Shimo Stuff From The Novelization
So, we got some new lore thanks to the GxK novelization. To start with, there’s a bunch of Shimo stuff. Namely:
- Shimo was the one who originally froze Ghidorah in the ice, meaning she’s the big reason he was out of commission for so long. This also means that Shimo could probably kick Ghidorah’s ass if need be, which is probably a sore point for the genocidal space noodle’s pride.
- Shimo’s breath can freeze/slow down atoms.
- The Iwi knew of and referred to Shimo as “the original Titan”, or “the ultimate Titan” or “quintessential Titan”. It is not elaborated on what this means.
- Shimo was quite likely the previous Alpha before Godzilla prior to her capture and imprisonment by Scar King, which lines up neatly with the idea she was Ozymandias’ mate. Whether they were co-Alphas and had a King & Queen relationship like Goji and Mothra is up to you, but I like to believe this was the case.
- Shimo is at bare minimum 3 million years old.
- Shimo and Kong are “bonded”. No idea what this means, but shippers go wild.
- The Shard is implied to have been part of Shimo.
Beyond that, we also have some other stuff:
- All animal life on the planet is implied to have originated from the Hollow Earth. This is already implied in the movie itself, but the novelization is more in your face with it.
- Kong can sense Godzilla and Mothra are like “family” (HUSBAND AND WIFE HUSBAND AND WIFE HUSBAND AND WIFE HUSBAND AND-Ahem).
- Jia was chosen because as a deaf Iwi, she could detect Mothra’s vibrations somehow.
- Godzilla absorbed part of Tiamat’s DNA. Initiate cope about how we can somehow revive her in the main MV timeline.
- Remains of Mechagodzilla are in the Monarch facilities my Assimilation!Ren AU is alive and well
- The mere existence of Shimo could potentially lead to government attempts to take over the Holloa Earth, which could cause a “world-ending event”.
- Godzilla likes Rome because the architecture reminds him of his old temple. We are never getting him out of that goddsmn coliseum.
- Project Powerhouse was built using MechaG tech.
- Red painted Skar King apes are called “Red Stripes”.
- Several new Titans/Pseudo-Titqns mentioned or given names.
---
Time to get the novelization!
I’d said in one of the many previous asks that maybe Goji finds the Colosseum vaguely familiar enough to be cozy, and it’s really cute (and bittersweet) that he likes architecture that reminds him of home... and it’s also sad, because that implies Goji can feel homesick...
IT’S ON THE CHARACTER SHEET NOVELIZATION, MOSUGOJI IS CANON

Well, the kaiju ship I ship most is Mothollante, but everyone’s already given their thoughts on that so yeah. Has a lot of the pros of Mothzilla with few of the cons, as well as the wonderful aesthetic of a genetically-engineered abomination and a goddess of nature. There’s also the obligatory puns about flowers and butterflies, and Mothra-based hurt/comfort and fluff which is one of my favorite kaiju fan plots.
Mothzilla’s… alright when handled in a certain way, but it’s a “the ship is fine but why is it everywhere” type of thing. And with the MonsterVerse especially, their relationship is better if it’s platonic. All in all, I don’t really ship it, unless a particular person’s take leans to the “humanity’s sins and nature’s virtues” aspect of both of them.
Gong’s pretty good. Tired old men being tired together.
Rodorah’s pure arson and anarchy and I value it for that, but no way is that dynamic anything approaching healthy. I ship it for the lolz.
I’ve jokingly shipped Legion from Gamera and Destroyah together before. Two big buff arthropod ladies.
Angzilla has the same benefits as Gong, really, but with more Showa craziness. I find Kongzillra to be a funny threesome, esp. because GvK would have been over in ten minutes if Mothra was there to slap some sense into Goji, to calm Kong down, and to alert the humans to Mechagoji/Ghidorah.
2MUTO is the kaiju ship I like second most, it gets points for being the only canon kaiju couple I can think of outside of the two OG Rodans, and also because I just love the MUTOs in general. Fr though, those two bugs were so sweet together, and I do think they had as much if not more chemistry than the human leads. Anyone who says that Femuto would have committed mate cannibalism on Hokmuto can face my wrath. MUTOs are clearly designed to fight, hunt, and live in pairs (therefore it makes no sense for her to kill and eat him), and it’s entirely possible they’re like crocodilians (i.e. female raises the kids and protects the nest, male brings her and the wittle babies food. Babies stay with the parents for several years until they can live on their own, and may stay within the parents’ territory for several more years. But now I’m going on one of my MUTO ecology headcanon rambles again…)
That’s all I can think of for now, have fun with these and have a nice day!
ooh this is a long one
- I think the funny thing about the hurt/comfort fluff is I only really like it with the Heisei Mothra. For some reason, maybe because she starts out as a larva, she always seemed a bit less like a goddess to me and more like a really caring person just fighting for what they love. While I read other Mothras as more closed off and unsure in social situations because of their attachment to world peace, Heisei Mothra feels more sociable and peppy, and thus capable of committed relationships
- continuing that, Mothzilla I have never really been a fan of, and I think Goji and Mothra being friends is far more interesting. They care so much and mean so much to each other, but it’s because they value their friendship, and neither of them have really had a relationship like that before. They started off as a business relationship and got closer over time, and I think their friendship is very sweet.
- Kongzilla is (usually) very relaxed old man yaoi and I like that a lot
- If you read my other previous ask about Rodorah, you’ll know how I feel about it. Very wacky very goofy very arson.
