Part 1/2: Ok this is actually my last one I promise. So on the farm I noticed that a lot of the books Dina had on her self were written in Hebrew and she ment. that her sister would take her to the synagogue when she was a kid. So I hc that there was at least a small Jewish community that Dina and her family were familiar w/before their town went south. Even if she wasn't religious like Talia she felt comfort in that lang and speaking to her w/it. As she gets older she realizes she forgot a lot

and tries relearning through reading, but gets frustrated bc it's not exactly the same. Then one day Ellie greets her in the morning in Hebrew and she realizes Ellie had been studying too to surprise her (so she laughs- and maybe cries a little). Ellie being Ellie, tells her a bunch of facts and trivia abt Hebrew (some of which Dina refuses to admit she didn't know) In response, Dina fires back w/tidbits of her own- whether it funny puns and idioms or memories of her short childhood of peace she feels the comfort of her tongue again. She speaks in Hebrew more often now, helping Ellie (and baby JJ) along the way and within a few years they can all converse easily w/each other. (ok that one went a little overboard lol)

Ok so like there are many things I could say about this & yet I still don’t entirely know??? I think a lot of it is the characters, like no matter how lacking in depth/development some of them are I think they have so much potential????? I like to grab onto these characters and be like “mine now” & develop them in my head lmao (when people give especially the girls depth and backstories and dive into their feelings and motivations, that is SO SATISFYING, yk?)

The scene in the first round of the sports festival where Midoriya digs up all those mines, goes flying, swings that piece of metal down at Todoroki & bkg, sticks the landing (sort of lol) & then goes on to win the first round of the sports festival??? Completely without a quirk??? I love that scene bc it shows how smart he is,,,, that when he knows he can’t rely on his quirk, he can figure out another way (I think part of why he did so badly in the entrance exam was that he assumed he was gonna have OFA to back him up & so decided to rely on that, so when AM was like “btw it’ll be a little bit before you can use it + it might hurt you when you do, ok gl!” it threw him off & he temporarily forgot he had skills that weren’t OFA, but that’s off topic), I wish he realized that his head is a better asset than his quirk and relied on it more often…

The scene where Todoroki melts Sero from the ice and it cuts to Midoriya’s narration and he says something like “as Todoroki took a moment to melt his opponent from the eyes, I couldn’t help but think that he looked very sad” it just hits so hard! Like they’ve barely talked but like he SEES him ugh.

Of course, “It’s your power, Todoroki!!!/Its yours! Your quirk not his!” Up to the part when Todoroki’s declared the winner & he’s just standing there completely shocked. (Oh and afterwards when endvrs being annoying and Todoroki shuts that shit down & is like “for that one moment, for better or for worse, I forgot all about you” & then just walks away that’s so good)

Pretty much the whole stain fight?? Like,,, Todoroki getting a text from his friend and though they’ve only been friends for like a couple weeks at this point he already knows him well enough to immediately realize that it meant that he was in trouble and immediately changing direction to provide backup (AND EVEN TELLING ENDVR WHERE HE WENT CAUSE HOWEVER MUCH HE HATES HIM HE RECOGNIZES THAT HES A STRONG HERO & MIDOROYA ASKED FOR BACKUP & THATS MORE IMPORTANT)!!!! Midoriya putting the dots together that Iida was hurting and in trouble and immediately going to find him cause he wants to save his friend!!The whole scene where Midoriya comes up with a plan to fight stain & Todoroki’s like “that’s a pretty big risk but ok. Let’s protect them together” THE TRUST!!!!!! Todoroki getting through to Iida, telling him that he was worried about him but also to “stand up and become the hero you want to be!” The handcrusher scene (I think that’s the first time we really heard Midoriya laugh and I 🥺🥺🥺)!!!

This ones more mundane but “yeah! Stealth mode *whoosh*!!!” “You’re standing out even more, Midoriya :|” ATSUCJFIGUFIG ITS SO FUNNY

OH OH WHEN MIDORIYA DESTROYS OVRHL!!!!! That scene is sick af Midoriya looks so cool and overhaul gets Fucking Destroyed (as he should 💅🏻) AND THEN Eri can’t stop her quirk but Midoriya still tries to calm her down & keep her safe & when aizawa erases her quirk, the way he cradled her head so it doesn’t hit the floor as they both collapse 🥺

Also when the lov breaks into the vehicle where ovrhl was being transported just to take his arms they were so sexy for that. Thank you shigaraki <3
