The entire conversation lasted about 8 minutes, but most of that time was just silence between each exchange, so I edited out the long pauses and got it down to ~3 minutes. I also fixed the audio levels and added subtitles since I personally find it difficult to understand Oscurucho sometimes :'D

#Cucurucho #Oscurucho #QSMP #December 21 2023 #Edited #Subtitles #For those who like knowing the gritty details and specifics about the things I did for this video - #I adjusted Cucurucho's volume because they were very quiet compared to Oscurucho #I fixed the sound direction (for lack of a better word) of Oscurucho's voice b/c he was speaking through my right headphone 90% of the time #so now it's more of a ''centered'' audio rather than a right ear or left ear thing #I added subtitles (obviously) #I fixed the camera a bit so it's more focused on Cucurucho / Oscurucho #and I adjusted the translator box so that even with the crop; they're all still included #usually they get cut out when I edit things because I'm just focused on the characters; but then one day I was like #''Why am I cropping out this thing that specifically helps people understand the story better?'' #So moving forward I'll see if I can do what I did here and add translation boxes as their own ''layer'' overlaying the clip itself #for big lore videos anyways or for clips with long conversations at least #I jokingly said to myself ''I bet I'll wind up shaving 5 minutes off this'' and I was right lol #I enjoy the official QSMP streams but one major critique I have is that the pacing was a bit slow in one or two streams #which is understandable considering many admins have to write in books (which takes time) and translate things (which takes even more time) #And that's valid! But in the last stream (the one with Elena) for example; many scenes dragged on far too long #and it wasn't because people were taking extra long to write books or translate things. It was purely a matter of pacing #idk I'm a professional writer and editor so I'm extra nitpicky about things like that. #Emu does art #i love this birdy and I love this gorgeous sky and I love these hills I drew like how the bush looks from the car #made the birdy by drawing a giant uncooked rainbow ramen #then I cloned it and made a bunch of tiny ones #and then I smudged those together #cloned it so I could take specific sections as feathers then edit it together #four feathers through realised I could make a bird like this #did it #put it on a branch #started drawing the landscape and branch rough sketch #used the other smudge tool with blending on to draw everything except the sun #made the hills with green crescents of many shapes #the water was a lil weird #multiple things I drew in there. also dots so the light shines #did some splashy for the waterfall #then the sun #did one circle with the default tool #made a layer behind it #used the other smudge tool in orange then pink and purple #blend with dotty #go darker and darker purple blues #and made the branch with that smudge tool also #I think it’s actually called the blend roll but can’t check right now #and again with various shades of green drew needles #it’s one of those needle trees who knows which one #Love you bird who I completed with a migraine or something #Idk my head hurts and everything pain #I’ve been laying in my room in the dark for two hours #once again love you bird I’m gonna go back to my dark room now #oh also I can turn off the pen sensitivity that controls the size of stuff

Can we just slot away the experiences with those with polyfragmented DID away from DID itself. Cause like. No fucking wonder I didn't realize that I had DID, it's a completely different ballpark.

Like, if you got three ANPs, and the main one has a subsystem with fragments + introjects, no shit are you not going to see a constant interruption of memory. Sure, it's kind of bumpy, but at worst it's just heavy dissociation for a couple of days.

It's honestly fucking frustrating that I run into people that say "tHeRe'S oNlY pOlYfRaGmEnTeD dId" without fucking explaining past the theory of structural dissociation. No theory of structural dissociation is going to HELP ME understand my experiences. Like you're just throwing out words and it's not explaining why or how it works.

It makes me unbelievably pissed. EXPLAIN. Explain that people with a higher tier of structural dissociation have a way more unstable system and that causes a greater number of alters, which lessens dissociative gaps within the fronting group, but may widen the gap between the innerworld alters and fronting alters. Explain how polyfragmented systems work compared to regular DID. Explain that the OSDD-1b label isn't actually what we think it is.

I am tired of stupid fucking idiots on the internet that only deem to quote and paraphrase, instead of doing adequate explanations of what those quoted texts mean. It's absolutely fucking infuriating.

Don't just say that I don't know what I'm talking about, if you're not going to give me adequate reason. These are my experiences, and it's so fucking easy to misconstrue if you're not being overly specific.

And there is literally no damn way to research shit first fucking hand when you need to buy the books, find specific scientific articles or see actual sources. I saw some of you getting mad that we say "DID has little research", but yet to back up your arguments. Why quote something when you barely understand it yourself?

This community needs a fucking overhaul. I am exhausted. We're all just parroting off of each other, as google is not that damn helpful.

