Crude Timeline/Breakdown of my goofy Cult of the Lamb drawings if you’re interested:
The whole premise for this i guess au? Started during my first run, I already knew the game was about kill god become god, but Did Not know you could Marry the god youd betray??? Or indoctrinate him???. Like I didn't even choose the Marriage Doctrine cuz I'm like boo r u kidding me I'm choosing violent Battle Pit always. Which Lambert wouldn't know any of this in the beginning either but the big deciding factor is:
Lamb is going into it with the mindset of Kill All Gods for what they've done to the sheep (sorry my benefactor, ur included <3) Kratos style lets go, none spared.
That being said, they have a lot of devotion towards Death, I like to think the Sheep folk prayed to The One Below for quick passings knowing they're a huge sacrificial species, and because sheep with their huge herd mentality, the worship flowed heavily which is a threat therefore that plus prophecy equals Slaughter.
So with TOWW, they play along and genuinely mean they're serving death because they worshiped Death as a concept, a divine entity. They believe when they “kill” TOWW they'll still be “together” because Death is unkillable right (and the lamb would never have to be alone again right). Something new will be written thats the both of us as one.
So in between crusading Lamb and TOWW get closer (i am going to take your throne but that doesn't mean we can't have fun banter or that i don't really really enjoy ur compliments and attention ((because I love kittys…))) and that's when the comic about tanking happens.
But oh no! Through their journey Lamb discovers that TOWW is actually a Bishop, chained for a petty family squabble??? Has a name and it’s Narinder????
The revelation kinda breaks something in their head. it upsettingly humanizes the Bishops, trivializes the death of their people, and takes TOWW off the pedestal they'd placed him on. Uh ohhhh how does this change things i mean I'm still gonna kill all the gods but what does it mean to be a god is it just a crown whats going to happen to Narinder is it actually Narinder I like ?? (And i had a comic for this time planned but idk if ill get to it)
Meanwhile Narinders opinion on the Lamb has so far just been Wow im so proud, I chose good yay I'm gonna be free (why do I feel like I could be free from their devotion alone?) (why are they just like me fr?)
When Narinder is defeated and they have the choice, the lamb feels they betray both their people for not keeping their promise to kill all gods, but also their Faith and Narinder, v conflicting.
After indoctrination, Narinder does his typical Isolation, depression, and Lamb mourns what they'd had. In their loneliness, they stop allowing their cultists to die for long. They do all Narinders quests, and when it comes to the resurrection he's like Haha I remember why I liked you. But also he can exploit this. That's the time of the Resurrection comic.
He tries to micromanage from there, if he can't be the god being worshiped rn he's going to control the god. Starts off with whispering insecurities of Your cultists will find a way to leave you, be firmer. Gods should do this, have this, they'll leave if you don't. Lamb knows what he's doing and mostly humors him to keep him around but over time they've just both started to build a proper relationship again. He successfully ironically becomes their right hand.
This goes on for a sec before Mystic Seller knocks on da door like Hello do your joobbbb. And thats a kick enough to get Lamb out of their misery shit to really consider their original plan of killing gods and what exactly they want Death to Mean. (Comes to a conclusion that death is a peace that has to be earned. Through living.)
Bringing Leshy back brings a rift and arguments between Narinder and Lamb. That's when the Narinder Confessional comic happens and he lets out just how hurt he was by Lambs betrayal (cuz that seems to be all anyone ever does to him lol except for his sons)
So as a sort of reconciliation! Lamb brings back Aym and Baal. Yay! That's that comic, where Narinder tries to say it doesn't affect him so Lamb forces them to be together. Aym and Ball stay in the cult for a good while as Lamb works to free Heket, but Narinder is still super giving Lamb the cold shoulder. When Heket is indoctrinated Narinder gets angry again that he has no say on the matter.
Lamb starts sneaking off to sit in the confessional booth at night and it gets Narinders attention. He follows them in and hears them speak about essentially their motivations and beliefs described earlier. I have a half finished comic of this to partner with Narinder’s confessional, with Lamb’s being more down to earth and kinda just explanatory of the whole timeline but who knows if ill finish it tbh
Narinder reassesses his feelings for Lamb after that.
Right after Lamb's confessional would be when the Baal and AYm comic happens, and Narinder asks for his last request of going on a mission, fully committing to living a life.
Cue big ambiguous gap of time where Lamb gets the other siblings, yada yada healing and dealing. Shamura in the pillory comic happens, the bishops are Not happy about it, but Shamura's only locked up for a night.
Probably takes a hundred or two years for the siblings being comfortable enough around each other and theres a lot less venom being spat out. Idk gods grudges be lasting forever sometimes. Eventually They can start having family game nights, cue that comic. Everyones tired of the shit Lamb and Narinders got going on.
Lamb still thinks Narinder doesnt have romantic feelings for them. Best friends til the end me and my god, never mind the tense flirting. Lamb does that with everyone. (cursed with flirty asexual disease) For Narinder its that he shouldnt have to say anything everyone should just know that the Lamb is his. Straight up if Lamb asked him, do you love me hed say yes in every sense, but though he is aware of how he feels and would be honest on approach, an immortal relationship/marriage?? It is a lot to ask of the lamb, that has to be a decision they make. Hes content as is.
but No Way could Lamb ask that without a safety net.  So when Lamb realizes Oh its like. romantic jealousy? Interesting lets see how far i can push it, announces they will be choosing a spouse (due to a wager lost they reason, depending on who asks) (the siblings who know of Shamura’s deal, watch in mild amusement at how absolutely wired this gets their brother. No one helps him.) fine for narinder If they get married thats up to them but hes gonna make sure theyre worthy of his vessel first. Marriage is just a title compared to what he and the Lamb have.
Cue comic i have planned that is Such a funny idea to me but im not liking how its turning out so who knows. But they get married yay!
Some years later kudaai has offered to make the lamb their own weapon. They go on a little trip to the spot they were sacrificed, now very overgrown and forgotten, and find their chains to make their weapons.
far future comic
many many many years later Lamb death comic.
that’s it for now. I’ll add more if ideas come but this is context if you’d like. Feel free to ask questions, I’m rotating these fellas in my head

kenjaku :-) or tengen/uraume if they've been done
Thank you for the ask! I'm just gonna do all three :D
Kenjaku
Sexuality Headcanon:
I think Kenjaku generally doesn't care about a person's gender in regards to attraction. It's far more important that the people are interesting, able to hold their attention for a long time and if they are actually looking for a relationship of whatever kind, they must feel like they are equal to each other. Also, I think as far as purely physical or aesthetic attraction goes or when it's about casual sex they prefer men.
