Someone Like You - Jackson Wang

A/N: This wasn’t requested, just a little idea that popped into my head! (And Jackson friends-to-lovers is my weakness)

You hated this. Jackson was your best friend, so you loved that he could come to you with anything, but when it was yet another person who wasn't right for him, you hated it.

Jackson had always had such a big heart, but he let people in too easily sometimes. He would fall so quickly that often whoever he was seeing didn't feel the same way. Or, unfortunately, in some cases they were interested for the wrong reasons.

Whatever it was that caused it, things would always end with a heartbroken Jackson crying to you about it.

"Do you want to talk about it?" you asked Jackson.

The minute he turned up at your door with red eyes you knew. You pulled him to your sofa where you were now sat with a crying Jackson leaning on your shoulder.

"I just don't get it," he sobbed. "What do I do wrong?"

"I don't know, Jacks," you said, trying to comfort him. "You're perfect as far as I'm concerned."

He let out a chuckle and a sniff as he sat up and tried to clean his face. "I'm sure I don't look perfect."

You fought the urge inside you to tell Jackson exactly how perfect he was to you. You'd had a crush on him for a while that you just couldn't shake, but right now he needed a friend.

"What did she say?" you asked, trying to get to the bottom of the heartbreak so you could comfort your friend.

He gave a little shrug and shook his head. "She didn't like me," he muttered.

"Then you didn't do anything wrong," you explained.

"No, it's not..."

You could tell he wanted to tell you what had happened but was struggling to get the words out. Sitting silently you let him take his time.

"She liked the idea of me, of my job, my money," he admitted softly.

"This is why I said before you get too attached they need to meet me and/or your mum. We'll be your screening process!"

Instead of answering he leant into you again, this time wrapping his arms around you. You happily returned the embrace, giving him a comforting squeeze.

"Why can't I just find someone who likes me for me? Who will be there for me like I want to be there for them?"

You sucked in a deep breath as you bit your tongue yet again. Honestly, without confessing you didn't know what to say.

"Someone who..." Jackson looked up at you then, his puppy eyes so watery you felt a twinge in your heart. "Someone like you."

Well that comment was doing nothing to quell your crush. The pair of you seemed to freeze in the moment, each second guessing what the other might be thinking.

Without warning, Jackson threw caution to the wind and leant up, pressing his lips to yours.

Your common sense kicked in quickly and you pulled back.

"Wait," you said.

Jackson swore under his breath and withdrew completely.

"No, wait," you encouraged.

"I always fuck up, see, it's just who I am."

"Jackson," you snapped.

He stopped what he was saying and looked at you.

"You have no idea how much I want to kiss you back-"

"But?" he interrupted with a sigh, knowing it was coming.

"But, are you sure this is the right time? You just got out of a relationship. I'm here for you completely, but I don't want to be a rebound."

"Wait, wait. Hold on, can we back up? You said you want to kiss me? You arent objecting because you dont like me back?"

You chuckled. "You know that wasn't the important bit of what I said."

"Ok, but..." he pried, trying to get more information out of you.

"Fine, I've had a crush on you for ages, but you've needed me there, well, we've needed each other, and I wasn't going to risk that by confessing. I know what you've been through the last couple of years and I wasn't about to let you struggle alone because of a dumb crush."

"You're literally everything I said I wanted," Jackson explained, now edging closer to you again. "You've been there for me through everything, and honestly, I feel a connection with you beyond what I've felt with any other friend. You should know I will always care about you more than a rebound." He gently took your hand. "Maybe I went about this the wrong way, but I want to be with you."

"I want to be with you too," you admitted. "Just, maybe, let's take it a bit slower?"

Jackson nodded enthusiastically.

With a smile you leant in a pecked a quick kiss to his cheek before pulling him back in to rest against you.

"Feeling happier now?" you asked him.

"Yes," he replied simply and snuggled his head against you.

You couldn't help the smile that grew on your face as you held Jackson close. Never again would have you have to worry about him turning up on your doorstep heartbroken. You were planning on taking good care of his heart now you knew he was willing to let you in.

i don't think i said ppl who like metal usually don't fuck with kpop, as i know there's a huuuuuuuuge amount of ppl who listen to both music genres but like, i was strictly into metal for a long time, and most of my friends were metal heads and met through bands i loved, i guess it could be expected when i pop out with the super junior rokkugo back in the day like "THIS MY FAVE SONG RN"

i can't tell you how many friends i lost because of the elitism when it comes to music. don't get me wrong, im egotistical as fuck when it comes to what i listen to but i also don't judge until the judgement is dropped on me lmfao. i did lose some friends even when i was still a metal whore and started my love with dir en grey. always "they're too gay" "they look like women" and "how can u even understand that?!"

those same ppl argued they preferred me when i would fixate on dir en grey rather than big bang and suju (mind you, this was a long time ago. i do not stan super junior.)

either way!!!! im a big fan of music. BIG BIG FAN OF MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!! boy groups are usually what i gravitate towards in terms of kpop but i very much enjoy girl groups too.

ok anon forgive me but i skipped the first two songs bc the song that played next was 'shit' by bo burnham and i just couldn't - i hope you dont mind the pairing but this screamed 1 thing to me

Gumpa didn't know why he fucking agreed to this. He should've told the boys about their past, should have warned them that this could all go south so fucking quickly. No, instead he had laughed softly, nervous but they didn't know the difference, and nodded slowly. Maybe part of him had craved a reason to do this, had sought out any connection he could have again.

