This is a snippet of an upcoming fic with Ran x sister!reader x Rindou
Your fingers weren’t enough. No matter how much you rubbed, you couldn’t give yourself an orgasm. It was frustrating. Biting down on your lip, you tried to swallow down your whimper.
Until a hand covered your mouth and your back hit Ran’s chest. “Naughty, naughty, little sister.” The tease in his whisper against your ear only furthered your frustration. Because it wasn’t only Rindou that you had spied on.
Of course, they were both fully aware. It was no accident that their doors weren’t closed when having a visitor. This had been in the planning for quite a while.
The first time Ran caught you spying, he’d wrote it off as an accident. It was adorable, the way you couldn’t look him in the eyes the next day. Your cheeks flushed a soft hue of pink. Likely the first time that you’d ever seen a sex act.
Hell, you hadn’t even been kissed.
Your two older brothers had made damn sure of that. No boys would dare cross the Haitani brothers.
But the second time Ran caught you spying, it was in a similar situation. He’d fallen asleep on the couch, woken up by the moans and smacking of the bed against the wall. To his surprise, there you were, quietly turning the doorknob and peering inside.
He remembers oh so clearly that you were only in your panties and a t-shirt that was shamelessly short. You bit your lip almost innocently, shifting on your feet. It was then he decided to start working on you. How could he not when you clearly wanted to be in their beds?

Imagine the Haitani brothers having a baby sister who is a streetcar racer, driving a car the three of them modified when they were young.
In every race you participate in, you bet your ass they’re in the middle of the crowd cheering you on. Any mechanical pieces you need? It’s already inside the garage, don’t even worry about the money, they got it.
It didn’t matter that you do illegal street racing, your big brothers often even encourage it since racing could be a great benefit to Bonten.
In all honesty, you’re often their escape to when they almost get caught doing their illegal business, giving a sly smile to the police before entering your polished race car as you drove above the normal speed.
Rindou raised his middle finger to taunt them, laughing like a maniac as Ran gave a big kiss on your head, “You really gotta be a part of Bonten with your skills, Y/n."
“I’m only driving Nii-chan…"
“Yeah, but a great one at that!"
*okay that’s all <;33

Brother, I'm here.
-- Kurokawa Izana x little sister reader
🖤 — Tokyo Revengers
📝 — implication of domestic abuse, hurt/comfort, FLUFF (fawking finally), thinking of murder (its valid i swear), your relationship with everyone is platonic!, not proofread

You woke up to another day where you’re being wrapped by warm arms and blankets. It never fails to put a small smile on you as you register. It's just your brother being clingy again.
When he first took you to his home and you woke up from exhaustion, tears and apologies were thrown to each other as you talked about things that are long overdue. Tears mostly belonging to you and apologies from him.
Despite wanting to prepare food for the both of you, your brother insisted on making meals and was just happy to let you watch because he’s right in the fact that you don’t know anything about Japanese cuisine.
Nevertheless, he made you promise him that you’ll cook him Filipino cuisine in the near future. For now, he’s like an excited kid about to show his parents something as he insisted on cooking homemade meals for you.
Today, you were promised to meet some of his close friends because he wanted you to interact with another being despite his unsurprisingly growing protectiveness over you.
So far, the only people who had the privilege to visit and see you were Kakucho, Mikey and Emma, albeit hesitantly because they didn’t know how you’ll react after what happened, Draken, the gentle almost bald boy, Takemichi and his girlfriend, Hinata.
You were curious about the tall braided man and the man who was in a ponytail and inquired about them to your brother but you saw how he frowned, clearly contemplating something before sighing and telling you that he’ll introduce them to you soon.
“Kuya, kuya.” you call out to his sleeping form, grinning when he grunted. “Kuya.” you call out again and just like any other day, you could hear gears turning in his head as he slowly opens his eyes and looks at you with slightly wide eyes.
It was as if he’s still not believing that you’re real and that he indeed has a blood-related family.
“Good morning! You promised me today that you’ll introduce me to your friends!” you excitedly said, shaking him with your grip on his arm. He sighs, nodding. “I know, Y/N, I know. Good morning to you, too.”
You hop off the bed, stretching, already feeling happy for the day.
Your doorbell rings and before you could even take a step to answer the door, you’re being pulled behind by Izana, him smiling down at you.
“I’ll take it.”
You know it’s because he doesn’t trust anyone beyond the safe comfort of your house until he knows who it is.
“Oh, Kakucho.” you hear him faintly before standing outside from your bedroom.
“Kuya Kaku, hello.” you softly greeted with a bow. Everyone older than you had grown accustomed to the word Kuya. “Don’t be so formal, Y/N-chan.” he says, his tone just as soft as yours as he reaches for you to ruffle your hair.
But along the action, you flinched, closing your eyes a bit and stepping back, hands coming to protect your head.
Silence surrounded you as your face paled at what you did. It was on instinct, you swear, but that’s not the problem. You just protected yourself from a man who was nothing but nice to you and they will know that about the abuse! You don’t want that!
However, instead of questions, all you got was a soft pat in the head.
You didn’t miss the look your brother and Kuya Kaku shared, though.
Tumblr media
Izana wholeheartedly believed that your hands aren't aware of what violence is. He believed that you're just an innocent girl with her big doe eyes.
