i've been streaming a blind playthrough of hollow knight to 2 groups of people for the past month and a half and i really wanted to share some of my favorite experiences ><

Marissa, victimized by an infection

I came up with the concept of an infected Marissa who could become a secret boss in the game

When you come to her for the first time, she behaves as usual and asks you to listen to her song. You sit down in your seat, listen, she thanks you, and you leave. However, if you don't convert her into essence right away, the next time you visit her, she changes her appearance a little, and again asks you to listen to her sing, a little more insistently. As a result, with each of your visits, the signs that she is infected will become more obvious, and she will ask you to stay more and more intrusive, until finally she wants you to listen to her forever, and then the boss fight will happen

I think the Radiance captured her mind with bright memories of her beloved city and its inhabitants, now stricken by the plague, of her bright concerts and former glory, and of close friends who disappeared, were infected or were preparing to fall asleep forever. Most likely, she died possessed by these visions, and her ghost, who remained on the stage, unaware of his death, was also possessed

Some ideas about PK as a boss fight/pantheon fight. this would probably be if godseeker arrived at Hallownest while it was at its peak.

So He'd probably have 3 forms, two of them would be in the pantheon at the same time and the third would be post canon.

The Pale Wyrm: the Burrowing God of Fang and Maw

Challenge the thoughtless god of hunger

This fight would basically be against the arena? like the entire arena was just different parts of the wyrm and you had to hit specific weakpoints in his armor to actually damage him. He'd probably be like NKG and have no set pattern. I imagine he'd have a couple of lunges where his mouth takes up like half the screen, and some magic attacks that require super good timing to doge. This bitch probably deals like at least 2 masks, probably 3 though.

The Pale King: The Light, Blinding

Standing at the peak of all gods, my light becomes the beacon, bask in my pale glow.

This is his form that most closely mimics the radiance fight, but instead of ascending you descend. He's way smaller than most bosses so that a struggle for sure. Still hits like a truck though. He'd have an attack where he stabs at you with his trident and he can push you around with wind magic. When he's about to lose he throws up a seal of binding at you and sends you to the dream, you've gotta complete a white palace esque platforming section to break it and kick his ass. When beat his mask cracks like it does when Ghost hits him on his throne.

The Fallen King: the Dead God of regrets/The Light Tarnished/

seek the God of refuse and regret.

This would be the void corrupted form of the pale king, itd probably be something like little ghost posessing him, and you'd fight him as hornet. Or its just him after the radiance dies and he wakes up coughing out void and is half dead, this fight would be way easier and you'd get the choice to spare him or kill him. killing him would probably send the fight into a phase two where he becomes an amalgam of void and pale light, at this point the fight would be insanely hard, like only 1/100 people kill this phase hard.

anyway just some thoughts for you(in case you didn't notice im p bad at making bossfights.
