"Evidence that Pokémon once familiar to us have been spotted in the various dimensions linked together by Ultra Space, in the same way that Ultra Beasts have been spotted in our own dimension. Upon falling through an Ultra Wormhole, these Pokemon become bathed in a strange energy that seems to facilitate rapid changes and adaptations needed to survive in their new environments, among other speculated effects. We have dubbed them "dimensional forms," though internally we use the code name "ultra variant," or "UV" for short."
-Aether Report excerpt
It seems that when exposed to the bizarre lands of Ultra Space, Eevee's evolutions take on new forms. I wonder what other strange forms we have yet to see! More info coming soon!
*More detailed lore later, but as a brief explanation on each one's inspirations:
-Vaporeon: polluted water, plastic debris and its impact on animals, mutations, oil and water don't mix
-Jolteon: overcharged long boi, they run through the skies and leave lightning trails behind them
-Flareon: explosive smoke cloud and shrapnel
-Umbreon: black holes and new moons because of Ultra Megalopolis's darkness theme
-Espeon: wise and (slightly) wrinkly sphynx cat with a 3rd eye
-Leafeon: bulky and ferocious tiger, stripes inspired by beta Leafeon
-Glaceon: bleached coral and asymmetry
-Sylveon: shinto shrine maidens and shide (zigzag paper streamers)

The sun has risen!  Ultra Necrozma is by far one of my favorite if not my favorite pokemon. Whats not to like? Dragon? The Sun? Cool Alien? Sun and Moon for the 3DS? its got the whole package! The entirety of its body is literally radiating cool, and probably gamma rays, don't stand too close.
But with this entry we have drawn to a close, all that is left is a group shot of all UBs for scale and the series is done! Thank you all so much for your support, and there will be more to come, i have plenty of other pictures I have worked on too!