But as he watches you interact with the four heavenly kings plus Sanzu, he's hyper aware of your flinches every now and then whenever they make big gestures to accompany their stories.
Something ugly bubbles in him. Something familiar.
Rage.
He doesn't want to think about the reason behind your little actions that you're clearly trying to not act out.
He doesn't want to think about you crying helplessly as you beg the person to stop hurting you.
He doesn't want to think about the times you cried for his help.
But he knows that the truth always finds its way to shine despite being buried where the light doesn't reach. He knows he'll have a conversation with you.
Knows that he'll need to dig up painful memories for you to let it all out.
However, for now, he'll let you enjoy and let you take your time even though he'll surely drop hints for you to take and know that he wants to know everything about your life when he was still not present.
"Kuya Rin, can you tie my hair?" He hears you ask and sees the way Rindou blinks at you in confusion before pointing at himself. "Yes, you." you say, tilting your head.
Rindou looks at Ran who raises an eyebrow at him. "You don't want him to braid your hair instead?" You shake your head and laugh a little when Ran pouts.
"Kuya Ran can braid my hair next time. I want to have a matching hairstyle with Kuya Rin today."
At that moment, the Haitani brothers shared the same sentiment.
"Should we snatch this little sister from Izana and make her our little sister instead?" (fondly)
But one feeling of Izana's murderous gaze on them was enough to throw the thought away. Not completely off the table, though.
"All right, come here."
Despite your brother's hesitance, one that you don't understand why, to let you meet the Haitani brothers, he's happy to know that you're enjoying their presence.
Aside from being instantly comfortable with Kakucho, the Haitani brothers' presence was enough to make you feel comfortable, too. Maybe it's because Ran knows how to deal with younger kids but he got close with you rather quickly.
As for Rindou, he was afraid that you'll fear him because he doesn't know how to be expressive but you didn't hesitate calling him Kuya and smiling at him.
If Ran is kind to you, you were so sure that Rindou will be kind, too, and you were right.
The others were big and looked strong but they all smiled softly at you albeit awkwardly when Izana introduced them.
However, the masked person, Sanzu, hasn't spoken a word towards you and you think that he's not comfortable around your presence.
You slowly made your way towards Izana and tugs on his arm, interrupting his conversation with Kakucho and Shion.
"What is it? Are you hungry? Tired?" you shook your head with a smile. "Does that person ever talk?" you whispered to him after pointing at Sanzu. "I want to talk to him but he might not be comfortable interacting with others…"
Izana looks at Sanzu who's talking with Mucho and hums. It's not like he doesn't trust Sanzu but the guy only talks to Mucho and he's afraid he'll ignore you and hurt your feelings by doing so.
"Why don't you try talking to him?" he suggests, watching you purse your lips before nodding with a soft okay.
He doesn't get back to talking to Kakucho and Shion, opting to watch you make your way towards the long-haired boy.
"You're Kuya Haru, right?" you softly asked. You watch as Sanzu looks at you, glancing at Mucho for a bit before nodding. "You need something?" he asks, making you smile and you could see the confusion in his furrowed eyebrows.
"I'm sorry, it's just, it's my first time hearing you talk so I'm happy, I guess." you ranted, sitting besides him, eyes practically shining at him.
He gulps. It's been a while since he interacted with someone else lest a girl younger than him. You reminded him of Senju, for some reason.
"Your hair looks so healthy." you absentmindedly said, racking your gaze on his hair. "Thank you? Yours look fine." he says with a nod.
"Hey, Kuya Haru, I'm sorry if I'm being nosy but why do you wear a mask?" the question was whispered as if it's just meant for him to hear.
Maybe it's because of that fact that he's aware of your efforts for your brother. Maybe it's because he also notices your subtle flinches whenever someone raises their hand.
But Sanzu found himself a little comfortable around you. Maybe he could let loose and trust you despite knowing your existence just days ago.
"I have scars." he says, the word 'ugly' wanting to bubble its way out of his mouth to accompany the word 'scars' but he stops them, popping said bubbles. He doesn't need you to know about his insecurities.
"Oh." he hears you say while nodding. "I have scars, too." you whisper to him and he knows that it's just a secret between you and him.
For now.
"Can I see them?" you gesture towards his face, smiling softly even though you're biting the inside of your cheek, afraid that you're stepping over a line.
However, Sanzu hooks his fingers on his mask and pulls it down for you to see.
You stare at two diamonds staring back at you that you didn't notice seconds had passed and your silence made Sanzu fidgety, opting to put his mask back on which pulled you out of your trance.
"I'm-I'm sorry for staring and I know this might sound insensitive or-or something along the line but they're so…mesmerising. You look so cool with them, Kuya."
Your voice was laced with genuine admiration that Sanzu doesn't know what to do with it. "Aren't they…scary?" he asked after a few seconds of silence. You blinked rapidly at him, frowning.
"In what way? They're diamonds! They're treasures! Treasures aren't scary." you pout, "they're beautiful." you added, seemingly so full of positive things at how your perspective of things is different from his.
Your brother who's observing you smiles at your pout, thinking about how you're still just a child. With a sigh, he gets back to his conversation with the others and lets you be.
Meanwhile, your words echo in Sanzu's mind.
