Pairing- Ronal x reader

Summary- After a battle with the sky people you ended up on the shore of the Metkayina people passed out, when awakened you did not expect what you found.

A/N- this was a request so all creds to the anon who came up with this they gave me so much stuff so I'll make this into like a 3 part series also pretend that her and Tonowari aren't together anymore also: Texpram Clan info

You were never supposed to be there on the shore of the Metkayina clan, passed out blood leaking from your leg close to bleeding out. But that is what happens when the sky people come.

You are from the Txepram clan you swore to protect your people to protect your home. And that is what you did your dragon, Serci, swiflty she hit her tail on the end of the boat rocking it making all aborad tumble some flipping into the ocean. You grabbed three flaming arrows and lined them all onto your bow, it was balck and red made from the rocks of Txepram, it is sacred made just for you. Pulling the sring back aming at three avatars and let go all peircing right through there heads. You did this as many times as you could, but you were not as lucky as you thought you did not notice the gunman that was shotting at you until he hit your leg, making you fall off of Serci. You swam as fast and far as you could watching as Serci looked for you frantically, setting the boat ablaze with her dragon fire, she let out a distressed screech and before you could call her your eyes felt droopy and soon you passed out.

You were passed out bleeding, drifting farther and farther in the sea, but it was as if Eywa had planned you were lifted from the sea and put onto of an ilu it wasn't long before you were lifted on shore by the someone who rescued you, still passed out he tried to see if you were bleeding and you were. ''Mother.'' The boy screamed out looking at the bullet wound. Soon a tall teal woman emerged an ran to her son. She reached down into the sand next to the injured and examined the bullet wound, ''There is no time to carry her to the hut, Aonung get Tsireya she knows everything I need.'' She explains to the boy who rushes to his sister.

She grabs an abandoned bottom cover on the groud stopping the bleeding, soon a darker blue man rushed to her his family not far behind. ''Ronal what is going on, who is that?'' Jake asked noticing the blood and the strange woman it came from, you had orange and red markings all over you none of which they have ever seen. ''She is of the Txepram Clan they musted of had a battle.'' She awnsered quickly as her daughter finally reached her with her tools. She grabbed a pair of tweezers and dug the bullet out the family around her cringed at the sight.

She soon stopped the bleeding stiching the woman up putting a galze over it and a leaf wrap around it to make sure it is not infected. After the much needed operation Ronal ordered the boys Aonung, Lo'ak, and Neteyam to lie you down in her hut for you to rest. ''So what is the Txepram Clan.'' Jake asked sharing the same look as his family confused. Neytiri heard of them but she doesn't know anything about them. ''Let us talk about it another time I must go make sure that she doesn't die.'' Roanl says making her way back to her hut.

And you healed completly, but you still did not wake. Ronal allowed you to rest there not having anywhere else to put you. But as days went on she noticed you would speak in your sleep nothing really caught her attention most of it was rubbish talk but something slipped through your lips and made her ears perk, ''Do not go to the land of the Metkayina clan.'' you said her transparent eyebrows furrowed, what does that mean, why can you not come here, so may questions ran throughout her mind but she let it go still somewhere in her mind your words were ingraved.

-Present day-

Aonung put the baby down as she fell asleep, he turned his head to you still asleep as you have been for almost a month. He averts his gaze from you and to a boy who had just walked into the pod. ''Hey bro Lo'ak and Kiri are fixing to head out Three brothers island wanna join.'' The boy asked, Aonung looks at you and then the baby both asleep, peaceful. What harm would leaving for 2-3 hours bring? He agreed smiling as him and the other ran to the ilus.

And it wasn't long until the baby woke up, and began to cry noticing it was alone. You face began to move, nose scrunching, ears moving up and down to the sounds of crying, your eyes open and you jump from the cot that you had been sleeping in. You looked around not knowing any of your surrondings. Cut from your thought was the baby. You walked over to it, it was a light baby blue, big blue eyes, nothing like the baby back home.

