Chapter 1: The fair

S/n: As promised here's chapter 1, let me know if I should continue with this fic as I've never written a full fic before so I might be rubbish, also it's not proofread but any mistakes should only be minor. No use of y/n. I tried to capture their personalities to the best of my ability but they are so funny that they're also extremely difficult to write. I tried to not repeat any scenes from the movie, they still happen unless I mention them differently but I didn't want to sound like a broken record.

Summary: you get ready with pj and josie for the fair and they question your friendship with hazel and then you see her at the fair.

The fair was the one thing you looked forward to at the end of summer. Pretty much everything else about summer ending absolutely sucked but at least there was the fair.

Every year as soon as August rolled around, you were counting down the days until you could ride the ferris wheel, get cotton candy and most importantly, see hazel for the first time in 3 months.

Your 'best friend' hazel, if you could even call her that, volunteered at some charity or association of some sort all summer every single year without fail, so you couldn't see her for 3 months straight, which always drove you crazy.

You weren't quite sure why, after all, it was the same with pj and josie because they were away at some abstinence camp for the youth or as pj called it 'an anti sex cult run by a bunch of jealous old nuns who dont get any and are trying to ruin her life because shes hot as fuck' (her words, not yours) so you didn't see them either but you couldn't care less, so why were you so bothered about not seeing hazel?

Either way, you were super exited about this year's fair and had decided to get a ride from josie (only because you were embarrassed to tell anyone cool that you had failed your drivers test 5 times over the summer and had acctually managed to get yourself banned from the local dmv from 'assaulting your driving instructor' which you only did because he totally had it in for you) so naturally you thought it was a good idea to get ready at her house with her and pj.

BIG MISTAKE.

You should have known that pj and Josie, being the horny pervs that they are, spent the whole evening scheming about getting the cheerleaders attention, and how they were planning on getting possibly the straightest teenage girls you had ever seen in your whole life to fall head over heels for them.

Absolute losers.

You were so used to their antics that your brain had completely tuned them out as you applied your eyeliner, sitting beside pj, faces pushing eachother out of the way to fight to look in the tiniest mirror on josies desk.

You had stopped listening after josie had started ranting about the size of Jeff's penis, you were planning on stuffing your face with corndogs in less than an hour, and that was really putting you off the idea, that was until you heard josie say your name.

"Soo, have you spoken to hazel since school ended?"

Pj looks over at you with a shit eating grin on her face, "what she means to say is, have the two of you fucked yet?"

You roll your eyes at pj, not even dignifying her with an answer and turn your head to face josie, who was now stacking snapbacks on her head whilst looking in the mirror.

"To answer your question, yeah we've facetimed a few times and texted a lot."

"Oooo phone sex," pj giggles, "kinky."

You just flick pj in the head and begin applying your lipgloss.

Josie picks up one of the snapbacks from the floor and launches it at pjs head and instead misses and knocks over the mirror.

"Dude what the fuck." Pj hisses, standing up to go over to josies closet door to look at her outfit in the full length mirror, posing and checking herself out.

"Seriously though, when are you going to make a move?" Josie asks, backing away from pj and going to sit on the bed.

You look at her with a confused expression, "what do you mean, we're just friends."

Josie cocks her eyebrow and smirks, "please, you've been in love with her since 5th grade, you know it, I know it, pj knows it, pretty much everyone in a 10 mile radius can see it, except for hazel herself since she's an oblivious dork, but that's besides the point."

You go to answer but pj comes back over and sits back down next to you and you take the opportunity to escape and use the bathroom.

You take your time in there staring into the glass, turning your body around, checking that your hair is straight, your makeup looks good in natural lighting, oh and that your cleavage is poking through your tank top just enough, for no particular reason other than looking hot for yourself (well, that's what you told yourself anyways).

As you open the bathroom door to return to josies bedroom you hear pj and josie whispering, and being as nosy as you are, you press your ear up against the door to listen to what they're saying.

"Shhh she's gonna hear you" josie hushes.

"Shut up no she's not, that bitch couldn't hear a rocket land if it landed on the roof."

"How much did you say you wanna bet again?"

"50 bucks. If by the end of the school year they haven't fucked, I owe you 50 bucks, but if they have, you owe me 100."

"How the fuck does that work, why do I owe you double?"

"Because I'm fucking awesome... okay because I'm broke as hell and am gonna need the contribution for my homecoming dress so I can look sexy for brittany, duh."

"Yeah yeah whatever, its a deal, I think she's coming."

You once again roll your eyes at how pathetic they are. You swear to god that if you spent any more time with them than you already do, your eyes would permanently be fixed in the back of your head.

"Hey guys, you ready to go it's almost 8," you suggest as you open the door, "josie, what the hell do you think you're wearing?!"

"What do you mean?" She looks down confused at her spiritual playboy shirt, 5 carabiners hooked onto her pants' belt loops and her arm sling on her right arm.

"You look like dyke throw-up," pj cackles, standing up from the desk and following you both out of the bedroom door.

Josie looks back at pj as you're all walking down the stairs, "pj you can't say anything, look at you, you've got suspenders over your nipples like a goddamn freak."

Pj flips her off from behind her head and you can't help but giggle as you follow them out to the car and hop in the backseat.

"How'd you break your arm again josie?" You lean forward and ask as josie turns the keys and reverses out of her driveway.

"She flunked out of anti horny camp and fell out of her bunk rubbing one out," pj replies casually, looking down at her phone that displays brittanys Instagram posts from the summer, "fuck, she got even hotter over summer, how's that even possible?"

"Is isabel in any of the photos?" Josie questioned desperately, sneaking a peak down at pjs phone as she pulls up to a red light.

"God you're both pathetic."

