hello hello, and welcome to my page, aka the place where I'll either be screaming into the void or writing about ninja turtles to spark the happy feels! i'm not the best writer, but i hope you'll stick around to see where this goes ᡣ𐭩

my name's calypso (or callie, for a shorter version), and I've been on tumblr for awhile, on different accounts, but i never really actually sat down and engaged with everything. I love music (my spotify will be linked here, if you wanna see what I listen too), making ocs, the color pink, and about another hundred things!

I don't really watch movies, but I have a few comfort shows I always keep in my back pocket for rainy days, but my all time favorite is, of course, tmnt. bayverse specifically brings me a lot of comfort, and that's why I'll be writing for that mainly on this blog ^^

I like to think I'm a very friendly person, so feel free to comment, dm, and @ me in things as you see fit ^^ I love making new friends, especially if you also like tmnt

most of the time, I'll only really write smut and angst as I feel like whenever I write fluff it's drawn out and boring, but I'll still try to write it sometimes!

one of my favorite things to write is romance, so expect much of that, and sometimes I'll repeat tropes and stuff ): so if you have a specific kinda thing you wanna see/read, please ask in my inbox (not my dms please) and I'll get onto it ^^

whenever I do write smut, the characters are 18+ of age, either aged up via a timeskip or later on in a series, or simply because they are already above that age, I will not write smut for characters that look underage but are 'actually many many of thousand of years old' as I find it uncomfortable to do so (that whole trope kinda weirds me out)

Happy New Year Shels! Hope 2023 treats ya well 💜🥳

We’re starting this new year with multiple ideas:

1)I’m still feeling the Christmas vibes so what do we think the d/s au got for Christmas? Were our subby boys rightfully spoiled for Christmas? Zoning in on poly!piarles for this one. So bunny got to spend Christmas Eve with you and Pierre alone so you were able to exchange gifts that day. The boys got matching plugs with mommy’s initials. Maybe some new toys and after care products. Some new pretty lingerie for everyone. Maybe some new heels. Also some more sentimental gifts like matching bracelets/rings that have slight variations to make it special and more tailored to the individual. Our lovely boys combined their one brain cell to make mommy a Christmas card and little painting (abstract 💜). And the Christmas with the family. But it’s ok, cause you guys had your own quiet Christmas

2)We know kitty Nyck loved playing with the wrapping paper for Christmas but what about fox Lando. I just know my boy created the BIGGEST mess tearing it up and throwing it up like confetti. Squealing and giggling the whole time. Fully body wiggles and happy dance. Zoomies must commence. Then he got bored when he finally shredded it all up into even smaller pieces and now mommy must give him all her attention. Additionally, lando got toys and a treat launcher for Christmas. He loves mini marshmallows.

3)Subs going into the new year with their new years kisses and little traditions. Georgie seemed to be very into the grape tradition. 🍇 If the littles were there they might have been a little scared of the fireworks cause they’re loud and scary. But then they realize they’re also really pretty. So thank goodness for ✨noise canceling headphones✨. Thought of little Mick for that one. And to make sure it’s a happy new year for little mick, it is now cannon that Angie isn’t afraid of fireworks. So she’s down for all the cuddles 🥰

Okay you sent another ask saying you meant to add that you’re 🧬 anon, so 🧬 anon: you are a fucking genius. All these thoughts are incredible and I’m gonna chat a little bit about each one because I love them all :))

IDEA ONE:

I love the idea that for the poly!piarles verse, you guys have your own quiet Christmas before going to your families. It’s definitely something you and Pierre planned together because you knew it would make your bunny so happy. And it did!! He’s so excited for his little Christmas with you. To be honest he’s more excited for that than for actual Christmas, but his family doesn’t need to know that.

The plugs with your initials would make Pierre and Charles just melt. It’s a surprise for both of them and neither of them can function, just melt into a little cuddle pile holding their plugs because they have the best Dom ever!! Especially Pierre, who loves to feel owned.

I think the matching bracelets would be from Charles? Of course he got Pierre’s opinion on your own and your opinion on Pierre’s one, not telling you that he had also gotten one for you. But he honestly spend so much time choosing them and spared no expense, because it’s for his mommy and his Pierre!! And he buys himself one too, because he so badly wants matching ones.

The little painting from Pierre and Charles is so cute! Well no, no it’s not. It’s terrible. But it’s the thought that counts!! They make it themselves because they want you to have something that is handmade by them.

(Charles eventually takes up knitting because he wants to make you and Pierre sweaters and the first ones are fucking horrible but you and Pierre treasure them all).

IDEA TWO:

Oh god it’s absolute CHAOS for fox!Lando. Pure fucking chaos.

Unlike with Nyck, you don’t actually plan on letting Lando play with the wrapping paper because you’re certain that would be our chaos. However, as Lando is Lando, he finds the bag filled with the wrapping paper from the morning unwrapping gifts.

You just laugh when you realise he’s found it. Because oh god. He’s about to chaos fucking chaos. But oh well. You let Lando be a happy little fox for you, so of course he’s gonna make a mess with the wrapping paper.