Meanwhile Ronal was at the beach picking plants that she needed, but then she heard her baby crying. She waited a minute expecting the crying to come to a halt but no. She took a deep breath and looked over where the ilus were supposed to be her sons was gone, she took a deep breath he was so dead when he got home. She rushed to her home and busted throgh the makshift curtians and safe to say she did not expect what she saw. She watched as you picked the baby up and lied her on your chest as you rubbed her back, humming what sounded like a Txepram lullaby. And soon the baby was asleep in your arms, she was astonished to say the least and then her eyes bright blue eyes made contact with yours and it was as if the stars aligned as if you could see right into her soul, you felt you chest tighten as her eyes made you feel small, but somehow you only wanted her to look at you like that more. You breath hitches As you finally connect why you feel this way and then dread seeps into you.

This can't you can't be in love with a Metkayina.

And she’s scared once she realizes what she’s done and they reunite with the family who scold her but being relieved as well but shes being uncharacteristically quiet and her parents and siblings worry? Maybe Neteyam tells them and reader says that this family was her fortress, and that sully’s stick together and that’s why she tearfully took a man’s life to keep her family together. And Jake and Neytiri are proud but also broken-hearted that their lil girl had to do what she did but that doesnt make them love her any less

Kongpob vs. Bbomb

This is a cruel, cruel choice. I love both of these boys so much and they have such similar stories and they work so well in their shows and I just love them so much. But I had to go with Kongpob in the end because, honestly, he had more room to pine because he's had so much more show to work with. But Bbomb is catching up quick with this last episode.

Mhok vs. Fiat

Fiat is just so good at pining. I just can't. Mhok got better in the special but he wasn't a good piner before that. He was much more toxic then Fiat ever was because Fiat was just going to hide away and never, ever talk about his feelings instead. So Fiat has to win. I love a piner who's willing to pine themselves away.

Kaeng vs. Mon

How do I choose?!? They're both so different at pining and so adorable and I love them both deeply in their own way. I think I have to go with Kaeng based on my four pillars of pining because he really does the best of filling them... sort of? They're both adorable, damnit.

Kurosawa vs. Na

Sorry, Na. Love you! But Kurosawa pretty much always wins. I cannot deny him anything. He always wins because he's the cutest and the softest and the most loving ever. So he wins without hesitation. Sorry! Love Na, though.

Third vs. Aey

This was hard but for the opposite reason of most of the others. Ugh. I went with Third because, I mean, pining? All the boy did was pine and cry in showers uselessly. Aey might have been pining but he was also too severely damaged to really pine in an enjoyable or healthy way.

Un vs. Chon

DAMN. This choice is interesting. I really do like Un's small and soft pining. But Chon. CHON. I love Chon so much and his tiny relationship trajectory and his adorableness. Plus, his pining is just fantastic.

Mark vs. Pok

Mark went more with pursuit than pining so I'm gonna give this to Pok. Pok gets to fuck Tong AND pine and it's absolutely fascinating honestly. I love him. Please let Gen Y season 2 exist sooner rather than later. I just want more of their mess!

Puth vs. Tue

... This is a rough choice because, honestly, I'm not sure how good either of their pining is. I went with Puth because he was pretty cute with Payu but it was still barely pining, honestly. And Tue is just... man, they were basically together in like 5 minutes y'all.

Kim Taehyung (Ryu's Wedding) vs. Sanha (Mr. Heart)

I gotta give it to Sanha. That boy's the happiest piner I've ever seen and he deserved all the joy in the world when he finally got his man. Taehyung was adorable and historical himbo beauty and he really was grand... but Sanha, yo, Sanha.

Pete (DBK) vs. Tann

Gotta give it to Tann. I gotta! He met him in university, never said anything and then managed to fall into him a second time. And got his adorable happy ending but with the perfect drama. Love a man who gets his man.

Sarawat vs. Cairo

I just don't like Sarawat that much. I also don't buy his pining. Sorry, y'all. Cairo was at least cute and I believed all of his emotions and all his feelings and his wants and needs and such. But Wat? Nope.

Mork vs. Fighter

No one loses to Mork. No one, ever, loses to Mork. It's impossible to lose a pining battle to a cardboard cutout. I would pick a character I didn't know over Mork. But I don't have to because I got Fighter! And I love Fighter! And Fighter's relationship with Tutor and his desperate pining and his need to get closer while still avoiding his feelings at all cost... I love him so much.