- Y’know what, I totally think Legion could get it. She’s pulled tons of arthropod ladies before.
- Again, relaxed old man yaoi, I like that a lot. For them it’s way more like, they’ve been friends for so long and have only gotten closer over time, and everyone’s wondering whether they’re official or not, and maybe they won’t say it out loud cause they don’t want the attention, but they are.
- I had a pretty brief Kongzillra phase and that was pretty fun. Mostly used for laughs and silly shipping dynamics where there’s no bad blood. They’re a power throuple.
- The MUTOs are so cute to me, the part where they meet each other in Chinatown, call to each other, nuzzle, and sync up their vocalizations when they kiss lives in my head rent free. It’s too bad Godzilla hates straight romance, because they were a very adorable and committed couple. (I also would be super into any MUTO ecology posts if you’re offering)
(this clip. this clip right here. the sound design, the cuteness, chefs kiss.)

Kaiju Week in Review (December 11-17, 2022)
Tumblr media
After the success of last year's Pacific Rim Ultimate Omnibus, Legendary Comics has launched a Kickstarter for a MonsterVerse Omnibus collecting Godzilla: Awakening, Skull Island: The Birth of Kong, Godzilla: Aftershock, Godzilla Dominion, and Kingdom Kong. It blasted past its funding goal on the first day. The Omnibus will eventually make it to retail, but naturally the Kickstarter rewards include some exclusives, like a slipcase and a different cover, as well as higher-tier bonuses like enamel pins and the ability to get drawn into the comics.
The biggest draw if you've already bought the five comics above is the debut of "Call to Action", written by Brian Buccellato and illustrated by Zid. Logline: "[S]et during the events of Godzilla vs. Kong, a Naval fighter pilot with a personal attachment to Godzilla is put to the test when his squadron is called upon to intercept the King of the Monsters." Well, I'm a sucker for mining drama out of incredibly minor characters, and Zid's the best artist these MonsterVerse comics have seen. If access to that story's all you care about, consider the $15 tier, which nets you a PDF of the Omnibus. K-D-M, who's proven to be a reliable source, is also saying that a number of the minor Titans (Na Kika, Amhuluk, Tiamat, and perhaps others) will receive Monarch bios as well. Those have been delightful sources of lore in the past.
Tumblr media
Speaking of comics, @mekagojira3k published the first issue of his self-adaptation of All Your Ruins on WebToon. Read it immediately, it's gnarly as shit! There's a kaiju with crosses on its back taunting a mysterious masked figure and what I'm choosing to interpret as a nod to the Age of Giant Condor!
youtube
I couldn't wait for the Week in Review to post about this, but it merits repeating: The Asylum is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a Destroy All Monsters-style epic called 2025 Armageddon. (Insert scare quotes around "epic" if you wish.) Most exciting to me is the return of Mega Shark, whose series inexplicably ended in 2015 just as it and the Kaiju Renaissance were finding their stride. It's also playing in five fairly random theaters across the country until the 22nd (sorry, should've gotten this post out faster). The rest of us will have to hold off until the VOD release on the 23rd.
Tumblr media
After it placed second in the last two Movie Monster Series fan polls, Bandai has thrown up its hands and given Super Mechagodzilla a vinyl, just in time for the 30th anniversary of Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II next year. January 31st is the release date for that one. They also announced a third poll, this time allowing fan submissions to determine the 10 nominees instead of making the shortlist in a smoke-filled room themselves. Yes, that means Zilla, Bagan, and the Giant Condor are theoretically on the table (but no Godzilla incarnations allowed). All's you need is a Godzilla Store account to nominate a kaiju and eventually vote.
Finally, for you Dagahra fans out there, his first figure in ages is coming soon from the Kaiju Out of the Laws line. Shame those are so expensive.
youtube
Here's the teaser for the Kaiju No. 8 anime—and yes, it's going to be part of the Toho kaiju canon. I got caught up with the manga earlier this year and found it pretty enjoyable. An older protagonist is unusual for this type of story, and I like how he's constantly drawing on his experience cleaning up kajiu corpses after taking on the more glamorous work of fighting them. You also gotta admire the boldness of calling a metamorphosing character Kafka.
Tumblr media
SciFi Japan has a first look at a film due next year called Kaiju: Island of Fire. The production company is based in Japan, but there's a lot of Hollywood talent in this one, including writer/director Andrew L. Phillips, who has a background in stunt acting. Inspired by 3Y Films, they've also brought back some veteran kaiju actors: Kent Gilbert (the swishy ship commander in Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah), Chuck Wilson (the Futurian Wilson in same), Inge Murata (every Japanese kaiju movie that's needed a German since Monster X Strikes Back), and Tomoko Ai (Katsura Mafune in Terror of Mechagodzilla). No story details yet, although you can probably guess the setting. I like the suit design of what is presumably the anti-kaiju team too, at least from the back.

How’d Ghidorah get pregnant?
Because Monsterverse Ghidorah in my universe is a hermaphrodite, meaning they possess both male and female organs, like snails as an example. Emphasizes their alien biology where hermaphrodites are the norm and the idea of separate sexes is foreign to them. Hence San's confusion to Rodan being a male in this old post I made.
But yeah, getting preggers was something I wasn't originally planning on doing, as I don't think two separate species where one is an ALIEN is compatible gene-wise. So Ghidorah being preggers is an AU where I explore the possibility because it was something my readers were interested in. One doesn't necessarily need to consider it canon to my Stockholm universe.

