Kirimina day 2: Didn’t Count

Class 1-A was engaged difficult exercise against an army of robots so fierce the young heroes to be were worried that there instructors had gone to far.

“There will times when you find your self overwhelmed by sheer numbers.” Explained Aizawa Sensei. “In theses times the best course is to use teamwork. There will be times when you will not have experience with who you are working with and you will improvise. That said there will be no set teams you are all starting at different points at random. good luck.”

Eijirou Kirishima, Red Riot, was anxious to get started. His Quirk,Hardening, was well suited to teamwork no matter who he was paired with. The starting buzzer sounded and he was off. Keeping an an eye on his surroundings and ear out for the enemy not quite sure what to expect. It was not “EYES OPEN AND HEADS UP IDIOT!!!” A fierce explosion sounded ove Kirishima’s head. Shocked he looked up to see a robot in pieces and his class mate and friend Bakugou descending along with the debris. “Thanks Bakugo. I didn’t see that thing coming.” “No shit Sherlock!” Bakugo was in rare form, even for him. “These things are moving with much more tact than the ones we’ve fought before” he explained. “Get wise or get dead.” With that he flew off using one of his explosions. “We’re supposed to work together though,,,” Kirishima mumbled, not really caring if his friend heard him. Engaging his quirk to harden his body he continued onward.

At a different point of the city Mina Ashido, Pinky, was taking to the rooftops using her Acid Quirk to for hand and foot holds to get there. “Kay! What are we looking for?..” No sooner did she ask, a robot appeared in front of her, With a cry of joy Ashido clapped her hands together and shot a stream of acid at the robot cutting through its main cpu and wrecking it instantly. “Don’t need to hold back against metal do I?” Two more robots flew up and charged the pink heroin, using her acid to create a slide she slid and jumped to the neighboring rooftop.

Kirishima was feeling very good with himself. He’d taken out 3 robots, taking a hit for a distracted Aoyama to take another one. Really getting into the impromptu teamwork thing he felt like he was unstoppable. Then the robot fell on him. “Glad I’m me.” The red head muttered shucking off the disabled bot. He looked up and saw Ashido mid jump a pair of robots on her tail. “Aoyama!” he called. “I’m going to help Ashido!” Aoyama turned with his trademark snarky smile. “Who am I to come between love, oui? Pretending he didn’t here that Kirishma chased after his classmate.

“Come on at least make it a challenge for me!” Mina was on top of the world, Using her acid she took out one her pursuers, leaving it to crash on the rooftop. the second boosted its speed and tackled Ashido, in response she shoved both hands at the head flooding it with corrosive liquid. She was feeling so good and enjoying herself so much that she didn’t see that the robot had pushed her away from any nearby rooftops. Panic replaced her ecstacy, completely unsure what to do she clung to the robot and prayed she would survive. “ASHIDO!!!” Mina’s head shot up recognizing the voice of Kirishima “HANG TIGHT! i’LL CATCH YOU!” Kirishima raced to the area of impact arms outstretched. Pulling on all of his will power he pushed his quirk to its absolute limit. UNBREAKABLE!!! The machine crashed against the young hero, with all of willpower not to crush the machine but simply hold it. “Okay! I’m clear Eijirou!” Mina called. With a roar of manliness Kirishima slammed the wrecked machine. Breathing heavily he looked to the pink girl. “Are you alri-” He was Interrupted by Mina Rushing forward and planting her lips on his, shocked he didn’t know what to do. Mina released Kirishima and realised what she had done. “Ummmm….Maybe we should go see if we help the others…” she mumbled, clearly embarrassed. Kirishima nodded, still shocked by the kiss, his first kiss…With the girl he loved…

At the end of the exercise class 1-A was exhausted, everyone injured and quirks spent. Aizawa Sensei declared that as a whole the class passed, but had a lot of room for improvement. Grandstanding. Stubbornness. Distracted with emotions. That last one seemed to be aimed at Kirishima and Mina. He didn’t say anything but they still gulped in fear of what their teacher might say in front of their peers. But he didn’t he dismissed class and suggested everyone go take a shower, they needed it.

That night back at the dorms Kirishima laid on the bed in his dorm thinking of what could have been different. How he could have been better. Why didn’t he kiss her back…Frustrated with himself he was about to yell into his hands when he heard a knock at his door. It was Mina. Standing there the two feeling incredibly awkward. “Listen Ashido…” Kirishima started. “Eijirou…” Mina said at the same time. They stared in silence then laughed, he signaled for her to go ahead. “I just wanted to say thank you…for saving me…” She squirmed in place standing there. “It was no problem.” He was relieved that this was what she wanted to talk about. “It’s not like I was going to let you get hurt. what kind of fri-” “THAT KISS DID NOT COUNT!” Mina suddenly yelled, turning a darker shade of pink. Kirishima was stunned. “I will not let people say that my first kiss was something brought on by adrenaline! So it did not count hear me!?” Tears were coming down the girls face. Kirishima began to panic. “No! I mean yes I hear you! I get that it doesn’t count. If you don’t want it to I mean…” He began rambling trying to find the write words. Mina began laughing. and still crying. Kirishima stopped talking. His hands rose to her face and brushed away the tears. Her hands covered his. They locked eyes. leaned in. Kirishima kissed Mina. Mina kissed Kirishima. In that moment they were the only to people in the world.

“YES!!!! Mineta your doing my homework for a week!” The electric dunce, Kaminari called out.

“NO!!!!!!!” Cried out the living embodiment of perversion

“Congrats! you two finally kissed!” Uraraka and Hagakure came around a corner cheering.

“What is with all the noise in the hall at this hour!” Demanded mr.exit-sign Iida.

Embarrassed at the reactions of their class mates the couple looked at each other and smiled. “I’ll go get Kaminari and you get Mineta?”Kirishima asked

“Just try and stop me.” Mina dashed towards her smaller peer with murder in her eyes.