"They're treasures. They're beautiful."
Never in his life did he think that way about his scars but your child-like innocence and your view about things was enough to calm his fear.
Why was he even feeling fear at the thought of you finding his scars ugly? At the thought of you being scared of him after seeing them?
Maybe it's because he, too, is longing for familial love. For acceptance from someone blood-related. And despite you not being one, you managed to give him what he was longing for.
Izana is lucky, he thinks. He has a little sister who did her everything just to meet him. A little sister so full of love despite the things that happened to her these past days.
While he had siblings; an older brother and a little sister who blamed him for every mistake and who was the cause of mistakes, respectively.
"Y/N, we're going." you hear your brother say and you nod, standing up from where you are beside Sanzu. "Thank you for showing your diamonds, Kuya Haru!" you say, waving goodbye at him.
Underneath the mask, he smiles, the phantom pain of his scars dulling.
Tumblr media
"Kuya, do you know any job around here that accepts kids my age?" you questioned. You and your Kuya are currently walking through the streets with you clinging on to his arm.
"I don't and even if I do, why would I tell you?"
"Kuya, I just want to work."
"How funny." that made you pout, punching him with your free hand. "I'm serious!" you protest.
"You don't have to work, Y/N. What made you think I'll let you? Enrol in school instead." you contemplate his suggestion with how serious he sounded.
"You know what, I'll enrol you whether you like it or not."
"Hey! I'm still thinking! And besides, I can work instead to help wi-"
"None of that." When you look down, he sighs silently and stops walking, turning his body to you as much as he can because of you clinging to his arm.
"Y/N, I am aware that you got used to working and that you want to help with finances but let me tell you that I am more than capable enough to handle it. You don't have to sacrifice your youth for the both of us, yeah?" he softly says.
"And let you sacrifice yours, instead?" you pettily asked back. He just chuckles at your tone.
"What are you talking about? If my youth meant looking after you then it's not a sacrifice. I'm your brother, your Kuya, Y/N, don't forget that."
You're not sure when you started to cry but you just became aware of it when your brother chuckles and wipes your cheeks. "Well, aren't you a crybaby?" he teases.
"Shut up, Kuya." you whine, pushing him away despite you still clinging to his arm. He just hums, smiling. He knows he won when you sigh and he felt more victorious compared to when he and his gang won a battle.
Tumblr media
You’re not sure how it came to this. All you know is that things escalated quickly and now you’re sitting in front of your brother who’s holding your hands, calming you down with his soft tone and shushes.
With apologies that’s not supposed to come out from his mouth because he did nothing wrong.
Again, it was just instinct.
The both of you were at the kitchen earlier, helping each other to cook. You briefly remember his instructions to get something from the fridge but for some reason, your hand decided to be clumsy and drop whatever you were holding.
Fear immediately made its way to you as you looked at your brother with pure horror in your eyes, his image becoming that of your mother, your memories playing with you. The next thing you know, you’re sitting on the ground, crying and shaking your head, apologies nonstop coming out of your mouth as you slink away from Izana.
His voice went static in your brain as you closed your eyes when he walked closely without hesitation and all of the sudden, you’re getting lifted up for a few seconds before you feel the soft mattress underneath you. Your trembling hands are now being cradled by rough yet soft ones.
“Shh, it’s okay, you’re okay, bubs.” you hear him saying, thumb caressing the back of your hands. “Breathe with me, please. You’re doing great.” your breath stutters as you try to breathe with him but his encouragement did its wonders to help you calm down.
With your vision now clear, you realise it’s not your stepmother in front of you but your brother who’s looking at you with worry and love.
Without hesitation, you lunged yourself at him, hugging him tightly as you sob in his chest quietly. He lets you wet his clothes with your tears and snot, reassurance falling from his lips like waterfalls; nonstop.
After a while, you stop and comfortable silence drapes its own on the both of you. “Take your time. We can talk about it like this.” you knew it’s him softly demanding you to tell him about everything. Days have passed with you flinching now and then and he’s nothing but patient with you.
With a shaky breath, you start your story.
Izana sat there with you in his arms, closing his eyes now and then to calm himself from the rage bubbling in him. He wants to go to the Philippines and commit another murder but he has you now and he doesn’t want you to be alone once again.
When you finish, he squeezes you and kisses the crown of your head. “You did so great holding on. Thank you for holding on. As selfish as it sounds, I’m happy you endured all of that and looked for me.” he sounded like he’s about to cry but you didn’t look at him to confirm.
“Kuya became my purpose and reason for living after I heard that you exist…” you confess. He was rendered speechless. While he was busy planning to take away someone’s purpose and reason, someone’s sanity and light, you were out there making him your raison d'etre.
Indeed, he’s too lucky and never in his life did he felt so grateful to the world for giving him this life other than this moment.
He knows you still have a long way to get over your traumas but he promises that he’ll be there along the way, holding you tight against the safety of his arms.
He had been a big brother to people who were not his real siblings. But right now, he’s a big brother once again. This time, to a blood-related sister.
More importantly, he’s your big brother.
He could never ask for more.
The door to his apartment opens, causing Izana to whip his head in its direction. A smile made its way to his lips, ignoring his friends' greeting to you as he looked at you fondly. You were smiling widely back at him with all your glory, your school uniform adoring you as he waits patiently for the phrase he’s always looking forward to hear,
“Kuya, I’m here!”