i dont think people understand what an 'au' means, it means Alternative Universe and thus some characters may act a little bit Out Of Character since they arent the same as the canon even if theyre super close
so yeah, that's why Ghidorah isn't acting exactly like his canon self in my asoiaf fic, cause if he did everyone would be fucking dead already

@shadowblade217 Just some design suggestions of mine for your Shi AU-based one-shots if those are still in the works, for how a four-headed Ghidorah might look; if I may:
(1) I've always imagined that a four-headed Ghidorah's necks would be arranged in a diamond-shape: Ichi's neck is at the top/back and Vivienne/Shi's neck is at the bottom/front directly below him, with Ni and San's necks on either side of both of them (when Ghidorah is standing upright, Shi likely often keeps her neck low and curled in her misery, whilst Ichi's neck easily arches above her head). So none of the heads have to reach around each-other's necks to physically interact with Shi's head and they're all in direct adjacence to hers (Ichi and San in particular), and it means Shi is symbolically at the bottom of the pecking order and is utterly at Ichi's mercy with his head and his jaws right above hers whilst also being right next to San.
(2) Instead of retaining her hazel eye colour from when she was human like Abraxas-canon!Vivienne did, Shi's eyes are as red as her brothers' - unlike in 'Abraxas' canon where Viv 'n' San were always equals and were symbiotic, Ghidorah in this alternate universe is genetically, figuratively and literally dominating Shi/Vivienne and is trying to consume everything she once was until she truly becomes a head of the Dragon in spirit.

Godzilla vs King Ghidorah (1991)
Tumblr media
The time travel story of Godzilla vs King Ghidorah doesn't make any sense. I don't mean this in a 'well if you think about it it's inconsistent how it blah blah-' kind of way, I really just think it does not and was not particularly intended to make sense. This was the movie that made young me realize that the division between 'canon' and 'headcanon' for fiction is totally arbitrary. I just need to get this straight in my mind.
The inciting incident of the film is a big UFO appearing over Japan, containing time travelers from the future, who announce that Godzilla's going to destroy Japan soon, and they invite three 20th-centuriers to join them, so that they can go back in time to World War II when Godzilla was just a regular-sized (still pretty big) non-radioactive dinosaur, and stop Godzilla from being exposed to radiation.
First things first, I do not understand what the consequences of altering the past are going to be. The futurians' story is that Godzilla is going to destroy Japan and they want to help us.
Assuming the goal is to prevent Godzilla from destroying Japan in the 21st century, from the perspective of people from the 23rd century, they propose to do this by going to 1944, by way of a stop in 1991 to pick up a science fiction author, a dinosaur expert, and a girl who sometimes has psychic powers. Does the friendly visit imply that they are asking our consent, or need our help? Another explanation escapes me.
When they get to 1944, Godzilla is wounded by American naval bombardment, and they teleport him to the Bering Strait, where presumably there will not be many nuclear bombs. The 1991ers stay in the time ship, and serve no purpose I can discern.
Secretly, the futurians leave behind three genetically engineered animals, to be exposed to radiation in Godzilla's place and turn into King Ghidorah.
So, hold up.
What happens when you change past events via time travel? I am taking it as given that it is possible to change events via time travel, but to what degree and in what ways? Like, broad strokes.
They want to stop Godzilla from destroying Japan in the 21st century, so they stop Godzilla from being 'born' back in 1954 by moving him in 1944.
Consequentially, King Ghidorah (whom the futurians control) exists in place of Godzilla in the timeline. What that means is very vague, the thing that makes the most sense to me is that there has been a Marty McFly-style fade out of Godzilla in 1991 and a reverse fade-in of King Ghidorah; everybody still knows about Godzilla, the sci-fi author's publisher calls him to discuss his *book* about Godzilla, so the consequence of time travel has just been to create one monster in place of another, and move Godzilla to the Bering Strait. I can accept this, but why exactly did the futurians take along a bunch of jerks from the 20th century? Again, do they want their consent, or do they need their assistance? Maybe they needed to bring some 1991 people along like an 'anchor' to that time period - pure speculation on my part.
Tumblr media
Either way, Emi, the futurian who has second thoughts about destroying Japan with a giant monster, makes a point of showing off the little ghidoras to Miki Saegusa, nominally the psychic character, who gets no bad vibes whatsoever from the futurians or the little ghidoras. Why does Emi show them to Miki at the point when she's still in on the plan to release them? She *executes* the plan to release them! What, narratively, does Miki in this movie?
The plan, as I understand it, is that the futurians are going to secretly control ghidora while offering a supercomputer defense system (which they presumably will also control? this also may be the computer controlling ghidora, but I'm unsure if translation issues have added to my confusion) to Japan.
If they have a trojan horse to offer, why didn't they just offer it in the first place to protect against Godzilla? Why the extra step of making ghidorah? Or why not do it the other way around?
Tumblr media
Godzilla gets big and radioactive again somehow, and beats the crap out of Ghidorah, just really wrecks him, trucks him like the jobber he is and takes off his middle head. Emi goes back to the future, patches Ghidorah up with a cyborg body, and comes back to 1991 to handle Godzilla.
Tumblr media
Hey hold up why didn't the futurians just make a big robot in the first place. Well because this isn't Godzilla vs King Ghidorah and Mechagodzilla (but it coulda been).