So here he was, staring into his mirror and making sure his hair was styled, his shirt was buttoned, his slacks hugged his legs just right, and that everything was in place. It'd been... so long since he'd taken the time to get ready like this, since he'd put on anything other than coveralls that smelled faintly of motor oil and cheap detergent. He wore jewelry, cologne, hair product, everything he'd nearly forgotten in his years shambling around this junkyard turned refuge.

He pulled in a deep, steadying breath before stepping out in the main bay, immediately assaulted with choked sounds of surprise.

"Holy shit, hia!" Yok exclaimed from the couch, instantly sitting up on his knees as Gram fumbled with his drink and set it on the table.

"Hia, what the fuck?" Not-Black spoke from his spot on the back of the couch and instantly Gumpa tugged at one of his rolled up sleeves, wondering if he'd made the wrong choice in outfit.

"Does it look bad?" He laughed as if that fact wouldn't bother him, wouldn't send him spiraling. Maybe he didn't look like he remembered, maybe he-

"Fuck off, you're hot hia." Gram spoke up, eyes wide and lips slightly parted.

Gumpa was never more grateful he wasn't much of a blusher, though the praise still left a warm sensation in his chest.

"There's no way Techit will be able to resist you." Sean grinned, ever focused on the mission at hand, which was important because Gumpa definitely was not operating on all cylinders right now.

"Just remember the plan, once I have him distracted go in and get the evidence you need." He sighed, adjusting his sleeve again before forcing his hands into his pockets. He had to stop fucking fussing.

He took his motorcycle, abandoning all attempts at subtlety - but that was the point, wasn't it? He drove close, a little too close to the warehouse, too close for the guards comfort if the way they corralled him was any indication. And there was Techit, perfect. He'd been worried Techit would delegate and push the confrontation on someone else. He didn't know who he was anymore, after all.

He removed his helmet and shook out his hair, taking small pleasure in the slight hitch in Techit's step at the sight of him.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Already his hand was on the gun at his hip. That wouldn't do.

"Going for a late night ride, is there a problem?" Gumpa wondered as he swung one leg over the now secured bike and leaned his weight against the seat, appearing for all the world as if he didn't care if Techit was here. He cared, he cared so much.

"Sounds fucking convenient." Techit inched closer, but didn't adjust or remove his hand from the gun. "What are you really doing here, Gumpa?"

"I just told you, Tech." His eyes flit down to the gun, though he let his eyes roam slowly back up, across the opening of his shirt, across the chest tattoo he remembered Techit getting when they were twenty five and too drunk to make sense of anything, across the jaw he remembered scraping his teeth over, and eyes he remembered looking at him with what he had once thought was love.

"You don't get to call me that anymore." Techit snarled but it accomplished what Gumpa wanted, his hand removed from the gun and instead wrapped around Gumpa's neck, just beneath his jaw, just the way he'd liked back then. "What. The Fuck. Are You. Doing Here." He punctuated each set of words with the slightest squeeze that had Gumpa fighting to keep his eyes from fluttering backwards in his skull.

"Going on a ride, we used to enjoy riding together, remember?" He smirked, felt the way Techit's hand tightened and felt the heat of him as he stepped closer. His body remembered the sensation, the warmth of them pressed together for hours. He dropped his gaze again, watching the rhythmic pulse in Techit's neck. It would be so easy to drop his head and press his lips to that fluttering flesh, to tease and leave a mark as he used to.

"Used to. Not anymore." Techit was waning, watching Gumpa watch him, and Gumpa smirked as Techit wet his lips and pulled away just slightly. "Are you armed?"

"I'll show you mine if you show me yours." He dropped his voice to an almost whisper, watching Tech shiver at the gravel the lower tone gave him.

Multiple emotions warred on Techit's face for a long, drawn out moment and Gumpa knew it was the time to strike.

"I miss you, Tech, miss us. I guess I just wanted a reminder of what it was like. Don't you ever think about it?" He hooked his finger into the waistband of Techit's trousers, heard the sharp hiss of his breath, and he knew he'd won.

He just hoped the boys accomplished their goal. It had to be worth it for the way the wound on his heart would reopen and ache.

seonghwa would come across your phone left on the couch. thinking it'd get broken if he accidentally sat on it, he'd move it, only to see pentagon's hui in your phonecase. he'd frown at the photocard and point accusingly at it as if he was warning the photocard. would probably say something along the lines of "there's only room for one idol in this relationship" before placing the phone case-down on the coffee table.