Gender Headcanon:
Kenjaku got all the genders and goes by any pronouns or none at all. They might have some preferences for what sex their body has, but that changes over time and sometimes it aligns with their current vessel and sometimes it doesn't. Generally, in canon the characters who actually know Kenjaku don't refer to them in gendered terms, but I don't think they'd have a problem with being referred to with she/her while in Geto or Noritoshi's body or with he/him when in Kaori's. I also think this was always the case with them, it didn't just come through their CT or with age. Their CT just helped realize the fluidity of their gender more.
A ship I have with said character:
I have a whole bunch of them, but at the moment my fave is definitely TenKen. Got a great toxic mix of longing, obsession, lost friendship and vore. And it is especially interesting to get into because Tengen is so important for Kenjaku's character overall. She is their primary motivation for this whole insane plan they got, getting close to her is what drove them forward for centuries and she is likely the cause or one of the factors that drove Kenjaku to get more and more lost in their need for entertainment because they lost the connection to her.
A BROTP I have with said character:
Uraume. I just love their dynamic so much, both as a BROTP and as a sort of hatesex ship. I really miss their bickering and casual insults. Kenjaku is so gleeful about driving Uraume up the wall it's great. But also how they reluctantly help each other out and do such wild shit like going on an international tour to rile up an invasion of Japan. Or Kenjaku having to hold Uraume back like a rabid dog from killing everyone in sight because it would be Not A Good Look. True trans solidarity.
A NOTP I have with said character:
Hmm, I think it's GoKen (sorry, I know you love them). I'm just not interested in Gojo in a shipping sense, I don't really see anything interesting in their dynamic beyond the meeting in Shibuya and even that has gotten a bit old for me because everyone is talking about it constantly. I also don't like how it is often/most of the time so focused on stsg because in canon that's the only reason Gojo has any interest in Kenjaku. Without Geto he wouldn't give a shit. So from what I've seen of it, most of it is just repackaged stsg angst (especially in fanfic) and I don't care for that.
A random headcanon:
Tengen used to be something of a teacher for them, maybe they were somehow involved with the cult that formed around her, and then they slowly became more of a friend or partner for her. They developed the concept for jujutsu society together, but disagreed on the details and how far it should be taken, how curses should be handled etc.
General Opinion over said character:
*gestures at my blog and AO3 account* idk I guess I like them
Uraume
Sexuality Headcanon:
They give me a bit of an ace vibe. I think they generally don't engage much with sex or have much interest in it, but on the odd chance that they do, they prefer men (probably also who they are most aesthetically attracted to).
Gender Headcanon:
No. If we use a label, agender would come the closest, but they just don't have any gender and live completely outside of it. They don't really care if people make assumptions about them because they see these people below them anyway, so what do their opinions matter. They wouldn't really get mad about it unless they are being pestered about it or they feel like the person is stepping out of line. But if that happens, they can just kill them. Easy. Same as with Kenjaku, I think they always felt this way about their gender, it's not that they stopped caring about it with age.
A ship I have with said character:
Mainly SukUme because Sukuna is really the only person Uraume has much interest in and I like how chill Sukuna is around them. Love the scene of them laughing at Yuuji together and joking around. You can tell they have been close for a long time. I also like that Uraume shows Sukuna respect, but isn't his doormat and gets away with far more than anyone else. Unfortunately we haven't seen it yet, but Uraume cooking human meat for Sukuna Hannibal-style is also the main thing that pulls me towards them. Cannibal couple.
A BROTP I have with said character:
Kenjaku, like above. Although, their dynamic with Hakari is also becoming really interesting and I wish we saw more of them. They actually seem to vibe very well and respect or even like each other, which is quite rare with Uraume. So far they seem the most normal around him. Probably because they might see something of young!Sukuna in him and he isn't as annoying as Kenjaku.
A NOTP I have with said character:
idk...there aren't that many ships with them. I can't think of any I've seen that I didn't like. Have to say though, that I don't like when people treat Uraume in SukUme as a self-insert and you can clearly tell that the person who wrote/drew it just wants to get railed by Sukuna and doesn't actually care about Uraume.
A random headcanon:
They were eating and cooking human flesh even before Sukuna came around. They saw Sukuna tear the raw flesh from people's bodies and eat it and were like "this is so uncultured, I gotta help this guy. where's my cauldron"
General Opinion over said character:
Love them! One of my top 10 favourite jjk characters. Gege please show me more of them, especially their current fight. I also really want to know more about their philosophy, view of humanity and how it differs from Sukuna's, how they first came to meet Sukuna and who they were before that.
Tengen
Sexuality Headcanon:
Pretty firmly aroace. I don't think they ever had much interest in romance, long-term relationships or sex. She might have experimented a bit when they were younger or maybe she used to be married because of societal conventions, but as she got older she just stopped engaging with it altogether and her philosophy and buddhist beliefs only emphasized what was already there.
Gender Headcanon:
Pretty much what she already told us. She feels more drawn to the identity of woman, but it was never that rigid for her and as she got older and especially when her body started to change, she cared less and less about it. However, she still cares about gender in the sense that she doesn't see herself as a man and prefers to not be addressed as such, especially in a private setting. Like, she doesn't care what the higher-ups think, them thinking she's a man is even beneficial to her, but if someone she knows well or cares about addresses her that way directly, she will correct them. She likes masculine clothing though and playing around with assumptions and societal conventions for gender presentation in general. If I were to summarize her gender in one brief label it would be something like: woman* (star even fits with her theme)
A ship I have with said character:
TenKen (obviously). Most of the action in that ship naturally comes from Kenjaku, but I find it fascinating how despite all the shit Kenjaku has done over the centuries, she still gives them the cover of anonymity and even protects them to a degree. Heavily side-eyeing Kenjaku surviving a fight against the Heian six eyes user twice. The fight wasn't even close from what we know and yet Kenjaku somehow managed to slip away and recuperate. I also find it fascinating how in the end, she almost gives in to Kenjaku's demands or lets herself be swept away by them. She doesn't try to merge anymore and she puts up the bare minimum of a fight. Like, she knows Kenjaku is a threat, but she still cares about them in some way and sees them as just an attention seeking child (true). Also kind of funny how she says she has no idea what motivates Kenjaku because she can't see into the human heart and yet when we've seen that Kenjaku isn't at all shy to talk about why they are doing all this. Especially with her around they are basically screaming their motivation and she's there like "hmm, big mystery why they are doing this. feelings are so hard to understand." no wonder Kenjaku went insane lol She's always trying to keep that emotional distance somehow, even when her actions speak against it. It also makes it very tragic from Kenjaku's perspective. They swallowed her and still can't reach her (anymore). Also, they see their relationship as equal, while Tengen still places herself above them in terms of skill and maturity. Argh, I need their backstory.
