The worst thing that ever happens to MONARCH will be when Godzilla realizes that they're actually interesting. Like... y'all think this lizard is getting in the way now? Wait until he starts reacting to MONARCH like a giant, spoiled cat who expects them to entertain him at his leisure. Wait until any sort of mobilization results in the big honkin' son of a bitch rolling up in a tsunami on the off chance the humans do something worth seeing.

Training exercises become disasters because the newbies aren't good at keeping a low profile and it's hard to give your best performance when Godzilla is eyeballing you from half a mile away.

MONARCH won't be clandestine by choice anymore. It'll be to dodge their weird, scaly #1 Fan and his embarrassed wife.

What Godzilla monsters do you ship?

Recently on Twitter, an adult woman went on an angry tirade after coming across some Mothzilla fanart, proceeding to try and dunk on every teenager that tried to defend the artist or told her that she was being a weirdo. So right now feels like a good time to talk about monsters in love just to spite them.

You guys know me, Mothollante (Biollante x Mothra) is my biggie. I really love exploring Biollante as a character herself, and giving her someone to comfort her and grow closer to just feels really good. I love talking about them, they’re my favourite yuri. Gigan x Megalon is a classic and I love them, awful idiot boyfriends. I for one am very excited for the enemies to lovers slow burn in Godzilla x Kong, Kongzilla is peak and GxK will truly be an avant-garde masterpiece for including them. I’ve started warming up to Ghidzilla too, I like the kind of couple that will fight but fighting is their love language and they’re totally enamoured with each other. Not into the interpretations where Godzilla just seems like he hates Ghidorah and their relationship, cause then they just feel like boomer comics of husbands hating their wives (not to mention I am not into non-con :/). Either way, as long as they’re both into it, they can kiss, they can fight, it’s kind of beautiful. I like Angzilla as old man yaoi, I’m not really into Mothzilla but my favourite flavour of it is when Godzilla is a sheepish dork about it, Rodorah’s cool when it’s not so toxic that I’m screaming at Rodan to get out of there… yeah that’s about it. I’m accepting of a lot of pairings and I think it’s fun to be like “haha monster love life”. Go crazy do whatever you want. These monsters have such vague personalities that the world is your oyster.

I have a headcanon about Godzilla minus one that makes the movie infinitely more terrifying.

So it's confirmed in the novelization that Godzilla knew Koichi wouldn't shoot him on Odo Island

So my headcanon is that, instead of taking pity on Koichi for showing fear; Godzilla intentionally began targeting and going after Koichi. Think of it as Godzilla playing with his food

Especially after operation crossroads where he was bombed, burned,mutilated and god knows what else. That process couldn't have felt good at all. Especially given the twist at the end of the movie seemingly confirming that Godzilla cannot die.

I'm not saying that Godzilla is in a state of intense suffering 24/7(we have Shin Godzilla for that). My headcanon is that Godzilla clearly doesn't like people(no shit he's a Boogeyman to the people of Odo Island and the first scene we see of him is him slaughtering a Japanese military repair station), his original plan was to save Koichi for last given Koichi's reluctance to fire on him. He sees that koichi is laying on the ground unmoving, thinks he's dead and he continues on his life. Then operation crossroads happens, The United States tests nuclear weapons on the island and Godzilla is brutally mutated and changed by the blast(we have a scene in the movie where he roars as the bomb changes his body)

After this he decides to go after Japan, since that's the closest known landmass he knows of that has people on it. While on route to Japan he encounters dozens of battleships and takes them out as part of his rampage...

then one faithful day he encounters a minesweeping ship, and wouldn't you know it that one guy who he let live is on that ship(only noticing this after he raised his head out of the water after getting hit with the first mine)

He goes after the ship since well,koichi is unfinished business, he gets rid of the last person on Odo Island he can go on to take out Japan.

Then koichi blows his brains out with a Sea mine, as expected this pisses him the fuck off

He rises out ot the water and is about to make his finishing move onto koichi when god damn it another destroyer gets in the way allowing that little rat to escape

Then he possibly follows the ship(keeping his distance while doing so) and that's how he finds out about Ginza and all that.

And we all know how the Ginza attack turned out

My headcanon is that Godzilla goes out of his way to target koichi in the movie for not only being a loose end on Odo Island but also for the amount of damage he takes in the movie. Godzilla is HUNTING koichi down, and with the end of the movie having Godzilla being almost killed by koichi again, I can only imagine how vicious Godzilla is in that

So, I just got out of Godzilla -1 and I can't help but wonder how godzilla viewed humanity. In the beginning it was made hinted he didn't actively attack or at least decimate the local village. I genuinely believe that the soldiers could have survived if that hadn't shot at him. After that he seems to go out of his way to attack humanity.

So does he view them as a threat? His equivalent to ants? An annoyance? Something that needs to put in its place? I don't think he's stupid, but I'm not a hundred percent sure he's on the same thinking level as people. I'm curious if he had an actual reason for putting humanity on his shit list.

Also!!! This is me over analyzing this movie! I am probably over thinking, so don't take me to seriously!