My favorite scene in the movie is when Shindo is in his office, facing Godzilla, believing him to be the savior he was in 1944. But what is the nature of Godzilla? Shindo and his office explode in blue flame. I am Shindo, I have questions. Godzilla explodes me as if to say "this is a movie with a cool cyborg dragon and you are definitely overthinking it".
Tumblr media
Wait hold up. They make a big todo about why they're not bringing Shindo back to the past, and they make a big point of how you can't have two of the same people at one time at once, and if you do that one of them has to vanish. I don't know if this is a weird half-remembered version of the grandfather paradox, but what if they just took 1944 Godzilla along with them to the future, since the futurians *want* to get rid of Godzilla permanently, why can't they do that? It can't be that he's too big, they have that whole big-ass ship.
And why can't they go back and redo it again? What can they and can't they do? What is the future like? What changes when you time travel to the past? How is it experienced by the people who *don't* time travel? Could it be that time has overwritten all the other Godzilla movies to be King Ghidorah in his place?

Back in 2020 I just had find out Godzilla Existence and it was great
One month later I thought "Why not make it human?" and omg I spend nights thinking on a Ghidorah(My fav kaiju) human design and BOOM!
-What If Ghidorah had bangs? one each side
my mind was blowing lmao I thought "omg I'm genious" and literally 5 months later I find out about Ruubesz existence and his gijinkas.
that was my reaction lmao
Tumblr media
I was shocked, I mean I just shared the same braincell with someone else lmao
Tumblr media
anyway, Lots of Gijinka kaijus of my Au are similar to his coincidently lmao but I will change it, except Ghidorah bros, the design is gorgeous and I don't think I can have another great idea for them again. the coincidence was killing me lol
anyway I'm rebuilding my Godzilla Gijinka Au and I will start with San :D
Tumblr media
maybe one day I will do it on digital(Maybe when I learn lmao I do not understand a single THING in digital art, congrats if you do digital art you have my full respect)
little comic lol
Tumblr media
well that's my human version of Kevin-San, since he and Ruubesz Kevin are basically siblings, I changed the much I could for not see it has the same character.
His personality is more to Canon than Fanon, which means he is curious but also cruel and mean, also very vengeful. San is always carrying a notepad and pencil for doing notes about humans(he doens't write but Draw, cause is more dynamic for him lmao), He were once "Adorable and funny" but after GvsK events he became more like his brothers.
currently lives in Mecha Godzilla City(hidden city from other Kaijus, just like in the anime) but after a time he will live by himself in Hong Kong, and he is bestie with Shin Godzilla and see Kiryu like a master or guider.
Kevin hates certain humans, and look at us with superiority and disgust, but also think humans are fascinating. His brothers came back to life thanks to Kevin, but they don't see each other anymore(Ichi and Ni don't have contact with San).
After GvsK events, and meeting the other Mechas, Kevin did notice Mechas were no well-seem beetween the flesh kaijus, and with it, especially being now a Godzilla similar, he thinks his brothers will hate on him. So he keeps distance, besides, sometimes Kevin do stalk them just for checking(San actually miss them a lot, also Ni and Ichi miss San, but he's scared of being rejected)
anyway, got quite big, but there it is. hope you like it

ough I wanna add the manga story to my little AU continuity. it'd take place long after the events of the anime, Nazo reforms once more (I might take more of a powerful alien spin on him, something similar to King Ghidorah), and Phantoma happens to be wandering searching for leads on Nazo's whereabouts, sees Ryuji Tsunkishiro get his heart torn out, and feels bad for him and also senses something in him, and decides to save him by sharing some of his magic to keep him alive and also form a psychic link with him.
and maybe they eventually kiss or something, idk. GB still misses Yamatone so it either won't happen for a while or won't happen at all. I'll figure out finer details as I read the manga. I should really make a timeline anyways since I've made all the iterations canon in my AU.
I'll probably move some time periods around or just do the usual futuristic past thing like a lot of old Japanese media like Ultraman and Kamen Rider did. which means I need to figure out what year the 60's anime takes place. gotta rewatch the Italian dub, and figure out where I put the 4 fan subtitled episodes I downloaded a few years back.

Abraxasverse Headcanon(s) - The Skull Island Kraken
Some thoughts I had about how the Kraken from ‘Skull Island’ could be adapted into the Abraxasverse, not least when musing on its chimeric fish-cephalopod-lobster-bird design and origin, and its psychotic personality. ;)
What if the reason for the above two things is because the Abraxasverse version of the Kraken’s design doesn’t turn up in the world for the first time until the 2020s. (Of course, this would have to mean that if the events of the 'Skull Island’ series DO happen in Abraxasverse, they’ll probably have to have another Titan or at least Titan design in the Kraken’s role, like you said about wishing the Kraken’s design in the show had been more like a 'Gamera’ sea monster. ;))
Why the dating change? Well…
What if the Abraxasverse adaptation of the Skull Island Kraken is the result of a Many remnant assimilating various animals and/or Hollow Earth Titans/subtitans - mostly sea creatures like octopi, fish, squids and crustaceans, and also a bird - into itself, and then with time and some other influence, the Many instance’s DNA and biology stabilised into a permanent, fully-realised and fully-functioning organism?
Obviously, if the Abraxasverse Kraken still has its canon personality, then it very much succeeded in taking after Dear Old Triple-Dad Ghidorah.