A BROTP I have with said character:
There aren't really that many people she has a closer connection with and a friendly one at that...guess Sukuna? Her turning his corpse into a mummy is really interesting and also their similarity when she started evolving. The mummy stuff is very similar to the urban legend of Ryomen Sukuna, so I wonder what exactly her and Kenjaku did with Sukuna before and after his death and if they might've been involved with him becoming more powerful. I also like her and Yuki together. They aren't exactly friendly, not from Yuki's side at least, but the "forced to hang out with my bigoted grandma" aspect of their relationship is funny.
A NOTP I have with said character:
Her and Sukuna. I just don't see anything there except shared fascination for jujutsu and what I said above about their past. Definitely nothing that comes even close to romantic or sexual feelings on either side.
A random headcanon:
She's not from Japan or she had a long period where she toured around ancient China, India, Korea and the like. She only really started drawing attention when she was at least 200 years old, so there is a lot of time we don't really know anything about.
General Opinion over said character:
Manipulative, conservative Grandma who ruined everyone's lives with the system she created and couldn't be bothered to change things for the better. And I love her for that. Top 3 jjk character for me <3

Rapid-fire worldbuilding questions!
-Clouds and thunder are seen in the Un; is there rain? Atmospheres? -How does cosmos gravity work??? (Universal?) -Is gravity different in the fold? We see fauna “swim” through the air; does this relate to the Postmaster’s scar? -Do the Question Eels like chin scritches? -Just how habitable IS the Un? Can flora photosynthesize Unlight? Do tans work? -Are there in-world Midst/Median/Fold holidays? -With the importance of Loxlee lights for fold safety, does the Trust monopolize all fold-safe research? -Did Weepe ever babysit Tzila?
P.S. Are there any elements of the lore that you think people are paying too much attention to? As a DM, I can understand the concept of putting too much thought into something that's only surface-deep. I shall theorize anything if given the opportunity, so it'd be nice to know which parts of my conspiracy board were me reading too much into something! ^.^
🔮:
- Yep, rain and atmospheres both exist! Weather systems can roam free-range through the cosmos, and/or gravitate around individual islets. - No one knows, Down is down and Up is up. - Gravity is the same in the Fold, but certain creatures have adapted in ways that allow them to “fly” - We haven’t tried domesticating them yet – maybe in a future Midst Messages episode - The Un is equally as habitable as the Fold, it just depends whether you prefer predictable mica problems or unpredictable Fold problems. Flora do survive in the Un, though whether that’s thanks to photosynthesis or something else, who can say. Unlight doesn’t really tan you in the same way sunlight does, but a lifetime of exposure to the Un will still get you pretty weathered-looking. - Stationary Hill celebrates the day of its founding! The Trust has too many holidays to remember. And Fold communities surely observe some holidays related to the passage of the current. - The Trust doesn’t monopolize anything! That wouldn’t be Valorous. Unless it would be. idk, I’m not a notary. - Sherman may not have the BEST judgment in babysitters, but I hope he would be smart enough not to leave his daughter in Weepe’s care. That said, it would be very funny and I can see them actually getting along.
Regarding your P.S.: I personally LOVE leaving holes in a fiction. Having unanswered questions about my own world makes it feel more alive to me. Besides, some things are just more fun if left ambiguous – like the exact mathematics of the Trust system, or the way time is measured, or bocs. (Jk, the only reason we don’t go into detail about bocs is because everybody already understands how they work.)

HP Rec Fest, Day 9
Rare pair galore, my moment has come!!! This is probably my favorite rec post so far. I mean, I’ve been reccing rare pairs for @hprecfest prompts already so I’ll take this opportunity to champion my favorite rare pair writers and focus on some niche ships that I would not even consider had I not stumbled across that particular fic. Idk how many people out there indulge het ships but if anyone’s looking for something steamy hot and well-written oh boy, do I have some treats for you. You’ll notice that most fics fall within the “problematique” category due to the age gap aspect (which let’s be honest, it’s the reason why I considered reading them in the first place 🌝). By the way, some of these are the only fics written for these ships, how cool is that?!
Day 9) A 5 rare pair fic (less than 2000 fics)
Opposite Ends by pauraque (Millicent/Aberforth, E, 1.5k)
She thought she'd feel different after they'd fucked. He's lived long enough to know that he wouldn't.
would never imagine these two together in a million years but omg so freaking hot 🥵 we have so little canon info on them but both povs are fascinating and full of personality
Gouge Away by tamlane (Millicent/Victoire, T, 1.7k)
The Weasley girl has developed a keen fascination with Millicent's woodworking shop. Millicent can't seem to get rid of her, no matter how hard she tries.
another surprising but quite charming pair, I love the set up and dynamics here - so much UST under 2k wow I need more wlw age gap!
Drip, Honey, Drip by tamlane (Lily Luna/Michael Corner, E, 3k)
Lily's boss catches her daydreaming on a Friday afternoon. He thinks there could be a business opportunity in it, and he wants to hear more. Sequel here.
this fic turned me on blew my mind! very original concept perfectly executed, the sexual tension is so dripping hot and intoxicating I thought I’d combust. the sequel is equally delicious, 10/10
testosterone (sounds like a spell) by pauraque (Justin/Hannah E, 7.7k) 🏳️‍⚧️
Justin never returned to Hogwarts after the Death Eaters came. He's found that the Muggle world offers other kinds of transfiguration — a body alchemy far more powerful than any magic spell. Sometimes he wonders if anyone even remembers that once, years ago, he was a novice wizard.
one of the best, most sensitive and moving trans stories I’ve read in the fandom. it’s such a privilege to follow Justin’s journey and I adore the way he clicks with Hannah. fabulous sex scene too
Burned Silk, Buckled Leather by @ruinsplume (Draco/Sirius, E, 12k)
When Sirius discovers a down-and-out Draco Malfoy lurking around the edges of a Muggle kink club, he thinks he knows just what Draco needs. He isn't expecting to run into some long-buried needs of his own.
my favorite Draco/Sirius out there, this fic has RP’s trademark: sinfully hot, tender devastating smut bringing together complex characters and many emotional layers beneath the surface. the kink exploration here is 👨‍🍳💋 mesmerizing!