A/N: I ain't putting "the end" because i'm sure i'll still add headcanons for this but at the same time, this is kinda the "ending" of this series! thank you so much for reading :'>

[01:00AM]
When Rindou was angry, silence was the most common tool. Being quiet made his thoughts louder, so all he needed was calm.
Ran knew that very well, he had "raised" him after all. The pout in his expression and the inability to keep his gaze in his eyes told Ran that something was wrong with him.
"Hiro says he doesn't like stuffed animals anymore".
Ran took the cigarette out of his mouth and smiled.
"They grow up fast, huh?"
“Ran, Hiro says he doesn't like dinosaurs anymore"
"And what is the problem?"
Smashing the cigar against the asphalt, Ran Haitani's huge body turned towards his brother. A slender hand rested on his shoulder.
"When you were 6 years old you adored those cartoons of a boy with red underpants. You spent hours and hours behind the screen"
"But that..."
"Let me finish".
Rindou looked at the screen of his phone. The photo of Hiro dressed as a superhero plunged the knife deep into his chest. He was growing. He was growing and there was no stop button that worked.
"When you turned 8 you told me you didn't want to sleep next to me anymore.".
"But that"
Raising his eyebrows was enough for Rindou to shut up.
"When you turned 12 you stopped talking to me about the girls you liked".
"What are you trying to tell me?"
“Hiro is going to keep growing. Just like you did. Just like I stopped doing braids. Just like everyone else does".
Rindou swallowed hard before looking at his brother. He was right, he knew it. But admitting it hurt more than staying in denial.
"Growing up is not bad. It means you're alive. It means that everything is fine".

Older sister Haitani |
Okay, I know we talked about little sister Haitani, but could we also talk about how adorable it would be if the Haitanis had a big sister who took care of little Ran and Ridou? Oh my, it would be so adorable she'd probably be unable to go anywhere with them. Lmao I could see it now.
—————————————————————————————————————
“N/n when is it my turn to get my hair dyed?” Rindou groaned in annoyance. He had been waiting to get his hair done all day and then Ran stepped in and said he wanted his done and of course y/n put down everything just to do his stupid hair.
“Give me one second Rindou I have to bleach Rans ends and then i'll be right with you okay” She sent the little boy a smile which only got an eye roll.
“Fine” He sighed and continued laying on the floor coloring with the new coloring book his sister had gotten for him.
y/n felt really bad. It's not that she was playing favorites, it's just that Ran came to her before Rindou had woken up and said that he wanted his ends bleached and she thought she had enough time to do it before Rindou woke up. Sadly she was mistaken because Rindou woke up halfway through the process and she couldn’t just leave Ran.
Ran on the other hand felt no mercy for his little brother. In fact he was holding back laughs, not because he didn’t want Rindou to see but more because he didn’t want his sister to hit him upside the head.
Rindou got tired of coloring and decided to get up and do something else which somehow landed him in his sister's hair supplies.
y/n owned a lot of hair supplies but she would never let her brothers near it because in short it would cause a huge mess and she couldn’t really afford that especially since good hair products got more expensive by the day and it was how she made her living.
So Rindou took the chance to play around in it since she was busy.
While playing around he found something in a container that interested him. It looked like it was some type of red substance in a tube.
“Sis what's this?” Rindou said in his most innocent tone while holding up the tube.
y/n glanced over Rans head to see what Rindou was talking about and sure enough it was a tube of her most dangerous hair dye. It was the one hair dye that she tried to keep hidden the most because it stained things really badly and refused to come out but of course Rindou would find it. “Oh its Hair dye”
“How come you didn’t show me this one when giving me options?”
“Oh uh I must have not seen it and besides you wouldn’t want it anyways”
“How come?”
“Because it stains and I’m pretty sure you want to keep your pretty blonde hair blonde right?” Y/n said making sure to add a compliment on there to be more convincing.
“Well I want it” Rindou said, fixing his glasses.
“What, why?”
“Because you said it stains and it’s red so that means it’s just like blood.”
Y/n cursed herself she should have known that would only interest him. “But Rin I already set up the stuff. It would be a shame if all my time went to waste.”
“I don’t care, I want my hair to look like blood” with that Rindou took off running.
“Hey get back here you little shit” y/n too took off running.
“HEY WHAT ABOUT MY HAIR” Ran yelled out to his siblings. But they were too far away to hear him.
Ran sat back in the chair with the foils wrapped around the ends of his hair and sighed.
This was nothing but a normal day in the Haitani household.

Chapter 23 of The Haitani Princess is up on AO3!
Link below ⬇️
Excerpt from chapter!
“Kazu…coffee.” The teenage girl complained, a sleepy yawn interrupting her whine for caffeine; a soft hum came from his throat, his fingers still tracing along her jaw. “Please, so sleepy.”
“I guess since you said please, princess.” he drawled teasingly, a cocky smirk coming to his lips when she didn’t try to argue against it.