Maybe the Ghidorah-like personality in the Kraken could also be because the Many instance which ultimately became the Kraken was part of the Many that were involved in transporting MaNi’s unattended-to head away to safety after Abraxas sucked MaNi dry and MaNi’s head ran out of power, and that Many instance had enough Many-ish physical contact with MaNi’s head before separating to permanently soak up some of the personality that had been inside the head?
---
This would certainly cleanly explain the Kraken’s bonkers design and overall being Like That, and massively up the stakes regarding Mike’s poisoning and uncertain fate in the series, not to mention a huge bump in the danger everyone on Skull Island is in!
(Also you know damn well that an AbraxasVerse take on Skull Island’s events would absolutely ensure Dog gets out of that mess safe and with his best friend Annie because I love Dog and I couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t give him a happy ending! He’s a good boy!!)

Godzilla Rewatch: Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla II
Others have ranted about the name so I'll skip it. Seeing Mecha King Ghidorah recovered and used to justify the building of Mecha Godzilla is causing me flashbacks to my bad continuity induced headaches. I exaggerate, but really, leaving the time travel plot alone might have been for the best, but that's not the choice they made. I am amused by the intro narration; “We spent unknowable billions of taxpayer money to make Garuda but it sucks now. MechaGodzilla is the real deal.” They don't wait long to blare out MechaGodzilla's theme music, it's ok because it's pretty cool. I do like how the guy has his work place under camera surveillance so he can get back to looking like he was doing his job just in time, but that ends up being the one trick I find redeeming.Rodan landing so close to a bunch of tents without alerting anyone feels implausible especially given how much focus there usually is on him generating terrible winds just by flying around. It's funny, Rodan seems so short-changed by staying fairly close to his original size while Godzilla doubles in height and the fight between the two is basically Rodan kicking Godzilla's ass until he goofs up and flies right into a tail whip. Which I guess that isn't too different from the fight in Mothra vs Godzilla – maybe it's just favoritism to the older movies while I was never that into the Heisei movies? I think they were partially victims of being over-hyped – it was the 'cool kid' thing to do in the Godzilla fandom back in those early days of the internet, be really into the new continuity instead of those silly old movies and it took me a fair while to start seeing the Heisei movies.Parasite egg is fine and all, but I figure it's only done for the twist. I mean, no way this baby passes for pterosaur, parasite birds lay their eggs in the nests of other birds, not, I dunno, lizards or large insects, they want some chance to deceive the unwitting foster parents. Also: baby sure doesn't have the teeth of an herbivore does it?Pteranadon fanboy is a creep isn't he? Sheesh. “Small flying dinosaurs” is an annoying line too. My niece knew better by the time she was five years old.The first fight with MechaGodzilla is definitely an example of a boring beam battle, though I suppose Godzilla suddenly developing new power to best a MechaGodzilla is arguably a bit of a homage to the first time. The crew's sure lucky Godzilla didn't hold a grudge and was content to just push the robot over. The baby chewing shoes is kind of cute but the whole flying pteranodon robot, how do the kid's say? Cringe, is that right? The kids are supposed to be singing this very unchildish sounding noise and that's fine, but the girl in the darker pink suspenders was making some goofy faces. Not really inspiring much of an opinion on my part, but I noticed it. Oh and their song revives and powers up Rodan. Why not?!They say the only way to lure Godzilla is to use the baby, but that just makes one think of the bird calls in 84/85, or you know, just nuclear power. It actually kind of makes me wonder why they want a killer robot in MechaGodzilla so badly when both Cadmium shells and the anti-nuclear bacteria were pretty effective at incapacitating Godzilla earlier in the series. Retconning I guess. The shipping container sequence – something you're not supposed to be in even when transported by ground – is being carried by helicopter then Rodan destroys the helicopter, catches the container mid-fall and flies off with it and lands, and then and THEN MechaGodzilla and Garuda start blasting at Rodan and like so many in the Godzilla franchise start by aiming low. Probably not as bad as the one Megalon sent flying but still. I gotta feel bad for Rodan here, from his perspective he's just running out to save his baby bro and he gets jumped by a couple of war machines until they land a fatal blow. Good on him for taking out an eye canon though, Godzilla didn't even pull off any damage until he did that reverse polarity thing. The second round with Godzilla fighting MechaGodzilla is better than the first and it's mostly due to what Rodan did to run down MechaGodzilla's weapon systems. The scene of the spinal nerve cluster or “second brain” actually exploding has always made me flinch a bit from how surprisingly graphic the visual is, still does a bit. I wish I could remember where I heard the joke about “Godzilla eats the soul of a pterodactyl” but I just can't off the top of my head. Anyway, I know this was referenced in Godzilla King of the Monsters to also justify a power up, but it's still something that feels "extremely Japanese.” The effects as MechaGodzilla's heat-proof armor starts to evaporate away from the heat Godzilla's generating even without any blasts are are well done, but the feat does feel a bit silly. MechaGodzilla's been seen to have small windows that open when it lands, are we sure it won't melt the windows or something?Poor baby, ditched by their human 'mom' and then intimidated by Godzilla. It doesn't last long, but it's still pitiful. It's kind of dark with hindsight when they talk about how the Godzillas will surely be there for a new age of the dinosaurs in the far future when we all know the big one dies in a couple of movies.

Naga Ghidorah Zarla (after using her Alpha Call) vs 10 Godzilla Earths. Who wins?
Also, for reference, the Titan-Class Kaiju I mentioned are all basically just more powerful versions of Showa Universe Ultra Kaiju that are styled after the Monsterverse’s Titans.