Haoting vs. YongJie

I am going with HaoTing despite my poor memory re: MODC because I remember adoring him and, frankly, YongJie made a better pursuer than piner because he was going to Get What He Wanted no matter what.

Mek vs. Wayo (2moons2)

I love Mek. I love Mek more than I should ever be allowed. Mek wins. Mek wins and I will miss him forever and ever and ever and ever and I love him. Sorry, Wayo. Also, Wayo, you're just a biiiit too much for my taste in the useless department. Sorry.

Forth vs. Thanu

Thanu can go to hell. At least Forth was cute and ended up happy. Thanu is just obnoxious.

Tri vs. Prab The Twins (Mab and Mob)

Ughhhhhh, do I have to chose? They both suck. The twins were the best piners in Brothers. So I declare them the winners instead! Sorry. Twins win!!!

Yu Hao (CTL) vs. Lichen

This one is close. But Lichen's soft and sad acceptance that he was just going to pine after Muren wins this for me. Yu Hao was adorable and wonderful, no denials. But Lichen's soft acceptance of his rejection? Was so good.

Shide vs. Nubsib

Another hard one! I wnet with ShiDe because his pining included a willingness to never have anything while Nubsib was like 'mine, this is going to be MINE and I will never give it up'. And I love pining that's willing to be unreciprocated.

Ae vs. Tew (SOTUS S)

I had to do Ae because, honestly, I don't remember Tew at all. SOTUS S is on my rewatch list for summer, okay? Promise! Also I love Ae and his feral demisexuality.

Kao (Oxygen) vs. Solo

I had to go with Kao. Kao's pining and pursuit are my favorite in the show. He learns to love bunnies! Come on! Solo was adorable and I love him and Gui deeply but Kao and Phu became my favorite.

Ming (2moons2) vs. Tum

Ming wins. Mings so hard it almost hurts. I love Ming, I love MingKit, I love boys who can melt a tsundere heart and I love a melted tsundere so much it almost hurts. Plus, Ming does a great job of pining and flirting.

Mes vs. In (UWMA)

In is not a piner. In is the opposite of a piner. In does not pine. In walks up to a guy everyone says is dangerous and asks him out on a date. Anyone wins over In because In doesn't pine. But Mes is also adorable.

Ram vs. Boss

This one is hard. I don't actually consider Boss to be a good piner. I feel like he missed the mark, especially in comparision to Mek. But Ram also isn't the most pining of characters. Though he definitely does better than Boss. So Ram it is!

Jedi (Close Friend) vs. Zon

I had to go with Jedi because Zon is more pursued than pining. He does do some, no denial. But Jedi is the best and adorable about his whole pining and every time he sees Ray he turns into a tiny incoherent creature of nothing but want and need. Love. LOVE>

Blue vs. Team (Y-Destiny)

I miss Blue. I wish we'd gotten a special for that couple as well as the SaifanZon special, honestly. Because they deserved so much better than COVID gave them. Also, Team

Pi vs. Tsuge

Tsuge wins. He was so adorable and useless. Just adorable. And his love of cats and delivery boys and awkwardness and the fact that, in the end, he learned how to communicate... I love him so much, okay?

Gotta go with Color Rush every time. Jack is adorable but Yeon Woo wins all pining wars. Ugh, the pining in that show. So good. Such a god show.

Nearly impossible choice. But I love and miss Shin, okay? He deserves this. He was so soft and so in love and so unsure and he deserved in in every way.

KENGKLA IS CANCELED FOREVER. Tin wins because he is both adorable and absolutely useless. I mean, breaking Can's phone just to get his phone number? SO GOOD. So stupid. I love it so much. Also, Kengkla can burn in hell.

This was hard. But I had to go with Wayu. I just... I had to give this to him, okay? He's cute and he's soft and he might be useless and their relationship was never that great but like... he's cute? And healthier than Mark. I dunno, I never loved Mark.