The Light Trio & the Ultra Beyond
What is Ultra Space and the Ultra Beyond?
The multiverse is filled with an unquantifiable number of dimensions, with many connected to each other in complicated webs of cosmic confusion. One of these many cosmic webs of interconnectedness, is the region of space-time called Ultra Space, which is home to its own assortment of dimensions, timelines, and universes. The Ultra Beyond, as it is also sometimes called, is home to its own assortment of Pokémon-like creatures called Ultra Beasts. Importantly, Earth is not part of the Ultra Beyond.
Overview
The Light Trio are legendary beasts of extraterrestrial origin, who embody the emission and absorption of light. They are many of these beasts, who hail from a dimension other than our own: Ultra Space. Each member of the Light Trio (Solgaleo, Lunala, and Necrozma) are fantastically powerful guardians of the multiverse who bring (and take) light from the worlds that they inhabit, and each is fully capable of creating Ultra Wormholes to traverse the multiverse. All three of the Light Trio start their lives off as Cosmogs, who eventually evolve into Cosmoem, and later into one of the three. The first Cosmogs were created by a Lord of Space (Dialga) and a Lord of Balance (Zygarde), who agreed that the multiverse needed guardians who could maintain balance on a cosmic scale, and thus the first Cosmogs were created by the powers of Dialga and Zygarde combining. It is because it was Zygarde who helped make the first Cosmogs, instead of Xerneas, that Cosmoems are even able to become Necrozmas, who is the natural balancer of the other two.
Cosmogs are created through the combined powers of a Solgaleo and a Lunala—though, it is possible for a Necrozma to create a Cosmog with either a Solgaleo or a Lunala, this just rarely happens. In fact, Cosmoems evolving into Necrozma are incredibly rare, and what triggers this evolution is unknown—it may simply be that the needs of the multiverse are unbalanced, or it may be something else entirely, perhaps a dark evolution, perhaps another third or even fourth possibility.
Cosmogs are often birthed, intentionally, on worlds outside of Ultra Space.
There are many Solgaleos, Lunalas, Cosmogs, and Cosmoems through the multiverse, and at least one Necrozma somewhere.
Their wormholes are called Ultra Wormholes for their propensity to return to the Ultra Space Dimensions, and how greater effort must be exerted to travel to dimensions and worlds that are not part of Ultra Space. Traveling outside of Ultra Space is much easier for Solgaleo, Lunala, and Necrozma, though in general they have a preference for staying within their home region of space-time, where their powers are most effective for trans-dimensional traveling.
Cosmog (#789)
General Information: Also known as “The Child of the Stars” Cosmog is an infant stage to the incredibly powerful Light Trio. They are frail and easily blown away by a strong breeze, though its carefree nature rarely seems too bothered by this. Its body is largely gaseous, though its able to retain its own shape with its own innate magic.
Cosmogs are incredibly small, only 8 inches tall (0.2 M) and weighing 0.2 pounds (0.1 kg) thanks to their gaseous bodies.
Cosmogs slowly absorb gases from its environment in preparation for evolution. It will eat if offered food.
Divinity: (Infant) God
Heritage: Zygarde and Dialga
Divine Role: To become a guardian of the multiverse, a Bringer of Light
Place in the Wheel of Reincarnation: While Cosmogs do not specifically contribute to the Wheel of Reincarnation, should all members of its family be erased from existence, then more would be created by the Dialga and Zygarde that first birthed them.
Personality: Cosmogs are curious, amicable sorts with no instinctive fears of predators or worldly dangers, and are thus also immensely trusting to anyone who shows it kindness. They are rather like babies of any other living thing: needy, head-strong, clueless, absurdly curious, and weirdly loveable with child-like wonder.
Role Amongst Humanity: Cosmog is a creature of myths, rarely seen on Earth. There are legends surrounding it and its ability to create Ultra Wormholes and the powers that it contains, even folktales of the mighty creatures it can turn into.
Special Rules: Cosmog can create 1 Ultra Wormhole per month, however it is unable to control its powers and whatever wormhole it does create will take you to a random dimension within Ultra Space. Should this power be utilized, it will leave your Cosmog fully incapacitated and unable to do battle or defend itself. Be careful.
Additionally, Cosmogs can teleport from danger in a pinch—once a day Cosmog may teleport away from danger, up to 1000 feet away! This is separate from its ability to use the move Teleport.
Cosmoem (#790)
General Information: Also known as the “Cocoon of the Stars,” Cosmoem is the evolution of Cosmog at level 43. They are fully incapable of movement or eating. The only reason anyone is ever seen carrying a Cosmoem, is because it itself is able to levitate enough for someone to carry it safely. This ability can be turned off at any moment it chooses.
Its shell is the strongest substance in the universe. It is possible to bend the material into other shapes, but it cannot be destroyed except through evolution or by Arceus itself. When it evolves, it gains either an orange, purple, or white aura depending on which Light Trio it is evolving into (orange for Solgaleo, purple for Lunala, and white for Necrozma).
As they sleep, they are as motionless as the dead. Its body is faintly warm to the touch. As it sleeps, it continues to absorb dust and starlight in preparation for evolution.
Cosmoem is 4 inches tall (0.1 M) and its body is incredibly dense, weighing a whopping ton at 2,205 pounds (1000 kg).
Divinity: (Cocoon) God
Heritage: Zygarde and Dialga
Divine Role: To become a Bringer of Life, a guardian of the multiverse
Place in the Wheel of Reincarnation: While Cosmoem does not play a role in the Wheel of Reincarnation, its importance to the maintenance of the multiverse is so important that should all members of its family be destroyed, the Dialga and Zygarde that first birthed them will create new Cosmogs.
Personality: Cosmoems have about the most uninteresting personality in the multiverse. They are asleep, steadily absorbing strength in preparation for evolution, and do not interact with its environment.
Role Amongst Humanity: Cosmoems are rarely depicted in human folklore. When they are, they are enigmatic objects of incredibly density—but in ancient fantasies, legendary warriors are described as having armor or shields made of the same stuff as Cosmoem’s shell, called Cosmoium.
