Out of Curiosity. What do you think Raven’s core traits are as a person? Do you dislike a particular comic version of her? If there was one thing about Raven you never wanted to see again, what would it be?

Ooo... this is a good one.

I think her core-traits are her kindness and love for those around her, no matter what that love will look like. Whether it's physical, or emotional, or something else. She wants to have a real family, and have that support structure that she desperately craves. Her empathic powers force her to keep herself at a distance, but I also think that they allow her to truly feel what other people are feeling and that can be such a good bridge to building understanding and companionship.

I don't know if there's a version of her I dislike. There are versions I don't agree with and I think Scott Lobdell is a fuckwit who shouldn't be allowed to touch any characters ever, but I think there are aspects of each version and iteration of Raven that can be really good to build on her character. I like to see her as both perfect and flawed, and there are bits and pieces from every series and run that add to that.

One thing I wish I could never see again is the brooding, anti-social, creepy goth-girl vibe. Like, anti-social because she's trying to protect people from her powers is one thing, but full goth because... reasons? I can't do that. The girl is multi-faceted, let her have that. I also wish that Raven could explore romantic relationships with other people. There was SO MUCH HOPE for StarRae in Teen Titans Earth One, and like... it never happened. We WERE THERE. WE WERE RIGHT. THERE. And you know how I feel about certain ships within Teen Titans, so... I just wish we could have a bit more variety. But, that's also the multishipper in me talking, and some people don't like that.

Ultimately I love Raven, and I will probably devour any media with her in it. I love that she can be complicated, and fun, and funny, and kind, and evil, and dark, and flawed. I love that there is so much you can make with her, and it's why she's my favorite.

Dearest Fruits, murder ghoul 'Rora thoughts, because I know you'll appreciate them. Maybe a little disorganized, I'm just laying in bed and daydreaming about her.

I want to write a long fic about her real bad.

Murder ghoul stuff below the cut.

Aurora is devious. Brutal. Efficient. She likes the chase. Doesn't like to play with her food. Some of her packmates like the long game--the lure.

Aurora wants the rush. Adrenaline. Her own and the taste of it in her preys blood.

She's unassuming to siblings--it makes the hunt more fun. She's so small. So pretty. So bubbly. An instant darling of the humans in the clergy. She is naturally curious. Enthusiastic. The face she shows the Siblings--and her pack at first--is very different than her internal face.

She is just enough water ghoul to be a little aloof, with a solid hit of air ghoul charisma. People think they know her--most of them don't.

Between her and Aeon, she's the first to hunt. To ask about it. She asks Swiss and Cumulus--her mentors from the start. Easy to talk to, and always honest with her. Asks if she can--what she needs to know.

Swiss offers to join her. She tells him she always hunts alone. She just wants to know the rules.

And once she knows them, it becomes clear just how blood thirsty she is. She rivals Dew and Rain in her brutality. Merciless and giggling as she picks viscera out of her teeth.

Some of the other ghouls share. Bring back trophies for each other. Aurora doesn't, not at firsr. Her kill is hers. Competition was tough in the pit and she is very small. It gets easier after Swiss invites her to share. To watch him kill, to help if she wants.

But she still hates hunting with others. Feels like it isn't really hers that way. She wants the satisfaction of doing it on her own. Sometimes she and Dew will hunt side by side. Separate siblings, but simultaneously. A little friendly competition to see who can make their kill first. That always ends with them curled up together. Lazily cleaning each other as they drift toward a satisfying post meal nap.

this is an excellent question anon... clearly i have a lot of things i like about logan. i really like logan. in case if this blog was not enough. first and foremost. i love how much he loves his friends... and just how outwardly he loves in general... the "heart on his sleeve" thing does come from somewhere. given really any opportunity he Will talk about his friends and his family and every time it Kills me like :( whenever someone mentions how long he's been racing oscar he talks about it and there's one where it's mentioned he was teammates with oscar back in f4 and he's like "well actually before that too!" idk. surely you know how i feel about logan and oscar but logan has emphasized their friendship more than once and always stresses how they've gotten along so well forever and even being title rivals in f3 never came between them... my little loscar heart...

and still on that. him and kyle. i love kyle kirkwood (indycar driver + friend of logan) if you were not aware and he does the same thing where someone will bring him up and he's like "yeah kyle's my boy!" it makes me so...... put him in his indy 500 top 3 prediction bc he's his buddy and knows he's good was asked Just about key lime pie and had to say "well my friend kyle makes a really good key lime pie" even after he just said he never really eats pie? idk man. he just loves his friends <3

this one is a bit more stupid but i am forever amused by just how much of a younger brother he is. maybe i just relate to him bc i'm also the youngest of two (and my sister and i have pretty much the same gap he has to dalton) but he is so little sibling energy, especially with alex. he's a little menace. particularly evident in the monaco road trip video where alex tells him to lie and he goes along with it while also trying to make alex do it for him (he's so me) and the sandwich challenge where he whines every time alex gets in his way. i know benny's kid calls him his older brother but he is so little brother it's unreal. on the brother note this fucking idiot cracked his rib karting with dalton and that's also hilarious