I need Gojou fans to stop.
Tumblr media
I need you to stay away from my comfort fandom and my beloved children from my comfort media.
Idk whose idea it was to have kid Gojou voiced by Killua's va. If it was Mappa, well it tracks, when left to their own devices they make JJK worse. If it was Gege then despite their Togashi worship they don't understand Killua as a character.
Gojou is nothing like Killua.
Yesterday someone compared Gojou to Leorio and in the notes to my outraged post someone replied that Leorio is what Gojou would've wanted to be. And that's an interesting observation.
Killua is what Gojou fans delude themselves Gojou could be.
_______
Why Gojou never was and never could be Killua?
Gojou was created to be the strongest and is worshiped by yjr secret society that produced him. His birth tipped the balance of his world. Before Sukuna reappeared no one could challenge Gojou into a fight. Gojou finds himself invincible and invulnerable. He's extremely arrogant. He completely buys into the paradigm and the cult of the strongest, he never tries to challenge his own worldview. He just gets appalled when Getou actually puts the "we are stronger why don't we kill these people" into action.
Has practically no emotional intelligence and whines about being lonely while actively pushing people away. When his friend started to spiral Gojou wasn't there to for him.
Gojou's powers come naturally and instinctually to him, he does practice but there's little sacrifice connected to it. The hardships the prompt him to further develop both stem from his arrogance in him underestimating his enemies.
Gojou is irresponsible and doesn't plan because he's arrogant enough to believe that he can wing any fight. He also fights alone, because he doesn't think he needs the help of others. This arrogance leads to many deaths, starting with Riko's.
_______
Killua is one of several kids born to give their parents the highest chance of creating a perfect heir. He gets chosen to this position he does not desire because his potential is assessed to be the highest. Then he gets violently tortured and brainwashed into that position. He knows he's strong but he never considers himself the strongest. He was trained to fear, and he was proven by his abusers that they are stronger than him.
He is shown to have been always capable of building emotional connections with others like with Alluka, Nanika or the attempt he makes with Canary but these are cut short and forbidden by his family. His arrogance is surface level and he has a lot of respect for the ones around him. Once he's on his own he build strong emotional bonds with the people around him. He has extremely high emotional intelligence and he is capable of being vulnerable around others. Even though initially his emotions, memories and ability to self-determine are limited by Illumi's powers.
When he's best friend spirals into darkness, Killua is right there with him, ride or die. Literally declaring his love through the concept of a lovers suicide... Yet he still tries to protect and support Gon. He goes back to challenge his abusers just to save Gon's life.
Killua's powers and abilities stem from his suffering. He was programmed to kill even though violence is not what he desires. And he's actively fighting against his programming.
Killua is more of a support fighter than a tank, though he has an enhancer slant to his transmuter nen. He fights very well in a team, he is clearly at his best when collaborating with others. He's a great planner and strategist. He's capable of very robust and in-depth analysis of a situation and of people and their motivations.
______
Killua isn't flawless. But even his arrogance or bias against older women are not that straightforward, because they are not consistent patterns, they are actually pretty well anchored in the situations he's in and/or the emotional development stage he's in. You can peel Killua's character like an onion, it will be equally layered and tears inducing as doing it with the real vegetable.
Gojou you can crack like a coconut. The hard shell of arrogant bs, irresponsibility, god complex and exploitative sense of humour will be annoying, but once cracked it will be hollow inside and just the fake deepness of "i'm too strong to connect with others" will spill out. A lazy sentiment he has while at the same time doing his utmost to get on everyone's nerves.

Ok idk if anyone said this re: Greta gerwig’s narnia on here already I only pop in from time to time…
But it seems like Liam Neeson will return to voice Aslan and Tilda Swinton is set to return as the White Witch?
There was also a comment in an interview saying it won’t change people’s conception of narnia, but just make it bigger (I think that was the phrasing, or close to it).
So I’m cautiously optimistic. That makes it sound like they want to get the audience on familiar territory — hopefully it lands! To use the same actors and then depart to dramatically from the 2005 version would be pretty jarring, so maybe they want to recreate that movie relatively closely as a launchpad for the rest of the series? But they still gotta make it their own which makes me nervous lol
Netflix handled the Shadow and Bone adaptation pretty well so maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised 😬
The only thing is that Greta Gerwig seems emphasize messaging and themes in equal measure as plot. Little Women deals prominently with marriage, expectations of womanhood, wealth/class, etc. Barbie is theme over plot, I’d almost say, given the virality of America Ferrera’s speech, I’m Kenough, and the overall impression of Barbie having an awakening to being a human woman or whatever. I haven’t seen it so maybe there’s plot I’m missing but that seems to be the idea.
This kinda thing doesn’t work for narnia, imo. I don’t want to hear Susan give a speech about womanhood in the war era, or some remark on femininity, firstly because it’s so overdone in movies these days but also bc if you’re going to put any theme/motif/messaging on equal footing to Narnia’s plot it should be faith.
I’m not saying Christianity has to slap you in the face. The Disney adaptations handled it well I think. It was there without the movie overdoing it, and there wasn’t any sort of moral or speech or sound bite to sell to the audience otherwise. It was a fantasy movie.
Susan would make an easy target, and I really hope Gerwig doesn’t fall into the “lipstick and nylons” trap everyone argues about. First of all it should hardly be foregrounded bc it doesn’t really become an issue until after she’s left narnia in which case she’s offscreen. The Last Battle maybe, but again it’s brief. My two cents on it though are that I always took it to be her grief for not being able to return to narnia forced her to try to move on, and maybe the resentment over her loss broke her faith. She’s still a character to sympathize with. People say Lewis couldn’t get past her being female and hence the lipstick and nylons but I think that’s a bad read. She was a queen, an adult woman, and cerebrally mature only to return a boarding school student. Of course she didn’t return to her dolls. I also think that it happened because she’s so logical and calculated and careful (neither good nor bad as a trait on its own) that loosing something she loved only augmented her original doubts and made her stubborn. So again it’s not about womanhood nylons and lipstick, it’s grief and sort of an internal self-defence kinda thing. If Gerwig were to explore anything with Susan as she’s older I would say doubt and logic versus faith and responsibility would both be true to the character and far more original/interesting for audiences.