Special Rules: Cosmoem is vaguely aware of its surroundings as it sleeps, just enough to decide whether it will levitate or not for its caretakers to transport it. Otherwise, it is incapable of battle, movement, or communication. In the games, Cosmoem evolves at level 53, however with it unable to battle, level-up is instead earned through narrative milestones. In the anime, Cosmoem is only able to evolve when the Island Guardians perform a blessing ritual on it. Do with this information as you please. However the Game Master decides Cosmoem will evolve, the newly hatched Solgaleo/Lunala/Necrozma will be at least level 53.
Solgaleo (#791)
General Information: Solgaleo is one of the final evolutions of Cosmog and Cosmoem, known as “The Beast That Devours the Sun.” It is a being composed of light. It is capable of lighting the darkest nights, bringing light to worlds covered in darkness. It is capable of creating wormholes in its Radian Sun phase, when its third eye activates.
It stands around 11’2 feet tall (3.4 M) and weighs 507.1 pounds (230 kg).
Divinity: God
Heritage: Zygarde and Dialga
Divine Role: The Bringer of Light, a Guardian of the Multiverse and of the Ultra Beyond
Place in the Wheel of Reincarnation: As with Cosmog, should all members of its family be destroyed, new Cosmogs would simply be birthed by the Dialga and Zygarde that first birthed them. Their role in maintaining balance across the multiverse is irreplaceable.
Personality: Solgaleo is strong and proud, but from there its personality traits differ to widely from each individual.
Role Amongst Humanity: Solgaleos are featured rarely in Earth’s folklore, but when present they are likened to the sun. Some cultures believe Solgaleo to be the Sun God and revere it. Others believe it the emissary of the Sun, the Beast That Devoured The Sun, and more. They are widely beloved and revered. It is also believed to be the inspiration for the alchemical lion, described as “devouring the sun,” as well as generally being the inspiration for the Western and Middle Eastern association with suns and lions.
Special Rules: Solgaleo can create Ultra Wormholes that it uses to go to and from Ultra Space. This power can also be used to travel to other dimensions if necessary, though this requires far more effort and can only be done once a day.
Lunala (#792)
General Information: Lunala is one of the final evolutions of Cosmog and Cosmoem, the “Beast That Calls The Moon.” Its body is composed of light, though it itself absorbs light and can bring about darkness even in the brightest days. When in its Full Moon phase, when its third eye activates, it is capable of creating wormholes and Ultra Wormholes.
Lunala is 13’01 feet tall (4 M) and weigh 264.6 pounds (120 kg).
Personality: Lunala are often quiet and kind, but powerful. From there, their individual personalities vary too much for a concise summation.
Role Amongst Humanity: Lunala is perceived as the emissary of the moon. While it does not appear often in human folklore, when it does, it has inspired many cultures to perceive it as the God(dess) of the Moon, the personification of night, the Beast That Calls The Moon. It is seen as benign, a protector and a guardian deity.
Special Rules: Lunala can create Ultra Wormholes that it uses to go to and from Ultra Space. This power can also be used to travel to other dimensions if necessary, though this requires far more effort and can only be done once a day.
Necrozma (#800)
General Information: Necrozma is one of the final evolutions of Cosmog and Cosmoem, but its existence is rare. It is stronger in any of its forms than either Solgaleo or Lunala, who’s true form, its Ultra Form, earns it the name of the “Blinding One.” While Solgaleo personifies the day, and Lunala the night, Necrozma personifies White Holes and Black Holes. In its True Form, Necrozma exudes light from every fiber of its body, giving it freely and plentifully, but should its gift be used and extorted, its body injured and broken, then it becomes its Broken State. In its Broken State, Necrozma is immense, maddening, pain. It will absorb the light of any world it enters, plunging that world into darkness until its stolen light is returned. In practice, this manifests as magically blocking out that world’s star(s), stealing all of the light that it emits.
In its Broken State, Necrozma will hunt down its counterparts, Solgaleo and Lunala, in an effort to steal the light that emits limitlessly from their bodies. It can even fuse with Solgaleo and Lunala to parasitize their bodies and become Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma respectively.
Divinity: God
Heritage: Zygarde and Dialga
Divine Role: Necrozma is supposed to be a Bringer of Light, but its capable of becoming the Pillager of Light instead, should something happen to it.
Place in the Wheel of Reincarnation: Necrozma is one of the guardians of the multiverse, and whether a particular individual is acting like it or not does not change this. Should Necrozma and its entire family be eradicated, then the Dialga and Zygarde that first birthed them would simply create new Cosmogs.
Personality: Necrozma are, at their core, givers of light, who seek to protect the multiverse and their home of Ultra Space, too. But should something awful happen to it, and it falls from its Ultra Form to its Broken State, then Necrozma becomes a pillager of light as it tries in vain to absorb as much light as it can to eliminate its maddening pain and restore itself to its Ultra Form.
Role Amongst Humanity: Necrozma’s role amongst humanity varies drastically, depending on whether your campaign has it in its Ultra Form or its Broken State. Whatever is chosen, please know that Z-power only exists because the stones are actually shards of Ultra Necrozma’s body after it becomes Broken State Necrozma.
Special Rules: Broken State Necrozma is capable of parasitizing either Lunala or Solgaleo who’s health has been brought to zero. It then becomes Dusk Mane Necrozma (Solgaleo) or Dawn Wings Necrozma (Lunala). To undo this, Dusk Man/Dawn Wings Necrozma must be knocked out, thus freeing its grip on the Lunala or Solgaleo.
Necrozma is also fully capable of creating wormholes and Ultra Wormholes at will.
Rules for the Mythology Section: All Pokémon listed exclusively under the mythology sections are entirely uncatchable by conventional means. Pokémon Trainers are not able to catch these Pokémon because they are gods and eldritch beings. Only Pokémon Rangers have a chance at taming these beings.