You finally arrive to the fair, granted you're 20 minutes late because josie circled the parking lot at least 10 times as pj yelled at her to just fucking park, but josie wanted to make sure she could find a big enough spot.

You hand over your tickets and walk in, they're both muttering about something or other but you're not really listening, you're just scanning for hazel until you feel a tap on your shoulder and nearly jump out of your skin.

"Hey guys," hazel smiles, bringing you in for a hug, "long time no see, wait.. pj, josie, you never come to the fair?"

You point over at isabel and brittany standing a few feet away, where they had been gawking at them for the past 5 minutes.

"Ah, I see," She nods, I haven't seen you In ages I've missed you."

"Yeah.. me too," you blush, looking down at your shoes.

"Oh shit what happened to josies arm?"

"Masterbating."

"What, is her vagina made out of concrete or something?"

"No what? Hazel, she fell out of her bunk," pj scoffs.

"Can everyone please stop talking about my vagina?" Josie interjects.

"Soo hazel, what's this I hear about you volunteering at a slop farm?" Pj questions.

"The national meat association? Yeah it was good," hazel replies, "so did you guys get up to anything crazy over summer?"

"Yeah we killed this girl at camp for snitching on josie, got arrested, taken to Juvie and spent the rest of summer there, nearly died but they let us go when we told them that we're dykes and called them homophobic," pj explains sarcastically.

"What?! Are you guys okay?"

Josie facepalms.

You were about to explain that pj was being sarcastic when you hear cheering and you all look over to see Jeff appearing with the rest of the football team.

You all exchange disgusted looks and then pj notices that isabel and brittany are walking in your direction.

She snatches your corndog out of your hand and hands it to josie and then takes hazels cotton candy and hands her a wad full of tickets. Her and josie anxiously keep swapping the corndog and cotton candy mumbling to eachother until isabel and brittany are standing right infront of you all.

Josie drops her corndog, well actually YOUR corndog and kicks it away in hopes of isabel not noticing but both isabel and brittany look down and watch her do it, then look back up at her and raise their eyebrows.

"Hey can I uh, get my cotton candy back?" Hazel asks as she reaches forwards towards pj to grab it, but instead is hit in the head with it by pj who just ignores her and takes a bite out of it.

You look at hazel and shrug your shoulders, jerking your head to turn her attention back to the disaster of a conversation going on between the four of them.

"Oh hey, didn't see you there," brittany says to you poking her head round to look at you, "how's your summer been?"

"Yeah it's been good," you reply, "looking forward to cheering again though I've really missed it, what about you guys?"

"Yeah, I've been practicing all summer I'm really looking forward to getting back into it!" Isabel smiles, stepping forward.

The conversation goes on for a painful amount of time, every second making you want to gouge your eyeball out with a fork as you just make ridiculous faces at hazel, who just looks back at you the same way before giggling.

You went to follow pj and josie out to josies car when hazel quickly follows, "I can drive you home if you want, your on the way and I doubt you want to listen to another second of them babbling on about isabel and brittany."

"Yeah that would actually be great, thank you."

"No trouble at all," She says, "plus, it's an excuse to speak to you, we haven't had much of a chance to talk tonight."

She pulls out her car keys and unlocks her car, of course its a range rover. Her mom gave it to her as a pity gift when her dad left which obviously didn't fix the issue but hazel didn't complain and just accepted the car, even though she wasn't old enough to drive at the time, which her mom forgot because she barely pays any attention to her own daughter.

The drive is only 5 minutes long, since you live so close, so you don't get long to chat, but she tells you all about the meat association and the cool tshirt she got to wear, even showing you a photo when she pulls up on your driveway.

You lean over and give her a hug, "see you at school tomorrow?"

"Wouldn't miss it," She grins, "meet me outside to walk in together?"

"Wouldn't miss it."

Once you had kicked off your shoes and lazily removed your makeup, you got changed and plopped onto your bed.

Tonight was so chaotic yet for some reason you weren't thinking about pj and josies funny attempt at flirting or how they had made complete asses out of themselves, only about the drive home with hazel, how her hair blew in the wind, framing her face perfectly, how her hand gripped the steering wheel as she reversed out of the parking lot and how her eyes practically lit up when she was talking to you about her voluntary work over the summer.

You try to sleep but instead you lay awake for hours staring at your ceiling thinking about it. You simply cannot get her out of your head.

Huh. Maybe, just maybe, you did like hazel callahan? No. Surely not. Unless...

About my Angelic Pure Vanilla headcanon, or, my theory on how PV is an angel

The "Light" is treated as a god in the game, the cookies in the republic are seen praying to it. Both Madeline and Financier Cookie mention how the light can help them, how the light gives them their powers. Almost like an angelic being they are praying to. Pure Vanilla, despite being the strongest user of light magic canonically, has never been seen praying to it. So maybe, he is the light.

Looks wise i dont think it needs much explanation. Angels are pure creatures of light. His color palette is very angelic, plus angels who show themselves to humans are described to be men in robes, which Pure Vanilla's default outfit

Angels are seen as a guidance and helper in dark times. Angels are associated having a polite and calm personality, purity in a way. Which describes Pure Vanilla perfectly. He only wants the good of the cookies, he thinks of the others before himself, which are personality traits of prophets and angels.

Also, for some reason his line

“May fortune be upon you today„

Stuck out to me. He says that as if he is granting the fortune. And, again, angels are associated with granting fortune in multiple medias. I also feel the mention that his characther takes inspiration from literal Jesus Christ.