Small thoughts on Ghidorah I might use in a story some day

Revered by ancient civilizations as a sun god

Mutiple exist and their ranks are dependent on how many heads they have

Refer to themselves with plural pronouns

Grow heads as they get older

Have rapid life spans

Can light up the sky like a fireball and blind anyone who sees it

Heads are connected through gelatinous substance in the skull that sends signals through the spine to connect thought processes

Have three hearts at all times and can live on only 1 (three headed Ghidorahs are the most common because of this)

If I think of more I'll be sure to put them down

What’s your headcanon for Kevin/San Ghidorah and your opinion on the many headcanons of other artists portraying him like a child?

I talked abt how I see Ghidorah before so I might as well go more in depth with San.

The Ghidorah brothers are extremely dysfunctional in my eyes. The only reason they work together is through the shared interest in power and none of them would really say they love the other. San suffers the most from this. He is the weak link between his brothers. He tries his hardest, but simply lacks in skill compared to his brothers. Ichi berates him for not being good enough and Ni taunts him for being the most useless brother. And San is sick of it. He is so deeply sick of it. He wants nothing more than to crush everyone and prove himself, but that wouldn’t come until after his death.

Outside of that he’s kind of a bitch. He complains and gets annoyed at everything, the only difference between him and Ni is that San has learned to keep his head down while Ni never knows when to shut up. He lacks foresight a lot of the time and usually acts on impulse or whatever Ichi tells him to do. Plans aren’t really his thing. He’s been molded to kill and destroy things, and his wants revolve around that. If you took him out of that situation he would just fall back on what he knows. He’s a basement dweller who yells at video games kind of guy.

As for the Kevin thing, I’ve already complained at length about it. I think it’s annoying, but I don’t hate anyone who indulges in it. It only really pisses me off when people choose to believe that Kevin is canon and not a meme, getting upset when other people don’t abide by the meme in their characterization or when people make their own Ghidorah’s and the left head isn’t a goofy idiot.

That’s all I really wanna say abt Kevin, I’ve definitely had my fill of it. Characters who’s only purpose is to be an infantile cutesy idiot are not my favourites to say the least.

My Headcanon for Minus Godzilla:

(In my AU or what am I supposed to wrote down a short story)

Youngest of the Gojira family (if I say so about all Godzilla Eras will come together as a family).

Hates planes.

Often uses trains or warships as his "stress toy" (goddammit I cannot stop thinking about that).

Small but terrifying when you messed him.

(Human sized Minus) Grown soft to Noriko (actually, it's my idea of What If about Minus Goji won't show any aggression towards her), and he sometimes babysitting Akiko (much to Koichi's displeasure).

He (in human sized and height) and Koichi are shown as rivals.

Deep sea fishes appears on water surface means that THIS IS HIS TERRITORY (maybe canon).

Heavy sleeper he is.

Doesn't like loud noises.

He can fully understand Noriko (the shard of his skin embedded on her can gave her limited powers from him).

"Mines are like desserts for me."

He loves singing alone (his deep voice, damn I cannot imagine about what his actual voice looks like and I'm gonna marry him sooner LOL; AU for that)

And that's all about it.

So this idea has been in my head all day

Kong is with his own kind plus now he has Suko to look after which I would assume makes Godzilla feel kind of lonely since he’s the only one left of his kind

So what if Godzilla does what 1967 Gojira does and is capable of asexual reproduction? This idea has probably been done before but this is just my take on it

Godzilla decides he needs a heir since he’s getting up there in age and plus it would help him feel less lonely. Thus, Godzilla Jr is born!

Since it’s asexual reproduction, Godzilla Jr/Minilla would have pretty much the same genetic makeup as Goji. I can see him having play dates with Suko when he grows up a bit. Also Godzilla and Kong taking turns babysitting the two of them

Yandere Godzilla Headcanon

(This is in general, so no specific version of Godzilla)

Godzilla, as a yandere, would be completely different from Mothra. Now I do see every version of Godzilla acting almost the same as a yandere, but with slight differences. I might do that later, at some point.

Godzilla, as a yandere, would be possessive, controlling, manipulative, obsessive, and jealous.

Godzilla being possessive would mean you couldn’t see anyone beside him—well, maybe his kid, depending on the version. You wouldn’t be allowed to be near anyone besides him; the atomic kaiju kind of sees you as his property, but he does truly care for you, even though he doesn’t really show it most of the time. He's controlling; he wouldn’t allow you to do much of anything without him present. Want to go swimming? Alright, give him a minute. Want to go hang out? No, he doesn’t like them. The King would also try manipulating you into thinking you’re all he needs and no one else, and maybe even ruining other kaiju reputations if it meant proving to you they were bad or not trustworthy. He’s obviously obsessed with you; the thought of some kaiju taking you away from him really grinds his gears. Godzilla has to be near you all the time; otherwise, he goes kind of crazy and becomes really aggressive. The King of the Monsters is really jealous, like so jealous you can’t look at another kaiju of the opposite or same gender without him becoming incredibly jealous. You can only look at him and no one else; it’s also the same if another Kaiju starts looking at you. Oh boy, that’s a good way to get Godzilla’s attention. Only he can look at his queen, and no one else can.

But with how he’s with you, he’ll treat you like a precious flower; he’ll hold you close and cuddle you. With the added benefit of him allowing you to call him Gojira. He may sometimes get aggressive, but he truly loves his precise queen.