Imagine Zhin really needing to use the bathroom mid-battle, so he hides behind a rock or something and lets loose, but while he's in the middle of doing that, someone from the enemy team spots him (bonus points if it's someone like Koga) and he gets super embarrassed about being seen. Thankfully, whoever saw him feels enough empathy to not shoot at him while he's in that position, so they just leave him be.

im kinda want to get into this sort of thing so is it okay to ask u a few questions? if not just delete this, but here goes? would u reccomend game maker studio 2, and how hard is it to use in ur opinion? and is there anything u wish u knew at the beginning of making ur fangame?

aw anon you’re so sweet! don’t worry about asking about this, its really exciting to make games and trying new things! i would not say i’m an expert, and i wouldn’t even say i know gml like. at all. i just understand a how the code is used, but now what the code itself is or what to type exactly. like, i understand the theory more so than actually doing it. which is, eh, fine? i’m getting by, and i’m still learning. i’ve only been using gms 2 for 2 months now.

also, i’m using a fangame engine! i feel its kinda like cheating lmao, but its just meant to be a framework to build your own thing off of. and i still need to learn gms2 to use it, and i plan on doing more advanced and complicated things (ie: changing how battles even work structurally.) so. i’m not good at gsm2 yet, but uh, really once you understand coding its not any harder than i’d imagine w/ other professional game engines. compared to unity, i like this better because it seems built on the idea of making 2d sprite games. its SO much more simpler and the userface (while. i’m not a fan of how it has its workspace but whatever) is simple and easy to grasp.

i can’t say for certain if i recommend game maker. its very pricey and doesn’t go on sale often. (big sales i mean, it goes on 15% somewhat frequently) i really, really recommend doing your research first. 

so here i talk about what game engines i’ve used over the last year. (also i hear Godot is good!)

at the end of that post i said this: “TLDR; figure out what kind of game and story you want to tell/make. i could of saved a year’s worth of work if i just sat myself down and realized i wanted to make a completely new fangame separate from my old blog stuff. and that i wanted to make an rpg specifically.“

and so! past me has good advice. figure out the scope and what story do you want to tell. with AL, I know it has 2 chapters, and rn i’m only concentrating on chapter 1. chp 1 has 7 nights and one area where you fight enemies. its very story/character driven and is more so like. a deconstruction of the rpg genre than an actual rpg game. (i know that the word deconstruction is over used as hell, but it is what this is.)

it builds off the themes of the original, while focusing on things that i want to focus on and develop. ut, at it’s heart, is about stories and grief, i’m just taking it to a different extreme and angle.

uh, anyway, i really wish i knew what i wanted to make and understood the source material more and what i wanted to make. i’ve. thought really really hard over what UT means, what message toby was trying to convey, how he did it and what I thought about it. understanding what YOU want from and for your project is the most important thing. WHY do you want to make this? WHAT do you want people to feel and think about when playing? or even, after playing? it doesn’t have to be super deep either.

so, figure out what you what to make, and then you can work on the how. really plan your story, but honestly i wouldn’t recommend planning it in super big details right off. also, super helpful to have a friend help you brainstorm and plot check things for you. (shout out to my friend the sniffer

anyway, don’t plan things TOO detailed because things are GOING to change no matter how well you plan! just try to get get an outline done, then rewrite it 5 more times and then MAYBE you’ll be ready to tackle a more detailed version. then write it 5 more times. i can’t stress enough how important planning is, and how you shouldn’t expect everything to work out even on draft 10! things will work, and when they do, draft 10 is going to look like bad awful nonsense cause you’re at draft 20 now and everything is much more coherent and better. games aren’t written or consumed all at once on the fly. its not a piece of fanart, a fanfic, a comic. its not updated more than once. its out, and then its just out. plan for it.

and real quick, don’t worry about art assets! depending on how you do the art, that’s most likely going to change and its going to be polished LAST. i could go more into how you should think of art when game developing, but thats another topic. just. honestly use shitty art assets and worry about it later.

second advice: start SMALL!!! i feel i should of done this, and frankly i probably will have to sit down and do this lmao, basically, you should make boring small games to learn the basics. I know, i know, nobody really wants to recreate asteroid when you got big ideas of making stories and animations u wanna make. but like. you really need to figure out how the program works and how the code works in theory and practice.

