CUSTOM VS. STOCK HAGSTROM FANTOMEN

from @aliendisco-arts' ask, but I wanted to make it a separate post, including a second chart for versions used by each ghoul that played/plays the fantomen, requested by @genderlessghoul. the second one is more about the visible difference though, because I can't be sure about some technical specifics from photos alone.

don’t get me wrong I love a good folk punk song but I’m starting to think these guys make sure their guitars are as out of tune as possible on purpose

#is there a specific guide for how to 'tune' a guitar to optimal folk punk discordance or are they playing super secret Evil chords?#somehow I ended up watching a live recording of a 2007 pat the bunny show and the Vibes were wonderful but I couldn't get through the song #theres a certain frequency thats just kryptonite to my ears and unfortunately that did it #tbh not sure if it was the song or just the shitty mic of whatever camcorder it wouldve been recorded on
