first qualifying in the paddock was a rollercoaster of emotions, not the result we were hoping for, expected or wanted but its ok because oscars gonna smash it tomorrow and we’ll pretend today didnt happen!!

hii ^^ could you possibly write something for taemin where you guys are doing that chapstick challenge where you put on different chapsticks and he has to kiss you to guess what flavor it is. Or even that one tiktok trend where you smudge your lipstick and then he goes to fix it and the camera turns and he has lipstick marks all over his face. 🙏🙏

You re-align your camera, trying to get a perfect view of the corner of your room. It was the only place that wouldn't have any reflection of the rest of your space. It wasn't that the 70% was dirty or unseemly for an influencer, but most of the time it was to hide the man with the shit eating grin, trying to distract you from creating any good content while he was around.

"Jagiya, I feel offended, you really are trying to hide me huh?" Taemin whines as he catched his hoodie with his face.

It has been 20 minutes since you tried to make sure that you were trying to hide items that might relate to him. Chucking items left and right, out of sight.

"You know, none of my stuff will link back to me...", he lets out a sigh, pouting as he sits on the other side of the phone setup, fiddling with various cases of lipbalms, with the labels frayed and torn off. "Beside you want to live stream don't you?"

It's no secret to those who follow you, that you have a boyfriend and make the excuse that he was the one who isn't interested in being in front of the camera and would rather support you from the side, hidden. Taemin smiled as he picks up of the chapstick and quickly swips the bullet against his lips, before making kissing noises, his lips puckered and pointed at you with that stupid smile on his face. "You're an idiot if you just want a kiss, an plus that's for the challenge!", you cried out halfheartedly as you slide into the seat with a spare phone in hand, ready to post a story that you were about to go on live soon.

For weeks, Taemin was very into the idea of at least making sure that your viewers didn't think you were full of shit by saying you had a boyfriend and just didn't want to show him off. Haters often comment that you were lying and you were completely 'motae solo'. Soon it went viral that you were single and delusional when in fact you had purposedly shoved Taemin into the bushes during one of your walks when Dispactch caught you walking at night by the Han River.

You re-adjust yourself in your seat, counting the numbers of people who had viewed your story before turning on your Insta live and sat back, waiting for your viewers to come in. Your fortnight lives was something that you enjoyed doing, whether it was cooking challenges or just late night pillow talk, you were appreciative of the fans who had swarmed in from TikTok, to join you in your lives.

Soon, you were greeting your followers, conversing with them through the comments they have left and began to introduce the fact that your partner was behind the camera, really wanting to do the chapstick challenge with you. Taemin had caused a ruckus by trying to slide one your indoor clothes line into view, with a perfectly draped sheet on it, so he could hide behind it.

Meanwhile, the comments were in a frenzy, saying how they had never heard you sound so relaxed and giggly before. Some comments were even teasing you to pull down the sheets so they could see your boyfriend. It came to the time where Taemin had reapplied the lipbalm he kept on hand, yelling at you to taste him already.

At his comment, you snorted and laughed, deeming his words as inappropriate because people might take it the wrong way.

"Yeobo, fine, shut up!" You laughed as you wheeled your chair towards the curtain and dart your head to peck his lips before popping out so the viewers could see you smack your lips, hmm-ing and haa-ing about the flavour.

"Cherry?"

"Oh? Is it? I don't know.." Taemin teased.

"What do you mean?", you asked bewildered, reaching back behind the curtains to grab the component out of his hand and reading the underside of it where you had written the flavour. "Ya. Lee-ssi, you need to read the bottom! The fans will get angry at you!", you laughed in defeat as Taemin lets out a loud giggle, enough for the fans to comment about it. "It was cherry by the way.", you speak to the camera.

You reached forward to grab another two unlabelled chapsticks, throwing one towards the back of the curtain for Taemin to catch as you apply one on yourself, the distinct smell and flavour should be easy for him. "All right, I'm ready.", you grinned before moving your head.

An aggravated groan left your throat as you saw Taemin, sheepishly applying the new flavoured balm on his lips. "Yah..", you put out a struggled smile as you were fully slumped into your seat, one hand on your face, massaging your temples. "It's supposed to be my turn, for you to guess the flavour...", you whined as your eyes catch the over flowing number of laughing emojis dancing across the screen.

"Ah okay okay, I got too excited.", Taemin giggles, attempting to wipe his lips before puckering them again for you to kiss.

You lean in to peck his lips, hoping that he would get the right answer. "Ahh! Lemon!", his answer was too confident for your liking.

You had shifted back closer to the phone, to look at the comments with an unamused look on your face saying "No." to his guess, encouraging to try again. Taemin went suddenly quiet, and through the screen, behind the draped sheets, you could see two arms pop out holding a phone with your livestream playing. "Yah, you look shit, when you are pouting like that.", he laughs, teasing you like always.

"What?! You are such an idiot." you breathed out in defeat as the viewers teased that your boyfriend, is such a troublemaker and seems to get a kick out of annoying you.

"Yes, everyone, he has been the bane of my existence for a year now."

"A year?! I'm hurting..."

"Okay, two??? Three?"

"Probably halfway to three? Way before I joined the army."

"Almost three years, he has been a pain in my head" you smiled towards the camera before looking back at the sheets, now seeing the faint glow of a phone screen behind them.

"Was it orange?" He finally comments out.

"Yes... Your turn.", you let out a sigh before returning to look behind the improv-ed covers to see Taemin, smiling at you. He couldn't resist and held your seat by the armrest and pulled your seat towards him so he could plant a soft kiss on your lips before peppering small pecks around your face. Taemin lets out a small cackle before pushing your seat out, causing it to roll back to your desk.

The seat was still swiveled to face him and as you turned around you made your guess. "Was that strawberry? It tasted like strawberries." you muttered.

As you turn to face the camera, it took a while for you to process that the lighting in the room, made it hard for you to discern that your face was now covered in faint tints of pink kisses. While inspecting your face through the screen, you could see Taemin's hands slowly sliding out from the side with his thumbs up followed by an 'okay' sign followed by a series of breathless laughter. "You look like I just mawled you."

"Wow, y/n eonnie, he must really love you. Wah eonnie, you are so lucky.", you read out the comments out loud, snickering at each one, which made you blush.

"Why does he have such femenine lips?", Taemins voice erupted from behind the sheet. "Reported!"

"Imagine if that isn't her boyfriend... Reported." he continues on.

You placed your arm on the desk, propping your chin up as you converse through the comments asking that you should make a TikTok with him right now. You stated once more, you weren't sure what challenge you could do that wouldn't impede on his privacy and internally, it disheartened you that you couldn't scream to the world that you were in love with someone without saying his name, and Taemin couldn't think of ways to console you. He wasn't afraid to admit he was in a relationship with you and it wasn't the first time you two had been linked together anyway. But you kept rejecting the idea because you assumed, both of you may not have the mental constitution to keep fighting the haters.

A couple minutes went by and you resumed doing the chapstick challenge, commenting there was probably 4 more flavours to try. Each one turned more chaotic as Taemin had caused a scene because he was determined to shift the sheet screen closer so he could steal he muscat grape chapstick from your desk without being seen. Your spare phone lit up from under you with a message from Taemin with a link. You opened it up to see the new lipstick tiktok trend and underneath the link, he messages you once more. 'My love let's do this...'