𝒉𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒋𝒐𝒐𝒏𝒈 ─ ੈ༊

i don't think hongjoong would be all that bothered seeing exo's suho instead of him as your phonecase's photocard. he'd probably just nod at it and continue doing whatever it was he had been doing. there were more important things in life than worrying about which photocard you had put in your phonecase. would secretly swap it while you sleep.

puppy eyes. yunho wasn't angry about it, he was actually sad that seventeen's s.coups' photocard had replaced his own in your phonecase. would literally sit on the couch wondering if he'd done something wrong. he'd pout and furrow his eyebrows, worrying about it: had he made you angry? sad? it was all okay once you'd told him that your friend had gotten you a seventeen album for your birthday, and you that you wanted to show your gratitude by popping a photocard in your phonecase.

although yeosang was quiet about his own photocard in your phonecase, he would probably be more than vocal about bts' jimin being in your case. "___, please explain to me why this oaf's face is in your phonecase instead of mine?" would definitely calm down once you explained you had a fanmeeting with bangtan, but only if he was allowed to come too! but you had to change it back when you got back home.

what did stray kids' minho do to earn a place in your phonecase? well... in photocard form. of course san would be upset, but would he show it? i dont think so. i think san would play it cool, 'i won't let this bother me, it's just a photocard' but it did bother him, because minho was just a year older than him, and being san's person, you were often able to come backstage at mnet performances and so on; what if you met minho and went away with him??? youd be forced to change it back after two hours...

𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒊 ─ ੈ༊

when mingi notices that you've changed your phonecard in your phonecase, his eyebrows furrow, his lips pout and his cheeks puff a little: what was better about onlyoneof's love than him anyways? did he have better hair? better visuals? a better voice? sulky mingi became noticeable quickly, but it was kinda funny. nothing a smol cuddle wouldn't fix! but i think he'd ask you to change it back so you could have matching phonecases again ~

upon being met face to photocard with nct's taeyong while settling for bed, wooyoung frowns immediately. i feel like he'd ignore you and roll over, hoping you'd take a hint and change it back to his photocard. low and behold, taeyong's photocard stayed in the phonecase for almost a week before wooyoung confronted you about it; "hey! why does taeyong get to have his photocard in you case? huh?" but you'd just burst into a fit of laughter

i feel as though jongho would be unbothered by this? like, sure seeing jackson wang's face in your phonecase instead of his earned a few frowns, but i honestly think he'd retaliate by putting a monsta x photocard in his??? it'd be a civil battle, but either way, it'd be a funny conversation holder. i feel like it'd be a constant thing too, changing the photocards every week and laughing at each other about it, seeing who could decorate the case best etc ~~

storyline : ariya ying,22 is a college student studying fashion and has been dating jackson wang,23 for 3 years.

genre: soft , emotional

( ill hopefully be doing this to most of the chapters , songs that i think go well with story or the mood. maybe even try listening to it while reading!)

the amount of assignments kept piling up , ariyas apt was messy , she stayed up all night on her laptop , her sleeping schedule was wrong , she wasnt eating properly , she barely checked her phone , her notifications were full of jacksons miss calls and texts from a day ago and that day. everything went downhill for her. she had to sketch 4 outfits and do 4 paragraphs per outfit on explaining about it. all due on 1 week. stress was an understatement to her.

5:25 p.m

"one outfit , down. done." she let out a big sigh. ariya took a look around her apt. she didnt realise how messy it was. her stomach was grumbling. she just ignored it and continued to sketch her next dress. by then it was already 7pm and she finished sketching. now she was on her couch typing on her keyboard. her back felt sore and eyes felt so tired from not getting any sleep last night.

she heard an aggressive knock on her door. it startled her a bit. she got up and her back felt so pain. she walked up to the door and opened it.

it was jackson. he had a worried look on his face.

"ariya!" he looked like he was out of breath and pulled her into a tight hug.

"jackson? are you okay baby?" she says hugging him back. his warmth made ariya feel alive again.

"am i okay? are you okay?? why werent u answering my calls or texting me back??" he let go of ariya looking at her with such a worried look.

"what? what do you mean?" ariya said confused as she walked inside to go look for her phone.

jackson closed the door behind him. he turned on the lights and noticed the apartment was messy. but he also noticed that ariya looked really tired and pale. she found her phone.

"oh my god. jackson." she looked at her phone and had her hand on her head. jackson walked up to her sitting down on her couch.

"im so sorry babe , i didnt even know." she looked down. jackson was already concerned. he saw sketchbooks , pencils , papers scattered everywhere on the coffee table. he put things together in his head and it all clicked.

"hey, why didnt you tell me you had a lot of assignments." he kneeled down infront her holding her hand. he said it in such a soft tone that would only come out when hes talking to ariya.

"i dont know , i couldnt think properly" ariya responded, she sounded so exhausted.

"whats wrong? you look so tired." he asked her in the same tone looking at her with such sad eyes. his hand was cupping her cheek and the other was still holding her hand.

ariya looked at him , her eyes were dark yet sparkling. it made her feel at ease looking at him with his big eyes and having his presence there. a weight had been lifted off ariyas shoulders. her eyes started to tear up but she was smiling softly looking at him. jackson noticed it.

ariya collapsed to the ground hugging jackson. she just started to cry her eyes out and cried so bad. jackson didnt say anything. he understood the feeling. jackson just hugged her back tightly rubbing her back comforting and calming her down.

ariya was crying her heart out in his arms , she couldnt breathe properly. her head was in the crook of his neck. jackson knows she gets easily stressed out and cries a lot when the stress hits her bad.

"im so stressed jackson." she mumbled as she cried

"i know baby." he continued to rub her back. having jackson rubbing her back really calms down ariya when shes feeling like this. jackson hates seeing a loved one like this , in so much stress and pain.

after a few minutes , ariya calms down and her crying stops.

she stayed there in his arms quietly.