ok so like, think of coding like this. i got this from a skillshare video series, so uh. i’m going to retell this but in a shittier and likely less nuanced way. sorry

ok so imagine. you’re telling this guy who is trying to get to Gary’s house. now, Gary’s house is just down the road, few houses down, now, you can tell this guy that and he’ll likely find the house just fine. but if you’re telling a robot it’s not going to understand what “down the road” means. what road? how long? it needs instructions that are simple and work in a language it understands.

so you tell the robot “go down two houses, stop at sign until x seconds pass, turn right, go forward 1 house, turn ect. stop at house, ring doorbell. IF Gary answers, go inside; ELSE: do not go inside, wait;

so this what i mean by understanding the theory behind the code rather than the code itself. yes there’s complexities and differences in each language, but they’re ALL based on the same concepts. different program languages are less like different speech languages, but rather different dialects of the same. (uh, like us english vs uk english) its just different rules and “spellings” of the same core concepts.

next advice: don’t be afraid to ask for help! but also! do so within reason! if people are OPEN for helping, be sure do so in the right environment and within what time works for them. compensate people for the time and effort if you can. ALWAYS try to figure out the solution yourself first. often with coding, it can be a simple solution that you could of thought of yourself if you took the initiative to. google is your friend, youtube is your friend! (ok, youtube isn’t, but in this case! yes!) the answer might not always be easy to find, and its perfectly fine to look for help but its good to at least try on your own first!

speaking of which! LEARN LEARN LEARN! be ready to devote A LOT of time to watching and reading about game development. this goes to every game making program, not just gms2. i watch. so many videos on gms. i rec having the video play at 1.5x or 2x speed to cut down time. obvs you still need to retain the information, so speed might be not a good idea then. and its REALLY GOOD to pause and type out the code and follow along. but its also good to just understand the concepts, and theres no harm in rewatching once you’ve understood it  better at a different speed.

things WILL click and work out for you, and its going to be a very time consuming and long journey to get there. i LOVE making this game and telling this story but I also had no idea what i was getting into! and i probably will have more advice once i’m further in, (i’ve only used gms 2 for 2 months!) but thats the best i can say for now! i hope you pursue your dreams and start making things!!! you can do it!!! 

the best time to start is yesterday, the second best time is right now! even if you put a little effort into it everyday, you’ll  build up progress and you can learn SO MUCH over time and theres this whole world of possibilities out there! the world NEEDS your story and your perspective, and i think creating it in anyway you can is necessary for humanity! your work will mean something to someone someday, and i am so excited for you to start your journey!

See now this ^^^ this is an example of fandom and their confirmation bias that lead to misinterpretation, bitterness, whining, and sending annoying anons to people who like the show and ship because they can’t bear that other people are enjoying something immensely that they simply don’t.

Because, here, this anon has decided that CL is being portrayed as a love story and Bellarke isn’t, and so they ignore everything that tells the bellarke love story and take scenes that aren’t about CL and turn them into a story that fits their own interpretation.

I suppose she’s talking about the scene with Clarke and Echo, when Madi tells her that Lxa said leaving her at the gates of MW was her biggest regret in life and that love is not a weakness.

This is not an ILU scene.

This is a scene that begins with Clarke and Echo talking about... Bellamy. And it is directly talking about Bellamy’s love (for Echo, never stated by him in canon btw,) and Echo being good for him. About how Bellamy was alive. About how Clarke cared for Bellamy and always cared for Bellamy. Then when we bring Lxa into it, she’s talking about Wanting to take back the way she left Clarke to die, that it was her biggest mistake, and love was not a weakness.

The reason WHY she says that, right there in that moment, is so that Clarke won’t make the same mistake as she did.

It’s Lxa saying, “Clarke, do not betray the person you love and leave them to die. Love is NOT a weakness. I was wrong. Do not do what I did.”

The person she is betraying is BELLAMY.

When L left Clarke, she betrayed the person she canon loved. She is comparing her love for Clarke with Clarke’s love for Bellamy. 

