I admit, I am a sucker for her overall design and style. Of course, I also cherish her bravery, kindness and duty, but. Her visual design is just. So Good. and I am weak for redheads

To add to that, I love how her DT form pioneered the 'angelic' design and vision in DMC! It suits her perfectly, and I definitely love how dmc4 and Nero's DT in dmc5 doubled down on that foundation.

Also, we don't have that much of Lucia, which is good for female characters in Capcom games, they are safer than way.

I literally woke up in the middle of the night like God will dark rise is so fucking screwed. The line that’s like. “Everyone wanted to kill the Dark King.” What’s the part where he looks at Violet helplessly, haunted, almost pleading for mercy? But of course he reveals nothing of substance to anyone. Elizabeth is too young to understand but the reader knows what “Her relationship with that boy was…unnatural” can mean. Tying him to bedposts? Failing to strangle him? What else? Never not even once seeing beyond a mythological identity Will himself didn’t know he had? What did he think was the reason? That he was just intrinsically hateful? Of course he says nothing. Of course Violet can’t trust him- he’s given her nothing as painfully real as what she’s given him. So he gives her the sword hoping at least he can die at the hands of someone he loved, but even that doesn’t work out - she gives the sword to a Visander still furious at SARCEAN. The pattern continues; no one looks at Will, who vomits when he realizes what’s happened to James, Will who is much of a liar and killer and sneak as Elizabeth accuses but nonetheless wants to be different. Even when he doesn’t remember his own past. There’s no way out for him that doesn’t hurt. Hope this obsession passes soon given the one and a half years of waiting required for book 3

I really do think one of my best developments over the years in my characterizations and presentations of character dynamics and relationships is Chazz and Alexis evolving into having an almost brother/sister relationship to the point where in the majority of my fics and even spilling over into thoughts about my GX rewrites, she is fully and equally as willing to protect and throw herself to the wolves for Chazz as she is for Atticus if a situation presents itself where she feels the desire or the need to do so.

I actually really like that These Boots Were Made for Stalking wasn’t centred around Jimmy Jr and co for a change. Tina’s need to be around them and be friends with them has gotten stale over the course of the series and she never learns that they just. don’t like her as a group.

she has great chemistry with them all outside of the group, even the few episodes where she interacts with Jocelyn and Tammy outside of each other show that Jocelyn isn’t terrible, Tammy’s just a horrible influence, and Zeke seems to respect her and find her funny. JJu waffles too much. together they’re all terrible to her but individuals seem to mesh well.

seeing her interact with other teens and learning to just be herself is an important lesson for teenagers of today. knowing that you don’t have to bow to peer pressure and dress like someone else or listen to bands you don’t like is important to know and something I wish I’d known at that age