"im sorry." she whispered

"hm? why."

"because i didnt tell you anything , thats not what girlfriends do huh." she mumbled rubbing the back of his neck.

"its okay , i just got so scared and worried. thats all." he comforted her slowly rubbing her head feeling her soft hair.

"do you feel better baby?" he looks at her laying her head on his shoulder.

"yeah." she let go of him. Jacksons shirt was wet from her tears. He didn't even care. they both looked at each other in the eyes. jackson felt sad seeing her like this. but glad that she's feeling better.

"do you want to talk it out?" he asks her tucking her hair behind her ear.

"i need a drive in your car." she said.

whenever either Jackson or ariya have a lot going on in their mind , a drive always makes them feel better while ranting their feelings to each other. it's kind of their thing.

"to the moon?" he says

"yes please." she said. jackson thought her tone was cute.

ariyas stomach suddenly grumbled.

"and maybe also somewhere to eat." Ariya said. both of them laughed. ariyas smile made Jackson feel better.

He looked over at her sketches.

"did you sketch that?" he flipped thru the pages of her beautiful dress sketches.

"yeah i did." she smiled lightly

"why is my girlfriend so talented though??" he looks at her with his puppy eyes.

ariya pushes him lightly chuckling.

making Jackson laugh.

the mood lighten by their laughs and jokes.

"okay , come on! let's go get you something to eat." he helps ariya get up.

Ariya grabs her bag and puts her phone and keys in it. jackson went to the kitchen to get her some water.

"i promise , i will never do that again. ill tell you everything next time. your my go to. okay?" she smiled looking at him with such love. knowing that jackson is hers.

"okay." he grinned happily and he leaned in for a kiss. ariya kissed him back. both of them felt at ease and in love.

"i love you." he said to her sincerely.

"i love you too."

Linkai runs his hands through his hair. “What the actual fuck is wrong with this kid?” he mumbles as Ziyi moves behind him. He feels the older one gather his hair and put it in a bun before walking towards their mini fridge. “I literally don’t get it. I was so sure this would do it.”

“Linkai, nobody wants you to go home,” Ziyi explains as he places a water bottle before him. “We all want you to stay.”

“Okay? So? I don’t want to stay here,” he crosses his arms. “I wanna go home. I wanna see my mom.”

“I know you do but why don’t you wait until you graduate?” Ziyi tries to reason.

“You want me to stay one more summer with that asshole?” he glares up at the older one. “You know damn well how much I hate it there. Why won’t you help me?”

Ziyi frowns. “Linkai, you know why. You can’t stay with your mother. All she’ll do is swindle money from you-“

“At least she loved me,” Linkai stands up suddenly. “Don’t ever talk about my best friend like that ever again. You hear me, Ziyi?!”

“Linkai, she can’t take care of you,” Ziyi frowns.

He scoffs. “What do you know? You have two parents to go home every summer. You have a family that spoils you with love. I barley get to see my parents and when I finally do, I’m either shaking with fear or being pulled away from her grasps. You don’t get to tell me what’s good for me.”

Ziyi sighs. “Linkai, I just want what’s best for you. You can come stay with me for breaks-“

He scoffs. “And what? You think that’ll help? Your parents hate me.”

“Don’t say that,” Ziyi whispers.

“Why not? I heard them. I heard them say that I was the rouge Wang. I was the biggest threat to the Wang brand, wasn’t I? Your parents told me I would be lucky if I made it to 18.” Ziyi looks at him with disbelief. He opens his mouth to say something but then shuts it again. Linkai laughs coldly. “Nothing to say?”

“We can get our own place this summer,” Ziyi offers. “You won’t worry about anything. I’ll pay for it. Just...please, Linkai.” He reaches out and grabs his arm. “Linkai, please.”

He stares at the boy. Ziyi has always had Linkai’s back, even when they were little kids. When his parents would argue, Ziyi would ask if Linkai could sleep over. He taught Linkai how to ride a bike, how to shave, how to flirt. He was everything Linkai wished he could be. He had always admired him. For Ziyi, Linkai would give up his life. He was the only person who had ever shown him love in this wicked world.

“I don’t get it,” he sighs, falling back on the chair. “How could somebody like you have such a happy life and still be more sad than me?” Ziyi stares at him, a glint of dispair in his eyes. “Ziyi, I don’t want to live with you because I’m scared that I might make things worst for you. I don’t want to burden you.”

“You won’t,” he shakes his head. “You’re my little cousin - the brother I’ve always wanted. I dont want you to get hurt.”

Linkai smiles softly, looking at the boy before him. “You know, Ziyi? I don’t think I would’ve made it this far without you.”

Ziyi pulls him into a hug and together, the Wang kids cry their hearts out. It’s one of the rare moments where the two of them let their true emotions show. While Linkai had a badass exterior and Ziyi held his Buddah like aura, on the inside, they were both just a couple of little boys trying to find their ways.

Linkai silently promises to behave, Ziyi silently promises to get better. Ziyi knows they still have a long road ahead of them but just like the Huangs, he plans on protecting Linkai from any more harm - even if it hurts him more in the long run.

“What do you want with her?” Zhengting asks. Xukun stares at the boy before him. He’s disheveled. His hair is a mess and he looks like he’s been crying. Xukun also notices that his hands shake and his voice is dripping with venom as he snarls, “I said, what do you want with her?”