She could’ve scowled in response to her endearing nickname, and it wasn’t even because being called a princess by someone other than Ran bothered her, that wasn’t it. She’d never openly admitted it to anyone, and she especially never would to the dark-haired teenager in her bed, but she honestly loved it when he would call her a princess; it always made her feel bashful and trying not to blush when it came out of his mouth was continuously a challenge. Out of everyone that had called her a princess, whether it was her elder brother doing so affectionately or someone announcing her street name, no one’s voice made her feel the way Kazutora’s did with a single word. Rather than let on to how much she enjoyed it, she tried to mask her shyness with dead-eyed expressions and an annoyed tone of voice, it had worked for years but she didn’t see that happening too terribly much longer if he continued on using it the way he had been since he put his foot down about it yesterday; she was already struggling to hold her composure and could feel the beginnings of a blush blooming on her cheeks.
“Whatever, carry me to the kitchen.” She grumbled, avoiding his persistent stare like the plague. “I’ll start coffee.”
“First time you’ve asked me to carry you.” He commented after a moment, her head turned back to him as he slipped out of her touch and went to move off the bed. “Almost thought you didn’t like it anymore.”
“I tried kicking the habit.” She confessed, sliding herself across the mattress to the edge. “Couldn’t do it.”
“Your Onii-san still carry you around when you get upset?” Kazutora pressed curiously; she did scowl at that, slipping an arm around his neck while he went about scooping her up into his arms.
“Rin-nii did last time.” She admitted, her voice monotone; she was still partially shaken that he’d done so, she’d never thought she’d see the day where he’d submit to doing something that he’d forever argued against. “Aniki tried to tell me no about it and Nii-san got mad at him.”
“Weird.” The dark-haired teenager uttered, sounding just as confused about it as she still was; Kazutora was the only person she’d ever felt comfortable enough with to confess her coping mechanism, he’d even gone about it for her when she got overwhelmed and paced circles around her room in the dead of night back in the day.

I refuse to believe Rindou neede glasses but Ran's eyesight is fine.
Why? Is that not a thing? Though I guess Rindou could be wearing fake glasses (he is shown both squinting and not squinting without them so it's a bit inconsistent) or Ran could need glasses but refuses to wear them. I actually wouldn't be suprised if so many people told Rindou he had the same eyes as Ran so he started wearing glasses to distract from that???

The young girl was trying to leave the house without being seen by her brothers. After that incident, her brothers, who started to be very protective, did not send her anywhere alone. If they found out the reason for going out, they would never allow it.
When her brothers left the house, she quickly put on her clothes and left the house. It had been exactly a month. She still had minor scars. But she had never had any sores that hurt.
She was going to meet Draken that day and he hadn't even come to the hospital. She still felt guilty. Maybe he didn't even know what had happened to her. He probably thought she had forgotten it, she thought.
She hurried to the train station and looked around where she met him and smiled. She missed him.
Y/n knew she liked him even though she didn't confess it to him. And now she wanted him to know too. These feelings weighed heavily on her. She just wanted to tell him even if she was rejected. She smiled at her thoughts and walked towards the train.
***
Everyone gave her strange looks when Y/n asked about the meeting place of the Toman members. Although she thought it was because of the scars on her face, people were surprised at her courage.
At that time, Draken and Mikey were talking before the meeting. Mikey was upset with his friend's confused and stagnant state.
"Oi, Ken-chin! It hurts me to see you like this."
Draken looked up in surprise, was it that obvious?
"Huh? What do you mean Mikey?"
Mikey took a deep sigh and smiled.
"I know you're thinking of her. Why don't you go see her?"
Draken sighed deeply and lowered his head.
"I can't. It's the only way to protect her. The Haitanis were right, and I'm as much a danger to her as they are."
Mikey understood his friend. He would do the same thing, but he was still upset.
"Besides, I haven't replied to her texts for weeks. She must be very upset with me."
Mikey and Draken's eyes widened when they saw several of the Toman members squeezing a girl. "Y/n?"
Surprised, Draken started walking in that direction, Mikey following behind him.
"Are you stupid, brat? We're telling you to go. Or do you want a beating?"
Y/n clenched her fist firmly and sighed.
"I have to see Draken-kun. Please, take me to him. Or call him. This is an important matter."
Y/n was startled by the familiar voice she heard while nervously talking to the other people and turned her head to the owner of the voice. "What's happening in here ?"
Mikey was waving to y/n with a big smile as Draken asked his men.
"Hello y/n-chan!"
Y/n smiled nervously and waved to Mikey. Draken sent the men and looked up.
They both just stared at each other in silence for a while. It was Mikey who split them up.
"Come on, will you shut up like this? Talk, now."
Mikey was smiling broadly as Draken rolled his eyes at Mikey. Draken couldn't help but take a deep breath and spoke.
"We'll talk if you go Mikey"
Mikey grinned and waved to y/n and walked away
"See you again y/n-chan ! Bye bye !"
Y/n smiled and waved at him and turned to Draken and spoke nervously.
"Can we talk for a moment, Draken-kun? I won't take much of your time, I promise."
Draken nodded seriously. The young girl's offended voice was killing him.
"I'm sorry Draken-kun. I couldn't come that day. There were some incidents and I was in the hospital... You must be mad at me, I know you don't want to talk but I'm sorry."