Before you could even collect your thoughts, Taemin spoke out once more, now speaking towards your viewers. "Everyone! Be patient right now, we'll film something okay?"

"Really??", your eyes widened, unsure how to react.

Taemin stood up, his head was just fortunately cut off from view of the camera. He mouths a few words which you understood as, 'lower the camera so we can walk around comfortably'. You followed through, lowering the camera so it focused more on your desk, but still had enough view to see that you and your boyfriend can now be seen from the waist down and were now walking around and there were indeed two people in the room.

"We still have the stream running up and we are viewing it through another phone, so we can still read comments and respond to everyone" you called out cheerfully, hoping the numbers don't die down.

You quickly grab a dark lipstick and carefully applied while Taemin looked at you with such an endearing stare. "Please god tell me why I was gifted such a beautiful partner.", he gleefully jumps and down, barely controlling his excitement.

"Such a con-man, you are only doing this because you are on camera my love."

Effortlessly, your lips began to retaliate with kisses across Taemin's face, each time, he giggles. Every time he checks his reflection through his phone camera he would voice out his displeasement that some of the kiss marks were uneven and that you should either kiss his face harder, or top up your lipstick.

Y/N-nie, what was the most stupid thing he did?

"Oh...? There was that time he said he could walk across the frozen pond and if he got to the other side, I owed him a new kitten", you started much to Taemin's behest. "Well.. He fell halfway in and was super super grumpy but I got him a grey and white kitten a week later."

Once he was satisfied with his over all look, Taemin takes off the jacket he was wearing, boldly showcasing more of his figure, but in his head, no doubt people wouldn't confuse him with a look-a-like, people would know it was him. Lee Taemin.

How did you two meet?

"We met an an event. She was panicking so hard she skipped greeting me and shook hands with my friend instead." Taemin replied, causing you to smack his chest.

The lipsticks swipes across your lips for the final time to get it even before asking your boyfriend if he was ready to film. He passes a phone to you, with the front camera at the ready. You proceed to start recording with one hand while lipstick in the other, bumping your arm to cause a smudge at your lower lip.

As Taemin's hand reaches up to caress your cheek, he guides you by the chin to look at him as you pan the camera towards him, his side profile in sight, obviously covered with stamps of your painted lips, looking at you lovingly before casting a devilish grin from the corner of his lips. The camera pulls back slightly, so that both of you were in frame, smiling contently as you look at each other, before facing the camera with a cheeky smile as he pecks your cheeks, leaving another faint tint of the strawberry chapstick.

As far as content making goes, it was perfect and you felt like if you could, you would post it as is, one try, one take. But you saved it as draft after viewing it and placed the phone down. Commenting out loud, there was no need to redo it, it looked perfect enough, Taemin agreed with you before adding that he thinks it would go viral. Your head spins to throw him a frown and pout, objecting to the idea despite the fact he knows, how much you would love the thought of finally no longer keeping things a secret.

You and Taemin giggle at the following comments before he lunges behind the camera as you tilt your phone upwards, letting it re-focus as you waited in front of it as you continue talking to Taemin. It was obvious to anyone who was watching you that you loved your boyfriend so much. Your eyes were so soft and endearing towards him and you looked at him as if it was he first time you saw him and Cupid had his arrow at the ready.

"Hmm, I'm not sure I'll post it, but it's on drafts so you never know", you sang in a sweet teasing tone. "But please ask questions.."

Y/N eonnie's boyfriend. Do you think, eonnie is the one?

"Do you think I'm the one?"

"Everyday.", Taemin replied eliciting causing a reaction on your face that could only be described as look of awe and constant realization how in love with you were.

An hour had somehow passed by and Taemin was more than happy to air out embarrassing stories, habits of yours that he found adorable and personal questions about his likes and dislikes. Everyone was ecstatic to know that he was more keen in being in lives if he was allowed to be more present.

"Everyone.. Once I finally reveal myself, hopefully you keep on supporting y/n and us." Taemin announced.

"Jagiya, you are giving them too much hope, we have to end the stream soon and get to our dinner with your...friends..", the last word caused you to stumble almost saying 'manager', which might imply that your boyfriend was somewhat more of a big-deal.

You were finally addressing your goodbyes reminding your viewers that you will be back on again and on your next post that they should comment what they would like to see next. However your attention was caught by the alarming statements that flooded your screen.

Wait is this real? Eonnie? You are a lucky bitch. How the heck did you catch a guy like him. Gosh you could see it his eyes, this isn't a joke. Y/N and Taemin look good together. Is 'dinner with friends', actually dinner with SHINee?

The last two comments had made you dizzy in your seat. What was going on? Your hands would instinctively fumble around your desk so you could find your phone to check what was going on. If it weren't for Taemin, clearing his throat you wouldn't have looked up at him. There he was leaning over he desk, resting on one hand while the other was waving his phone with the screen pointed out to you.

It had not occurred to you that it was your tiktok account that was logged in on his phone and while you were too distracted trying to read the comments, Taemin had handed his phone to you to film instead and while he was answering questions, he was oddly pre-occupied with his phone. From what you could see between his phone and how your spare phone is going insane with notifications. You quickly open your phone to check. It was official. Taemin had posted the video on your behalf and even linked it in Instgram, tagging his ID.

"I'm not scared to tell the world that I love you. So I posted it.", he smiled.

Taemin smirked as worry had set on your face, lips slightly gaped in shock as Taemin made the first move to publicize your relationship. Like he was the first one to say I love you almost three years ago. Like he was the first one to chase after you after a serious argument. Like he was the first one to do informal introductions with his family.

The woman was too stunned to speak kekekeke. Holy shit, she really didn't expect this. You guuuys, you are too cute. Please don't break each other's heart.

Taemin quickly rushed around the table and knelt down beside your seat, wrapping an arm around you. Your eyes followed his line of movement, never breaking away, so many questions in your head and so much more emotions. Primarily, you were ready to cry.

"Okay, while y/n recovers, see you in two weeks guys!", he waves towards the camera.

Your body slumps down onto the desk, struggling to let out a pained chuckle before sitting up slightly to cover your suddenly flushed face with your hands. You were so embarrassed that you continued to try hide your face with one hand as you waved at the camera.

"You are insane Lee Taemin. You idiot", you giggle, smacking his shoulders playfully in a repeated manner as he leans forward to end the livestream, flashing a playful grin and thumbs up as it cuts and the live has ended.

"Yeah, I'm insane about you, but now we don't have to hide it anymore. Plus, the old Dispatch articles didn't have a lot of hate comments on it...", he calmly stands up and leans on the edge of the desk,

"Yeah.. But your fans are going to rip me apart... I'm not really.. Conventional?"

"We'll figure it out okay?"

"Okay..."

"So... It was viral years ago. But do you think fans will realize you were the girl at the fan event and you struggled to shake hands with me and greeting Onew hyung instead?"

"Yes, because Onew laughed at you because you kept your hands out waiting and just shook your own hands when I didn't go back to you.."