I would love to see how they handle The Horse and his Boy, the Golden Age and how the kings and queens earn their titles (just, gentle, valiant, magnificent). I would love to see a Jill Pole who is allowed to cry, to be a scared school child, and also brave and stoic and thrust into an underground world on a rescue mission. I will be fascinated to see their concept for The Last Battle, because again it’s very much so a Christian story.
So I really do hope Netflix allows the series to live past the first 3, so we get new material. Caspian and Dawn Treader are gonna be a test for Gerwig’s strengths before she’s allowed into fresh territory with the other books.
I just think that if you’re intending to strip it of the intention behind the story — lost faith, found faith, tested faith, resilience, trust, redemption, all through a Christian lens, then maybe don’t adapt it at all. I’m not saying you have to make Christianity so foregrounded it feels like a sermon, but you cannot have narnia without that being the lens through which the world is understood. They aren’t separable things.
AND going back to the casting hopefully it’s not Timothy chalamet / Saoirse Ronan / Florence Pugh. As much as they’re great actors, I think for narnia as a reboot to land, they need a bunch of unknown, fresh faces and actual kids not people in their twenties/thirties. Even as a background narnia cameo it would honestly be distracting.

Hello ! <3
Actually I'm here from the very start of loa from subliminal to affirmations from 3d to amino apps shiftok I have seen everything ! I have always been successful in manifesting it's like from the start I have thought of me as a creator but now !! For some times I keep getting distracted or misunderstood or idk the thing is the self yes I know self is real duh duh duh but what about Venessa what about Laura these are my creation so how I just leave them like nothing? Ik we all need the inner peace the self knowledge the knowledge of we are everything but characters the ego how can we leave them to be it the connection the family we are the one who created now she is in the problem how are we going to leave her
Is there a thing where I can just silent all these questions and you know I think I'm attached to heal my inner child not the self but the child who have been neglected by my own self nothing is impossible I as a master manifester know it !! But Love why I can't just let it happen why can't I just imagine and think it's over why I keep going back to the old picture why? ( English is not my first Lang and while writing this I think I have adhd too ) I just can't focus
I'm not really sure if I understood your question, it is obvious that you (Ego) are confused right now. I think that you got entangled in all those "teachings" or concepts so let me shed a light on it :)
First of all, there is a massiv difference between what you learned in LOA and what I am teaching here (self realization). What I'm trying to get across to you is that you are no longer stuck in a loop of trying to fulfill an Ego, even if LOA calls that Ego "Self, God or Creator" - they don't know what they are talking about, honestly.
To know your real being you have to first abandon what you thought yourself to be. – Ada (4dbarbie)
You (Ego) wanting to manifest something stems from a THOUGHT of not having it, so you (Ego) want it. You having something, also a thought. Your mind, body, EGO, this world, people are just THOUGHTS of Self / thoughts in Awareness.
Everything already exists in you (Self). You are awareness taking the shape of this body, dreaming of this reality literally. There's nothing to manifest. There's nothing real here. You (Self) imaging lack and desire through an Ego, for real.
You literally got teached to add more imaginary labels to yourself than getting rid of labels altogther aka waking up from the dream. You have to come to the point where you understand that both Egos, Vanessa and Laura, are equally not real. You are making each of them "real" by thinking "this is me" and adding the Ego to your "I am". Let alone that you are asking this questions shows me that you are still very attached to her or both of them. Detach and disbelieve. They are not real or all you are, do you care what happens to a dream when you wake up?
You can do a lot of parctises actually: sit in silence, self inquiry or just understanding who you are are… the second part of your question is kind of already answered in what I already wrote above. Detach, this is Ego talking (also Ego labeling itself "Master-Manifestor" and being afraid of letting go.)
Stop worrying, you are already Self. You only have to let go of the thought that you are this Ego, that's all. Let the thought pass!

i watched the first 10 episodes of rgu!! some thoughts:
i am extremely into this aesthetically/conceptually i loooove things that are more allegorical and rely on an almost fairytale logic to operate
it's interesting because even this far in i would say i understand what it's about thematically (systems of power and how they operate, memory and desire, personhood and objectification, performance and the line between theater and reality) but i wouldn't say i know what it's actually about plotwise. the last two episodes it seems like it's starting to pick up so i guess the back half will maybe be a bit more focused?
i feel like every time i see people posting abt this show it's a lot of anthy love which has been very interesting so far because she's sort of a noncharacter? like notable in her lack of agency and personhood so i am very interested to see what kind of interiority she possesses considering she's currently essentially an object for everybody else to lust after and abuse. like i think her interest in animals is really telling, right? she sees them as equals because her role in this system is to be owned, essentially to be a pet
i feel like this show is the exact kind of weird that people love to point to in order to talk about how wiiiild and crazy anime is. and like to be sure i would say the watching experience feels a bit delirious but it's also sort of like. consistent with the show's fairytale logic. idk i have a high tolerance for that kind of thing so it works for me. funnier than i was expecting too!
i desperately desperately wish that i knew enough japanese to get the full cultural context for the term "revolution" as they use it in the original. because obviously that is a word with a lot of very specific cultural contexts in english, and refers both to political change as well as physical motion. but i can't say for sure that that's true in japanese as well (altho obviously they use the english word revolution in certain places)
in general the subs were a little weird, particularly it was frustrating me when i could tell that the show was doing wordplay based on the fact that third person pronouns in japanese aren't gendered. like for a show that's clearly very About gender it was annoying when i could see that that concept was being played with but not accurately translated
anyway!! it was fun, im enjoying it, very excited to watch more!

Eda refers to the Martlet as Marty. I feel like Jasper would find this endearing. Idk if they're friends (does Jasper even HAVE friends in this AU? sad) but they'd at least be running in the same circles. Casual acquaintances who appreciate each other's work. They exchange idle chit-chat in the night market.