“With who? YN?” Xukun feels nervous. He doesn’t know what Zhengting is capable of just yet. Yanjun and Zhangjing stare at Zhengting with caution. “Dude, are you okay?”

“No, I’m not fucking okay! Do I look okay?!” he sneers. “What do you want with YN?!”

“Dude, chill out. I-“

“Leave her the fuck alone,” Zhengting orders.

Xukun blinks at him. For starters, he’s half sure that the girl never wants to see him again. That’s what she said, wasn’t it? But even if that wasn’t the case, who the hell was Zhengting to tell him that?

“Is that all?” Xukun deadpans. “Or...”

“I know what you’re after with her.”

“You don’t even know me,” Xukun retorts. Yanjun and Zhangjing are still watching. He knows they’re entertained and part of him wants to wipe the stupid smirks off of their faces. “Zhengting, I think you should go back to your dorm and take a nap or something.”

He goes to grab his arm but the other smacks it away. “Don’t fucking touch me,” he orders. Xukun raises his hands up. He’s over this whole ordeal and Zhengting can tell. “I’d be careful if I were you. Once people find out your secret, it won’t be all sunshine and rainbows anymore for you. Will it be?”

“No idea what you’re talking about,” Xukun crosses his arms.

“Do your little friends know?” Zhengting asks. “Do they know the lie you’re living?”

“What I tell my friends is my business because it’s my life,” Xukun says as he ushers the boy to the door. “Now I would run along now because I know just as much about you. Don’t I Ting?” he smiles.

Zhengting balls his fists up. “I swear, if you ever go near her ever again-“

“You know what I’ve noticed about you, Zhengting,” Xukun says, crossing his arms. “You like to act like you have her. You run around here with her hand in yours and you have your head shoved so far up your ass that you don’t even notice that she’s slipping away. So before you come back here and try to tell me to stay away from her, why don’t you ask yourself who really needs some time away from her.”

Xukun slams the door shut, not even giving him a chance to reply before turning back to the room. Yanjun and Zhangjing are both staring at him expectantly.

“Don’t look at me,” he says. “Zhengting is weird.”

A week goes by fast. Justin’s eye heals up nicely thanks to the tender care of his older sister and before he knows it, it’s Monday again. She wakes him up for class and asks if he really wants to go. He tells her yes, evaluations are on Friday and he wants to go back to A class. She asks if he wants to just stay home one more day. He says no, evaluations are on Friday and he wants her to stay in A class.

She nods and together, they get ready for school. Justin can tell she’s a bit reluctant to go. She managed to skip out on the week as well to tend to her brother’s needs and now, she looks nervous.

“One step at a time,” he says, squeezing her hand.

She nods and follows him out of the room. They don’t stop at Chengcheng’s dorm like they usually do. Instead, they head straight to Justin’s class to meet with the teacher, Jackson, and see what Justin’s missed.

According to him, it wasn’t much. He asks Justin to recite his rap for the evaluation and smiles proudly afterwards, telling him he’ll make it to A class no doubt. When the first warning bell rings, Justin turns to his sister and wraps her in a hug.

“I love you,” he says. “I’ll see you later.” She says the words back and leaves slowly to class. Justin frowns. He knows something is wrong with her but she refuses to tell him. Instead, she just smiles sweetly and changes the subject whenever he asks.

He wishes she would just let him in for once.

He decides to run to the restroom right before class actually begins. Chengcheng might be a little late and Justin doesn’t really have anyone to talk to anyways.

Justin walks inside and stops immediately. He sees Linkai and Ziyi both standing in the restroom and for a moment, he’s scared that they’ll hurt him together this time. But then Justin remembers the type of person Ziyi is and knows that Linkai won’t pull anything if he’s around.

“Sorry. I’ll just-“

“Huang,” Linkai stops him. The younger one turns around slowly, chewing his lip nervously and staring at the floor. “Listen, I’m not gonna hit you,” he sighs. “I just...” Linkai struggles to find the words. Ziyi claps a hand on his shoulder and nods encouragingly. “Why didn’t you have me expelled, Huang?”

He shrugs his shoulders, playing with the hem of his shirt. “I just know how much it means to you to be a rapper...” he mutters under his breath. “On my first day as a freshman, I remember you told the class that it was your dream to turn the industry upside down.”

“But I-“

“You don’t like me,” he says before Linkai could bring the incident back up. “I know a lot of people around here don’t but my sister always says that you can’t fight hate with hate. Love is always the way. It’s sappy but...I guess it’s better than being bitter over someone else’s thoughts of you.” He finally manages to look up, a burst of courage bubbling in his stomach. “Even if you don’t like me, I hope that you could learn to respect me the way I respect you. Even if you are the type that thinks respect is something that is earned, I hope my actions from last week were enough to earn at least enough respect to where you would just act like I don’t exist instead of bullying me all the time.”

Linkai stares at him. Ziyi is silently proud.

“I know you had a bad life. I did too. I never saw my parents growing up, my best friend died right before my eyes and my sister left me for three years. But you can’t always look at the bad things in life because then that’s all your life will be - bad. I hope that this year, you could learn to think that way as well. It makes things a lot easier,” Justin nods. “Yeah. It does.”

