These past three weeks i was totally obsessed with Time's always leaving (i love angelina/george and it's a blessing to see something written about them), and yesterday i finished reading the cruel summer series (which is another of my favorite ships!)

It makes me so happy that someone so talented writes about my favorite HP ships

I know we’re like two weeks into the new year, but could you do some headcannons on how George and Angelina celebrate the new year?

I was going to write a fic, but instead will just do a bullet list/stream of conscious thing here:

The first new years they spend together is in 94/95 after the Yule Ball and all that

They play quidditch and it’s really the first time they talk since Fred and Angelina snogged under the mistletoe

George was very upset about it and Angelina has a lot of conflicting feelings about the whole thing

But playing quidditch together makes them relax and as the day nears an end (along with the year) they let things go

And George kisses her at midnight while everyone is distracted (except Fred sees them and admits that George and Angelina are better together than he and Angelina could ever be)

Their second new years is 99/00, Angelina gets pregnant that night

They are both grieving the war and their lost family still

They spend the night together in bed and fall asleep to the muffled sounds of fireworks

After Freddie and Roxanne are born, they keep to a quiet night at home for a few years

They put their kids to bed and have a bottle of wine and just spend the night together

They always have their traditional midnight kiss

When Freddie and Roxanne start primary school, they either host a sleepover for them and their friends/cousins or send them over to a house

They let the kids celebrate with them, giving them juice and watching movies, but always sneaking away at or just after midnight for their kiss

Once the kids are Hogwarts age, Ron and Hermione start throwing a New Year’s party

It’s a way for the parents to blow off steam and also a safe space for the kids to party

George and Angelina are more than happy being the life of the party, everyone wants to be around them and join them in the joke/story/dance or whatever

They still have their kiss at midnight

The first year they have no kids at home, they end up babysitting their grandsons, and just like when their own kids were little, they put them to bed early and split a bottle of wine and have their new years kiss

Basically midnight means a new years kiss and then a lie in the next morning

my opinions on every harry potter ship i can think of (lightning era)

romione - literally my OTP, my comfort ship, i do not care what anyone else thinks of it, its amazing, fun fact: a romione fic was the first i ever read. 11/10

hinny - def a little rushed but i see them as like a “yes” kinda couple (if that makes sense) 9/10

drarry - EHHHHHHHHHHH it’d probably ship it id if draco could get everything sorted out cause he’s PROBLEMATIC 3/10 

pansmione - did they ever have one line of dialogue?  maybe they had ONE but just no. -10/10

dramione - so one of my best friends ship this but just no, the farthest i can go with it is draco had a  crush on hermione. i do not like this ship, and if you ship this i probably dont like you. -792561029847/10

blairon - im 99% sure they didnt have one line of dialogue. also i see ron as like the straightest one in the friend group (considering no one else ( shown ) in the books got the veela effect as much as he did 1/10

Georgalina: Naming their son Fred for it's-raining-punkpop.

The first thing that came out of George’s mouth when he held his newborn son in his arms was ‘oh’. Oh, how small he was, oh how beautiful, and oh, how much he looked like his father’s brother. Fred, who couldn’t be there the day that his twin’s son was born. Glancing down at the fragile bundle, already with a pretty thick head of ginger hair, he felt a predominant lump form in his throat at the thought.

Angelina was propped up against a mountain of pillows, her dark hair sticking to her forehead because of sweat, yet to George she had never looked as gorgeous. It was a rare moment of quiet within the Weasley family, just the two of them there with their baby. The doctors had left them alone in that moment, an exhausted Angelina and an emotional George, sitting beside her on the bed.

As he held their son, he leaned against her, his fingers reaching out to let his son wrap his tiny, tiny hand around it. “Oh Angie, he’s tiny. He’s perfect.” His eyes never moved from his son, taking in everything about him from the petite smile and his closed eyes.

“Thank Merlin he’s finally stopped crying.” Joked Angelina, stroking her fingers down George’s back gently. “And he’s not that tiny, not to the poor, poor woman who had to birth that little ginger monster.”

George couldn’t help grinning at her words as he gave their son’s tiny hand the gentlest of squeezes, hoping not to wake up the boy. “Already giving your mum, hell, aren’t you?” He glanced up at his wife, catching the scowl that went through her face, her hand shooting out with precision, punching him in the arm.

“You loser. He’s just like Fred and you, from what your mum’s told me.” As soon as she spoke, Angelina’s face softened and she kissed George on the back, seeing the way that her words had caused his shoulders to stiffen substantially. “George…why don’t we call him Fred?”

Following that moment, Angelina couldn’t remember a moment when George’s lips had been so desperate, so happy against her own.

Victoire huffed before gently handing Freddy back to George. Then she was sprinting into the kitchen to claim her apples. While Angelina slipped around the five-year-old and headed into the living room, George adjusted the baby in his arms. Angelina sat down next to him, damp hair curling up.

“You don’t have to hover over them all the time, you know,” she said. There was a mischievous tilt to her words that made him bristle slightly.

“I wasn’t hovering,” he sniffed. “And they could drop him.”

Angelina rolled her eyes. “I think you’re being a little dramatic.”