If anyone figures out who the Martlet is before Jasper makes his identity known, it's Luz. She's smart, she's genre-savvy, she still low-key thinks she's in a fantasy story (lol), and she IMMEDIATELY clocks the Martlet as 1) Having a mysterious identity, 2) Having a mysterious BACKSTORY, 3) Being low-key sad, like, ALL the time despite his cheerful badass persona, clearly he is HIDING INNER PAIN, 4) HE'S GOT A SERIOUS SOFT SPOT FOR KIDS AND AN APPARENTLY-PERSONAL HATRED FOR BELOS, THIS IS NOT ADDING UP TO ANYTHING NICE, 5) It is entirely possible she gets a glimpse of his Emperor's Coven sigil at some point.
It's not a priority for her to figure the guy out, and it'd take a while for her to collect all the pieces to the puzzle. But after meeting Hunter she pesters Lilith for information about the Golden Guard, which leads to talk of the old one, so she knows Jasper existed. She knows Hunter is an orphan being raised by an Evil Emperor, which is just…welp, there are stories that go like that and they ALWAYS involve parental drama. She sees the Martlet and Hunter fight and notes that Marty's not as antagonistic as he could be.
…Bahaha, I have no idea how to make the timeline on THIS concept make sense, cuz she doesn't know Belos = Philip until Hollow Mind and who knows how that episode would even go down in this AU, BUT imagine her cornering Jasper like "ARE YOU CALEB WITTEBANE???" and Jasper just. fucking losing it. XD
(Does Jasper know Belos's name is Philip? Does he know the surname Wittebane? Does he even know he's human? Or does he put two and two together when he catches Luz watching an echomouse journal entry? Does he get just as interested in the journal as she is, but his interest is more morbid curiosity?)
Once Luz figures things out, or once things come out, she is just, like. Unholy screeching. OH MY GOD IT'S LIKE A REVERSE DARTH VADER SITUATION.
"Human," Hunter says, infinitely tired, "WHAT are you talking about?"
"Huh, yeah, it kinda is," Eda muses.
Jasper says that bullshit "people like me don't survive stories like this" line exactly one time around Luz and she is NOT having it. NUH-UH. NO SIR. You are NOT allowed to become a sacrificial father figure immediately after being reunited with your son! Her insistence on this is only PARTIALLY due to her own paternal loss trauma, it is also very much fueled by her love of storytelling! She drags out a whiteboard and does an impromptu presentation on TROPES and CHARACTER ARCS! She gasps as she realizes - it's not HUNTER'S redemption arc that's the big one here, it's JASPER'S. He's been riding a redemption arc for 16 years! You don't just kill off a character after that kind of development! Everyone knows Redemption Equals Death happens, like, IMMEDIATELY after the Heel-Face Turn, we are WAY past that threshold! Jasper is kinda overwhelmed but appreciates her optimism.
YEASSSSS
He doesnt have FRIENDS.... but he knows people. Like he works with the CATTs fairly often. He probably shows up to meetings and stuff and hangs around. People KNOW him. He probably does know eda, they're very similar and both hate Belos. He's cagey and he's not going to reveal much but I imagine there's been a time or two he's gotten seriously injured and it's her doorstep he shows up on. He might work with the CATTs but he doesn't trust them. He feels in his bones a trust for eda. She won't turn him in, she won't pull his mask off or tear his identity from him. She'll annoy him sure. But she won't MAKE him do anything. So once in a blue moon he shows up bloody and miserable on her doorstep to ask for help. He stays the night and he's gone by morning. He probably leaves something as a thank you. Maybe some stolen snails. Maybe a stolen owl beast potion. Potion ingredients. Whatever he has.
Luz ABSOLUTELY clocks his shit IMMEDIATELY. The only thing is she doesn't know about Grimwalkers. She's missing info on the golden guards. But it's obvious he's Hunter's dad and it's obvious Hunter doesn't know that. So she thinks like... maybe he escaped Belos but left Hunter behind... but like he is still his like biological dad. She thinks he left Hunter behind and is filled with guilt.
It's not until he is unconscious on Camila's couch and she knows what Grimwalkers are that she's like... putting the pieces together
AND ABSOLUTELY SHES ON THE "NO MOTHRRFUCKER YOU DONT GET TK DIE TRAGICALLY NOW"

Jason has rules that you can't eat anything after 8 p.m., even if someone is going to starve to death, no one should break this rule.
Coral just wanted to have a snack and so she took a cookie and, of course, she doesn't care that the clock says 8:10...
as a result, Jason runs after her and yells that he will fry her, Percy runs after both of them and yells so that Jason doesn't dare touch his sister.
Hazel and Nico just watch tiredly and wait for the opportunity to intervene at the very last moment.
Haha, I don't know about that rule for my concept of Jason. I feel like wolf instinct is making sure everyone eats (Hazel and Nico 100% share this instinct, but more on a grandma level than wolf baby). But I do like the idea that he's a lot looser when it comes to Coral. Like you'd think he'd be more stiff because her nature clashes against his and he'd want to restrain himself more against his instincts. But he doesn't have to - not with her. Because she can handle whatever he throws at her, and he knows that and understands it doesn't bother her (and that trying to lecture her on the right way to do something means nothing to her, especially if a personal rule beholden to Jason and not society as a whole).
So, lol, I'm imagining him calling up Hazel, like, "hey we gotta track down Coral, I need to go batshit insane for ten minutes", and Hazel's just "oh my god I didn't sign up for this shit", and then they find Coral, Coral explicitly and purposely breaks a rule in front of him then handles it easily when he snaps, while Hazel stands back, looking exasperated like her dad when he has to be the older brother, and makes sure they don't murder each other or accidentally hurt someone else.
Because at his core Jason doesn't want to hurt anyone. Sometimes an execution seems like the only proper response, and he doesn't really like that about himself - but in the same breath, he also knows he's one of the few people who won't be affected by it because it's the right thing to do/the law requires it as punishment, so if it becomes the only possible outcome, or something that's voted on, he always volunteers himself to be the one who holds the knife, or syringe, or whatever they use, idk how they'd handle the death penalty. It's a complicated to understand that the way you think is best might be dumb while, at the same time, holding it in such high importance that it baffles you other people don't agree.
(Fun fact: My OC, June, has so much love for the world but her gut instinct is violence every single time, no matter how minor the rule, because of reasons, and this causes her so much internal pain that sometimes I get mad at about it, lol)
I think, unlike June, Jason has more stages in his idea of justice. Teaching people about morals and ethics, showing them the difference between right and wrong, explaining the importance of the rules - these are likely his starting points. It might be that his gut instinct is violence but he's taught himself better ways to start off (which June, unfortunately, is not capable of, due to the way I've structured her story). He's also softer because while he feels the urge to be the leader, he doesn't necessarily want to be. Sometimes he wants collaboration. It can be difficult at times, yes, but that's how Jason is. He wants everyone to be equal. I don't think he has OCPD but I do think he deals with some traits of it, varying in intensity at certain times.