Linkai gulps. “I’m an asshole,” he whispers. “And I’m truly sorry, Justin. To me, you were just some snot nosed kid who seemed to get away with whatever he wanted.”

Justin nods his head slowly, looking around the room. “Well. I’m not. You and I are actually more similar than you think.”

“So we should be like...friends?” Linkai asks.

Justin scoffs. “No. I don’t want to be your friend.”

“But you just said-“

“I know what I said,” his eyes are dark now. “But you still spoke ill of my sister and you beat me up without a true, valid reason. We don’t have to be enemies anymore but I’m not going to invite you to a sleepover.” Justin rolls his eyes as he sees the shocked expression on Linkai’s face. “If there’s one thing my sister taught me, it’s that people don’t change that easily. I accept your apology but I wouldn’t dare want to be acquainted with you, Wang.”

With that, the youngest one storms out of the bathroom.

“Kaikai-“

“The kids got balls,” he cocks his head to the side. “Maybe this year is gonna be fun after all, isn’t it?” he says as he continues to stare at the place where Justin once stood.

Ziyi can’t help but think of how it’s only the second month of school as how much has already happened.

“It’s going to be an interesting school year indeed,” he replies. “Let’s go to class.”

Bias: Wonshik (Ravi) / Jaehwan (Ken)

Ravi is my original bias from the get go, when VIXX debut I instantly found him attractive, his voice ( im a goner for a deep rapper) He also reminded me of Baro from B1A4 (get to that later). Jaehwan though crept up and made himself knows, i mean how can you not fall in love with that man’s voice?! Pure fucking talent with a voice of a god tyvm. And his thighs and the rest of him arent too shabby either >_>

Bias Wrecker: Sanghyuk (Hyuk)

Now do not get me started on this Manhyuk, yes MAN HYUK!! I’ve always appreciated the maknae of Vixx but it wasnt untll recently that i started to appreciate him more. Boy grew up too well, his dancing has improved so much, as has his vocal training / abilities. That boy moves too well for his own darn good, and i’m weak for thighs..

2- Got7

Bias: Jackson

Where do i even begin with Jackson Wang.. again, being a rapper i loved his tone, physically he is the type that i go for ( i like them thick, no shame here) His genuine caring nature, passion and drive to achieve his goals and the fact that he will do anything for his loved ones, even make an ass of himself. Got me sold.

Bias Wrecker: Jinyoung

Jinyoung is my original JJP bias, and i chose him as my first Got7 bias too, he is practically perfect in everyway.. sassy, namja, built like a god.. voice like one too. Do i need to say more?

3- B.A.P

Bias: Himchan

It actually took me awhile to chose a bias in B.A.P because I didnt want to admit that I liked Himchan (dont ask me why) but it was obvious why i like him. I love his deep voice when he sings/ raps. I also admire the fact that even though he doesnt want to dance so much, he always tries his hardest. He’s sassy as fuck, and such a shit stirrer, but loves those boys like family.

Bias Wrecker: Youngjae

Where do i even begin with Yoo Youngjae? Sassy fucker at its finest, noona wrecker, sings like.. I dont even know.. his smirks literally kill me, as do his thighs. Seeing them in person made me realise just how fucking beautiful B.A.P are.. I hate and love in in equal measure.

4- B1A4

Bias: Baro / Sandeul

Like i said earlier I had picked Ravi because he reminded me of Baro. I’m literally weak for a good rapper, and no one can say that Baro isnt one.. because HELLO TRIED TO WALK ANYONE!? This man is a pure goofball, and such a talent. Duelie, well.. he snuck up with his amazing vocals.. his voice is one of the few voices i die over everytime i hear it, gives me goosebumps and shivers & literally makes me cry. Also his duckbutt is glorious..the man is built in ways that are just too much for this noona.

Bias Wrecker: CNU/Dongwoo

He is seriously such a sleaze, his voice and stage presence oozes it. He honestly fucks me up with how much he wants to fuck you through the camera when he performs. He is built the way i like too.. attractive namja ugh

5- Wanna One

Bias: Ha Sungwoon / Ong Seongwoo

Before I even saw Sungwoon, I heard his voice. His voice is what attracted me first, then i laid eyes on him, and well damn. He is so so handsome and cute, I also love the fact that he is short (i’m only 5ft) His stage presence is always huge and he puts so much effort into everything, he is a perfectionist. Ong.. was another one who’s voice attracted me first (and shamelessly he was one of the only ones I could pick out straight away at first when i saw him. He is unique looking.

Bias Wrecker: Park Woojin

This one right here is literally the worst noona killer known to mankind (atleast to me) I try my hardest not to get attached to the younger members in kpop (me being almost 32) but talent literally flows out of him, his rapping, his dancing, this kid has it all. I only see bigger and brighter things for him.

6- Day6

Bias: Wonpil

I hated him at first, I didnt understand why he got so much, and i constantly complained about hearing him sing.. BUT he got on my nerves so much that I realized I actually loved the fuck outta this cutie. Now his voice is one of my favourites and hearing it does things to me. I appreciate this man like no other.

Bias Wrecker: Brian

I refuse to call him YoungK, his name is Brian. This talented asshole... has everything, rapping, composing, singing, bassist.. UGH It is literally so hard for me because these two rival eachother like no other constantly.

