any thoughts abt self aware akatsuki? they seem to be very devoted to their goals and the ones they cherish, while also being especially dangerous at times so im curious as to how you can basically approach the super yandere side of them n all, they seem like some real awesome guys ngl.

Starting this off by saying that I haven´t read too many stories featuring Akatsuki so some of my ramblings may be a bit out of character! I hope you still enjoy this though!

Self-aware Yandere! Akatsuki

I think I mentioned it before in an ask that talked about sticking to Kuro and Souma before but you´d definitely be kept safe from any physical harm if you stuck around Akatsuki. Souma has his sword that he wouldn´t hesitate to use on anyone that threatened you, Kuro who is trained in martial arts and had a delinquent phase, and even Keito was the former captain of the archery club.

They´re all very protective of you and while Keito is more-so the type that wards off the other characters with his words and frequent scoldings, he would be willing to use his bow to eliminate a target if he felt like it was the only option.

Keito is usually pretty strict, even with his fellow members in Akatsuki, so it´s even more noticeable when he gets soft around you. It��s like he´s a completely different person and even though he would occasionally scold you when you got into trouble or were hanging around other idols too much, there would be no bite in his words.

He tries to keep his infatuation hidden from you so he mostly acts on his own urges by instead drawing or writing out the scenarios that he wishes he could enact with you in real life. His stories just happen to be romances where the two main characters strongly resemble both of you. There he can let his thoughts run wild and he can imagine holding you close or kissing you as much as he likes. He wouldn´t admit to doing this, especially not to you, but soon Keito gets commissioned by other idols to draw the same kind of scenarios for them.

He doesn´t like doing it, no doubt about it

Kuro is very caring towards you and doesn´t want you to be scared of him because of his outer appearance. He loves sewing new clothes for you and he also loves seeing you wear them because it´s almost like you´re wearing a part of him. He spends so many hours sewing these outfits too, he´s not sparing any efforts. Also, his little sister probably knows of you from how often Kuro talks about you at home and has more than once asked if you two were dating or when you would finally get married.

Kuro is a very protective yandere, wanting you to be safe at all times, which is why he would stick around you a lot. It´s the best way to make sure nothing happens to you, right? Honestly just having someone strong looking like Kuro standing next to you is probably enough to keep most strangers from ever approaching you. He´s usually not fond of how different his appearance is from his true character, but he feels like in this case it´s very beneficial. For the most part, he doesn´t need to lift a finger to keep you safe.

Of course, that doesn´t work with the other idols that know what Kuro really is like, they´re still going to want to talk to you. So it´s only in these moments where Kuro would actively shield you from “harm” by standing right between the both of you and telling the other person to leave. He doesn´t really want to get violent in front of you, so he holds himself back if he can help it. He´s more likely to “visit” the person later and throw a few punches there where you can´t see what he´s doing.

Souma is probably the one most likely and prepared to commit violence in your honor. He comes from a proud samurai family and so he holds ideas like honor in very high regard. He always carries around a sword and he´s determined to use it to protect the people that he thinks are worth protecting. Naturally, you are one of these people. He looks up to you for all you have done for Akatsuki and him specifically while you were still playing the game and possessing Anzu. You always knew exactly what to say and do to make sure things move along well and Souma greatly admires you for that. It´s no surprise that he puts you on a bit of a pedestal. In his eyes, you can do no wrong and so anyone that opposes you is automatically wrong. His old-fashioned ideals don´t really help him with this black-and-white thinking either.

Souma is also very emotionally driven which only further urges him to protect you from any perceived harm. He´s another one that wants to be around you at all times to make sure that you´re safe. He can´t bear the thought of anything happening to you, the kindest and most gracious person to ever exist. Anyone that disagrees must simply meet the end of his blade.

Different from Keito for example, Souma wouldn´t try to hide the fact that he´s pretty obsessed with you. He´s honest to a fault and thus likes to proclaim how important you are to him and how he would do absolutely anything if you asked him to.