Draken looked at her in surprise as a tear fell from Y/n's eye. Now he understood how much he had hurt her. Y/n didn't even know that he was the one who saved her, he thought she didn't know anything. She swore and thought for a while what to say.
"Y/n... please don't apologize. I... I'm sorry. I should have at least told you why I didn't answer, you had a right to know. Oh I'm so stupid, please don't cry y/n-chan. It's all my fault. "
Draken continued as Y/n looked at him in surprise.
"I came to the hospital y/n, I saw you. That's why I stayed away from you. There are people who want to hurt your brothers. I have enemies as well. I just wanted to protect you, but that was so stupid. I'm sorry."
Draken's eyes widened when he heard y/n's sob. She hugged Draken abruptly and after a while Draken hugged her and stroked her hair.
"It's all my fault y/n... I'm sorry. Never wanting to upset you. I'm so stupid, I'm sorry."
Y/n looked up at Draken after a few moments and smiled. She wiped her eyes and sniffed. Draken wanted to cry at her sweetness.
"I promise I'll learn to protect myself, Draken-kun. From now on, neither you nor my brothers will be upset because of me."
"Y/n..."
Y/n smiled
"We're still friends aren't we? Your friendship means a lot to me, Draken-kun."
Draken smiled and patted her head.
"You mean a lot to me too, y/n. Now I have to drive you home, before your brothers bring the apocalypse to Tokyo again."
Y/n chuckled and nodded. Draken smiled too and started walking to his bike.

its such a fascinating future to me, like. who died and how? how would the other take it? what would their life be like without the other? theyve been the only constant in each others life and now thats gone too
would the surviving brother seclude himself? would he become more brash, reckless? would it make him disregard his own safety more? bc what else is there once your other half has become nothing but a memory? a secret yet not so secret desire for one fight to finally be the last? god i want to write a fic on this

Brother, I'm here.
-- Kurokawa Izana x little sister reader
🖤 — Tokyo Revengers
📝 — angst, implication of domestic abuse, suicide attempt, hurt/comfort, a bit of fluff at the end
:a/n — this one is a bit heavy :'> (wc: 2.4k)
— PT. 1 / PT. 2/PT.3/PT.4/PT.5
Tumblr media
You, Kurokawa Y/N, only wanted only one thing.
A family.
A household with the said family who’s loving and will treat you with care and affection. A family who won’t paint your skin blue and purple at any given chance and will protect you from all the things that you find to be scary.
That was the only thing you want but apparently, you’re considered greedy by the world for longing for something that’s supposed to be given to anyone the moment they were born.
Something was wrong with you.
Something has got to be deeply wrong with you because if not, why else would you be standing outside the hospital where you just got discharged a few minutes ago and currently drowning the moment your Kuya Mikey fills you in with what happened and the truth?
The fucking truth of not being related to them at all.
Your Kuya Mikey- are you even allowed to still call him that?- who you see walking towards you, panic in his eyes because you're walking backwards, walking away from them as if walking away from the truth.
He was saying something. Emma was saying something, also reaching out for you. Hell, even Takemichi was saying something but you’re drowning, you’re falling, and you’re…
You’re just there.
Alone.
A part of you begs to listen to them, to run to them, to beg for them to accept you as their little sister because God, oh dear God, you loved how they treated you for the last few days in your stay at the hospital.
They treated you like glass. Like someone precious. Treated you in a way that you didn’t even know was possible.
It got you questioning if you even deserved it because your stepmother said that you didn’t deserve anyone else’s love but only her’s.
And then it hit you.
You don’t deserve it, don’t you?
It was just a pity. It wasn’t love, it was pity.
But guilt bubbles in you as the thought passes through your mind. Who do you think you are to judge their actions? Who do you think you are to doubt their love for you?
You’re just a fool who wanted to force her way into their own little bubble of family.
It’s fucking embarrassing, you tell yourself.
So you run away. Turn your back on them like how Izana did to you. You ignore their calls of pleas and waits. You drown everything around you.
As they curse at how fast you could run, you’re grateful for the times you need to run away and hide on the nights where your stepmother’s wrath was too much. Maybe it was a destiny to be abused for this very moment. This moment to run away from people who turned out to be not blood-related at all.
You should’ve just remained in your own hell.
You’re not supposed to be here.
You don’t belong here.
Tumblr media
Kakucho kneels in front of his king. His king who he found in front of the orphanage. He felt like a fool for not thinking about this place first.
Because as much as they wanted to leave this place before, it was still their home in their younger years.
"Izana, please. She's looking for you. She begged me to bring you back to her." He remembers the way your lips wobbled, your eyes dripping with unshed tears as you begged him to bring your brother back.
As you told him that you want Izana to stay with you because he's your family.
"She doesn't deserve me and I don't deserve her." Izana says and it hits Kakucho, as well as the Haitani brothers who helped him in finding Izana, that their king was just as desperate as you but in a different way.
While you're desperate to run after him, he's desperate to run away from you.
All because he thinks he doesn't deserve you and vice versa.
"She's…she's too pure for me, Kakucho. She's too bright." Ran looks down, eyes glancing at Rindou because he knows what Izana is saying. He understands.
But he frowns and shakes his head, stepping forward.
"Your sister…" he starts and he could see Rindou's eyebrows rising in surprise. "I understand that you want to push her away. Hell, I wanted to push Rindou away from this…gang activities before but he's all I have and I'm all he has."