Thalia would be different - in what I remember of canon, she's more volatile, more insistent on being in charge, was immediately promoted to Lieutenant and there's never any indication she was unhappy about that. So, whether she has it or not, maybe OCPD traits are much stronger and prominent in her than in Jason.
She might have a harder time letting go of the reigns, or accepting collaborative efforts than he does. She might have a higher sense of superiority than he does - in part because she's the daughter of Zeus and gets pedestal-ed for it, and in part because any possible OCPD traits push that sense of "I'm right and everyone else is wrong". She might get more anxious when things aren't orderly or perfect, or focus too much on the small things.
Which works out - you know, everyone is different, it wouldn't make sense for them to be the same.
With my Neptune girls, Coral is on the more extreme end of szpd, but Melpomene exists in more of a middle ground, with a higher prevalence for ASPD traits than Coral (I'll go into that in a separate post when I have time, but was thinking about ASPD as a Neptune/Poseidon/Ares thing as well, which, haha, comorbidity among personality disorders is common so why not, and it was fitting Mel's character as I was developing her, so double why not 🤷‍♂️).
But, lol, not to get off track, yeah, I think the idea of Jason using Coral to blow off some steam because she doesn't have the emotional capacity to be bothered by his neurotic tendencies blowing up at her is a good concept. And Percy stumbling into the middle of this with zero awareness because Coral didn't think to say anything about it the last time they talked, seeing Jason chasing his sister around with a whip of lightning, is so funny.
He'd be so confused for a hot second before jumping into action. And then Jason would be yelling at him that she broke a rule (a stupid, silly rule that makes no sense to most people), and now Percy's chasing him yelling about that's a dumb rule, and Coral agrees, which ofc, makes Jason even more upset, and now he's chasing both of them, and Hazel is in the background just fully, "ugh, if I knew being Pluto's child meant I had to deal with this shit, I would've stayed dead. Or asked you to train me yourself instead of sending me to Camp Jupiter" and Nico is nodding along, going, "This is why Dad doesn't talk to his family unless he has to"
It's how they bond as cousins 😂

i would love to hear about aro smajor actually 👀
AMAZING.
ok so the first thing i am always obligated to say is that i made a post about aro life series!smajor a bit ago that real life smajor found and told me, and i quote "this might be the most wrong take about any of [his] characters". this is the funniest thing that's ever happened to me and has only made me double down.
also it should be noted that i am on the aro spectrum, so some of my hcs about this are affected by my own experiences on this front. i am also ace, which is not true of my life series!scott headcannons (he is so very gay), so idk if that's gonna color my thoughts, but maybe keep it in mind?
so the thing is that, as scott said in that reply, all his characters are hopeless romantics. hence it takes life series!scott until around double life to figure out that he's aro, and hence flower husbands in third life. the thing about scott and flower husbands is that most of scott's care for jimmy comes around after jimmy dies. he's pre-grieving jimmy the entire series, he's making the widow's alliance, he is constantly a little bit exasperated with jimmy (even if it's fondly most of the time), he's telling grian "once we lose our husbands to the war, we can be free". he's kind of treating jimmy and his relationship with jimmy like it's a burden the entire time he has it. and i think that part of the reason he is so affected by jimmy's death when he didn't really show that he cared about him while he was alive (in this interpretation) is that a: he doesn't have to perform any romantic feelings for the guy anymore, he just has to feel the care he has for him and b: very quickly after jimmy dies, scott loses cleo too, his only other Real ally and friend on the server.
he looses both of the people he cares about in one fell swoop, but he directs the grief and anger he feels about both of them, at least outwardly, into anger about jimmy. he says he wants revenge because they killed his husband, because he feels like he SHOULD care about jimmy more than he cared about cleo, even though he doesn't, he cared for them equally.
and so then last life comes around. and scott has what he has with cleo and pearl. and he realizes "oh, ok, hold on, this is actually miles more fulfilling than what i had with jimmy." but the realization doesn't immediately go to "oh i'm aromantic", it starts as "well maybe i just wasn't compatible with jimmy". but then double life happens and he is not a fan of the soulmate concept, especially not when his soulmate is actively killing him so he runs off with cleo again, and even when he finds out that his soulmate is pearl, he has no interest in pursuing that relationship, even in a platonic way. and it's mostly because she was being reckless and not looking for him, but he talks about it with cleo and that's when the aromanticism properly clicks. and it just recontextualizes literally everything.
anyways scott and cleo's relationship throughout the life series is a qpp and mean gills are canonically a qpp. it's important to me that you know this.
(also scott obviously allos can have qpps but also. if you didn't want me to suggest your guy was a little aro at least. maybe you shouldn't have said that :3.)

one of the reasons i really like the concept of saiteru (bc it can get some bad rap) is simply bc i think they’d be able to bring out the best in each other
i feel like both of them would be able to wholeheartedly be themselves because and would fully know there would be no judgement from either side and they could trust each other
the fact that saiki has known teruhashi’s true self hidden beneath the perfect persona and still stuck with her the whole time is very telling and would be comforting to teruhashi bc she would know he wasn’t just there “for her looks” and because he loves and knows her true self and loves her for her.
likewise teruhashi was one of the first people to really see saiki for who he was breaking away from any of those fantasy saiki’s, the most notable mention being in the mixer karaoke episode where she comments on how saiki would just sit there in silence with a blank look on his face. No extravagants, no saiki falling for her, just him.
in addition to that there’s the scene where saiki watches her push herself past her limits trying to impress all the boys to the point where she faints constantly wishing she’d just stop and when she doesn’t, saiki puts himself in the center of attention to catch her. Then alternatively, teruhashi tells the boys she forgot her place in compliments, smth she’d originally never do, and ran out to go thank saiki, thus choosing saiki over her image which is super important to her.
and for saiki, knowing that teruhashi has had to hide parts of her personality for the sake of the perfection mask, it would be easier for saiki to shed his mask himself. And we’ve already seen through flashback scenes and just saiki’s own judgement that her and the rest of his friends would be completely accepting of him.