Clarke FINALLY got the apology from Lxa, and the admission that she was wrong to do it. This is called... say it with me...

CLOSURE.

Doing a quick google search for possibilities to look into (because my search results are more likely specialized for some of this weird nonsense): ‘Ilu having built his home in the desert (my brain says it was a mountain...but...eh...that could easily be any of the deities), some connections between Athirat and the desert (even though one of her names appears to be Athirat-of-the-Sea), discussion of Attar (not Attart, that’s the sister) being a desert deity (which doesn’t mesh with something I read about him maybe being an irrigation deity, but we’ve recently covered that I know Nothing I think I know so please look it up if you’d like to). Reshep has some connection to burning. I’m also seeing a lot of results popping up with the Sinai Desert, which might help your search.

For Googling: these deities have names written down with almost no vowel markers! Yay! The most common versions you can look up: Hadad, Baal Hadad, Baal, Haddi, Mot, Moth, Motu, Anat, Anatu, Antit (in Egypt), Athirat, Athiratu, Asherah, Attar, Attaru, Athtar, Reshep, Respu.

UPDATE: Upon reading the back of my newest book and going through it’s list of deities, apparently Reshep is known to be the chief deity of the underworld. Perhaps worthwhile to consider cthonic deities and ancestor worship? Rapiuma is a decent search term for that one.

31. Writer’s choice(anon, ilu, I’ve had this rattling around my head…. almost since I started playing the game, thanks for giving me an excuse to actually write it down)

Look before you leap.

It was a saying Jas had heard times beyond counting, a favorite of her father’s when she came home with scraped knees or a black eye from yet another reckless stunt. She tried to take it to heart, but that was easier said than done.

Especially when she saw a friend in peril. Sometimes there wasn’t time to look before you leapt.

“Linzi, move!!” She slammed shoulder-first into the bard. Linzi yelped as she went sprawling and Jas sincerely hoped she hadn’t hurt her fellow halfling. But bruises were better than arrows.

Arrows that hit Jas instead. The one that caught her shoulder wasn’t so bad; it mostly hit her pauldron and only grazed her. The one that pierced armor and flesh just below her ribs, however, that was a different story. The impact was harsh enough to jerk that side back before she could brace herself. Jas gritted her teeth against the pain and swung her mace around to point at the archer responsible as she barked out a prayer to Desna.

Flames arced from the head of her mace toward the target, but Jas didn’t get to see if her spell struck true. Another arrow, from an archer none of them had seen, sank into her chest–deeper than it should’ve with her armor. It was enough to stagger her, take her to her knees as she dimly heard shouts of alarm from her companions.

Linzi and Octavia frantically yelling her name.

Amiri bellowing curses as she charged the bandits.

Tristian’s voice rising in prayer, barely audible under the chaos of battle and somehow still the most comforting.

Jas tried to focus on that, to anchor herself to consciousness, but the metallic taste of blood in her mouth was too strong. She couldn’t focus on anything beyond a hazy, Well that’s not good…

The cacophony of battle around her faded and she couldn’t tell if that was because it was ending or she was passing out. Maybe both. Her vision was all grey and fuzzy around the edges, gradually fading. Her other senses went with it; and she was only faintly aware of the gentle hand on her shoulder and a softly murmured, “Jasiri…” before everything went dark.

She woke up with her hand wrapped so tight around her holy symbol the butterfly wings had left ridges in her palm. She didn’t remember grabbing that. She was also on her back, sheltered by a rocky overhang, with a gentle rain falling just a few feet away. She could see the dimpled the raindrops pocked in the mud from where she lay.

“The others went to check for any stragglers,” a soft voice said when she started to shift. “They should be back soon.”

Jas blinked and–slowly, clumsily–sat up. “Tristian…”

Her armor was gone. So too were the arrows that had pierced it. Running one hand up her chest revealed no bumps that spoke of bandages. That was a good sign.

“The third arrow broke a rib,” Tristian said, answering a question she hadn’t asked. “I was concerned there might be… lingering damage, so I offered to stay with you until you woke. To be sure.”