(a long part of my process of writing got deleted, which i am pretty bummed about, so i apologize the writing seems a bit rushed)

So now diverting from my theories on the canon, here are my headcanons about angel pv

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

☁️Like most angels, he can shape shift. Which means he actively chooses to be a short old man. He can be anything else, he can be tall and buff if he desires but no. He likes being the short old man he is

☁️Despite walking around like a normal cookie, he has 3 sets of wings. He hides them for multiple reasons, one being he doesnt like looking out of place. Two, being the fact that he forgets to use them because of how little he uses his wings. He can (canonically) float so why bother.

☁️When he is feeling scared and or threathened, he instinctively starts looking more angelic, in a way getting on defense mode. More scared he is, more angelic he looks

☁️His true form is a mix of the Avatar if Destiny and just. Light. It is incomprehensible to cookies, cookies can pass out on sight of seeing it. Avatar of Destiny is like a toned down version of his true form. Only the ancient heroes know about this true form and even they were quite traumatized afterwards.

☁️He has mind altering abilities but chooses not to use it. He will only use it on emergencies like if an information is too much for a cookie to handle

☁️He can absolutely destroy earthbread if he wanted to. We saw a small bit of his abilities on the Dark Flour War. That was just to seal Dark Enchantress, imagine what he would do if he wanted to kill her. Which is why he is so stubborn about never using his powers for violence. Cause if he looses control, that would be the end of earthbread.

☁️Cookies pray to him sometimes, he doesnt enjoy thus, though. He politely warns the cookie praying to him to stop, he doesnt want to be seen as a god.

hellsing pokemon au !!

as promised, im going back to my usual hellsing shenanigans with some pokemon stuff. ive had this in my brain for months but have never gotten around to doing anything with it! my autistic ass has absorbed information about pokemon before i could have normal thought patterns, so hopefully my takes are at least a little satisfying. feel free to interact with ur own thoughts and suggestions!

i provided long explanations of each, but if you dont want to read all that just look at the pictures :P

long post ahead!

note: these aren't definitive teams, just me throwing around ideas. don't take this as the holy grail of headcanons or anything.

seras victoria

boltund would be her first pokemon i think, her main partner from before her work with the organization. togetic is here because idk im a togetic 4lifer and im a kinnie ? it just really made sense to me, just vibes, plus i think she really needed a flying type. may become a togekiss later, that would be cute. umbreon is pip's eevee that she evolved, and blastoise is a gift from walter. i think she needs more red pokemon to match her color palette and vampire vibes so ill probably add to this!

alucard

alucard needs a legendary of course, so darkrai. i think they would be good friends, they give the same "misunderstood tortured soul" vibes. houndoom to represent baskerville, noivern to fit the vampire/bat aesthetic.

and an important distinction:

i think girlycard should have a hisuian sneasel. they're the same critter. two ancient beings.

sir integra

im surprised with how much i struggled with this one. i feel like a fake fan. smh, anyways. sirfetch'd is perfect to me-even the unevolved farfetch'd is super fitting too-but i included the final form for this post. i wanted to stick with galar pokemon, but aegislash is literally a sword. cmon. stoutland is a recommendation from a friend that i 100% agree with. ive always associated her with the serperior line, so snivy was probably her starter. i think that'd be cute. im really open to suggestions on this one because i think she deserves more steel or normal types.

pip bernadotte

this is a big one! there were so many good options with pip... and i didnt even mean to color code it 😅 i wanted him to have an electric type to match seras (to add to the whole rivals-to-lovers aesthetic), so his main partner is raichu! it was between that or mudsdale, who i also really like (and is the only one on this team who cant be found in kalos, haha). i wanted him to have a bird (for the geese) so there's dodrio. scrafty and tauros just fit the vibe perfectly to me-they're sorta like honorable mentions. eevee is originally his but he eventually gives it to seras, who evolves it into umbreon. if pip would have kept it, i think it would have evolved into sylveon (the whole kalos thing).

walter c dornez

some interesting picks for walter. corvisquire is his main guy, his "angel of death", he's raised it from a rookidee since he was a kid. maybe it would evolve into corviknight when he becomes Dark Walter. not sure how that would work. i choose not to think about dark walter. bisharp is there for the steel typing vibes as well as the chess symbolism: it really hits right for me, with walter's arc being about how he's played as a "pawn", in a sort of way. also a nod to a very dear friend of mine who loves walter and the pawniard line respectively. :) now, why leavanny, you ask? it learns string shot, of course! also because id like to think he would raise a sewaddle in his old age to help him with things around the estate.

..aaand im out of room for images in the post! i'll make a part 2 with some bonus thoughts + the iscariot organization if i feel like it. bye for now!

good day yo kai watch tumblr. today i bring my ramblings about aesthetics i think fit each of the bbq trio and why, please enjoy. (im so normal im so normal im so normal im so normal im so normal im so normal) (all images here taken from pinterest,)

starting of with Nate

one of the main aesthetics i see fitting him is Dark Academia

generally it has blacks grey browns and other dark colors such as reds and some shades of blue. i feel like him with dark academia with pops of red in like jewelry or other accessories really fit him.

fill to a more down to earth probs in a coffee shop having a surprisingly sweet or black like his soul coffee while studying English or something.

classic, red, autumn, and light academia do also fit him.

falling into the autumn aesthetic makes me think he would genuinely enjoy pumpkin spice lattes and learn the make them as home with one of those fancy coffee and espresso makers because he wishes it wasn't seasonal.

another aesthetic i feel works is the whole lofi aesthetic, this one fits even if you see him with bight and cheerfull or dark and moody colors like i do. mabyes it just the idea of him working on a laptop he got for school on a cold winters day while listening to fresh lofi beats for the spiritual and then jibanyan just sits on his laptop, but whatever.

also want to mention like ANYTHING WITH STARS, like that fucker probably has stars on basically everything he owns so it would be wrong of me to not mention him and his star supremacy.

honorable mentions to Lolita (specifically the more prince style but we still support nate in dresses here), grunge, and y2k.

now onto inaho...