If I can real with y'all, the one idea that I really wanna see TPC and Gamefreak tackle for a future Pokemon game is one where they expand on the lore and concepts made for the Ultra Beasts, as well as Ultra Space as a whole. As much as I wish these games wouldn't be rushed out for the holidays, I feel like bringing in Ultra Space as the main focus of something like a future Legends game could be awesome to see. It's the ONE thing that I'd be hoping to see announced during a Pokemon Presents or something. Legends: Ultra needs to happen dammit!

"To assist with their work, employees will be supplied a starter Ultra Beast from the Ultra Recon Squad. Pictured are the Poison-type UB Adhesive, the Ground-type UB Tectonic, and the Grass-type UB Luminant."
-Aether Report excerpt
More info to come! But for now, which of these 3 will you choose, dear employee? (I promise I won't take it personally if you like Poipole over my designs lmao)

IS IT JUST ME OR DID POKEMON COMPLETELY FORGET THEY MADE NONHUMAN SAPIENT SPECIES CANON? THE ULTRA RECON SQUAD ARE DEFINITELY NOT HUMAN. ULTRA MEGALOPOLIS HAD SO MUCH POTENTIAL BUT ALL YOU COULD EXPLORE WAS A SINGULAR STREET OF IT. THERE WAS SO MUCH WASTED POTENTIAL THERE WITH ULTRA SPACE I REALLY HOPE WE GET TO REVISIT IT IN THE FUTURE. THEY JUST INTRODUCED A WHOLE ALIEN CIVILISATION AND NEVER MENTIONED IT AGAIN. GAMEFREAK WHAT THE FUCK. THE ULTRA RECON SQUAD ISNT EVEN IN THE ANIME EITHER.

Would you say Ultra Necrozma was a good leader? Or were they sorta meh? (Assuming they were seen as a sort of leader or god in Ultra Space)
Meh because he sometimes used his leader power for his own desire. For example, in USUM game he opened the wormhole to Alola to welcome all Ultra Beast to attack Alola and that's so terrible. Sometimes Ultra Beasts want to attack him for using them
But he also good too because he gave lights to the world of Ultra Space and because of that Poipole and Naganadel respect him (anime)
So both he can be...🤔

Open Your Eyes - JAN04/2023
So I got an art tablet and I was testing it out, and I wanted to finish this drawing of Luna, my Alolan Pokemon trainer OC, because it looked kinda cool, and I ended up going a bit ham with the lighting, but I feel like that was inevitable from the moment I decided it would be a faceoff with Ultra Necrozma. I had a lot of fun playing with the reflections like in the Poke Ball and especially the shades, where each lens is a reference to the USUM boxart, and the light's rainbow aura on the ground, which is green in the middle where Luna is and fades to the Sun/Moon colors on the edges.
Also, I've never drawn Luna's eyes before; they're always closed even when you can see behind the shades. Coming up with their design was fun, buuuut I had too much fun making lighting effects and now I need a lore reason for her eyes to be all glowy like that. Looks cool though.
Anyways, hopefully I can use this tablet to get things done a bit easier. Also I updated my art tag to ygsv, I'll go back and retag my stuff later.

so i was thinking abt ultra beasts earlier and i want y'all's thoughts 0_0 !
poipole is implied to be an equivalent to a starter pokemon in ultra space, which means there's got to be Other Ones right. i was initially gonna try and figure out what the typings of two other starters would be, but there's no good rock-paper-scissors-esque trio with poison or dragon. so i was like ok what do i do Instead .
well ultra space clearly has lots of different rules so why not break more of the ones we know!! starter pokemon have three stages and come in trios, but poipole is a two stage line. so why not only have starters in pairs?? so now we're getting somewhere :)
but i didn't want the duo to be like, one is super effective against the other, bc that would be stupid. instead i looked at naganadel's poison/dragon typing and said ok how about typings that might compliment that mechanics wise.
ULTIMATELY i came up with ice/grass in my brainstorming earlier. primary ice type since primary grass is a normal pokemon thing. but why these types specifically?!?!?!
poison and ice have no type advantage or disadvantage in relation to each other, but when each starter evolves, they've got this cool thing where one of their types is super effective against the other. so like we've got the mystery starter's ice beating out naganadel's dragon, but naganadel's poison beats out the other's grass typing!
so now that i have that im just thinking of what to do with the other starter thematically. poipole is clearly like a funky glue gun dragon, so maybe the other starter's design and all could revolve around a pair of scissors? like a funnie arts and crafts danger duo :)
that's all i have for now aside from the idea of the mystery starter having a similar color palette to poipole's! but like instead of purple and pink with blue accents like, do blue with purple and pink accents or something to that effect
