Project: Save Humanity
or something like that
It's no surprise that the Ancients get bored. They are immortal and have all the time in the world to complain about it, sadly Danny joined them after he was crowned.
Their monthly meetings are divided into three topics: Taunting the Observants (Clockwork's favorite topic after they were demoted to helpers, assistants, and other menial jobs), talking about the safety of the Realms (quite peaceful if just as chaotic), and argue.
They- really had nothing to do, and their hobbies eventually bored them. So Danny had a brilliant idea (read: he saw it on a TV show) and decided that they should all become mentors and save one of the dimensions.
Clockwork was about to say that was not a good idea, since it was the same as throwing giants into a world of ants but he needed some fun so he kept quiet. He showed them the dimension of DC and how it was continually being destroyed, the King told them to start their project in that place and select someone.
Clockwork selected Flash because he felt vengeful, Nocturne selected Tim Drake for the same reason, and so they went; each one of the Ancients selecting a "champion" they were going to teach. Although their selection reasons were quite absurd (being that they were selecting their opposite poles or just someone interesting).
Danny being a spirit of protection, selected Jason Todd and secretly Billy Batson, because he was the king and could break the rules (Clockwork rolled his eyes at the comment). The question now was, how did they appear to them and avoid the world's myriad routes of destruction?
Well at least they weren't bored anymore

I want more people to make Nü Wa also Wukong’s mom because she also created him in one of the myths and if that’s the route we’re going for no fucking wonder he’s got so many issues
But I also fear that if Season 5 does this they’re all going to go “of course he has mommy issues” like ok he was also groomed, forced to partake in a fight he didn’t even want to do, is actually doing great as a mentor and is a somewhat good role model to Xiaotian and has taught him how to be controlled and capable and is clearly proud of him and has been effectively trying to change as a person
But sure let’s focus on the mommy issues and not the serious aspect of how Nü Wa not only did this again but also is no different from the other people in Heaven who do nothing for the mortals and immortals that have suffered because of their lack of care towards them and only imprison or attack them because they… attack Heaven directly.
Demon Bull King and Sun Wukong hold no grudges because they were victims of a very weird and messed up system; I hope Erlang gets punched in the face by them both

voice-anon again, yeah Ive been trying to figure out how you’d imagine Mona’s voice, too. Shes always presented as Ms Popular Nice Girl Cheerleader, and you always draw her lanky and a bit geekier, like a Wari-otaku who hangs out with aliens and nerds out about showing them the world and mischievously messing with their preconceived notions of Earth with little white lies.
LOL yea I had always drawn her pretty lanky but i think over time she kinda stretched out like a rubber band. What's funny is that the first time i drew her i hadn't gotten to know her well enough to realize just how how wacky she was - my goal was originally just to draw an Extremely Teenager teenager, but the design kind of grew into itself that way. that was a LONG time ago, holy crap.
I do think she's still really popular though, just not in the stereotypical sense. One of my favorite things about mona is that she always comes out on top just by being unapologetically Mona - she can beat out powerful corporate rivals and established pop stars just because she's so darn likable. She's very friendly and doesn't hide who she is no matter how strange she may be, and she always speaks her mind. I think she just naturally draws people in because of that, and I also think she's the type of person to go out of her way to make everyone feel included no matter what - she treats orbulon the alien like one of her own and she's even the first to offer a friendship to Ashley, who is notoriously troubled and difficult to befriend. She's friends with everyone, not just a clique, and that's what makes her the best.
Well...almost everyone.

I think one of the biggest differences between my vision of Miles G and the general fandom is how I see him interacting with other people. Because, honestly, I don't think he would be... rude. At all. I mean, I'm not taking away from his Brooklyn slang or his experience in the criminal streets. I don't mean he doesn't have triggers that would make him loose himself and be rightfully pissed off because of it. Just like 1610 or any other traumatized person would do.
It just doesn't mean in my mind that he would swear a lot or behave aggressively.
Given the environment in which he grew up for most of his life, none of this would have led to an unreasonable outburst of anger or disrespect.
Look, in ATSV, we have already seen how Rio (remember, his main and only parent) is quite sensitive and serious about the vocabulary her son uses. Take the same moment with "whatever," her reaction was quite strong, primarily because such vocabulary in response to an important speech was hardly something she would want to instill in her child. And, realizing that Miles G will clearly receive even more advice and instruction from her in his later years than his 1610 counterpart, I don't think the strong guidance on his own behavior in social circles would have disappeared quickly even in the worst of worlds. That's why I hc him being more polite that 1610 from time to time — Rio's lessons seems quite strong and unbeatable.
And also about Aaron - as much as people like to hold him up as an example of a "bad influence" on his nephew, he is NOT a bad person. Seriously, the worst thing he did to Miles in the first movie was probably that "hey" trick. Yes, his work as the Prowler wasn't nice or morally right, but we were made to understand that he never meant Miles any harm.
(Did you see the deleted scene from ITSV where Aaron almost literally tells Jeffernos that he doesn't want Miles to end up "like him"?) He would be just about the last person on the list of people who would teach a child to smoke or swear violently, let's be honest.
(I'm not American and I'm not from Brooklyn, so I wouldn't mind if someone corrected me on that part).
However, as a person who knows the belligerent and disturbing atmosphere in my city, it seems to me that you should be cautious rather than angry here. Except for the Prowler, of course: Miles has a little more freedom here and a literal need to be fast and scary, so he deserves a little Spanish swearing in the face of a conventional Octavius.
But if you take, for example, a normal civilian going out and shopping, I don't think that in a world full of crime, Miles G will be looking for a fight. In such cases, you always have to look and know what to say, and who it is better not to approach at all, because the person, for example, may have a gun. Of course, if someone openly insults or threatens him, he can defend himself easily, but in other cases, you need to be even more polite and quiet than usual. His goal is to buy the damn milk and leave, so if he has to say "excuse me, please" to some man at the checkout, nothing terrible will happen. If you ask me, this kind of communication with silent strangers is probably the first thing that comes to mind, but it depends on your perspective.
And the last thing is that he is a child - no 15-year-old teenager with a desire to help his family and psychological isolation will drink alcohol or be angry with all the people in the world. Thank you.

Human species observation report; 23553
Homeworld time; moonfall 2.4
-By, Auut
Continuing on our adventures with the family of five... now back down to a family of three since the elders left for the holidays.
Something I've noticed is how, in every human's house, in every bedroom, their sleeping quarters. Their beds are... always against a wall, more often than not within a corner. Though, the corner placement is more common for younglings.
I, of course, as the 14-year-old female's "Imaginary friend" took to questioning her about this. She too seemed to have to give some thought to it, before coming to this conclusion.
"If I imagined having my bed in the center of the room, I suddenly feel very.. surrounded. Almost as if my fears as a child, about monsters, came back again in full force. It's scary and too revealing to have my bed in the middle of the room."
For this, I have formed a hypothesis. Humans, as a species have taken to sleeping in enclosed corners so that they can get a good look at the room around them, and easily spot any predators. This cultural practice of having a bed in the corner or against the wall is simply the excess of that primal fear not being washed out during their evolutionary process.
This is a very interesting conclusion, I may have to dive into the human databases to figure more about this.

I've really gotta start saying that commonplace things that aren't environmentally friendly are against my religion. Someone hands me a paper plate? Sorry, I can't, that's against my religion. Raking leaves off my yard & mowing? The gods don't want me to. Plastic to-go cups? Sorry, nope, here's my reusable mug.
