"See how I laugh at you.." and the scream is from Demo 4, everything else is from the official version

Tw for loud noise/scream and just..general discomfort I guess? TME is by design an unnerving song.

(Lore Diaries 01)

*the lore diaries are gonna be a little mini “series” explaining the lore of various characters in the au!!*

Paradise (also occasionally nicknamed Bora) is an angel who helps the recently deceased and guides them/helps them understand what happened!

He is a part of a group known as The Galactic Elite. (there are five main angels/beings who are in charge of protecting various species and beings, some of them are in charge of galactic things!)

Poppy Kealoha in a field of pua kala - the only type of poppy native to Hawaii 🌸

I’ve had this idea in mind for a while but was holding off on making it until AAPI month since I thought it’d be a nice tribute to the beauty of Hawaii. That being said I don’t really have any more H:PII related art ideas right now & my brain’s not in peak hyperfixation mode so this will probably be my last big H:PII art post for a while. the amount of support and positive feedback that I’ve seen about Caitlin & my H:PII shirt merch is astounding!! it was unbelievably cool when Caitlin’s draft idea got picked up by the MM team, and even more unbelievable that I was commissioned to make her idea into the finished design. I’m so thankful to have been involved in making this real, and I’m just so happy that other H:PII fans seem to love it as much as I do! 🤍🌈🌴

P.S.: If you ordered one, I encourage you to look extra closely at the moon on the shirt ;)

I started compiling info on Miracle Musical into a single doc for like. In theory a comprehensive analysis of how the demos progressed and hidden stuff but I'm only just starting and It's mostly for myself right now. Here are some highlights/particularly interesting things that are/will be in it

"Miracle Musical, also written as ミラクルミュージカル, has released three albums in its lifetime: Hawaii: Part ii, Hawaii: Part ii Part ii, and last but not least, Hawaii Partii." - the first sentence

I slowly realized the 3rd demo of The Mind Electric (The Mind of Simon) very well could've been originally intended to be a part of Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum, since Hawley apparently had demos of H:Pii way back in 2005, when it aired, and it's the only MM song to outright state a name

The people speaking in the first half of The Mind Electric are from a 1948 radio

It's a common misconception that the date H:Pii aired (December 12, 2012) was supposed to be the end of the world. The rumored end of the world was actually on the 21st, nine days later.

One background lyric in Black Rainbows says "stella octangula" which is the shape on some of the covers for MM and Hawaii: Part ii

Candle on the Water is a cover, not an original song, sung in honor of two longtime fans of Tally Hall.
