I just wanted to tell everyone I know because I'm proud of myself <3 I'm gonna be a doctor one day I could fucking cry. Year 2 over, year 3 of 4 COMMENCES.

I'm also gonna be absolutely catatonic between the middle of January and probably like, the end of April? Because I'm going to be spending a long time doing shifts at the Children's Hospital on my paeds rotation, then I'm immediately dumped into Mums & Bubs for another month+. Apparently those rotations are completely brutal.

BUT, I will spend like 3 straight months doing research after that and the research block is apparently not too hard. So, if any of y'all have a burning desire to hang, we can do it then :D

i don't know a ton about my family history but the last couple times i've seen my family they've mentioned offhand the fact that my great grandpa was a communist and was passionate about preserving yiddish literature and that if he was still alive i'd have great conversations with him about the horrors of capitalism and could practice my yiddish with him. and it's so weird to be told you're similar to someone you only met once when you were like 6 years old and will never have the option of meeting again