HOOOOO BOY. this girl has probably been through so many phase. and is constantly changing up her aesthetic each day like jesus christ. so im just gona fast round these with hopefully small explanations.

Pastel Goth

dark and spooky yet colorful and kawaii i think perfectly fits her. her base fit is already kinda pastel yet less soft so ye. and if she had to go through a goth phase itd be this.

yami kawaii

which translate to sickly cute is basically yume kawaii with more emphasis on dark themes and color. i think a good example of this is internet overdose. its in a similar vein to pastel goth with her. just more medical.

weird/dreamcore

commonly associated with stuff like object heads, the backrooms, its one i dont feel like needs and explanation. shes simply just weird. another aesthetic in a same enough bein is glitchcore which as a lot of neon colors swirled together and ofc glitchyness.

another one is webcore.

so think like old windows lawn background, old internet, and general retro tech. its and inspo for vaporwave which is another aesthetic that fits inaho.

lastly bard core, honestly all i really have to say for this is, she would just be a rizzless bard in DnD.

others mentions to hyperpop, cryptic core, arcadecore, gamer core, indie, and decora.

and finally that buck boy

so lets get this out the way,

KIDCORE IS MY NUMBER 1 AESTHETIC FOR HIM,

bright rainbow colors, just, yes. and a lot of kidcore fashion i see includes overalls so it just, fits.

in a softer sense cottage core also fits,

i mean, i think he'd be the kid whod get those fake vines and put them up in his room to feel like a woodland creature. and he'd absolutely get a mushroom hat and nobody can change my mind. also elf ears, i tihkn that falls in with cottagecore and similar aesthetics.

lastly for buck ill go over skater aesthetic

the fashion kinda falls into grunge i think but honestly buck would skate or i guess try and skate. he thinks its cool and will make nate think he's even color so he tries to learn.

but in general i think the idea of him with really baggy pants and big graphic tees just pleases my mind.

and to finish off here are some honorable aesthetics for buck:

hipster core, moss core, web core, cabin core, those woodland creature aesthetics, cryptic core, alien core, and just anything with sunflowers.

some terapagos-centric speculation

alright well back into pokemon brainrot perhaps since the actually interesting to me part of SV dlc (the silly turtle) is very soon um so. i got spoiled by a leaker on a story beat i think? but i wont mention that anywhere here. however i WILL be speculating (without any leaks involved in speculation) about the lore of catching all of the series' past legendaries, using information on the official site. if you havent beaten SV and found out some terapagos lore, or if you dont want to look at the official information on the website then dont read ahead!

Let me first just... put what they have on the page for catching old legendaries "In order to encounter these Legendary Pokémon, first talk to Snacksworth at Blueberry Academy. If you’ve met certain conditions, you’ll be able to get snacks from Snacksworth that let you encounter specific Legendary Pokémon back in the Paldea region. Snacksworth will share his extensive knowledge of these Legendary Pokémon with you, as well as tales of his heroic encounters with them. Why not listen to what he has to say?"

To receive snacks that allow you to encounter these Legendary Pokémon, you must complete Blueberry Quests (BBQs) and report back to Snacksworth.

I think you can read a lot into this. First of all, BBQs is brilliant. but second of all Let's recall what everyone generally concludes paradox pokemon to be, in relation to terapagos. I'm a bit rusty on my SV lore, but as I recall, the general theory is that the paradox pokemon are all created by desire / powered by imagination. From the drawings in the books that aren't fully accurate, to heath waking up having written what I see as designs for the """time machine""" (what I believe to just be a helpful power source for terapagos) to arven literally questioning (especially notable in violet) how his father would have been inspired to bring pokemon from the future... by a book recounting pokemon from the future. from the past. I mean, heck, tera crystals even... somehow power AI sada / turo, and they say that what humanity is capable of isnt really... well, they're beyond our technology. yet they also cannot leave area zero. Theres more to it than that, I think. and I haven't even seen what lil baby terapagos does with liko in the anime... but I think its pretty safe to say this is some sort of wish-maker pokemon, that gives you tangible results, if you just think powerfully enough about something. One might even say... if you practically felt like you were there.

Heck I bet heath was so bored about seeing nothing interesting that he just... IMAGINED some weird freaky not-quite-pokemon. and terapagos thus made them real. but only a bit. Note that the only paradox mons we see outside the crater are the paradox donphan, which is the only one in the book... and the paradox of cyclizar, which was very close to heath. Powerful memories with cyclizar would create a powerful creature I imagine So, back to snacksworth. They're vague about the "certain requirements" for catching past legendary pokemon. I think this honestly just means we need terapagos, or... terapagos' blessing. or whatever. whether we catch it, whether theres only one, i dont even know.

I think he's just a nerd who happens to be giving us exactly what we need to manifest these legendaries into existence (he probably doesnt even know lol). Why would the SV protags know about all these legendaries, what they were like? Well, they dont. but he has extensive knowledge... to clearly give us an idea of what they're like. And he has "heroic tales" of him having met them before. I imagine that'll be essentially the fuel for like- "take this snack and when you eat it, it'll be as if you're about to have an encounter with them just like the story I told you!"

it'll make you feel like you were there because of associating the food with his Legendary Encounter Story (whether hes lying or not lol) and using that, combined with our newfound knowledge on what these legendaries are... terapagos will summon it into existence!

Essentially: Snack = reminds us of a heroic encounter with a legendary thus Idea of a legendary encounter + clear knowledge about said legendary pokemon + funny turtle = legendary

Klaus and Elijah are definitely my favorites out of all the Mikaelsons, but I do love Rebekah a lot too! Freya, Finn, and Kol are further down the list, in that order. I love my murder children, but I’m not their mother—I’m not obligated to love them all equally!

