I am looking for a bug. He is locally called a sun beetle but that doesn’t seem to be his species name and I can’t find the actual name

This bug gets pretty big, usually around ping pong ball size. He is very round, and an orange yellow beige colour. He has wings that look a little crinkled when he’s big and old but when he is marble size they are smoother. He is bloated and if he tucked up his legs I could probably just roll him around

he lives around Perth Western Australia and I tried my best to recreate him, any ideas?

Casual Clothing Refs Boards: Wonderlands x Showtime!

Collected most of the casual fits (and some collaboration/promo images, you can find them on the PjSk wiki) into drawing ref/inspo boards bc I can't figure out what kinds of clothes to draw WxS in. Sharing in case it's helpful! I'll update this post if/when I do the rest of the units.

Some notes/personal observations under the cut:

TSUKASA

I think the way we'd describe his fashion in the US is "preppy."

button downs, collared shirts, and polos.

likes layering with a knit sweater/jacket.

Wears T-shirts when rehearsing, but also sometimes has a light zip-up hoodie over it (does he get cold easily?)

tends to wear white with blue, orange/yellow, or beige accent colors.

He has a good variety of clothing, but sweaters or sweater vests seem to be a must with Tsukasa.

EMU

pink. so much pink. also white.

puffy jackets/sweaters, probably to contrast her small frame (and for the POOF).

honestly the pink poofy jacket is a part of her. DO. NOT. SEPARATE. (/j /lh)

generally oversized clothing for the cute factor.

likes shirts/sweaters with cute designs or fun patterns on them.

likes wearing shorts (with leggings underneath if cold), but not opposed to skirts. also an overalls fan.

NENE

comfy cozy neutral colors.

a lot of white dresses, paired with grey/beige leggings or tights, but also some navy blue.

I think the only time she's worn a short sleeve shirt (aside from rehearsals) is for the Kamiyama High Fest (and even then, she has jacket over it).

Simple, minimalistic clothing, all of her clothing seems really light and flowy (probably due to the lighter colors she wears).

Seems to favor comfort over fashion, but still looks cute.

this man loves stripy stuff.

also color block type things and patterns.

actually wears a decent amount of neutral greys/blacks. but they're usually pared with an accent blue/green.

seems to be a mix of button downs OR casual t-shirts with a button down over it.

He has three different pieces of art (two cards, one promo art) with the navy + black/beige block shirt so I guess he likes that one a lot?

I truly, deeply love the dinosaur animation. It's beautiful, it's creative, it's spooky, it's absolutely gorgeous as an art piece. However, the t-rex near the end makes me laugh every single time. I love him! His big shiny stare. He looks like he wants to ask if I have any kitkats in my bag. He's been following me around the club because he likes my look but is too shy to say anything. Just like how a bear can be quite formidable, a bear can also be a total goofball. Nature does not care if it looks silly, and I wanted to depict that with some of the dinos.

For the raptors, I was inspired by the movements of roadrunners and emus. Especially in this video:

I can totally imagine raptors moving like this, with binks and zoomies.

But as much as I love it, I had to refrain myself a little, because it would've looked super out of place compared to the rest of the dinos.

Maybe someday, tho. Unless someone else feels inspired by these silly floofs ( ͡ ͜ °)

in the universe of the Teen!AU, are Ghost, Gaz & Soap going into the military when they get older, or will they have completely different jobs?

also (hehe) do Ghost & Gaz mostly grow at the same rate until Ghost slowly passes Gaz (so Ghost can tease his "little" brother), or does Ghost shoot past Gaz (& he secretly feels embarrassed about being a lot taller than people his age)?

finally, what are the boys into (cars, drawing, cooking, pro-wrestling, a certain movie that they will drop everything to watch)?

Ghost aims towards work in the military even though all the adults in his life (Price, Nik, and Laswell) advise against it. He wants to do good like his dad so he’s very determined to get into military no matter what. Though Ghost is very focused on his future career, he’s very artistic. Though he’s secretive about his art and it has a very dark theme to it, he’s proud of it.

Gaz writes a lot and wants to be a successful author. Though he likes doing autoshop work with Soap and Horangi and the three have talked about opening a autoshop together. Though writing is his passion, Gaz is leaning on the autoshop so he can have a stable job to support himself and his loved ones with. Though Gaz would love to write all day instead (even though he enjoys working on vehicles and getting his hands dirty).

Soap is very artistic and has mentioned wanting to do illustrations for books or graphic novels or comics. Gaz and him have already made a couple small projects that they’re both particularly proud of. But, like Gaz, he’s focused on getting his grandfather’s garage fixed up for a autoshop. When he’s not fixing up the garage or working on his grandfather’s old truck, Soap enjoys going out in nature. His aunt owns a farm outside of town and he often goes there in his free time and helps with the animals (his aunt owns a couple emus and Soap loves them).

When Gaz was taken in by Price, Ghost was already quite tall for his age. He’s never let it bother him and just immediately turned to teasing Gaz for being shorter than him (once they adjusted to living together).