Anyway, as always, I’ve sent you Naga Ghidorah Zarla’s abilities in DMs.

Oh shi, this might be out of my field of expertise cause I didnt even bother watching City on the Edge of Battle and Planet Eater and only watched the first because I rmb that I felt so scammed that there wasnt any actual MG in the 2nd movie that I just didnt care about watching the rest of the trilogy in its entirety lmao (tho I did saw the fight scenes)
Tho since u specifically brought up Mebius PB for powerscaling purposes, Id urge you to be rather careful with using him for any sort of powerscaling. Cause in the only 2 instances we saw this fusion in canon, his demonstration isnt actually representative of his actual power level as it isnt a “pure” duo fusion as its amped by also fusing with the 5 other Crew GUYS members, giving a pretty ridiculous amp.
Cause even if we assume that Alien Empera has not grown in power since 30 000 years ago when he basically one-shot both Ken and Belial (whom were both ~130 000 years old at the time) using the same calculation, and essentially lowballing Alien Empera to 130 000 yo Ken + Belial, this gives Empera’s power level to be at least 2x10^36 NG, and rmb, this is a LOWBALL.
Thus, this means that PB is amped by 1.33x10^34 times since his base is just at 150 NG. (Ye im also accouting for the Specium Redoublizer here because ive seen people still include as part of PB's "feats" even tho they shouldnt, but it still dosent matter in this case since in the final battle of Mebius, everyone was literally wanked up to kingdom come)
So, I’m just gonna go ahead and assume that you’re referring PB base, at 150 NG cause otherwise you’re essentially asking whether something can essentially beat a 34-way ultra fusion, which for all intents and purposes, unless its the Legendary Ultras/Absolutian Lord/Reiblood himself etc, I’d say that no one can at this point.
But otherwise, I think your Ghidorah’s abilities are still far too broad and too ambiguous. Lets just run over why with Alpha Call first. When you elaborated that the “Titan-Class Kaiju I mentioned are all basically just more powerful versions of Showa Universe Ultra Kaiju”, thats a pretty broad term yo.
Firstly, you’re gonna have to be more specific cause the kaiju powerscaling in the Showa Era is still pretty broad. Like we have your standard Tier 2 kaiju like Gomora, Red King etc, which gets one shot by choju in Ace, which in turn, also gets one shot by kaiju shown in literally episode 1 of Taro. So where exactly are you referring to in the Showa Era kaiju scale?
And secondly, how much stronger compared to the actual Showa kaiju? Cause this would help to scale Godzilla Earth.
Since iirc, Godzilla Earth back in 2030 (when hes still around 50m), was already doing a Final Wars with the present earthian kaiju, which puts him at a reasonable choju level. But him awakening and causing kaiju on the same continent (sorta) to flee is also reminiscent to beings like Maga Tano-Orochi, Greeza etc but in their case, it was apparently a worldwide event. So, by that logic, would Godzilla Earth (50m) threat level is somewhere between a choju (Tier 2-3) to essentially a Tier 4 kaiju, which is still a pretty broad estimate, so I’m gonna try and narrow it further.
As in the same comparison, you could argue that Earth (50m) was more of a threat than Ultroid Zero because the 5 standard kaiju that showed up still had the balls to try and destroy it before it inevitably became Destrudos. But idk how comfortable I’d feel if I try to classify Earth (50m) higher than a D4 Ray user that literally is able to rip apart a local AOE fabric of space-time, the damage of which would essentially spread. But the Zestium Ray from DRC was able to repair the damage (cant compare the D4 Ray launched by Destudos cause we wont have a fair comparison since DRC didnt do the same with him). So, can we somewhat narrow the estimate to from Tier 2 kaiju to a Super form of a NGH?
But then again, now that I think about it, Ultroid Zero was basically doing the same as Earth (50m) as even without using the D4 Ray, he was literally hunting down 7 standard kaiju which was gonna be used as components for Destrudos.
So at the end of all that, I’d say Earth (50m) would be around a choju level kaiju alr. Going from this base level, a single Godzilla Earth (300m) would easily obliterate standard Tier 2 kaiju.
Tho, if I were to assume that the summoned kaiju would be all be choju level (since you say they’re stronger), you’re essentially asking whether 10 Godzilla Earths (300m) can take on 70 chojus at once. Which tbh shouldnt even be a difficult fight even for a 1v70 imo due to the sheer potency of his physical capabilities alone (Tail Shockwaves that we saw cut through even solid rock formations), not to mention his EM shield + “Burning state” which is literally planet buster.
So in the end, the summoned 70 kaiju wouldnt even really make a difference in the grand scheme of things
(Also note that when im referring to choju level, im specifically talking about their physical characteristics like power output, strength and durability, not their hax like most of them have like time travelling, light speed based attacks etc)
But the above note is brings up another point of contention due to the ambiguity for Zarla because of your unclarified “stronger than Showa Era kaiju” powerscaling. Because if Zarla can outright mimic the choju or other kaiju’s hax abilities like time travelling etc, then its sort of already an easy win for her?
And I suppose that naturally also brings up the question of which kaijus specifically are gonna show up? It ranges anywhere from Tier 1 kaiju like simply giant animals all the way to kaijus beyond even chojus which a HUGE assortment of abilities, hax or otherwise.
Because there’s so many issues and ambiguity for Alpha Call, its more possible to examine just Zarla (without Alpha Call) against 10 Godzilla Earths.
Which tbh, seems like an overkill.
