself as a gift for Luke, and an apology for being away for so long.

But honestly, the boy doesn't even mind! He had so much fun with the human, he doesn't even care that he didn't get to see Michael!

All in all, the week was great for both of them, with the human and Luke both agreeing that they're basically each other's new siblings.

...though the brothers are quite glad that it's over; they were tired of trying not to tease the kid, and real tired of being told off when they did--