Ran stops, sighing.
"What I want to say is that she deserves at least an explanation of why you want her away from you. That is, if you still want to push her away after all this talk. She was longing for you, you know? Kakucho told me."
Izana looks up at the sky. It was so…unfamiliar. Did the sky always look that way? It was always dull before, wasn't it? Why is it suddenly blue and white?
Why is it suddenly bright?
His hands are painted with blood and violence and yours looked like they aren't even aware of what violence is.
His head was filled with dark thoughts and you looked like all your thoughts were all flowers and sunshines.
How could he face you after all he's done? How could he tell you that he also wanted to stay with you because apparently, you're his real blood-related sister and that's all he ever wanted?
He breathes out shakily.
God fucking damnit.
If he's selfish to want to have you accept him even though he knows he fucked up his first interaction with you, then so be it. Make him look selfish. Greedy. Asshole.
He doesn't care anymore.
Kakucho's phone rings before he could even tell them to bring him to you.
"Hello?"
Something grips Izana's heart as he watches Kakucho's eyes widen as he looks straight back at him.
"What…what do you mean she's missing?"
Tumblr media
The concept of family was always known yet unfamiliar to you. Everytime you go out and see parents with their children laughing happily, there’s a longing, a nostalgia that you feel. It was ironic how nostalgia is present when all you could remember was rough hands and sharp nails connecting with your skin.
However, when you got informed that you have an older brother miles away from you, it was enough to at least dull the painful memories and it was changed to an imagination, hope, that your brother will let you piggy ride his back, will let you play with his hair, and just…just simple bondings that a family do.
But you found out that it was merely imagination. A feeble hope to be destroyed by said brother.
You found yourself running and running and running.
You don’t even know where you are. You don’t care anymore. You just want to run away from here, want to get away from these almost familiar looking streets. Your eyes and lungs are burning. Exhaustion seeps through your body and your head is back to letting something hit it from the inside.
Everything is becoming blurry; was it because of the tears? The dizziness? Either way, you kept running until your feet took you to a soft feeling under.
A beach.
You’re on a beach and the sand felt so soft underneath you it was making you sick. Everything seems big, bright, dull, soft, and rough. They’re loud. The waves are loud, entrancing and calling you.
Your mind is racing with a million thoughts and yet, it is empty. All you could think about was how nice it was to just rest naturally like the sun setting beyond the horizon in front of you. All you could think about was the “what-if’s” and “could’ve been’s” if you didn’t look for your brother, if said brother didn’t turn his back on you, and if you didn’t turn your back on the people who were nothing but nice to you.
Your unshed tears were dried by the breeze, thoughts seemingly getting blown away with it, the waves in front of you engulfing it and taking it away.
And then you’re just there.
An empty shell of what used to be you.
You’re just there, feet slowly walking towards the waves.
Family is a concept you tried so hard to understand. It’s something you know and don’t know. It’s something you experienced in a wrong way.
Something that got you questioning your true purpose in life. It was supposed to be given to you the moment you were born so why?
Why are you all alone and trembling in fear and yet, you keep walking? The water is cold and it’s pulling and pushing you in and out. It’s shooing you away at the same time it’s pulling you in.
You were born in a household that paints your skin blue and purple. People are supposed to be born and cradled with gentle and soothing hands, aren’t they? So why were you even born if you don’t have those?
Ahh.
You get it.
You were born to die, weren’t you?
Tumblr media
Izana’s vision was obscured with his own unshed tears. He’s trembling and running. A part of him blame the Sanos for your disappearance. How could they tell you about the truth? Couldn’t they have just hid it from you? Protect you from it?
But then he’s too aware of what could happen if people let the water boil for too long. He’s seen it in himself. He’s seen how he was so full of hope and was ignorant of the truth that it utterly destroyed him when he was forced to face the reality.
It was funny, he thinks. Funny how he uttered the words that you’re no sister of his but the both of you are just too similar, aren’t you?
Both longing for a family.
It was funny because you’re there, a family, and yet he pushed you away. He’s such a fool, isn’t he?
But he vows to himself that this time, he’ll make things right. This time, he’ll open his heart and accept people. He’ll open his kingdom and let people do whatever they want. He’ll be a king who comes down from his throne for you- his family.
He’s running along a beach, he registers, and your name comes out of his mouth as if it’s the last thing keeping him sane. And maybe it was, maybe you are the only thing keeping him sane because he’s running like a madman, the word “No” stumbling out of his mouth over and over again.
You’re the only family he has. The only blood-related family he has so why are you trying to run away? He’s selfish, he knows. He’s the cause of this and he wants the waves to engulf him instead.
The waves already reached your waist but you’re just looking ahead, unaware of the people running towards you. Your eyes looked empty and it terrifies him. Those similar lilac eyes are supposed to be shining albeit a bit dim. They’re not supposed to be empty like his.
He reaches for your hand and tugs you to him. It scared him how you were so limp that you let him engulf you in his arms as he frantically dragged you towards the shore, how you let the both of you fall on your knees.
Kakucho, the Sanos, Draken, the Haitani brothers, and Takemichi sees the pure terror in Izana’s eyes as he holds you against him tightly. They notice the trembles of his body, the wobble of his lips and his tears that are freely flowing, carving their way on his cheeks.