Because assuming Zarla dosent have an anchor (essentially plot armor) like the one we saw in the movie, didnt Void Ghidorah got clowned on severely? Like iirc a single tail swipe was already able to decapitate one of his heads, and Earth was able to rip off another using his bare hands. And I dont think even a standard Mebium Knight Shoot can compare to a planet buster Red Spiral Atomic Breath.
Tbh 1v1 might already be overkill since the Ghidorah was only ever a threat because he had the anchor? And since you didnt specify it being present with Zarla, nor any other durability changes compared to Void, wouldnt the battle end up pretty much the same???
But if we recall that her version of gravity beams are approximately around Mebium Knight Shoot, then it becomes sorta more competitive.
Recall that 1 NG is enough to completely one shot a Tier 2 fresh kaiju. And iirc, Earth’s EM shield and his base durability dosent really scale with his other prowess (Like Earth was severely wounded by the onslaught from MG city as well as being pierced by harpoons), so he’s essentially glass cannon in base. So I think its perfectly reasonable to assume that his durability isnt gonna stand against a gravity beam that is 150x stronger than an NGH’s finisher. Not to mention from 3 heads.
Unless he goes burning from the get go. But I dont believe we have seen the limits of his durability in this state. But considering that Void was also essentially a glass cannon without the anchor, its essentially down to the cliche glass cannon vs glass cannon battle result
It all falls back to who fires the first shot. Thats for 1v1 Zarla vs Earth (base)
And as said for burning state, while I can definitely agree that his durability has increased, we just dont know by how much exactly. And Zarla having up to a 150x multiplier is far too big of a margin to give the benefit of the doubt to Burning Earth’s durability being able to take the hit. So imo, its still the same glass cannon vs glass cannon matchup with the same result
Thanks for the question!

incoming rodorah , rodzilla , mothdorah , kojira and ghidzilla ship children incoming
Tumblr media
So the first ship child i would like to introduce is the rodorah children! and this two headed baby is Muerto ! , like theyre hydra father each head have theyre own personal name , unorojo and dosgola! , (as you can tell by the name unorojos name is just a combination of the spanish word one and red , and with dosgola is just a combination of the spanish word for two and gola whole word is pergola which is the anagram for Relámpago meaning lightning , if i do have spanish speakers reading this please do correct me if my translation is wrong!)
having bat like wings like ghidorah they could fly higher and as long as they want, having no armor like rodan , they are capable of being burned by lava.  They’re abilities are not  known yet but some theorize that he could spit out vibrant red lightning out of theyre mouths like ghidorah.
With theyre personality , unorojo has the fighting spirit and aggressiveness of ni and rodan! , with dosgola having the curiosity and chaotic energy of san and rodan!   With that theyre are mostly chaotic and rebellious around theyre parents , almost chasing after what they see and sometimes will sneak off in night just to have a little adventure. Because of this Jasmine will always have to lecture her brothers and being a little honest girl and will snitch on her brothers, pissing off muerto in the process.
Tumblr media
And next we have the second child of rodorah and her name is jasmine! Naming after her Jasmine flower like scales and her jasmine eyes , Shes is the most calm and level headed child in the rodorah family  With her having rodans wings she can fly as fast as him and has armor like rodan. it has been shown that she can control her body temperature to burning heat that sometimes she would burn her brother with it by mistake. Some of the nicknames she was given by both titans and humans is ‘the yellow pheonix’ for her always leaving flickers of fire as she flies over them.
With  her  always acting like a know-it-all , acting more mature than her brother and a acting like a leader. Her personality is mostly like ichi  Always obedient to her parents , snitching on her brothers antics both scolding and lecturing them as if SHE was the oldest siblings Its as if shes the third head that the two headed baby is missing.
Tumblr media
Now we come to see maegorian the rodzilla child (if you’re a game of thrones fan i bet ya’ll know whos name i got inspired by)
Maegorian just like rodan has the ability to withstand the heat of the lava due to his molten rock covered scales and armor , Maegorian could even swim in lava if he wants to. It is unknown if Maegorian have atomic breath like godzilla but there will instances where he is shown to puff out fire out of his nostrils like a true dragon. Many of the kaijus nicknamed him the ‘demon prince’ due to his draconic and devil like appearance, Still Maegorian is calm quiet and not much of a talkative type  he is also stoic at times and is the type of kid who likes to act as if theyre more mature than they’re parents. But still with him inheriting godzillas resting bitch face and rodans love for a little brawl. He can be a sweetheart to his parents.
If no one is watchign them that is.
Tumblr media
Thou i think kiko will become canon since legendary did confirm another kong movie called ‘son of kong’ but still just wanted to add him in here as a kojira child!