He shreds the paper as much as possible, until it’s physically impossible to shred it anymore and then he comes to you with little bits of wrapping paper in his hair and on his clothes because now you must entertain him!!!

IDEA THREE:

Yeah some little would LOVE the fireworks!! They don’t like the noise, but as long as they have noise cancelling headphones then they’re so happy. You just have to hold their hand the entire time so that you can squeeze it if you need their attention.

Mick loves it so much!!! They’re so cool and so pretty and he has so much fun. He wasn’t originally planning to regress, and he didn’t for most of the evening. But then right before the fireworks start, you and Mick climb to the top of the yacht you’re on with friends and it’s just the two of you watching the fireworks together. That’s when Mick regresses. He squeezes your hand and smiles at you, letting you know he’s little and you pull him into your arms for the show.

Max also loves it, but he watches from the safety of his apartment in Monaco. He has no intention of actually going to a party. He just stays in with you and watches all the pretty fireworks.

Also, George and Charles are both very scared of both the noise and the bright lights and they stay indoors.

The chakras are composed of seven main energy centers in the body, extending from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. When our chakra system is in balance, we are in harmony with the universe. We are better connected with both our inner and outer world.

Let’s take a deep dive into the third eye chakra, or ajna chakra.💜

The ajna chakra is the chakra of intuition, judgment and discernment - it is your conscious choice maker. This energy center is where your insight and intuition rests—and it’s located in the middle of your lower forehead, between your eyes and up a bit.

Throughout history, there has been a distinct relationship between the third eye and mystical or spiritual properties. As this chakra awakens, we truly begin to see, and our judgment heightens. The bigger picture guides our perceptions and our selections. When this chakra is constricted or energy is blocked in any way, we make conditioned, knee-jerk decisions out of fear or desperation; we question our choice-making; and we stop trusting that the Universe will deliver us to exactly where we need to be.

Color = Purple

Mantra = Shaam

Element = Light

Location = Center of the forehead, between the eyes

How to balance or open our third eye chakra? 💜👁️

Mantra: 📿🙏

The ancient vibration or seed mantra for the sixth chakra is Shaam. Let’s awaken that aspect of our being and let Shakti awaken our conscious choice-maker by envisioning a ball of light at the center of your third eye, placing your fingers on that space, taking a long, slow, deep breath in, and chanting the vibration SHAAM long and loud as we exhale. Can you feel your third eye opening?

Foods to eat: 🍆🍇🫐

Purple foods such as purple kale, cabbage and eggplant - as well as purple fruits like grapes and berries! Also, any “brain foods” - as your third eye is truly associated with the center of your brain, so a variety of healthy fruits and vegetables, and more will help you see with more clarity and focus.

Yoga pose to support:♂️🧘

Inversions are great for the third eye, as they bring blood flow to the brain/head. Enjoy downward dog and take ten long slow deep breaths here - or get cozy into Child’s Pose and let your third eye relax onto the yoga mat. what kind of cake did you make!!! I didn't make a single cake in 2022 but I've been missing the drama of it all so maybe this is the year! My sister's boyfriend loves cake and chocolate and ultimately seems to have the palate of a child so maybe if our schedules and paths collide during his birthday (they live in a different state), I'll bake him a rich chocolate cake like the one bruce is made to eat as punishment in matilda (it's also just always been a dream of mine to try something like it — two birds, one delicious stone 🎂) I'm all cookied-out from christmas so I didn't bake anything for NYE, just went with a classic charcuterie moment, popcorn made with ghee, & ofc grapes at midnight 🧀 🍇

I just did my lil december recap w imo so those are all my most recently finished reads, but currently I'm maybe a third of the way through The Dylan Dog Case Files 🧟‍♂️ I'll probably read another issue today and then later start Nobody Knows My Name by James Baldwin — I have his collected essays and the papers are so paper-thin like a bible (probably to save money/density since it's 800+ pages) so I'm pretty cautious when I read from it bc I worry about tearing a page simply by turning it too fast😟📖 although I'd love to see bezos burned at stake I do unfortunately adore my kindle & would totally recommend u ask for one next birthday/holiday 🎁 I actually asked for a refurbished one specifically, partially bc it's cheaper but also bc I've become more conscious about e-waste throughout my adult years of consumerism 🚮 I think it was $70-$80 and it works perfectly - I already have like 15 books (and I'm talkin thick ass books) downloaded so far and I haven't even made a dent in my storage — the possibilities are endless ‼️

ANYWHO Im obvi late on weighing in, but all those options sound so pretty so I'm sure whatever u chose turned out beautiful 💅 I was thinking about doing little metallic stars but I didn't find a pocket of extended patience throughout the day to execute it so I ended up not painting my nails at all 😴 I've been in this Almodóvar state of mind lately so I've kind of been craving a classic sultry red, but then I think about the inevitable horrors that come with removing red nail polish (isn't it supposed to be the hardest to remove? Or is it blue? I happen to love both 🥀)