His mouth was gaping, opening and closing, finding their words but it seemed like the waves took it away with them. He doesn’t know what to say.
He almost lost you.
Forever.
Tumblr media
One moment, you’re feeling the water reaching your waist and the next, it was trembling warm arms around you. Having disassociated with your reality, you were baffled because you’re suddenly at the shore, kneeling, and leaning against someone.
You didn’t have to look up to see who it was for he smelled like a family, a comfort, and safety.
You sob quietly against your brother, feeling him tense under you but his arms around you further tightens. You’re also trembling, fear creeping in you with full force with the realisation that you were so close to killing yourself.
You feel lost.
Afraid.
Are you even alive? What if you’re actually under the waves and all of this is just an imagination? A last resort of your brain that’s seeking comfort?
Your hand grips your brother’s clothes, hard and tight, as if he’ll disappear if you let go for at least a second. You hear him shushing you, calming you down, but it just made you sob more.
Despite being treated softly by the Sanos, being treated in the same way by your real blood-related brother was different.
You felt loved. You felt safe. You felt accepted.
This was the purpose you were cradling in your delicate, trembling hands years ago. Now, it’s being cradled by you and your brother; shared.
But something inside you is still not content. You need to make sure that everything is real. That right now is not just a figment of your imagination.
“Kuya…” you cry out.
“Yeah?” Izana says, so soft and gentle.
“Kuya, I’m here…I’m here, right?” you question the reality, daring. You hear Izana breathing out shakily, his right hand cupping your cheek, tilting your head to his direction.
And his eyes. You have those eyes, don’t you? They’re so similar to yours and it makes you sob more. You’re finally staring at your family.
“You’re here, Y/N, you’re here with me.” he reassures. It took you a moment to process his words but after a while, a wobbly little smile made its way to your lips before it fell- in relief- as you hid in his neck once again.
Your sobs echo through the area. The waves were calm as if giving you privacy, the sunset basking you with its gentle light and warmth.
The Sanos and Haitani brothers watch with a smile and deep gratitude to the world. Even though their family is broken, they know they were lucky enough to have each other since the beginning unlike you and your brother who had to cross multiple challenges just to see each other.
With a soft grin, all of them made their way to the both of you.
And all of a sudden, affection seeps to your head from their pats. It was overwhelming but you found yourself smiling and not running away. Your eyelids feel heavy, making you sigh.
Before succumbing to darkness in your brother’s arms, the last thing you felt was warm lips against your forehead along with a soft “thank you for not giving up on me, Y/n.” and,
“Thank you for being here.”
A/N: i swear we're getting fluff next hehe (with a sprinkle of angst)

When Flowers Fall
Tags: @ilykii @blacky-rose @rindouchanchan @sh4nn
that day, was the worst day in the lives of the Haitani brothers.
It was a festival, in Shibuya, so they were already in enemy territory. but Y/n insisted, saying her friend was waiting for her.
Honestly, Ran felt as if he should had put his foot down and said no, but he just couldn’t. he never could say no to his baby sister.
all day, until the sunset, there was a nagging feeling in the very back of his brain. but, nothing would possibly happen, right? they’re in public, too open for for a shooter or something.
so he tried to relax, playing some games to win Y/n a big plush dolphin bigger than her entire body. he felt her hand briefly leave his shirt and thought nothing of it.
Oh how stupid that was.
not even moments later, screaming.
Rindou was the first to react, dashing off. Ran following after quickly.
that’s when they saw it, a green van with blacked out windows, and no plate.
And a cream robed figure throwing their little sister in the van and jumping in, before driving off.
no.
No.
No, this couldn’t be happening.
Rindou fell to his knees, screaming in anguish, pounding the pavement. his tears streamed down his face.
quite fittingly, moments later, the sky went dark and it started raining.
----------
Years went by, and the pain never lessened.
Rindou started doing drugs with Sanzu Haruichiyou. Ran started Binge-drinking.
Her room was left untouched, the plushie Ran won her that day on her bed, dust seated over everything.
Her pjs that were picked out for that night when they got home were set out on the foot chest of her bed.
her shoddily sewn cat plush deflated and held the slight smell of lavender. the body spray her brothers would mist her with, but now brought anger to their hearts.
but they never blamed each other, but rather themselves, and the damn cultists that took her.
thats all they learned about the people who took her, that they were worshipers of some ‘pure world’ ideal, and kidnapped children from all over.
to the brothers, they thought, maybe if they never went to that festival, maybe she’d still be there.
If they had just not went to see that damn flower falling festival.
It’s all my fault.

haitani brothers just taking haitani senju around with them everywhere to like meetings and shit and sanzu just. has to deal with that
Ran and Rindou would 100% do it on purpose too, invite Senju everywhere to just annoy Sanzu. Sanzu just glares at them the whole time and when they notice the glaring they pull Senju behind them and turn to Sanzu like "got a problem with OUR sister?" Senju just grins at Sanzu from behind her new adoptive brothers and sticks her tongue out at him.
Tumblr media
Similarly there's also a situation where Takeomi runs into Senju and her new brothers when walking down the street. He gasps and does a double take when he recognises her.