“Ah.” Jas tested the range of motion for the formerly injured shoulder, then gingerly twisted back and forth at the waist. There was some soreness, which was to be expected even with magical healing, but nothing hurt or twinged more than it should. “Everything seems okay. Thank you.” She smiled brightly, which earned a shy one in return.

“You are most welcome,” he murmured. “I’m glad you’re alright, Jasiri.”

She shot him a knowing look. There was clearly more he wanted to add to that sentence. “But…?” she prompted.

Tristian shifted position, turning so he more fully faced her, and his eyes brimmed with poorly-hidden emotion as he asked, “What were you thinking?”

He was worried about me. The thought warmed her; it was nice having friends who cared instead of traveling on her own. Jas wrinkled her nose sheepishly, her gaze dropping to Tristian’s hands as she replied, “That Linzi’s armor wouldn’t be much good at stopping arrows. I was just tryin’ to get her out of the way.” She traced a random pattern in the dirt with one finger. “Didn’t figure on the Stag Lord’s men havin’ arrows that could pierce armor.”

Tristian’s hands stilled, long, slender fingers loosely wrapped around his holy symbol, and he gave a soft, knowing chuckle. “You say that as if you would have done otherwise were you aware of the risk.”

She laughed. “Fair point. I care about my friends.”

He drew his knees halfway up toward his chest and let his forearms rest atop them. “And we care about you as well. It’s… frightening when you do things like that.”

Jas grinned to cover her suddenly racing heart. “Scared you’ll lose me? I’m pretty tough, but if you’re… if you all are gonna worry about me, I can try to be more careful. Emphasis on try.”

Tristian’s smile felt like a blessing from Sarenrae. “I think I speak for everyone  to say even the attempt would be appreciated.”

“I’ll do that, then,” she promised as they settled in to wait for the others to get back. (Sure, looking before she leapt had never been her strong suit, but maybe she just hadn’t been properly motivated before.)

Prior is a Darling, and like, the First DND character that I've really dedicated time to???

She’s catkin, which is a little cat homebrew race created Before Tabaxi was released. I’ve based her off of The Cat Returns cats, so she’s like three feet tall and ready to brawl. She’s a mom!! has five kids and actually started her adventuring because her two youngest (twins!!) were stolen and the police weren’t able to help her. She’s a merchant originally, so she couldnt search much on her own??? She went to a god (Elliri, god of chance in @tiefighter​‘s homebrew world, Haven) and asks for help to find her kids. So now she’s a warlock and totally bad ass. She’s gotten her kids back (yayy!!) and now she’s adventuring with the group to uhh, basically restore the balance between the new gods and old gods??? I’m not entirely sure ‘cause I keep forgetting to take notes when we get into story

Prior’s the team mom and unfortunately I don’t think fast enough for her to Mom everyone All the time, but she definitely gets some mom time in. She’s friends with like, Every single kid we come across bc she’s three feet tall and Kid Height and they love it. She also is proficient in intimidation so she Yells a lot in battle (free action my dudes) and it makes me happy haha! ahhh, she has an odd connection to Amber?? Cade (the bestest dm) hasn’t fully explored that with us yet, but I am Jazzed to figure out what it means. Her dice are sparkling amber as a reference to that.

I think my favorite goofy thing that happens when I roll dice for her is when we’re asked to roll perception and she always fails-- UNLESS she’s standing up high, then she succeeds. Every single perception check this happens. It’s hilarious.

Uhm uhm, she’s aro I think??? and her kids are from different litters. She’s like the Cool mom that dresses up sometimes and you’re like, “oh, I understand now why you’ve had multiple partners, you’re a BABE” and she’s also raised all her kids by herself. And her youngest, the twins, Iah and Jada, look!! identical except Iah’s face splotch is a moon. Iah has innate magic that’s just waiting to be unlocked. one day, I’d love to do a campaign with Iah as my PC because he’s a Gift that I’m sitting on like dragon on top a hoard. 

I wanted her name, and her family’s naming scheme, to be based on Puritan naming schemes because I thought it was so interesting??? and I think her name is just,,, so Perfect.