I think the main appeal of Klaus and Elijah for me is simply their intensity. They’re the first originals we meet in tvd, and before we even see them together onscreen we can tell they have a fraught, complicated history—yet there’s love there too.

The flashbacks to the 15th century as they prepare to sacrifice Katherine? Klaus laughing about their silly ploys throughout history, while Elijah gazes lovingly over his shoulder? Bliss. I swoon. And the scene in present day, after Klaus has broken the curse and has just transformed back into a human? Elijah, the previous night (or however long ago) was prepared to kill him. Had his hand in his heart and everything. Yet now here he is, helping Klaus dress like some kind of butler—someone who’s been there for him like this time and again.

I go similarly insane about the flashbacks to the 1920s, in which Klaus has to explicitly tell the audience that Rebekah is his sister and not, you know, his girlfriend. But they do undercut this slightly with Rebekah immediately jumping on Stefan and, while I approve, climb that ripper tree, it does take away from her psychotic, erotic bond with Klaus.

And that’s just in tvd! That’s only setting the stage for TO! In TO, Klaus and Elijah’s bond is ramped up to main character status. Elijah is simultaneously Klaus’s brother-associate, his overbearing, cautioning father figure, and the lover with whom he has frequent spats and reconciliations. Klaus is having a baby? No, Elijah says, we’re having a baby! And inserts himself into this pregnancy situation with Hayley, and no one questions it.

(Klaus and Rebekah’s relationship also gets some amazing moments in s1 of TO, and for the first time Rebekah and Elijah’s relationship gets to shine too! But alas, after some of the best episodes of the entire show—episodes 1x14-16—Rebekah departs, so we get to see less of her with her siblings, and Klelijah continues to take center stage.)

I could detail every single thing I love about Klelijah’s relationship, their ups and downs, their tragedy and their comedy—and I might come back later and add on, if I feel like it!—but yeah, that’s my draw to these two. Canon is so generous with them, and I simply go crazy for it!

Not to mention—the actors’ chemistry had a huge hand in all this. They bounce off each other so well, and their mannerisms are so different yet both so old at the same time. You really believe they’ve known each other for a thousand years, and any fight that they have is mere window dressing to the centuries they’ve stood shoulder to shoulder.

And not only that! But! (⚠️Spoilers for the end of TO, if anyone still cares about that⚠️) The show rewards me and lets them die together. Klaus makes the ultimate sacrifice for his daughter, and Elijah’s like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ guess I’ll die too, and follows him into oblivion for no other reason than he wanted to. Ah yes, a very normal brotherly relationship. (I’m going FERAL just thinking about it again!)

Truly I have not been normal about them since 2018, and that doesn’t look to be changing anytime soon. I will keep repeating myself in posts like these until…either the whole world understands the brilliance of TO, or until I die. Whichever comes first.

Hello all, I thought I would share my au because I have wanted to for a while. It’s been in development for 5-6 years now. This took me an 1hr 30minutes and it shows so bare with me please 🫶🏽

Alright this is my AU, FIVE YEARS AND I DONT HAVE A NAME FOR IT 😃

This is just a brain dump it’s insanely unorganized and possibly confusing.

Alright it focuses around the JR because I love them and I probably love them more bc of this au that I’ve grown attached to.

So I kinda tried to stay canon but also definitely strayed away from it a lot

Everyone got a power boost bc it’s more fun when they’re all powerful and have to go through character arcs, I have a lot of OCs in this which are super dear to me 🫶🏽

Alright I’m going to start with the basis.

Basically the JR is the most powerful organization in their set multiverse. We knew this ofc. Dream runs it and sometimes leans on his close employees for advice, help, etc but he obviously has a problem so he usually does it all himself by this I mean paper work and his daily duties which is usually just paper work.

There are a lot of divisions including justice division, cooking/chefs, security division, orphanage staff, hired mercenaries, medical divisions, office workers, receptionists, maids/janitors, and I’m sure a lot more.

The JR runs a lot of things and it’s hard to keep track of everything even for dream.

The plot is based on them chasing criminals specifically meme squad, then outcome B happens, but a shadow organization rises with growing power, dream and the jr wondering how they stayed off their radar and these guys are total bad news. Every bad thing, every big criminal has had an association with these guys ( I don’t have a name for them yet, I’ve just been referring to them as AJR, anti-justice reigns, weak name I know) they have a deep hatred for the jr and do everything in their power to take them down. Majority of the story is the JR against AJR the rest is meme squad and inner demon battles 😃

I guess I’ll move on to respective characters unless I forgot something

Dream- CEO of JR, runs it like a business is basically a politician, businessman, warrior(??), paperwork man, father (??🧐🧐)

Same backstory as OG, ate 50000 apples, grew light wings, villainized nightmare.

His powers- as I mentioned I gave people power boosts, so he has all his og powers and more. His sword lights up yellow when he uses his powers and a lot of magic comes out of it when used (think raiden shogun) honestly in powers he can shoot light, and if he needed to he probably could incinerate someone/thing. He can shoot a lot of it but if overused he’d need probably couple hours of rest. I wanted to paint him in a way to be a like god but not there completely (again think raiden but a bit more inferior)

Personality- same old same old

Polite, respectful, serious with his job and with life in general

lighthearted

Has morals even though they are a bit twisted in a way

He honestly is supposed to be the MC but he’s not really there it’s funny to me he’s just so busy he becomes overshadowed by the other side MCs I didn’t account for that at first but then it felt purposeful.