Taemin rolls his eyes, remembering the video in question, reaching forward to pull the seat you were in, closer to him. He rests each hand on an arm rest and looks down at you with, kissing the crown of your head before catching your lips.

"Well now I got you back, and you are mine.."

I’m dreading the third game of Spiderman might kill off Harry :/ either he’s goblin (solo or probably along with daddy-o) and dies a la Hero Sacrifice. Or kept comatose and in the end with grim results the decision is to pull the plug on him. idk I feel Harry’s fate is doom and gloom. But they could have killed Harry at the end of this sequel giving a strong motivation for Norman to be the Goblin and hatred for Spider-Man…yet they didn’t. idk rambling thoughts. What do you think?

Personally i can see both options. I saw someone in the tags of my last headcanon post say that it wouldnt make sense to save him from death in this game only to kill him in the next. On some level i get that, why wait when you could do it now?

I have two worst case scenarios in my head:

Harry wakes up from his coma w amnesia a la the third Tobey Maguire movie. Hes unaware of Pete being Spider-Man and Peter, thinking hes protecting Harry, wont tell him. This may cause a rift in their friendship when Harry finds out - or if Norman ends up going goblin and dies - Spider-Man is to blame in Harrys eyes and he'll go after him then. To me this is a tired trope of Harry getting an intense hatred for Spidey and wanting to kill him over his father. It always felt out of character for me and i truly TRULY hope they dont go this route.

Harry becomes the Kobold. In the comics, Kobold is essentially Harrys way of making the Green Goblin a good guy. If he still wants to fight by Peters side, he'll find a way to do it. Kobold would make a lot of sense to me personally, as it kind of continues their dynamic from this game. Then at the end theres a heros sacrifice to be made and Harry goes for it despite Peters protests. This would be lazy to me too though because he essential already did the heros sacrifice in this game. Seems like theyd just want us to have more time with him to love him even more, just to make losing him hurt worse. I wouldn't put it past an intrepid writer to think they could make it work, but it just seems lazy to me.

Actual best case scenario for me though? Harry wakes up as the g-serum is being injected. Hes against being his dads experiment all over again so he runs and finds Peter. Hes not aware of his pseudo-retirement, he just goes straight to the place thats always been his safe haven; Peters home. He asks Peter to hide him from his dad. Tries to explain everything but hes exhausted and frantic. Peter agrees and they take him into hiding.

Norman, ever the expert deflector, doesnt see this as a failing on his part. Hes convinced spider-man had something to do with his son escaping so he puts out a hit on him. Hes ready, willing, and able to capture and kill at least one of the two spider-men it doesnt matter. We see him pardon Wilson Fisk for this job, and when Fisk cant do it, he has to. Normans going to go Goblin. I know it, i can feel it in my bones.

Miles asks Peter to get back in action and he does. Fisk, plus potentially Otto again, plus this brand new villain in town is too much for any one person to handle. Heres where i see Harry becoming a "Guy In The Chair" for Peter like Ganke is for Miles. Two Guys in the Chair helping the spider-men is definitely better than one. I could also see Harrys goblin powers start to emerge but he keeps pushing them down. Last time he gave into power it didnt end well for anyone.

In an effort to not write out the entire plot of the game as i see fit (because itd be long and there are so many moving pieces and characters and IDEK WHERE THEYRE GONNA PUT SILK IN-), i think if Harry does take on the cowl he'll be doing so against his father. I think i see Harry becoming Goblin/Kobold to fight against Norman and ultimately try to help Peter/Miles. This is where i see Harry either accidentally killing Norman or Norman killing his son (and of course, blaming Spider-Man)

There is also room, in my mind, to bring back Venom a la Lethal Protector/Agent Venom. But tbh if they do, i would much rather Venom go to Eddie Brock or Flash Thompson. But thats just the separate Venom Fangirl Entity within me.

was having banri thoughts lately just bc like. why not right. and then i suddenly remember u mentioning that some ppl... did not like banri at the start? which is wild to me bc in my mind ive always been ride or die for him. like i love juza so much but i feel like. that doesnt rly oppose liking banris character as well? banri is such fun character drama at the beginning of autumn and then his and itarus dynamic is fun from the start... gosh and the acting in the final bits of the autumn troupe between him and juza! suchhh fun tension. like. idk. it just started making me think like wow. digging thru a3 on my own with mostly the influence of like, just you has probably skewed my opinion of what the common perception of a3 is like. for example in my head winter is the most popular troupe which... it maybe isnt? i feel like recently i saw u mention summer might be the most popular(? this couldve been a dream) and i didnt realize itaru was super popular until like. last month. i mean if i had to pick a character i thought was the most popular i'd pick. misumi.

yeah i doubt i'm exactly the "common a3 experience" but to be perfectly honest i haven’t really kept tabs on the fandom per se since hh mid-2020 when i started to dig into some tags and saw so much negativity i was just :/ and stopped doing so (the curse to liking rascals </3).

Nowadays my knowledge of the a3 fandom is mostly the people interreacting with me, which already generally means that they vibe with what i post, so it gives me a skewed vision of the fandom like, are we all like that? or are the loud voices that made me go avoid the tag still here yaknow?

More stuff under cut

For Banri, i'll admit i wasn't too hot about him when i started the game, which now i regret so bad because he's my precious little meow meow hands down. He has such a good arc!!!! I know in my case i just had a hard time because i cared for Juza right away and i was still so high on Summer's development i kept comparing Banri to Tenma and going "here's why Tenma is amazing and Banri is cringefail". But it lasted me until a bit before Banri sees the portraits, when he starts to be conflicted, after that i was all, oh wait i like that guy. And then the more content i saw of him the more i loved him and he became my fav Autumn Chara. (so if you want to ramble about him more you’re free to do so because i’m team i adore this guy. please do. you’re so right in what you say of him.)

But so i did expect people to have my experience - hard time in the beginning, then mellowing on him before the end of the Autumn Chapter. And it wasn't the case 😭😭😭😭 At least at the time, the Banri's takes were rancid. Like it was genuinely annoying at a point, you couldn't go anywhere without some Banri bashing fuckery, even after his initial arc, people just. really hated him. My most hated takes were that i saw so many people say Banri would bully Yuki or stuff implying they would have an antagonistic relationship and it's probably why i cling to Into the Night so much, like HELL you're going to twist one of my fav crosstroupe dynamic!!! I legit saw so many things reducing Banri to a menace and a bully, and if not that, talking about how much everyone in the dorm hated him, and it was really driving me insane then.

I remember once making a post about how i was so close to blacklist "Banri" because people didn't filter this bashing with tags so i was just ready to just, not see Banri anymore, but it was breaking my heart. But somehow after this post i got a few people coming back at me about how it annoyed them too and i saw some of those people make their own posts in a more. direct way. and after that i never saw Banri bashing again. My power (< absolutely not, coincidence at best i'm sure).