I do think it was probably relatively innocent, whatever happened, considering it's almost canon that their first time - whether it was The First Time or merely Akk first-hand discovering the wonders of blowjobs, who's to say - was at Akk's parent's house, and Akk's not shown as especially bold about putting his hands on Aye before then - not gently, anyway. (This has a potential to tangent, but: Akk does a lot of grabbing Aye by his hoody in the first two episodes alone, and I know because of a mystery pair of gifsets I have half-completed, that he does a fair amount of shoving Aye around later on. But to my memory even when they hug or kiss, Akk typically waits for Aye's hands to find him first, unless it's after The Morning After).

Anyway.

I can't get the idea of Ayan being thrown out of bed out of my head, by the way. It's hard to be serious.

My favourite thing about the entire scene is Akk's helpless smile. The close-ups are wonderful, the แฟน is gorgeous and the little kiss is sublime, but it's the helpless smile after he's turned away that jumps out at me and steals my wallet at knife-point every damn time.

Truthfully, I think they probably just went to sleep. Ayan jumped on him because he's spiritually incapable of not climbing his beanstalk boyfriend even when he's lying down, even when that beanstalk has only officially been his boyfriend for ten seconds, but I imagine it just evolved into what's fast becoming a signature koala (there's a Khao-koala pun in there and I need everyone just to acknowledge I'm being strong as fuck by not making it) cling and Akk complaining that it's too warm but not really doing anything about it because he's flustered and disbelieving and giddy all at once. So what have the DCAs been told about the underground and the past six souls? I have a feeling they’d personally go on a rampage if they find out about the… uhh… six dead children.

About the dead kids? Nothing at all. They know a bit about Chara and Frisk's less than ideal home life before going to the underground, but the only thing they know about the monsters themselves is that they're "a buncha cool people!" in the words of Frisk and "extremely kind" in the words of Chara.

I feel, however, that if they do find out (which would probably be by Frisk "slipping up" saying something about "the others") at first they'd be pissed as hell (understatement) but in time they would just end up developing a deep dislike of Asgore and being extremely passive-agressive about him, which I feel would spark common arguments with Chara (and Frisk would jump in too if just to defend them). In the end, though, they'd just accept that Sun and Moon are understandably pissed at their dad and that's okay.

How do Cassius and Wyll get along, especially since they're both warlocks in a similar-ish situation? What's Wyll's fate in Cassius's playthrough?

Aaaaahhhhh they are so. Complicated. Because they are mostly opposites, but the similarities they do share cross at the worst axis, is the best way to describe them.

At first, they have assumptions about each other based on both being warlocks; Cassius expects Wyll to be like him (happily part of a devil's pact for personal gain), and Wyll expects Cassius to be like him (stuck in a terrible debt for the greater good). This doesn't last very long though, because of course Cassius shows his true colours to Wyll, and then Mizora appears and treats Wyll like he's a dog, which shows Cassius how extremely different her approach is compared to his own patron. (Typhon plays a very different game; if I had to compare him to an existing fictional character, I'd compare him to NBC's version of Hannibal Lecter.)

However, their lack of understanding each other remains the definitive feature in their relationship, especially when it comes to the fact that Wyll is so good-aligned, whereas Cassius does whatever benefits him with little regard for others, (those he's close to being the only exception,) including evil. And unlike Karlach, who believes Cassius is a better person deep down than he really is, Wyll is fully capable of seeing Cassius as a bad guy. I don't think they'd stay together if it wasn't for the necessity of their situation. But since they are together, they both figure they might as well treat each other with respect, in the very least. So it's not like they're openly hostile; they just don't see eye-to-eye. Wyll doesn't trust Cassius at all, and Cassius finds Wyll's selflessness to be annoying.

Cassius is in full support of Wyll finding a way out of his pact, because he values personal freedom above all else, and seeing Wyll have that at a limited capacity is enough that he doesn't think Wyll's pact is worth the power. In Cassius's mind, Wyll could do better, to put it plainly. So, he helps Wyll get out of Mizora's retinue. He doesn't originally plan on saving Duke Ravengard, because he doesn't have any personal motivation to do so, but seeing Wyll mourn the loss of his father unlocks a rare glimmer of sympathy for someone else in Cassius. It makes him think about how he was forced to abandon his own father and escape the Underdark. So, this is one of the rare times he does a good thing without personal gain, to make Wyll happy. I don't think he'd do it for just anyone; I think it speaks of how, despite their differences, the respect they have for each other by this time has grown to become authentic.

After the defeat of the Netherbrain, Wyll and Karlach both depart for Avernus. I think this also comes as a relief to Cassius, because he'd rather not have to fight Wyll after everything they've been through, and considering he and Astarion are on an evil path to gain control of Baldur's Gate, it just may have come to that under different circumstances.