Ink- Dreams right hand, but moreover assassin/mercenary, here for the money (but that’s where character development come in)

His backstory is kinda the same but I added some stuff to fix plot holes or just Wtv didn’t make sense, I don’t feel like expanding right now

(I’ll do separate posts with more details on characters maybe lmao probably not)

Powers- alrighty this is gonna be hard to explain. So he has his og powers ink blah blah, but he can use it to morph it into stuff like idk if he wanted to prank someone he could make his ink into food and they would eat it and they just ate his powers not actually food (idk another example😭), I created this as a joke but then added it because I liked it. He can use the ink on/in his body to morph himself, so like change his body this shouldn’t be confused with changing his complete appearance like skin tone eye color etc but he can change like the shape of his body or gender kinda like if he wanted to appear as a girl he could. But he would still look like same eye color, same skin tone, same hair color etc. but he could shape of his nose, mouth, he usually uses it for fun/to scare people and not on missions unless he has to.

Personality- rude ahole, absolutely gives no fks, nice is a one in a lifetime occurrence

his rudeness is from trauma and his lack of knowing how to interact with others

Sassy 100%

When the character development pops in he becomes better still a ahole tho.

He cares I promise he just needs a shove in the right direction

Finch- (my favorite and you can tell by all the trauma and pain I gave him 💝🫶🏽🥰)

JD Captain, Inks respective rival, way too loyal to dream until he’s not

This is where I’m scared to post about my AU. Because this guy is the one who probably got the biggest boost.

His backstory- it’s still based on the 1930-40s in WW2 in America specifically Odessa, Texas.

this was how his downhill of a life started (until he met dream)

Lives with mother and father and 6 siblings because in that time people had way too many kids. And I like the idea of youngest sibling finch. Father gets drafted for war, dies. (This was fav parent btw) mother sad and traumatized, takes it out on kids ⁉️ finch got the worst of it bc MC plot , she wanted him to be perfect which messed with self esteem and just imagine her lovely reaction when he came out to her. Runs away bc it’s too much mental and emotional abuse. This is the shaky part. Comes into contact with a spirit , specifically spirit of anger,revenge , and all things karma. This come into the story later. Okay so I quite haven’t figured this part out but upon coming in contact with this spirit bro gets possessed 😱 and his au shows a rift which he gets sucked into and spit out into dreamswaps au where ever I haven’t done that world building yet. The part where he gets his freaking eye stabbed out is still in the works but I have a basis that I’m not sharing yet but after that dream finds him with a couple guards , and he’s sent to the JR hospital gets new eye and and soon after 3-4 years of insane hard work becomes promoted to captain this is important because it establishes just how hardworking he is. Most wouldn’t get such a promotion until at least 6-7 years? For him to get it so young, so early, is envying and insane. For others they’re jealous and believe he’s undeserving until he really proves himself worthy of such a position and gains the respect (I so graciously believe he deserves)

As you can there is a lot for him and that’s because originally there’s so little so I had a lot of room to implement what would usually be hcs into his character.

Alrighty powers-

This is hard to explain the spirit gives him these established powers but it makes him lose control if used excessively leaving the spirit to take over and a pain for whoever's around

These powers run on emotions and if he is careless with his expression then the above may happen.

He can like use the magic to float stuff sometimes himself but that takes a lot.

He can make daggers (similar to an idea that I believe @fresh-trans-fish had)

Still has that scrappy spear of his.

He has very scared to use these powers but after time bonding with said spirit he became more comfortable in it.

THE CRYSTALS- part of keeping the spirit in control.

They need each other , spirit (doesn’t have a name yet I’m working on it) and finch need each other to live cause spirit needs a host and will fade out without one and finch is stabilized by said spirit

Personality- silent man probably the equivalent of the quiet kid maybe a little more mental unstable

A leader at heart

Cares about doing the right thing

Crazy in the way where he talks to himself constantly

internally hyper, externally calm

Anxiety definitely

I gave him borderline bc that’s my own hc in og (makes dealing with his powers harder)

Kind but people don’t see it

Tough willpower

Claims to never cry, probably has a mental breakdown after very shift

He has learned over the years to be less wound up off the job.

Also he has a bsf (she will be introduced later but she is important to his character development she’s an OC ofc )

Okay, that’s not everything obviously there’s still the OCS but I’m so lazy and I hate writing on my phone. So here’s a quick basis of the MC OCs

Ash- lead doctor in the medical department, close with dream been in the JR for a LONG time, like a mother to certain people (cough cough finch and katja)

Katja- co captain to finch and bsf to him also, hates ink in a weird sibling way, 24

Eliza- weird relationship to dream, people don’t know why she’s always in the JR also oddly close with ink and finch, late 20s

Amayah- lead detective, cool uncle vibes, early 30s

Brianna- dreams adopted daughter (that’s all I’ll say about that 😃)

UGH THIS WAS A PAIN TO WRITE ESPECIALLY ON MY PHONE I WISH THOUGHTS COULD JUST TRANSFER ON THE PAGE.

Tbh there’s probably so much I’m forgetting but it’ll come to me and I’ll write it down.