The serious tone in his voice tells you that he isn´t joking around.

I’m amazed (and in love) with how u still hold onto dottore’s apathetic trait. Ik it’s obvious but I see a lot of people brushing it off, I personally dislike it..

Honestly, I hate it when people brush off the fact that yes, he's an apathetic bastard. That's the whole point of his character, the risk of science without morals. And I like theorizing about it, because psychology is interesting and I'm a psychology nut.

I got you on the emotions bit. I kind of went over these in some of my previous answers to your asks, but it's time to deep dive, as it's my favorite thing to do other than write stupid fanfiction and read my books.

Here's the thing: Dottore is hard to characterize at times because I really can't relate to apathy, so it's a lot of speculation. He's just as crazy as they get, and I just have to let go of my own moral standpoints when thinking in his general perspective. No morals, just arson and destruction.

Dottore is a man of few emotions in general. And that's why he's so confused when Babytorre invokes some of these strange feelings within him. He's a wild card with how he feels, and honestly seems a bit scattered in terms of how his emotions present themselves. His anger is manifested in the destruction of the things he's worked so hard to create, his satisfaction is shown through lack of work on these projects, instead used as time to go bother others or take a moment to sit down and consider the outcomes.

But for things such as grief and love, he doesn't understand them. It's not that he doesn't feel them, he just can't recognize them when they happen. The first time he feels anything close to either, he thinks he's sick, as physical sensations equivalent to actual love are foreign to him. He's so detached from feeling them that he can't even tell what they are anymore, and that's where the whole "apathy" portion really strikes hard.

He just lacks the understanding and conceptualization of these feelings, which makes him detached from his victims. He does it because he believes in furthering his research, but also because he can't relate to the feelings that stem from having unpleasant experiences. He detached those feelings long ago, and now he can't exactly recover them easily, as he doesn't know them anymore.

Within childhood, there's a crucial stage of psychological development that's called "preconceptual morality". Basically, it's the idea that most of a child's actions are typically egocentric, or surrounding their own self interest. Dottore is the perfect example of a lack of development past this stage. He does only what benefits him. The definition of preconceptual morality also spreads to adults "under extreme pressure". So Dottore's own responsibilities ambitions and self imposed expectations may be a root cause of this, or simply his own lack of moral exemplifications.

He's quite literally a psychopath. I could throw all my above analysis away by just saying that his brain doesn't comprehend emotions, and his violent tendencies have stemmed from that in their own right.

But loneliness is an interesting emotion, as Dottore is unfamiliar with feeling lonely. He's always been a man that works alone, that much is clear. And by feeling lonely... It's not an emotion he's ever really felt or recognized as an actual ability.

From a psychological standpoint, we develop our ideas of emotions through our guardians/caretakers. They teach us what we're feeling and how to deal with that. Part of me wonders if Dottore just wasn't told no or that manifesting his feelings in such unproductive ways was bad. Either he has parent issues, or he just completely lacks the emotional awareness that most people have.

And yes, Pantalone in particular outed him about how he doesn't understand feelings, and that he's heartless. Basically chewed him out for being inconsiderate, especially towards Pantalone himself.

And let's just say that Dottore reacted poorly. I like to think that he doesn't yell, but he definitely has a warning tone, the "I'm dangerous and I could mutilate you if I pleased" type of tone. Pantalone is one of the few people below him that isn't terrified of it. Dottore wouldn't be visibly shaken, he's too good at keeping his physical displays of emotion in check.

But internally, I would think that Dottore wouldn't feel much of anything at all. In fact, he might even agree. But depending on the situation, it would also make the tiniest crack in his chest, for all the unpleasant feelings to leak out. He definitely knows what it's like to feel defeat and anger, along with frustration and jealousy. He lacks the counter balance for them. He would likely feel his own form of frustration, especially because Pantalone dares speak to him like that, much less after everything the Doctor has done for him. How dare he go against Dottore, they were on the same side.