A lot of Banri bashing i saw back then were from "newcomers" in the sense that it was after the anime aired, and a lot of people were just coming in without knowing about the events. imo i think the events do help giving a better feel to Banri in general so the fact people were fresh from the anime might have skewed things. I remember a friend who was in that case, newcomer and all, only read the main story, didn't like Banri after reading the main story. Then, Main story act 2 came out and while they didn't read the events, they read the main story and they started liking Banri there (because he did develop so much since then)

And as a whole i'd say, by act 2 it must have died out a bit.

There's another chara who gets bashed a lot but. Act 2 stuff 😔. Unfortunately a chara i like a lot so this was my breaking point of "i'm not checking the tags anymore none of you know how to behave". I think it mellowed since then? and i know the chara is popular in the JPN fandom meanwhile.

else i've seen like, Tasuku having very little content from fans and a few people being mean to him when they talked about him, but it was a long time ago and i sure hope it died out. I don't think i'd say he's bashed, more that most folks don't have strong feelings about him and stopped just with a bitter taste over his anger toward Tsumugi in the first winter chap.

Now. About popularity, Winter is DEF NOT the most popular troupe. Pretty sure it plays between Autumn and Summer in term of popularity. That said it's not like any of the troupes are unpopular so any ramblings about each Troupe would be meet with pleased reactions from the fandom, so it is harder to gauge that but yeah.

Troupewise something i noticed is that i think Summer is the most popular in term of GROUP, while Autumn is the most popular in term of Individuals. So a lot of people liked Summer specifically for their dynamic and how each of those charas played out each other more than individually liking each of them, while for Autumn it was, they liked all of them strongly! not specifically for their dynamic, though of course it plays a part, but as individuals. I mention it because i think it was the key difference in rank up in why i think Summer plays were okay to rank up to while Autumn were a nightmare. (that said that can also be "blamed" on "fans gravitate around characters that have elements they have as well" or something which means Autumn fans were more likely to be competitive and stubborn in a way Summer were more mellow.)

Itaru is definitely the most popular character of the whole game, period. It's not even a competition at this point it's so funny. when the EN server was live, anytime Itaru had a rank up card was a bloodbath (< survivor of Kniroun ranking up at 0.2%. Didn't sleep normally for the whole duration of the event it was so much.).

By the end of the server things were dying out a bit but still in general you could get a vague idea of popularity by how wild the rankings could be. For instance the fact Tasuku's ranking was a breeze without even trying was indicative of how he's not that popular.

In general i've noticed, at the time at least, that Winter ranks up were rather easy. I've ranked up for a few of Summer and i didn't see much of a problem otherwise*. Spring was really chill unless Itaru was in rank up. Autumn was THE Bloodbath. There were Autumn Stans organziation all over, the appp SYSTEMATICALLY broke EVERYTIME Autumn was around, it was always much more challenging, so yeah man.

Misumi* is probably the one i'd consider the second most popular character of the game, pretty much.

(*The funny thing is that Misumi got his lead play very early in the server's history, and i know i ranked up for him then and i didn't think it was too hard. In retrospect i'm sure it has more to do with the fact the game didn't have as many people playing it, than it had to do with popularity, so my word on Summer not being a problem is based on weird stats)

A while ago, for the Taiwanese server, there was a special set of cards in term of popularity on this server. Itaru got a SSR, Masumi got a SR, and Misumi got a R.

Masumi is in a weird position because i'd say he's fairly unpopular in the EN server, while he's popular in the JPN and Taiwanese server. Honestly i'm assuming he's especially popular with the teen audience.

AND THE MOST TELLING PART:

The first Cross-troupe's play was involving the most popular character of each troupe, by a poll being made by the JPN server. The leads were Itaru and Banri, then Misumi as a secondary character and Tsumugi as a more support character.

Meaning at the time, this was the order of the 4 most popular characters of the game.

When the mixed troupe event came to the English server, i remember a poll circulating on tumblr and likely twitter as well, trying to see if the EN Server had different favorites. Itaru still came on top, Misumi followed closely afterward. For Autumn, it was Juza and Taichi that were on the top of the Autumn poll, not Banri, and for Winter, i think it was still Tsumugi but Homare was very close behind.

So that was the popularity at least back then, god knows opinions now.

I've seen Homare be extremely popular on tumblr for sure. I have no doubt in Juza's popularity as well.

I saw a lot of Taichi fan going "Taichi is underappreciated" but i saw so many of them i was kinda just thinking "bro i'm pretty sure Taichi is in the popular character squad by now" But i'm also on the other hand as i've once seen a post saying Hisoka was popular and it stunned me a moment going ????? because as a huge Hisoka stan i don't see it???? There's a few devoted fans, and he has a better fanbase in JPN server, but in EN server??? (I'm comparing the last rank up for Hisoka VS the last rank up for Taichi in my mind and i genuinely don't see it for instance) so i also think it's likely i have a "fav blindspot" where i just don't think people are vibing with the charas the way i'm vibing, just. exactly like what i'm talking about with the Taichi stans so.... (that said i also once was tagged in a post that was going "i don't think i've ever seen a Hisoka or Tasuku stan" and a friend just went @ icha come here. Schrodinger Hisoka who's both popular and unpopular depending on who you're asking. And Tasuku IS MY UNDERRATED MEOW MEOW)

I think i recall Tenma being popular for a time, and Yuki is well appreciated by everyone around here. Kazunari has a loud fanbase but i'm pretty sure the seiyuu thing was a huge blow to them and a lot of them got more quiet at the time.

And for what it's worth i do think there's a sizeable portion of the fandom that really like Tsuzuru, but i think it's just, something you get to see a lot when a huge part of the fandom is creatives. And to be completely fair, Clockwork Heart is the one event i had a massive burn out at and didn't pay attention to the rankings at all, so i can't tell if people went really wild about it. And the next Tsuzuru rank up event was literally the last event of the EN server and i'm sure it's not indicative of anything since a lot of folks just didn't want to bother. So unlike the others were i'm using rank up as a gauge of popularity i can't tell how Tsuzuru's might influence his.

SO YEAH that's for what i could pick up BACK THEN, as i remind, i didn't really look deeply into the fandom itself. I'm really good in my corner so it might not actually be indicative of the fandom trends and i'm maybe completely off base.

Then about how, i, personally, don't represent the fandom, unless the fandom changed since then: When i first liveblogged a3, it was when the server was new and no one was on tumblr about it, so i was a little unfiltered from people's opinions. when i came back about a year later to comment on act 2, getting all worked up, and running then into the growing fanbase on this website, is when i started to run into fan takes and everything.

And, let's be clear, i came back because i was crying very hard over Hisoka and Azuma and the full Winter Troupe, and Chikage, so i really came here with my Big Winter Boots only talking about Winter and then Spring.

I ended up getting a feel of what people were talking about a lot at that time, and kinda ended up talking more about what i considered my Underrated Gems.

For instance, i absolutely adore Itaru. I ranked up for him, i've bleed for him, i love the dude. But he's so popular i figured i legit had nothing to say about him that a hundred people wouldn't have been able to say before. So i've mostly didn't really talk about him much despite loving him a LOT because i just didn't think i had anything to say. (now in my current reread i'm doing it so disconnected from what i know of the fandom that i indulged in talking more about how much i like him LMAO)

Meanwhile, there's characters i love that i know the fandom don't talk about much so i end up talking about them more, and it's the case of Tasuku. I wouldn't be surprised Tasuku is really low on most people's popular list. I'm just Not Most People and you're going to hear me ramble about that hunk of a man every few days or so.

