i think what i'm most excited about with the live action series is how different it's gonna be.
like, obviously, it's live action, so there's limits on what they can do in terms of the crazier stunts, places, and people. the actors will have their own mannerisms and quirks they'll add to the characters that will make them distinct. it looks like it's gonna be a bit more grounded and less cartoon-y. but most of all, it's just so so so much shorter.
season one looks like it's gonna cover all the way up to loguetown, which was original a little over 100 chapters and 50 episodes, in about ten episodes. that's a lot to cover, and while they're gonna have to cut a lot of stuff, i'm so curious how they'll condense and change the story.
(it makes me wonder, with oda working with them, if it'll resemble oda's original plan for the story, which was gonna be much shorter than it ended up being. though, we won't know that unless oda says something).
it's just going to be so different than the original one piece, and that makes me really excited, cuz it'll kind of be like watching one piece for the first time again.
needless to say, i'll be ready to burst into tears
I Honestly wasn't sure what you meant! Because i have drawn him so so many times digitally BUT this one is special
BECAUSE!
Normally i do do my sketch Traditionally, But i chose to take this ask as a personall challenge to do the WHOLE thing digitally
looky at my digital sketch!!
just like my trad sketches, it is just very very light. Im so used to drawing lightly because i erase a LOT
oh and hey, while i'm at it, just take my ding dang time-lapse
ahahaha just in case you guys ever wante to watch me manually color and yes yes, do those shading lines by hand because i love them.
oh and ty Ibis for having background elements bc backgrounds are HARD. (But putting the little stickers and bgs together feels like scrapbooking and its fun!!)
If you actually watched me draw, you may get motion sickness from just how much i move my canvas around lmao
Theory: Alastor's got some daddy issues himself and his butting into Lucifer's song was less about him actually viewing Charlie as a daughter (though I do think he has some genuine fondness for her) and more about sticking it to someone he views as a deadbeat dad.
ok the director of Thame - Po: Heart That Skips A Beat is Mui Aticha Tanthanawigrai, who was one of three screenwriters for Girl From Nowhere, a screenwriter / director on F4 Thailand, AND the lead screenwriter and director for The Shipper. a super interesting track record!!
honestly if anyone was going to try to make a more serious boy band bl romance show, i'm glad it's her
i do still love bioware games, for the most part, but these days i find myself wanting something more like subnautica but with romance. First person, exploration and survival focused, minimal or no combat - but with other characters. And preferably some romance, but i'll settle for there just being interesting characters around.
"We will raise a Black Keep in Baldur's Gate. Then we will conquer the Sword Coast, and unite all its peoples under our rule."
'K, so:
A) That's confirmation that the Banites we encounter do not have a temple as their base of operation, they might have a shrine in one of the temple districts at most, but nothing more. Perhaps private shrines in their own homes, club houses, whatever.
I hope the Bhaalists are annoying about the fact that their god got a proper temple: their god was actually important in this city (and if all goes well: will be once again)
B) "We" are going to raise a temple of Bane and rule as his iron black fist are we? Even if we're the Chosen of Bhaal? I think he might have issues with this. Then again, Bane is under the full belief that Bhaal and Myrkul are his lackeys and will fall into line...
On the one hand with "redeemed" Durge, the idea that Gortash hears "father disowned me" and basically just smoothly moves onto converting them to Banite without actually explaining it or consulting them is fucking funny.
went through all of your three fics and omfggggg they're by far the best topgun fanfics out there. no contest. are you still posting here? cuz i have a small question. If your maverick grew up in texas, wouldn't he have a southern accent? does he repress it? has ice ever heard him speak southern?
C.A Cupid to Ashlynn Ella after the whole dexter situation: i think im going to take a loooong break from romance.
3 months later at the glass slipper
cupid: hey ashlynn! i need shoes for a wedding
ashlynn: oh perfect, we have a formal section over here. what kind of wedding is it? outdoors? traditional? themed?
cupid: Blondie wants it to be a large classic outdoor ceremony, but the reception will be-
ashlynn: wait blondie's getting married? to who??
cupid, confused: me? that's why im here for wedding shoes, i thought that was obvious? anyway-
ashlynn: i thought you were a going to a wedding as a guest! when did you two even start dating?? you're getting married already???
cupid, still looking at shoes, oblivious to ashlynn's distress : we started dating 2 months ago, she proposed 3 weeks ago. and we're not getting married yet, we're waiting until spring so there's still 4 more months. did you really not get an invite?? we sent them out last week- ooh do you have these in a size up?