7- VAV

Bias: St Van

Again he is another member that I complained about, and didnt like at first, but i knew.. I KNEW he would creep up and take the bias spot. He is honestly so precious, and i love watching him cook and just be all casual. NAMJA

Bias Wrecker: Lou

He was my original bias, and I feel bad that St Van took his spot, but he still gives me moments where i am like... DAMN BOI. cos yeah.

8- EXO

Bias: Suho

He’s not my original bias in EXO, allbeit because a friend i once had biased him and made it so i felt like i couldnt bias him, but he is definitely my main bias. This man is pure fluff, seriousness, talent, attractive and a goofball. He honestly fucks me up with just one look.

Bias wrecker: Jongdae

Need I say more? LOL.. Jongdae was my original bias, the man can sing, dance, do it all really. Smirky, charming... UGH.

9- Seventeen

Bias: Chan / DK

Again I trieddddd to not like on the young ones.. but come on now people, Chan will fuck. you. up. That boy knows how to moves, he knows we like it and enjoys making you squirm. DK, his voice, i love love loveeee his voice, and he isnt too bad to look at, he is a giant fluffball and honestly does not act his age sometimes. Bias Wrecker: LEE JIHOON

I honestly overlooked him so much, and complained about him alot, why does he get so much? he’s not that great... I WAS WRONG. THIS MAN HAS FUCKED ME OVER SO BADLY. TALENT IS EVERYWHERE. This sweet doughboy of a man is everything. Great vocals. Great visuals. Dances and tries so hard. He is so very pure and fluffy and cute amazing boyfriend material, but also has a temper that you dont want to fuck with. I love that he’s sassy and serious, but also a cutie. wahhhh

Bias Wrecker: Lucas

I tried my hardest not to like on this boy, but FUCK does he not look like a man??? Cos damn he is so attractive it HURTS. I’m so glad he finally made his debut, you deserve it bb. Noona loves you!

annyeong! this is going to be a friends to lovers series with the ultimate ult jackson wang but it’ll also include the other got7 members. this is part 1, i will add all the other parts on this post!

Jackson Wang, best friend of your best friend Mark Tuan, and now also your friend. Or as you soon found out, maybe even more than that. If only falling in love would be as easy and cute as you two wanted it to be.

PART 1 (1.3k words)

Jackson Wang was somehow becoming a big part of your life you realized one morning when you woke up to one of his texts. You met him not too long ago through Mark, a mutual friend of yours. You knew Mark since many years and since he became a part of Got7 he couldn’t stop talking about how much you and Jackson would actually go along.

And you did. Two extroverts with the strong urge to entertain people and have fun everywhere. When you met him at a party after a whole year of Mark telling you about him you knew you’d get along just great. But here’s the problem with having another friend in Korea: You actually still need to get a job here. When you moved to Korea you thought you’d find something easily but it soon turned out that it was way harder than you thought. So now you always sleep at Mark’s apartment for a few weeks while you are having interviews for jobs and then you fly back home to America.

“So when will I be able to see you again?” - The last text you got from Jackson. It’s kinda embarrassing how close you got to him in about two months. So thinks Mark, even though he was always telling you how great it would be if you and Jackson would be friends now he got kind of jealous, not in a romantic kind of way, just because the little time you have together is now shared with Jackson.

“I’ll be back in 5 days. Mark said he’ll pick me up from the Airport so if your weak heart can’t stand being away from me any longer you can join him! I have a good feeling about the upcoming interview. Maybe I can finally stay.” - You really wanted to stay.

“(Y/N)!”, Mark came straight towards you with a big smile on his face. You hugged for a few seconds and then you turned to Jackson.

Except there was no Jackson. Instead of Jackson you spotted Bambam which wasn’t what you expected but you still were happy to see him again. “Hey Bam, nice to see you again. How have you been doing?”, you asked while giving him a hug.

“Noona! I’ve been great. It’s good to see you.”, he answered really cutely but you could feel yourself blush.

“Bam, I told you you shouldn’t call me Noona. I feel flustered.”

As soon as the basic banter was over you started to think about Jackson again. It’s weird that he wasn’t here when all he did the last day was texting you about how he can’t wait to hang out in real life again and you felt a feeling of dissapointment and a bit anger coming over you. You obviously didn’t want to ask Mark about it because you still didn’t really know how he feels about you and Jackson’s new friendship. So you just continued to check your phone every few minutes to see if he wrote you.

You sat down in a little cafe not too far away from Mark’s home and after you checked what felt like the 300th time Mark snatched your phone from you. “He was really drunk yesterday and is still asleep. He told me I should wake him up when I go and pick you up but he just needed the rest. I bet as soon as he woke up from his coma he’ll write you. What even is the situation between you two now?”, the question didn’t sound mad at all. It was more a mixture of curiousness and teasing you.

“Mark!”, you laughed out, “Dont you think if I’d have a crush on him you’d already know, right? Like I’d tell you, you know that. We really just get along great.”