I've made my niche in the Winter Troupe appreciation gang and i'm pretty sure by now a lot of other Winter people follow me as a result because i couldn't shut the fuck up, so then my perception of the fanbase gets skewed because i just think of Them ahah.

And there is the fact i adore the rookies, mainly Chikage and Guy, but don't talk about them so much mostly because they came out later in the main story and i've been rereading act 1 so many times instead,,, and didn't talk much about act 2 in case some people managed to save themselves from being spoiled (like you!!)

So my personal perception of a3 is probably not reflecting the whole a3 fanbase really much. God the amount of times i talked my friends's ears off about Winter, that they kinda just humored me without thinking much about it, until they found out one of the More Popular Chara (Itaru, Tenma and the whole Autumn Troupe mostly) and suddenly they're like *twirls hair* heeyy Icha tell us more about a3. It's genuinely so funny to me.

and again i don't know perhaps i'm full of shit, and it's not like i've kept tabs on the fandom recently either!

But that is at least a bit of what i remember in term of popularity and what i can say is that i shouldn't be taken as an example of the fanbase's views in general.

I'm vibing in my corner, and by experience, it usually meant i ended up talking about more niche things, but since i'm disconnected from the fandom i'm pretty sure i still have opinions that are popular opinions. So who knows! not me!

So yeah that's all i can say about the popularity of the a3 fandom. Def not an indication of it by me.

and it must be funny for you since you only really have me as your fandom gateaway because well. *waves at post* yeah.

part of me wishes Roxas couldve have more outward influence on Sora the way Ven did. granted, he arguably had an affect on Sora back in kh2, and while i dont remember if it was canon or even intended, that could be applied to both his appearance (his lighter hair, mostly) and his behavior (his hostility towards the organization members; ive seen this argued both as smth Roxas had influence over and purely based on Soras experiences thus far, and i believe in both personally) but Ven in kh3 was literally able to speak and somewhat act through him. im pretty sure this was meant to show that Ven was fully ready to awaken or smth like that, and that wasnt sonething that was needed for Roxas; hes alright, just needed a body/vessel for himself. but i still think itd be a cool way to express the earlier sentiment. and it wouldnt necessarily have to be Roxas "taking over" either, the manga shows very well how Roxas gives Sora strength from within and that he definitely does make a difference

to be fair tho...... whether that wouldve helped Sora in the moment that he gives in to his despair, im not sure. in kh2, both manga and game, hes in a very different mindset than kh3. in that part of the manga especially, despite thinking everyone (except Roxas) is gone for good, he still has the belief that they can live on within him. and that, plus the literal strength hes getting from Roxas, is keeping him going despite it all. in kh3 his self confidence is beyond fucked, and he truly believes in that moment that hes lost Everything, not just his friends. thats hard to come back from

i wonder if he were to remember that Roxas were still there, if that wouldve helped. whether for comfort in the way that hes not really alone then, or for motive to keep living bc if he dies then Roxas is gone too, or whatever reason, i think it couldve changed something, even if its just a little bit. hell, itd have been great if something like that happened afterwards in the final world. id like to think Roxas had a hand in Sora surviving ..... not sure how but its a nice thought. either way i do wish Sora n Roxas' connection and that moment they have in san fransokyo had more....... So his name is Dorathel Lefevbre (Dolly as a nickname) he's a sheep themed tiefling! his dad was a sheppard so he grew up arround sheep a lot and he got picked up by the circus after an angry mob burned down his house (and potentially parents) cause they were dumb and afraid and thought they were raising a demon he was lk 9 he didnt actually SEE them die but he also hasnt been back to his home town ever since cause untill he sees the graves they might still be alive so BUT yeah the circus is awesome its all feywild themed! theres a hag, a watter nympth a centaur, all kinds of fun stuff! the owner of the circus used to be lk royalty in the feywild but moved over and brought some of his friends to start a circus cause no one was impressed by magic over there Dorathel is a tight rope walker and sword swallower glamor bard, and his partner is Zazel or Zee for short(they/them), a changeling who also got a kinda shit life, their parents were dopplegangers who used zazel to scam people and tried to sell them to the circus for profit so the circus owner actually said yes to get them out of that shitty situation They re a bit older than dorathel but they became really good friends and then lovers and grew up together as an acting duo! doing stunts and acrobatic stuff together! Zazel is a swords bard/rogue multiclass and they re a knife thrower (so lots of performances together of them throwing knives and dorathel being the assistant) they re very much incredibly in love lk they re THAT annoying couple just being obnoxious over how much they love each other asjkdad they ve also broken each other out of jail a few times for getting into trouble the circus leader disapeared out of nowhere, left only his jacket that he wears now everywhere, so Dorathel's main mission in a campaign whenever i play him will be to look for clues for what happened while Zazel stays at the circus shapeshifting into the leader to keep up appearances and keep the show going. They ve talked about getting married but want it to be special so they both agreed to bet on who can make the most over dramatic insane proposal first askjd with the leader back to officiate them/walk them down the isle! i already got their wedding outfits ready and all! Dorathel is gonna spend all the time just either using Sending every day to check on them or just constnatly write letters back and forth akjsd have some art of them! ps! the golden ribbon thing they both have on the tail and neck, is made from 2 halfs of the first ticket they ever sold for their act together! this way they re always together (and dorathel can recognize Zazel no matter what shape they take <3)

thats mostly it i think! dorathel was my first ever dnd character and has gone through a lot of changes across the years, i put a lot of my self in him and its been a really great way to explore gender expression so he really means a lot to me, and its super fun to have 2 ocs super in love for whenever i wanna draw wholesome content, currently in a campaign with a different character cause it fit better thematically, so i cant wait to play with Dorathel one day! <3 hope you enjoy it and thank you again for asking! i draw nearly exclusively my own dnd characters so im always down to talk about them to whoever is interested ^^ (do feel free to dm me if you wanna/are comfortable to talk about any character of yours i d love to hear about them as well!)

So to simplify, she has essentially pissed off every ancestor I've ever had, because she fucked up, and thought my life plot stopped without her, because she treats people like games and roleplay and thinks she can narratively overwrite them, and it don't work like that, at least not where she's sitting sweetie. She can write her hearts dreams away, but I got 200 million up her ass writing over hers since she refuses to dismount my astral dick they're all metaphorically climbing now.

NO LEGIT SHE IS BASICALLY A MANIFESTATION BOMB, it's why the shit shows up on command so easy once things get twisted and turned enough, and she brings home a 50 lb foo dog with my red summoning eyes that freaks her out. Or pretends she ever posted about her fucking scorpion (or if she did I DIDNT KNOW AS A SINGULAR INDIVIDUAL BECAUSE I HAD BEEN TRYING TO IGNORE THE BITCH) and I literally call it to the field as a game joke seeing it in the potential cards and OH LOOK ITS HER DUMB FUCK SCORPION THAT DROWNS ITSELF IN THE WATER IT WONT STOP GORGING ON, SILLY GIRL, HER PLATES ARE SEPARATING, SHEA SAYS, WHILE COMPLAINING ABOUT ALL THE INEXPLICABLE SWELLING AND PAIN SHE HAS. I have so much shit up her ass and the home she basically turned into an altar to me BECAUSE SHE WONT READ A BOOK, it's all fucking... virtual systems ready bitch watch me spin your cat around until I find the fucking "house catches on fire from wire malfunction" button, I'm sure it's here somewhere, or we can just wait for the times she keeps getting directly jacked without realizing it, because she doesn't even know WHO she is to detect it, but leaves the most hilarious fucking confirming posts.

