I can't do much productively during the heat wave/health issue flare up/etc. like work on my games or anything where I have to sit at the computer/type for long periods of time, BUT.. I did passively sculpt a few tiny foods lol. I wanted to do one of my bigger usual sculptures, but those take so much more time and concentration, I thought something small just to keep my hands busy would be better.. close up photos look kind of weird and blurry from my camera settings or something, but overall they came out okay, especially in person.. Nearly the only reason I ever wanted to buy dolls as a kid was to get my hands on the miniature foods and plates and stuff that came with them, I've always just been obsessed with small versions of things like that, so.. why not make some! lol

I know.. it's the summer. of course it's warm #but WHYYYyy............. what if it just snowed all year around and was awesome and beautiful and i was so cold and could wear 25 blankets #at all times.. what about THAT hmm?? .. the ideal.. #anyway.. my favorite is the pomegranate and the mushroom maybe #The fig is hard because in the pictures of figs I googled a lot of them have that sort of white powdery type of thing on the outside #that grapes and plums and stuff have sometimes and it's hard to convey that weird like.. sheen.. plus the purple with almost powdery blue #and little lighter specks plus streaks of light green and a little orangey on some of them. #It's okay in person I think but this doesnt show up as much in pictures. The cheese also looks betterin person than images. you can't tell #the slight shine in the pictures lol. but the pomegranates look cool and also photograph decent.. hmm #I should have made toast with an egg on it or something. that would be a nice addition #OH ALSO ASPARAGUS MY BELOVED.. though they look a little wonky. the cuticle pusher tool that I sculpt with in leiu of any actual sculpting #tools has a kind of triangle edge that was suite for the little leaf details of the asparagus so that was cool. its like..ALMOST right lol

I'm shitting myself how badly I want to see Ubisoft just make a game where they throw every single previous character in a timeline together and let the chaos unfold. Like the premise is that Abstergo stored all the memories in the same server, and they're all stuck in there in a glitchy mismosh of every single Assassin's Creed game, and more characters just keep falling in and screwing up the world until it's like pyramids and desert directly next to a snowy forest and Jerusalem is sat right in the middle. Desmond just wanders around all the clashing biomes like a mysterious trader/omnipotent god. Altair still can't swim. Shay and Arno actually have to speak to each other. #buenos dias short people #tunic was like. i played to maybe halfway. took a months long break #when i picked it back up i didnt remember what i was doing so i started a new file and played like a third #months long break. but this time i resumed the second file and played through to the end #the game is very cryptic but starting over gave me a handle on the mechanics and what was important #outer wilds took like four tries even though i knew it would be good i just wasnt hooked #the game is about knowledge even more than tunic like knowledge is the whole deal and it comes slowly at first #but when it hit it really hit. god damn #please play outer wilds #spyro? um. it was good #i don't know that i took any big breaks from it? there were some but a couple weeks at most #spyro levels are not particularly complex. or content rich. and i really felt that 60 hours #playing the whole trilogy all back to back can really burn you out #its a collectathon you're bound to spend a good while just wandering around to find that one last thing you missed #and i didn't know i could left stick for sparx to point out the nearest gems until like halfway through 2 so that was a time waster #im not saying it wasn't a good game but spyros moveset is like. glide fire charge and you do this for three games #until they throw in random nonspyro playable characters in 3 and they all control really bad and weird. but its still mostly spyro #i could have taken big breaks between each game and it would've been better probably but its a collection im gonna roll to the next one

I'm having feelings over the fact that the most selfless thing Kim Dokja could do is to live, wholly, as himself, in good health and with the people he loves most, who love him the most. How everyone gets to be angry at him for leaving, angry at the world for taking him away, and yet that anger can never have a real target so his companions become angry at themselves. I really enjoyed the range of emotions displayed from all the supporting and side characters, how they each got time for us to see how they react to their world ending once with the apocalypse, and then again and again when they become devoted to a man who loves them to death and back. And they just. Keep going. None of them want a world without Kim Dokja but they live through it anyways and they carry on, day by day, year by year, yelling, crying, playing pranks on each other, sharing stories with each other, fighting each other, fighting for each other.

for a romhack thats supposedly about darkrai, eots is reallyyyyyyyy obsessed with chatot. it also reallyyyyyyyy hates chatot.

#we gave the game an unreliable protagonist and narrator who is meant to be kinda terrible bc this is an ‘’off’’ take on the game #meant to feel uncanny and its supposed to be uncomfortable and creepy when the guild members reject you for your behavior #but god chatot is apparently sooooooo nasty and evil and lazy and corrupt we gotta introduce a whole new guy #just to back up the hero that yep!!! hes evil incarnate and nasty!! #the hero is unreliable except for when we wanna vent abt the characters we dont like #its not even that i like chatot and want to defend him it just feels so exhausting and weird #like i thought this was about darkrai why are you spending all these scenes talking about how chatot is horrible and mean #im sorry im not over brelooms backstory. its supposed to be unfair and gross and ik he didnt exactly deserve to get evicted or anything #but seriously???? it comes across like a teen throwing a fit that his mom asked him to do the dishes for one night #and then got upset when the dishes werent done the next morning and asked their mom why she didnt just suck it up and do them #i feel like a factor here is that people forget that the apprentices arent kids. even hero and partner while implied to be young can be seen #as young adults but everyone else comes across like an adult to me. so its not like theyre exploiting babies #echoed voice #it sucks bc other than this i like this romhack quite a bit! i think the stuff with hero is really interesting #i like the second timeline i like the uncomfortable changes i like how you actually make partner worse as an inversion to the vanilla game #but when the chatot stuff happens it takes me out of it. free my man he did some bullshit but not all that