TRIGGER WARNING (please read if you are okay with the following topics): here i am about to talk about alcoholism and drug abuse. i go on about educating yourselves before writing fanfictions about alcoholism withdrawal. i also get into things that happened to me when i was younger (also going through drug addictions) including overdose. mention of death.

i really wish some people knew what alcoholism was before talking about how "y/n got stan out of his alcoholism".. like baby no clearly you don't know what the fuck "alcoholism" even is.

alcoholism is a disease, just like cancer or any other thing that can and will kill you. people with alcoholism (alcoholics) go through a little something called withdrawal (stopping or taking out) when undergoing the.. well.. withdrawal of alcohol..

symptoms of withdrawal are painful and fatal. you can't just "stop" someone from the intake of alcohol.. not how that works, they quite literally, would die. like their body will shut down because they begin to depend on the alcohol to get through a day.

educate yourselves PLEASE before making a fucking fanfiction about withdrawal of "alcoholism".

something that frustrated me when i was younger was when my friends would do these things:

a: talk literal shit about people (mainly their parents or family members) who are struggling with addiction to usually alcohol, cigarettes, or marijuana, IN FRONT OF ME. mind you, i lost a couple family members, including my mother due to alcoholism, so yeah, i fucking know what it's like. AND i was (still am) dealing with addiction when my friend(s) would do this.. and said friends didn't do shit like drugs or drinking so they never knew what an addiction to substance was like.

b: in health class when my friends wanted to sit on their phones when we were watching a fucking documentary about people losing their family members due to drug abuse and overdose. ive experienced an overdose before, and ive experienced loss of multiple family members due to addictions. this documentary was teaching us about how addictive opioid drugs can be and how they can and will affect the rest of your life. and my fucking friends were sitting on their phones PLAYING GAMES.

and yeah i get that this is stupid shit and that i could've been "overreacting" but i was 14, and not a moron. i knew better than to disrespect people like that. it aggrevated me (still aggrevates me thinking about it) knowing that my friends didn't care about the amount of people fucking dying due to drug use, and how their stupid game was soo much more fucking important when they could have played it any other time.

having a drug addiction is hard especially when you're young and stupid. doing drugs at school was an everyday normal thing for me. and for the record, drugs are not cool for anyone who may be young who's reading this right now. dont fucking do them because it's so ridiculously scary.

a little under a decade ago, i had this older man, he was i think 21 or something (i was 13), come over to my house to give me nicotine. he ended up bringing a blunt that he offered me to hit and so i did. i took say six hits and found out later that it was laced with what i believe was crack(?). i overdosed and fell asleep in my dad's bed after walking in there freaking out literally screaming, crying, and shaking so bad that i probably gave my poor dad a fucking heart attack. and to this day i think of that and think about how my dad saved my life. and i think about how my dad never yelled at me for smoking, never got mad at me, and never told any family members about it to save myself from the confrontation. my dad is the best man ive ever met in my life (no shit my standards are so high and nobody will settle with me😂).

i trusted him because he was one of my bestfriends boyfriend. i am no longer associated with either of these people. i should have kept in mind that my friend was 15 years old dating this 21 year old man who was literally in love with her and wanted her to be his wife for life.. and this proves that no matter who it is, you can never trust anyone. it's so fucking scary.

if you're in the midst of a drug addiction, i wish you the best of luck and my only advice is to try your best to ignore the craving, and please please please, say no.

if you're just beginning the use of drugs/substances, don't make it an every day thing. make it a friday thing you do with your friends when you're out. have a drink once in a while. but never drink too much. never smoke too much. just stay safe.

people can easily take advantage of you while under the influence of any sort of drug. it's disgusting, but that doesn't fade the fact that it is reality.

the reality of this post is to make awareness to those struggling with addiction, and to get those who don't know what addiction is like to stop fantasizing it or romantisizing it. it's disgusting.

also it's my birthday soon and im finally turning 23 after what has felt like the longest year of my life. thanks for listening to my little tangent about drugs lmao.

What about Czechia message then? One question: did it sound like a boring ballad that any random British singer could make? No. Did it sound powerful and recognizable, with an identity behind it? Yes.

Ukraine this year? The cyberpunk was county, amazing, but Eurovision material? No. I've loved Ukraine entries in the past because they sang in their own language, which is already a +1 point regardless, AND included folk elements in the song. That flute thing they always have going on is DELIGHTFUL and EATS UP every single time. I love Eurovision because it exposes me to different sounds, different ways of singing. This is why I liked Moldova this year!

Last night I for some reason was really convinced that it would be soo so so so so so so so so easy to craft a scene where gohan and shrapner kiss a little in the locker room. The idea of he and shrapner having a homoerotic moment in the locker room is a year-old concept to me that DOES NOT COME UP EVER becasue it’s not a part of the dballz cinematic universe for realsies (I think I mentioned it twice on this blog in that time and I just dont think of it ever & it's not important & it's a throwaway thing) and it was for my fanficiton Gohan & Videl Bisexual Adventure becasue I needed him to have something to talk about to kick off the story. So what I'm trying to say is that, like, this is old, but new to me, becasue last night I read my old fanfic again and for some reason it just got me thinking....

To me then it seemed that it would be so so so so easy and simple to craft such a scene , not just a homoerotic scene like previously delineated, but they kiss even, like it seemed to be so easy and so not a big deal. I would have written it if it wasnt almost 1 am. I dont know if this makes sense. I don't know what you want me to say

I think that Shrapner has potential to come back years later as a lonely antagonist type who just cant move on from when he peaked (popular jock, thought that he was gonna end up with Videl Satan), now hes lonely and sad and not a virtuous man tbh .. the sensuality of sucking and fucking at bathhouses can only fill the void for so long... at the back of his self-image he still wants to be king ...

Everytime someone mentions the show they're from or I come across old fic of mine or pictures I saved, I wanna curl up into a ball out of shame and disgust. I really regret shipping the ship but I don't know how to stop hating myself for it!

(this is a personal issue, linked to only one ship! Please do not view this as judgement or distain to those who ship age gap ships, please!)

Hey, this took a while to answer, but here i am ❤️

If you have an AO3 account, you can orphan the fic! That way it can still be viewed by people who enjoy the ship while also keeping you safe from any notifications from it. That way it wont be associated with you at all either.