Her dad is literally building penis towers, and her sister, since around when this started, and she won't onboard the information, even when she accidentally admits her own shadow is in meltdown because again, she won't read a book, and doesn't understand what she confessed, because it made her feel special.

She sure got THOSE words stuck in her head when she thought it made her a goddess princess special peach, but man she tried to run from it like a dropped plotline once I dropped what it meant and why. She had NO CLUE I went through a massive state change a year ago and just thought she could keep fucking on fucking on with her crazy addiction, and she has LITERALLY been on my dick ever since. But because I was already close to it, she smelled the fucking. hermeneutic soul patch and couldn't resist shoving her nose up my ass everywhere and even training her fiance to lick it.

Beep. Beep. Beep. 

Steve was finding it harder and harder to recover after every rager the jocks threw, but it was what was expected of him right? King Steve was always meant to make an impression. 

Last night’s impression had ended with him falling into the pool and half of the laughter felt like it had been directed at him, rather than with him. He didn’t remember much of how he got out; there had been his jackets and jeans and boots weighing him down in the icy water. But he could recall the scraping of metal against his skin where someone’s hands had roughly dragged him to the shallow end and waded him out. A voice was cursing about it being the middle of winter and who would be lame enough to host a party around a pool and who was rich enough to leave a pool uncovered overwinter. 

He must have just stumbled his way upstairs and fallen into bed at that point, because Steve realized his clothes and sheets still had a dampness to them. He mentally cursed. If he got sick and couldn’t go to school, he’d be screwed; if his teachers didn’t fail him, his dad would certainly yell at him for being a deadbeat. 

As he rolled over, the drum beat against his skull worsened, and he flailed to reach his bedside table. He grabbed the glass of water and ibuprofen there, quickly downing some. He thanked his last night self for leaving it on the nightstand, but he couldn’t remember when he did. 

His alarm was still going off. He reached over to shut it off, groaning with the effort, and managed to drag himself out of bed to start the slow process of getting ready for school. Who threw parties on a  goddamn Sunday?

Eddie Munson had saved Steve Harrington’s life on three separate occasions, and the man had never had the decency to even thank him for it. Granted, each of those times had been while the jock had been either stoned or drunk out of his mind, but some common courtesy was expected. 

In his latest bender, the great King had misstepped into the deep end of a perfectly cleaned pool in the middle of winter. It had definitely been funny, and a little vindicating to see the high and mighty in a state of shambles and fallen grace. But the fun had tapered away when Eddie realized Steve had continued sinking and the rest of the party goers were too wrapped up in their own ridiculing to offer any help. After dragging his ass out of the pool and up the stairs, Eddie had even been kind enough to leave the guy some water and medicine for the next morning. Maybe that would get him a thank you. 

But as he rolled into his Lit 101 class, he knew he wouldn’t be getting that expression of gratitude. To those who only casually watched the King around school, Steve Harrington still looked like an image of perfection, his hair styled high and looking soft, and wearing the perfect set of clothes. He even had an attitude of not giving a fuck with his dark sunglasses resting on the bridge of his nose. 

Eddie Munson was no casual viewer of Steve Harrington. Embarrassingly, he’d come to be able to notice the small changes in Steve’s demeanor and his appearance that indicated the other man had gone through some shit. That shit was most often getting drunk with his friends, but on a few occasions, Eddie had seen the peeking out of a black eye and bruising on the arms of the younger male, suggesting a home life that wasn’t as perfect as everyone else thought. 

Eddie wondered how many teachers had tried and failed to get the King to remove those glasses, and if they’d been persuaded by his charm or his daddy’s money. 

“Good to see you lived, Your Majesty,” Eddie called over with a large sweep of his arm and a deep bow, grinning in Steve’s direction. 

That got him was a shake of the head and a look of disgust on Tommy and Carol’s face, the two assholes Steve always seemed to be hanging around, although Eddie noted the two weren’t even talking to Steve this morning. When was the last time Eddie had seen them at a high school game together? Eddie wasn’t a big fan of sports himself; he only ever went to sell to the band kids and some of the jocks after the games, but he had taken note of the comings and goings of the more popular kids in the school. 

Steve for his part merely glanced in Eddie’s direction, raising an eyebrow up from behind his sunglasses as if asking who Eddie even was, before looking back to the chalkboard as the bell rang and class began. 

“Take your seat, Mr. Munson. The world waits for no man, and I wait for no student,” Mr. Conrad chided before beginning his mind numbing lecture on remorse in literature.

At lunch, Eddie sat with his club mates and band members, picking at the sad excuse for a lunch that the cafeteria offered. Gareth was discussing new weapons and armor that had been introduced to the Dungeons and Dragons game for higher level characters, but Eddie was too preoccupied thinking about the events of the night before and what had happened that morning. With that, he was stuck thinking about the high school hierarchy and how he’d never had a conversation with Steve longer than it took to pass off some little baggies and receive cash in return. And Steve. Now he was thinking about Steve. The jock was infuriating overall, late to his morning classes and almost always eating something and leaving crumbs behind him. Looking up, Eddie was surprised to see how Steve had a full tray of food in front of him even now. They were already halfway through the lunch period, but it looked like Steve hadn’t even touched the food on the tray. The milk carton was still closed. As he watched, Steve started stacking salt packets together to make a tower. 

“Eddie. Hey, Eddie. Dude!” 

Suddenly his shoulder was being roughly shoved, and the trance Eddie was in had been broken. Gareth and his boys were staring at him expectantly. 

“What do you want?” Eddie asked with a frown. The troup rolled their eyes. 

“We asked if you had bought the new companion book yet dude, it's totally gonna sell out in this town,” one of the boys reiterated. Eddie scoffed at the question, rolling his eyes right back at them.

“Do you guys seriously doubt my skills? As much as I value the arcane and anachronistic writings in those books,” Eddie started, sarcasm dripping off every word, “I believe that the best quests are those we develop in our own minds.” He ended the last word with a long hiss, and punctuated it by bringing his hands up to his own head. This comment delved into a debate about the pros and cons of utilizing the books, and the beginnings of where to take their high level characters–retirement or otherwise–that lasted till the end of the lunch period. 

As Eddie walked to throw his trash away, he saw Steve ahead of him walking alone, and still wearing those asshole sunglasses. When God provided an opportunity to annoy, Eddie happily took it, and he hustled to catch up to Steve. And maybe Eddie was hoping this would be the time Steve finally said thank you with none of his other lackeys around. 