He rolled his eyes and leaned over the table while his eyes were shining, “So here is what I am thinking. I’ve known you for quite a long time now. Like our whole embarrassing puberty. Just as you said I know when you have a crush on someone. You were always miserable at dating because even though you’re so outgoing and funny you tend to label guys you might develope a crush on as, as you call it ‘such good friends’ because you are afraid that you might fall for them and they won’t. This just made me think you probably had a crush on me!” - you interrupted him with a sound that sounded like you were puking and shook your head, laughing. - “Anyways back to my monolouge. You like him. Maybe you do not know this yet but I do. I’m never wrong when it comes to you. So tell me your thoughts on him. If you’re honest I’ll take you to a super cool party tonight where not only your best friend, me, is but also all of the other members including no one else than Jackson.”

“Do you really think that if you won’t invite me Jackson wouldn’t?”

“I swear to god, (y/n)! This. is. not. the. point.”, he was getting impatient so you thought about what to tell him. But your mind was just a big blank space.

“What do you want me to answer? I mean, yeah, he’s definitely a really handsome man. If I would have met him without knowing who he is I would have probably shown more interest in him but all in all he’s part of your group and I never thought about this and probably won’t. Why, what would you think about that?”, you asked. It made you worried how much you wanted to know if Mark would approve of you and Jackson, even though until a minute ago you never would’ve thought that there might be something like a “you and Jackson”.

But before he could answer you heard the door of the cafe opening followed by an out of breath voice loudly saying “Mark Hyung, I’m going to KILL YOU! Why didnt you wake me up?”. You didn’t have to turn around to know who it was but you still did. A blonde and sweaty Jackson stood there, coming over to you two hugging you immediatly, whispering “Sorry. I swear to god, it’s Mark’s fault.” which you just answered with a small “I know. It’s okay.” while you hugged him back. Even though you wanted to see him since you arrived now was the wrong time. You really wanted to know Mark’s opinion.

“Did you run all the way here? I texted you where we are five minutes ago. I’m impressed.”, Mark asked Jackson with an amused face. “I actually have to go now, so you came just right. Make sure (y/n) is getting ready soon enough though for Youngjae’s birthday party tonight.”, Mark got up and gave you a small wink.

“You’re here!”, Jackson sat down beside you. “You also cut your hair. Makes you look more playful, I like it.”

“It’s Youngjae’s birthday?”, you completely overheard Jackson’s compliment while starting to panic. “I have no present and it’s already noon. Jackson, we have to leave right now.” You put money on the table, took Jackson by his wrist and went outside. There was no way you would go to his party without a present and since you had no idea what to get him you were really relieved that Jackson was by your side. You always were relieved when being in Jackson’s presence. You tried to get these thoughts out of your head and you blamed Mark for them. Without him you’d never got those kind of thoughts in the first place.

And now you found yourself looking at Jackson, studying his face and hoping he won’t notice. This needed to stop.

Jae would be so upset set about it and feel like he had to do anything to make them like him. At first he’d try not to let the lack of eye contact and the subtle rudeness get to him but after a little while he’d be straight up and ask them what he’s done wrong and how he can fix it.

Honestly, your parents would probably think that he doesn’t like them bc of how quiet he can be and maybe avoid direct conversation which would then lead to Mark thinking that they don’t like him. He’d want you to ask them if he did something wrong and then be surprised when you told him that your parents assumed the same thing that he had.

Guys, Youngjae probably just thinks that they don’t like him. Honestly, He would get so worked up and finally ask you if he did something wrong. When you told him that your parents didn’t have a problem with him and enjoyed him, he’d be so relieved and happy.

Bambi would be disappointed and upset but I don’t know how quick he’d be to ask what he can do to change their minds. I feel like bambam would want them to see his love for you on their own, without anything influencing how they feel.

He’d be so self conscious!! Yugy would probably be more upset about the possibility of you leaving him due to your parents’ thoughts. You would have to tell him all the time that you’d never leave him and so on. Seeing this would probably make your parents realize how much Yugy cares for you and they’d get over whatever they disliked.

This man is literally my spirit animal holy. Okay so we know he is a libra sun. BUT dude there is like sooooo much libra in him its insane except his moon is aqua and his rising is sag. SO LIKE WOAH FIRE AND AIR. It just seems to be like he is super compatible. Here’s what Libra and Sag are like cuz i dont talk about that much tbh. Libras (in my experience) tend to discover a lot about themselves that they didnt know they had through others. For example, to people on the outside libra is for lack of a better term ‘boring’ because its maybe they dont have the initial impression that most fire signs give which is that crazy energy right. But libra isnt a fire sign, they are air. So maybe energy isn’t as huge as fire but dont get me wrong they can get crazy. TBH to me libra is the craziest of air signs most people would be like wuuuut. BUT if you pair libra with the right kind of person, they know how to make everyone’s jaw drop because hello nobody expected that out of that boring plain libra over there. So this is where you step. You bring out the spontaneous aspect of a libras personality. He will love your adventurous nature and will do the most he can to keep up because hes gonna be fascinate by you. Let’s not forget libras are extroverted people just like you so they will thrive off of your energy. You’re going to help discover facets of his personality he never knew he had, all the while he will show you what its like to be charismatic and also balance your nature to help you relax. I really like this ship, because learning about onesself through others is very important. You will probably both make each other better people!

He has a libra moon too but i just did the whole libra sag thing so lets talk about his crazy aries nature bECAUSE WOW HE HAS LOTS OF IT. so much aries in his birthchart. They are reckless, energetic, never think first they just do(and that can work either way for him) Also they love passionately.