idk i just love them, i like to think they’d both be comforted knowing the other likes them for they’re true selves. plus the dynamic between the two is so funny. The way they’re both on equal playing field when it comes to little schemes btwn the both of them, and whether saiki will win or teruhashi is always up in the air. But working together they can pretty much pull off anything.
i just like them. sorry this was long i didn’t mean to go into a full length character relationship analysis lmfao. i know ppl are going to disagree w me on this and that’s totally fine and valid i just wanted to put my thoughts out there a bit lol

hii! i just finished reading the dark forest!! what a journey, i think it took me about a month to finish it lol. i wanted to share some thoughts !!
i found some of the concepts fascinating.. what stuck with me the most now i that i (try to) recall everything that happened, was the battle of darkness and the dark forest theory as a whole was brilliant. i imagine those people that were just- endlessly floating in the immensely vast universe and it made me think "oh wow how Sad and Hopeless that must've been" i too would've want to end it all, i believe that's a lot to endure.. that's one
another thing was the infamous wallfacer project. well that was new. and the fact that they had to plan everything on their own bc of the sophons, that's also kind of depressing lol. one thing i was confused was: why was luoji re-elected as a wallfacer at the end? i mean there wasn't anything more he could have done anyways?
da shi as always is such a great person😭 he never abandoned luoji during this long crazy journey, even after 200+ years. honestly i love his character a ton, i wanted to see what would happen to him at the end but there was nothing! will he be on Death's end? or his character just ends here? :((
i thought the whole thing with the "trees" as homes was pretty cool, though i couldn't really see it in my imagination haha i honestly can't imagine what would our society be like in, say, 300 years from now
i found it too simplistic(? that only when the trisolarans communicated with luoji did they stopped their plan to coming to earth, or maybe there's something i missed? or maybe it is really just that: communication solves everything? lol idk
and a deserved special mention to zhang beihai, respect!
i think that's everything i've got on my mind right now, but in general it was very interesting and depressing and dark.... what were some your favourite moments from the book? i can't wait to start death's end next !! but i'll start later, i have to fully process this book first hahaha anyways that's all, have a great day or night!!! :))
hello, friend! it's great reading this ask, and i'm glad you decided to share it with me. i have to say that i read the books years ago, so my memory on everything is not that fresh. and since i read the chinese version, i don't know some of the vocabularies they used in englishn. while i'll try my best to reply to this ask, i'm sure there's gotta be some novel fans here that could do better than me.
the dark forest is indeed very interesting and depressingly dark. i was definitely in awe when i heard the dark forest theory for the first time (before i read the books, and that was partly why i decided to read them). i also really like 水滴/waterdrop or droplet which is just something that looks simple but super super super powerful.
i enjoyed reading about the wallfacer project. even the three failed ones are equally fascinating and disturbing. i want to bow down to liu cixin's imagination...if i remember it correctly, luo ji is re-elected because his "咒语/spell or curse" actually came true. and at that time humans are really hopeless, so they just want to have someone that they believe can save/lead them.
da shi is everything. i lol need a da shi myself. unfortunately, he's not in the third book. my inner shiwang shipper feels that shi qiang and wang miao got similar style of exist from the story. and the common believe (i don't even remember if i read it in the novel or it was fan theory) is that shi qiang dies of natural causes at old age like wang miao. i kinda feel like maybe shi qiang and wang miao promised each other that they'd try to stay alive so that they can both be copernicus *sobs*...
ok...bear with my silly shallow shipper's talk for a moment, you know some people were like shiwang will be no more once season 2 of three body comes out, and everyone will start to ship shi qiang and luo ji, and it kinda bothered me a bit (ps. i know most people including myself didn't ship anything while reading the books, but man, these dramas are really forcing it on us lol). but i don't anymore, because i really think wang miao is special to shi qiang. besides shi qiang being a good and protective human being who will die for the greater good, i think one of the reasons that he stays with luo ji all this time is because luo ji reminds him of wang miao. even though it is only mentioned very breifly, i do believe liu cixin meant to tell us how important wang miao is to shi qiang... “我这辈子还只见着他一个”
as for luo ji stopping the trisolarans, i think he uses the dark forest theory, and his threat of exposing the location of the trisolaris (and in turn exposing earth's location) stops their plan.
and zhang beihai is an awesome, complex, and well loved tragic hero even though he isn't a very major character like luo ji. i remember yu hewei said in an interview that if he didn't play shi qiang, he'd probably like to play zhang beihai. i'm really curious who they'd pick to play zhang beihai in season 2.
anyways, thanks so much for the ask. you made me want to re-read the books, and i know i really should! have a nice day/night!

(Jdhxgsklgj Senpai is it okay to come scream about this in your inbox ?? You're literally the only other 1489 Dreamling connoisseur I know 👉👈) I just encountered the concept of Adelphopoiia, which originated in ancient Roman culture and went on through the Middles Ages until the XVIth century, and is a ceremony binding two men in a spiritual relationship that was recognised and performed by the church, and aspects of the ceremony were very similar to a wedding like a blessing at the altar of the 'couple', and a banquet afterwards in celebration ; and now I'm losing my mind over the possibility for 1489 Hob to be in a recognised relationship with his stranger ????? (However him and 1489 Dream might reach a point where that'd be a possibility, is a DETAIL)(also yes that would work for 1389 Dreamling and possibly even 1589 Dreamling but 1489 HOB MY UNDERAPPRECIATED BABYGIRL AM I RIGHT ?? 🥺🥺🥺)
Oh that's interesting!! I read up on it, and the only sad thing is, since it's basically meant to make people "blood brothers/sisters" in meaning (even if maybe it was a way for queer folk to get around the not being able to marry obstacle), Dream would NEVER agree to it at this point in time. He doesn't see Hob as his equal, and Hob would never dare suggest something like this so early into their relationship. So finding that point, that reason for them both to agree to this? I don't have an idea yet...
maybe a thing of necessity, because Hob gets into trouble, getting called out for having a male lover because he gets drunk and stumbles too close to Dream, and he just...blurts out "no no, this is my sworn brother!!" and Dream's eyebrows rise as high as his hairline but he refrains from you-dare-ing Hob for as long as they need to get out of there and then... is actually interested in what Hob was even referring to, which leads to him explaining the concept and... idk?
But I'll gladly thow this out to my mutuals who love historical things like this!
Thank you!