“Hey! Mr. Big Shot, just the guy I wanted to see!”A voice behind Steve exclaimed, with a hand clamping down on Steve’s shoulder. Steve jerked to a stop, turning to stare at one Eddie Munson in bewilderment. To Eddie, Steve was just giving him a frown while his eyes were hidden. 

Eddie Munson hesitated. How was he supposed to go about this? He could be smooth, he could be snarky, he could–

“You didn’t eat your lunch,” Eddie said lamely, noticing the still full tray in Steve’s hands. One milk carton unopened. 

The jock shifted from foot to foot, the frown on his face deepening. 

“What’s it matter to you, freak?”

Jeff is acting messy. He is only posting that photo of him and the back of Georgie’s head for attention. He’s obviously dying to scream it from the rooftops as he hasnt shut up talking about her since he declared he fell in love in Coachella and kissed her on the Ferris wheel. It was complicated the first week because of her not him. He seems he wants it to be official and she said just go with the flow. She doesnt want to be filmed or photographed with him but he posts him with his arm around her with her head turned on his instagram without tagging her but knowing that everyone will ask who she is and as most people already know who it is, they will tag her in the comments. ive already seen too people tag Georgie in the comments. He wants everyone to know its Georgie and by posting that photo he is forcing it as he knows people will tag her in the comments. if shes not ready to show her face and b tagged then dont show her at all.

Kinda strange how she always has no problem being photographed with Jared Leto but doesnt want to be seen with Jeff. Even last year when they were photographed crossing the street together and she was hiding her face so she didnt even want to be seen with him even as only a friend. ngl its kinda sus.

I think it's probably more minor than it seems, bc not everyone is going to care about the photo, weirdly only us and a few other commenters on other platforms even seem to bat an eyelid

I don't know why she has been private in the past, it's not what we're used to seeing for other celebrities, but maybe we'll hear directly from her one day?

chapter 2, dealing with heartbreak.

It had been approximately a 4 months since mase left, her mase. Saying she missed him would be a huge understatement, she craved his touch like the need for oxygen. She had hugged all his hoodies and other clothes of his until they no longer smell of him. Watching the odd sad fan edits of the both of them she would come across on twitter. She even went as far as to breaking down when eating her roast dinner at her nana, dropping tears all over her roast potatoes, her nan then giving her some advice about love and heart break. Explaining that if two people are really meant ti be together their souls will adventulalmy find their way back to each other, non the less that doesn't mean millie shouldn't move on with her life, 'he will come find you when your ready' she says. that's what made millie want to move in with the sidemen in the first place. Millie and Masons break up wasn't too public, but Millies fans from YouTube noticed the lack of her smiles in videos and the lack of masons presence. Seeing how mason moved to Amsterdam most fans put it together, but as the pair were so caught up in there drastic change they never thought to have to adress it publicly. Mason had only featured in a few videos, like the 'boyfriend tag' and been in the back of a couple of Millies vlogs saying a few things here and there, he was defiantly a fan favourite though. Millies fans easily noticing his disappearance. Mason personally feeling like the two never need to address the break up, he knew as soon as he was done with his year loan he would be back with the girl. Still, he assumed she has handling the loss of his presence better than him since she was still active on her social medias, he still tracked her socials like a 13 year old fan would, having all of her notifications on, re watching her old YouTube videos of them together and stalking fan pages to see what she was up too. Millie goes for coffee with masons mum every week or so, that's when millie would hear all about how well mason was doing, not that she handed been keeping her own tabs on him. She was still coming to terms with the drastic changes in her life, for example; when jj called mentioning the boys were going to start a sidemen house saying that there was a spare room if she wanted it, and to think about how good the content will be. So that's how it stared, she now lives in a huge mansion in east London with 7 boys. Millie had formed a close bond with the boys when they met a YouTube fest, coming in as a huge fan favourite when the girl would hang out with the boys or would be spotted in the back of videos.

When mason got back from a long day of training mason opened sos laptop in bed to see millie had posted a new video, she didnt post as regular as she used to, so mason loved when she did. She always has the same humour in her videos as she does in real life and he loved that, he felt like he was on FaceTime to her watching her videos. Not even glaring at the total he clicks the video and gets comfy in bed.

"er, well, hello everybody. So todays actually a really exciting one."

Mason was in awe hearing her voice and her little 'erms' and 'res' when she talks.

She had placed the camera on her dressing table all dressed up with her make up done and brown cardboard boxes behind her.

"so im actually packing right now, I haven't been very tactical about it theres shit all over the gaff" she giggles at herself.

Mason giggles at her little sayings, he misses her weird humour and the fact she would giggle at her own jokes.

"yeh im actually moving, as you probably saw in the title. With the sidemen, yeh probs not the best decision ive ever had in my life, I already know that living with seven boys is going to be hell but, it might be fun." she giggles again laughing at her own unsureness.

Masons heart pangs. 'she's moving?' 'with boys, seven of them' 'shit' The thought of her potentially living with 7 males made mason heart pang, he was supposed to be the only male she lives with. He had it all planned out they would have a flat in-between cobham and London, so it was easy for them to travel, and millie could still be close to London, knowing how much the girl loved the city.

"so yeah, im currently just chucking all my stuff in my dads van and then he's going to drive me to the house. I have seen the house, its lovely, really big, im just hoping the boys have kept it clean for when I get there" she pulls a face at the camera stating that the boys are clearly messy.

After that she shows all off her stuff now in the back of the van as she gets in the front with her dad and she chats a little bit when they drive. Mason notices she's wearing his jumper, one of his favourite ones he left it to millie to look after, his heart warm even more when he notices she is still wearing the m initial necklace he got her for the first Christmas the two had celebrated together hen they were only just 16. Laughing at a comment he had made about the necklace.

flashback memory:

A 16 year old Millie, and a 16 year old mason, sat on masons single bed in his dorm room at Chelsea academy. Their legs are crossed as they sit across from each other, both holding over decorated boxes.It was December 20th, mason was going back home to Portsmouth for Christmas, obviously. So the two of you have planned to have your own first Christmas together in his dorm room at cobham.

In front of mason, placed gently on his lap was a small square box, it was red with golden sting wrapped around it to keep it closed. He handed you the box with a huge grin plastered on his face.

“I hope you like it. Jaz helped pick it out by the way, so it has a girls opinion.”

Millie looks up into his beautiful brown eyes noticing the anxious tone laced in his voice, she then looks back down ready to open the present.

Thats until mason pipes up again causing millie sos top pulling the ribbon at a a hault.

“it’s quite basic, but you like basic-“ she snaps her head up, eyebrows furred at the boy.

“no no I mean the necklace, not you, I don’t mean basic I mean more like simple. Yeh it’s simple and I know you don’t like things to flashy or bold. Ugh shit…I’ve just told you what it is”

Millie giggles looking at your child like boyfriend, “mase, whatever it is I’m sure I’ll love it. And even if I don’t, I’ll wear it anyway, its the thought that counts I guess”

Pecking his cheek and finally pulling the string from the bow to opened the box. Millies heart melts as she opens it to see a simple golden chain with a golden M initial pendant on it.

“Awe mason i love it”

“really? Oh thank god”

She watches him release a huge breath she could tell he’s been holding in. Pulling the necklace out and dangleing it in the air, the M placed in her palm.