(also i ended giving them a backstory thats why its so long so here we go, might also try giving the others a backstory)
Kiko was adopted by kong and godzilla after monarch found a weak kiko laying next to his long dead mother  in hollow earth , monarch eventually took him in started to help nurse him back to health. When Kiko has finally fully recovered monarch introduce kong to kiko to be a surrogate to kiko. It was hard at first , with kong not knowing what to do with the baby , well except for just checking him out. But eventually after a month of monarch trying to make kong atleast interact with kiko, it eventually worked with kong fully adopting kiko and making him his son thou godzilla at first was skeptical at kongs choice but over time grew to love him. Kiko is sweet child , who would laugh at your jokes immediately and would always be the daddys boy.  Now onto gregor (yet again got the name from game of thrones ,lol)  , gregor is a special case for he was born to a ape and a lizard. Especially when he was born , when monarch approached the baby he seemed to not be moving still in fetal position , he wasnt crying nor was he making any noises , monarch thought for the worst and checked on him. Is a miracle that they found him still breathing and seemingly healthy, Monarch was obviously confused by this but after weeks before being born . Gregor suddenly started to cry and move as if he was just now being born. Monarch had a sigh of relief to see the prince of two kings was okay,   (but due to him having scales around his body,  he does have a tendancy to get irritation and will scratch his scales, luckily monarch has given him some moisturizer that eventually calmed his irritation) Gregor is a calm and timid boy who is self conscious of his appearance, just like his older brother he is a sweet child and loves his two dads very much.  (he also has a pet doug which he named dougie)
Tumblr media
Now the mosudorah children!! Lei petir is the first child of the goddess moth and the three headed dragon! , with his wings being moth like his mother (and having her sting in his two tail),  having a mane like fur and with his slender like build. Many Mistakes him for a female (thou he doesnt mind it and really  doesnt even  bother for correcting them) ,
Lei petir (lei’s name is a chinese origin flower bud, and the petir is just a indonesian word for lightning) meaning  he is mostly calm level-headed but can burst into flames in any second.
Cornelia (name meaning strong willed or wise) cornelia is the second child of the goddess moth and three headed dragon! , shes a larvae meaning that someday she would cocoon herself and have a moth form like her mom! Corneila is like a little gremlin , she would kick your kneecaps for not noticing her, you making fun of her being short and would of course get jealous at her older brothers appearance, and will slap you if you ever make her mad or bully her brother for having a slender female like structure. in short she her relationship is kind of like a hit or miss
Tumblr media
And lastly not the least the ghidzilla babies!
this is goru! (just a shorten word for ゴールデン goruden in japanese meaning golden) and of course the three heads ! (which i got the names from game of thrones if you guys can guess)  Jonor the right head! , jonor is basically the annoying brother that picks on both the eldest and the youngest sibilings , mainly he likes to annoy his sister and would most often take control of the body just to annoy her , just like ghidorah jonor can spit out gravity beams and has the ability of regeneration.  Daenei the middle head! , Daenei is the confident and responsible older sister , since daenei is the middle head she mostly controls the body, but will always get annoyed with the jonor, she scolds him whenever he takes control on one part of the body and would yell at him if he becomes to annoying for her. overall just a tired older sister. Like Godzilla daenei can shoot out atomic breath from her mouth. And lastly Jaims the left head! , being the youngest between the two and with being the only one who isnt always annoyed and scolded by theyre sibilings , you could call this kid lucky but mostly he’s just annoyed by the fact that his sibiings argue alot, Jaims is a quiet yet easily annoyed kid , he will always roll his eyes at his sibilings bickering and arguements and will always be the one to try and stop theyre “nonsense” . LIke His brother and ghidorah Jaims can shoot out  gravity beams out of his mouth and has the ability of regeneration.  And that is it! , i hope you guys like the ship babies! , which one is your favorite? and im sorry if there are any errors and grammatical errors since i kind of rushed this and i know that i didnt get to put the adult versions of them in here but i promise that i will someday make theyre adult forms! and i do hope you guys like it!

Ghidzilla, in theory, is quite the interesting character study. More often then not, the romantic and sexual tension is perhaps one of the few times it is truly equal. I will admit that Kojira can at times feel one sided as far as sexual attraction goes.
The problem is like, similar to the problems that plagues Rodorah. Often times there is no room for complexities or playing with dynamics. Very much a cut and dry approach. Either they’ve always had a thing for each other or it’s just abuse masked as sexual exploits.
I’d love to see a Ghidzilla story truly approach Stockholm Syndrome similar to how some Rodorah shippers did. *cough* @cant-blink *cough*
This is also partially due to the misunderstanding between love and lust. The fact that a person can have sex with someone but utterly hate them or are annoyed by them. Or vis versa. Be utterly in love yet can’t stomach the idea of sleeping with them.
But that can be explained for nearly every ship within this fandom. Sexual attraction does not equal romance. Nor does being in love mean you want to fuck the other person.
Rodzilla is something I’ll probably touch on in the next post, seeing as it has risen from the depths and is only now being accepted when I know for a fact I witnessed what was spoken when I made it. But pettiness aside, back on track.
Mothzilla is a good ship, you people are just boring or fail to explore just how a relationship like theirs would functions outside of “Well, they are undeniably in love! Nothing more and nothing less.” And no, you not shipping it doesn’t instantly make you cool, assholes.
Rodorah is a good ship, you people just only now see the words problematic and throw it at everything without thinking for yourselves.
Ghidzilla is a nice ship, but you people really only like it as a means to use as a way to excuse Ghidorah’s horrible actions and not make it obvious that the two would have some conflict as a couple.
Mosuradorah is a good ship, but some of you like to make it about cuckolding Godzilla, rather than Mothra and Ghidorah forming an organic relationship honestly and not just to spite the king of the monsters.
OC x Canon CAN work, but you people just steal personalities from the main cast and slap tits and vagina on one of the characters for....self insert reasons to be honest. It’s very obvious to anyone who enjoyed English class and likes analyzing shit too much.
Anyway, I’m super depressed as of writing this, and more than likely it’s a result of my own cynicism breaking through, but take it as you will. Aka, ignore everything I say, make adjustments to your media, and pretend I wasn’t the one who said something about it.