I also highly encourage you to block all the ship tags for said ship. That way you can still have your same moots and such without being subjected to said ship. I also think that if your mutuals don't already tag the ship, you should be able to ask them to do so. Tagging things is the polite thing to do, and if they arent able to do so (or simply wont), then you have every right to unfollow them. (You ofc are valid if you want to unfollow them either way, this is just giving you an alternative if you dont want to lose contact with the cool people you met through your ship)

I don't know how to stop hating yourself over a ship you used to have. The only advice i have in that regard is to remember we all have phases in our lives that we all consider cringe, even though we dont judge others for the same things we judge ourselves on! Try to be kind to yourself, and maybe find a new ship or something else to focus on, and give yourself time to heal from that internalized shame you feel. There is no need to hate yourself over a ship, whether it be a ship you have now or have had in the past.

first things first, im glad you liked baby talk. i think its my first fanfic i've written about nanami and i honestly want to write more about papamin. so trust and believe i am planning to talk about him because nanami as a dad? yeah, that doesn't really leave my mind either. i might use the fairy emoji a bit more haha, i didn't really though much about its relation to my url until now!

palm tree ⇢ do you have a fictional villain you shouldn’t like but love regardless?

i dont think i do. but if i had to mention one, i would go with the fates from hadestown. i know they are more of anti-hero, neutral character, but the way they are portrayed comes across as playful and even daring when pushing the other characters to their limit is soooo fun. their songs in the musical are so good as well. i know they aren’t villains, but they also seem pretty shameless with their behavior, so that’s why I’m mentioning them!

nutmeg ⇢ how’s your room/home decorated? do you have a specific theme or style going on?

i dont have a specific aesthetic in my room. if anything, i just try to make it look and be cozy as well as having bits of me around it. i feel that if you were to look around it, you would know a little more about me: my favorite colors, my hobbies, my music tastes, etc. actually, the main colors on my page (the brown and blue) are the main colors, each being the base and accent respectively. i do put a a lot of stuff in my wall—pictures, drawings, stickers, places i've been too, and such.

i try to make my room look as close as to who i feel i am to be comfortable in it.

I got i bet on losing dogs by Mitski. I'm a sucker for sad songs and Mitski knows how to write them. this song specifically makes me think about wanting to stick to something just because you are familiar to it or you're not quite ready to let go of it even if you know its doing you no good. in a way, it comforts me because it makes me thinks on the things i am still holding on and that i could live without. besides that, i mostly associated it with friendships I've had in the past that i didn't feel but stuck with because if not i would feel alone.

Favourite thing about them

Everything His personality! I love how he is capable of being super serious and cold but also the sweetest guy ever! In the first season, especially near the start, he was the most sarcastic guy ever, and was just done with EVERYTHING, but under all that he's genuinely sweet, just look at him in Cross Duel XD

(I also really love his dub voice. It may sound a bit too old but it's really good, especially how he can sound like a fed up parent one second then a very loving brother the next)

Least favourite thing about them

What happened to him at the end. His way of getting Yuma to duel him in the final duel episode was a bit weird, and his attitude was not like him at all. I feel like it would have been more in character for him to be like 'I don't want to do this, but I have no choice, it's what I was entrusted to do...buuuuuut if you maybe duel me I'll have a reason not to' rather than the cold act he put on. I get that it was to raise stakes and all, but you can have a high stakes emotional duel without making one betray the others, like Joey and Yugi's duel in the Duelist Kingdom Arc. Also I am not happy that he was the only one who didn't get to stay on earth. If frickin' VECTOR deserved a normal life so did he!

"Oh, please. You snorer." (Yes he really did call Yuma this. Twice)

(Affection brother voice) "I believe that is called '✨detention✨'

The whole speech he gave when taking over the duel against 96 "Yuma, please know I will always be here to high five sky with you" (you hear that? That's me sobbing)

Also my favourite line (so far) in Cross Duel "I feel the same way about you <3" (this is just a dating sim at this point XD)

BrOTP

Him and Yuma! Obviously. They just ARE brothers, you can't convince me otherwise. I also like to think that Astral's mentally adopted Yuma and considers him his child. Aside from Yuma another one is him and Nelson- they're best friends post series and go off on anime rants at 2 am in the morning on the phone to each other and Nelson uses his connections to get Astral rare merch.

Also thanks to cross duel, him and Yugi are a brOTP (Astral likes how nice Yugi is and Yugi just wants to be there for him), as well as him and Yusei (he sees Yusei as a big brother, and he and Yuma remind Yusei of Leo and Luna, plus Yusei keeps an eye on him) and him and Yusaku (ptsd kids who help each other cope) and also him and Skye (they're both sweet kids and i love the idea of skye helping him calm down when he's triggered)

I just don't ship him with anyone, he's very much aroace (i say that like i dont hc EVERYONE as aroace with only a few exceptions XD)

(Hides) Him and Mist! I'm sorry, I know how popular that is, but I just can't ship them! I can easily see them as brothers, but not lovers. Not just because of them looking like twins but also I just don't think it would be a very healthy dynamic. (Also Astral and Don Thousand, because apparently that's a thing. Even if I didn't hc Don as Astral's father, that ship just makes me uncomfortable. Astral's clearly a child and Don is clearly an adult)

Random headcanon

Astral can drive despite being underage. Really really dangerously. He once had to drive a car because Kaito couldn't. In Kaito's words: "Never again!" Did they all live? Yes. Did Astral destory a lot of property? Also yes.

Unpopular opinion

I've already mentioned this one before: I can't hc Astral as nb/ using they/them pronouns. Canon has already established Astral as he/him, and while I fully understand if others want to hc him that way, I just can't, sorry.

Song I associate with them

Angel with a Shotgun (probably because of an amv I watched of him) and also Queen of Mean from Descendants 3 XD, I just think it suits the Sargasso events when he lost control. Also that bit in Happier than Ever, "I dont relate to you, cause I'd never treat me this shitty" sounds like him yelling at Eliphas.