“Put it on me” she says passing him the necklace. Not moving her hair purposefully knowing he would have to move it for her.

“I can try, I’m not really good with these things i have fat thumbs."

“Don’t ruin the moment mason”

“sorry."

He very gently moved her hair into a makeshift bun her holding it up for him so he could use both hands, small peices of hair grazing her shoulder as he placed the necklace over her neck. Feeling his hot breath on her neck as her hand traces of the M on her chest.

“all done” mason kisses Millies shoulder and moving her hair back.

The girl turns to the boy in absolute awe, a loving grin on her face as she turned around and attacked him with kisses, so he’s laying down her on top of him, straddling him.

As she attacks him with loads of little kisses on his temples, cheeks and nose not missing any part of his face except for his lips. His hands gently hover over her waist as he’s giggling at the attack.

“So” she says finally sitting up.

“Is it a ‘M’ for Millie or a ‘M’ for mason?” questioning the boy as her hand traces the necklace.

“Well, I though it could be for mason, well it is for mason, but if your mum asks you can say it’s for Millie.”

Only being 16 and dating for 6 months she still hadn’t plucked up the courage to tell her mum about her boyfriend. Knowing if she did she would be more protective about when you would go stay with dec and be staying with mason too, also wanting to avoid that convocation about teen pregnancy.

“And if we ever break up, you can still wear it, people will assume it’s your name” he sits up with a smile.

Moment ruined.

“You think we’re gonna break up?” She says looking at mason.

“Well if we EVER do break up, it won’t be me breaking up with you. He looks at you clearly realising he’s said something stupid.

“oh come on the only reason we will ever break up is if you get sick of me.” Mason looks back down with a sheepish smile. A small smile creeping up on your face,

“1. I could never get sick of you or that smile, 2. I love the necklace mase, thank you.” she leans back in to kiss him again, but this time on his lips, as both of her hands hold his cheeks, she slips her tongue gently over his bottom lip then into his mouth, letting their tongues swirl together in unison.

Pulling away she looks at her boyfriend in his eyes and giggle “I love you weirdo” he just smiles and pulls her in for a hug.

Mason watched the rest of the YouTube video, a smile plastered on her face thought the video. He could see she was truly happy and that made him happy. Although he was worried she might find enough happiness and forget about him.

6 months later, Mason was doing really well at Vitesse fc, Millie knew this though, not only because his mum would update her regularly, she would illegally stream his matches when she could. It was the same for mason to really, he would watch all her YouTube videos the second they were posted, as well as all the videos she was featured in. He became slightly disheartened when he came across a few edits of her and harry (w2s) I mean he seemed like her type and that worried him. Mason had met harry a couple times when mason went with millie to one of her YouTube con things. Harry had a god sense of humour, an out of pocked one, the kind of stuff millie finds funny, harry constantly had a smile on his face, he was goofy, really awkward and would always seem to be making millie laugh in the back of videos. Mason stared to once again feel like a 13 year old girl as he searched the internet for any evidence the girl was dating harry. Feeling a lot better when he could never find any specific proof, although he couldn't lie to himself and say millie and harry didn't have good chemistry because they defiantly did. He don't know why he did it but he found himself on the phone to dec questioning him about millies relationship with harry, he defiantly hadn't planned on looking like he was still obsessed with his ex girlfriend however the urge to know if his first love had moved on bothered him, he just had to know.

So he called dec.

"maseeeeee, you alright mate" dec slurred his words, mason could hear loud bass music in the background.

"yeh, yeh im fine. Actually I just was erm well-"

"spit it out masey"

"is millie seeing anyone" mason blurted out,

"oh,"

'oh?'

'what does that mean?'

'she defiantly is seeing someone'

'shit' he thought.

"well to be honest mate I don't actually know, I don't see her a lot but erm, I'm sure is she was she would have told me" more of a serious tone kicking in his voice as he try to find a quiet space to try and talk to his mate on the phone.

"right"

"I mean she still loves you so" decs emphasis on the 'you'

"what?"

Declan was clearly drunk and blabbering but mason just wanted to hear him say she loved him still again.

"how do you know that"

"arg mate all she does is go on about you, you know she watches your matches, well she used too."

'used too?' mason though, she's moving on, he still watches her YouTube videos to try and sleep to her voice.

"yeah she had to do it illegally because your in a different county, I did just tell her she could use my sky sports but, you know what she's like, she stubborn, but yeh, she used some dodge website, uno the one that has the porn pop ups," Declan giggle as he repeats the word 'porn', like a child.

"and, yeh, she got a virus, can't say I told you sooooooo"

Mason can't help but smile at the story, it does sound like something she will would do. Mason takes advantage of decs drunk stake knowing he won't remember this in the morning to ask some questions.

"what about this harry bloke"

"harry? harry who? I don't know a har- ohhhhhh, yeah what a sound bloke, yeh he's here tonight actually"

'shit'

"yeh Millies here too if you want to speak to her"

"nah im alright mate, I just wanted to see how your all getting on, im gonna, yeh, im gonna go mate"

but before mason could finish and say goodbye he heard her voice

"hello?" she laughed into the mic

"dec, what the fuck, who's on the phone" she was drunk too mason could hear her laughing in the back, he loved her laugh.

"its mason, he wanted to talk to you" mason could hear dec faintly say in the back ground. 'shit dec no'

"Oh. Erm, heyyy mase. Is everything alright?" she was clearly confused.

Mason tried not to stutter at the use of his nickname coming out of her name, something he hadn't be called in months.

'erm- hah- hi, I didn't want to speek to you decs just a little pissed" 'no no no why did I say that'

"Oh"

"Not that im not happy to talk to you, its erm been a while"

"yeh it has" her reply were cold and blunt, he could tell she was getting upset.

"im sorry are u okay?"

"yeah, yeah, im fine, im going to go actually im- busy."

"yeah I can hear" Mason lets out an awkward giggle "alright then erm yeah bye mills, have a good night, be safe, yeh?"

"I- yeah. Thanks, bye mase"

And the line goes dead, and with that mason tried with every bone in his body to not cry. He missed her voice just as much as he missed her face, her smile, her laugh, everything about her. He kept thinking about how her high pitched happy tone dropped as soon as she realised she was talking to mason on the phone. Mason cried a little, missing his home.

Millie on the other hand was fuming.

"what the fuck dec" she said throughing the phone back onto his chest.

"he said he wanted to speak to you?" dec asked confused why millie was angry.

"no he didn't! ugh why did you do that?" she was shouting over the music. Mumbling something about how embarrassing that was fir her.

"erm yeah he did, look he misses you too." repeating to the girl what he had just previously said to the boy.

"what?"

"yeah, was asking if your seeing anyone and that. Asked about harry too," dec laughs, "he's probs stalking you and come across something of you and harry"

And with that Millies eye gloss over 'he still cares'

"but- but on the phone he said he didn't want to talk to me?"

"he's lying, he asks about you more than you ask about him. Fancy another drink?" trying to change the concoction as he was the tears threatening to spill from her eyes.

"I think i'm gonna need it" is all she replied...