I just want more understanding and articulation. Being a polyfragmented system is difficult all on its own, maybe we should understand that the human psyche cannot withstand intense amounts of trauma without breaking down in some form or fashion. It really is confusing that many people try to force the idea that we must face it all alone, you should know that's not how that works.

Got distracted and I ended up working on my drawing But then I realized a major mistake on it when I thought I was done with the star veil (yes, again. I changed up the stars at the tips of it, this veil is kicking my ass) and I was erasing stuff already so when I realized I'm like: FUCK-- undo undo undo undo und o un do u n d o. And now I gotta... move All those new lil designs at the tip, Again, so I'm like: Okay... alright... I'll do that Later. I'll write now cuz god Forbid I do anything in that design, it's all mistakes!

#aria rants #that star veil has trapped ME in a time loop of perpetually fixing the thing cuz im never done with it like #this is the messiest drawing ive ever done simply by the Amount of mistakes i have on it and the entire process of it like #past aria wasnt lying about the notes she put for me when i was lazy to do the star veil DAYS AGO but she was only thinking #that: haha future me is gonna bead All those lines >:D well lil did she know is that future her aint gonna bead those lines #anymore but the veil is STILL KICKING MY ASS HARDER THAN WHEN I TRIED TO BEAD IT ALL #also the designs at the tip were supposed to just be stars. but then sirius' heart happened and i was like: i need to put morse code on it #and normally id rely on the circle ruler but i alrdy used circles for the Inner beads. i needed a different kind of circle for the tips #and then i managed to somehow??? freehand a perfectly shaped egg so ive just been duplicating layer and moving #that egg cuz aint no way i can redraw that again. the first was a fluke i didnt know was possible. and i also didnt wanna #redraw the lil dash beads i made via the ruler so ive just been keeping two layers with just one tiny drawing each #of an egg and a slanted rectangle and ngl duplicating and moving those things take up way More of my concentration #than when im just doing the lines over and over again cuz i had to keep track of which layer has which and minimize it #by merging the morse code line ive finished (like once im done for the morse code ''you'' id merge that all tgt) #so i can keep myself from exploding out of incredible confusion on which layer is which but Now i gotta redo ALL THAT #i gotta redo the other ''i love you'' morse code at the right end cuz i Forgot. to leave. a space. at the end. #like the left end has a space (star) before the egg for the first dot of ''i'' but i forgot to do that for the right end....... #theres no space (star) after the rectangle for the last part of ''u''....... i need to move All that-- maaaaaaaaaaannnn #writing it is. ill do writing for now. writing is the best. at least then i dont gotta MOVE EVERYTHING once i made a mistake--

i think its kinda funny that ibis paint is regarded as the Broke Artist App or whatever (as opposed to more mainstream programs like csp or procreate) because its free and because of how popular it is with phone + finger artists while im jusg sitting here having used ibis for a cool eight years on purpose.

like i have an ipad and an apple pencil and all theyre very nice and i absolutely could move to a more powerful program i have the resources to do so but my change averse brain has decided they like it here a lot and im not leaving

#not talking smack on phone and finger artists btw. some of my mutuals use their fingers and their art goes crazy i respect that so much #even when i did use my phone (most of 14 crush was done on a phone!) i still had to use a cheap rubber stylus hahaha #anyway maybe ill try procreate someday but also i hate learning new programs and i like ibis's brushes too much #fingers crossed that they add fully custom brushes someday though #like id love to be one of those artists that makes really cool art with ridiculous shapes and nobody even knows until they tell you #younger artists might not know this but modern ibis is STACKED compared to how it was in 2015 #like i remember when clipping layers were first implemented. and they sucked. like they didnt fully go over the lower layer #so it just left a gross tiny outline around the shape #and there wasnt any border or text tools either #and there was a hard cap on layer count depending on your device's storage and the canvas size #modifying brushes wasnt even a thing HAHAHAHAH you just used what you had #anyway okiku reference window unrelated shes just there for something else im working on<3 #bri talks #for the record all this is to say i think the smack talk towards ibis is pretty unwarranted #like yeah maybe its not as powerful as a lot of these fancy paid apps but i honestly think its insanely good for being a free program #i think getting rid of the ads costs more now than it did when i paid to get rid of them but i mean #free with ads is still a lot more than csp's ever gonna give you!!!! #(psst. secret from me to you! you wont get any ads if you disable the app's data usage and turn off wifi when you use it) #(alternatively just use airplane mode but you can still get texts and stuff the first way)