Arguably, I think Pantalone's opinion is the only one Dottore would respect, every once in a blue moon. Only because he's the only Harbinger that doesn't actively pursue murder and instead plays the game of manipulation. And when two manipulative bastards are honest with each other for once... It doesn't end well.

So there's my brainrot for that. Hopefully it makes sense, I wrote this in the middle of the night with only two braincells skipping in circles to the "it's corn" meme.

Dottore is just a mess of a man, there's no explaining it. I cannot with his thought process, it just jumps around like a possessed Easter bunny.

Meanwhile Pantalone is just enough of a bastard to be coherent, there's a reason why I live their dynamic. Scattered and composed, the perfect complementary personalities.

tell us abt ur ocs king!

oh you wanna know about the Lads huh... alright i gotchu. ill probably put this under a cut but we'll go over the main few i have right now-- but rest assured, i have a lot of others floating around in the background that don't get the amount of attention these folks get. also this ended up taking a hot minute because i was writing A's section and took like an hour on two massive paragraphs SO im shortening this by a lot. if people want to hear more i might make another post abt these folks in more rambling detail. let's get down to it.

A is the oldest oc ive got. i got very distracted writing abt his backstory, but a tldr is that he's one of the four siblings that created the universe. he's what humans would recognize as the first demon, and as of the current moment is what, again, we would recognize as the devil. he's not supposed to be that. his brother, B, is supposed to be that-- before he fucked off seemingly out of existence and left the bullshit of death and the underworld for his severely underprepared and unwilling brother, the only one even remotely powerful enough to take on a frankly ridiculous amount of responsibility. A fucking despises B for this. the siblings never got along well in the first place, but the animosity A holds for B is on another level-- especially now that his brother has come back from wherever the hell he fucked off to.

A himself is a blatant enigma on the surface of the earth: standing at 8'7, with opalescent hair, neon colored eyes embedded in his dark skinned muscular build, and a viciously bright white smile made of bestial massive fangs and gilded with a black scar tissue glasgow grin, just to give you an idea of how eerie he is to see in your local supermarket. not only does he look something unholy, but his personality is something unique as well-- an outer layer of laid back nonchalance and lazy alcoholism hiding the fact that A is, indeed, a god; one well versed in violence and savage power dynamics who's seen more planets and years feasible to any mortal mind. he may spend most of his days dicking around with his thirty plus dogs on a sprawling and isolated east coast estate, teasing his son and thinking on memories of his former wife while being just as personally neglegent of his otherworldly tasks as his brother once was (though at the very least A has a system set up in the underworld), but he knows of his own brutal strength, unreasonable power, and sharp mind in ways only his siblings ever got close to knowing.

tldr: A is a god living on earth with his son and thirty dogs, who's power is only tempered by his penchant for drinking and the sheer amusement he finds in living as a normal person despite being anything but.

jason lily timaeus is A's nineteen year old adopted human son. there isn't much to be said for his backstory, as A raised him as nothing but human-- with a human upbringing, human education, and human life for as long as he could manage. despite jason's indesputable human nature, jason is gifted in a way beyond human, with the ability to manipulate shadows as near tangible objects. there's a little more intricacy to how jason's power exactly works, but he's quite skilled with his ability nonetheless, able to use it to do light vigilantism and less light acts of rebellion. whether or not he was born with his powers or they were a side effect of being raised by a god, no one really knows, nor does jason himself care to know.

jason is a wild dude. 6'2, with a constant rotation of dyed hair and a bright big smile that squints his eyes shut almost every time he does smile. he's half black, with dark skin, freckles, brown eyes, and usually black nails. he's got a pretty lean build-- nowhere near as STACKED as his pops, but more than muscular enough to do some pretty impressive feats of strength and, more often, acrobatics. he's very punk in his aesthetic: worn black leather jacket, plenty of patches, and usually some ratty pants and his beloved steel toed boots with some occasional variety. like his father, he's also got some sharp teeth-- not exactly like the hell maw A has, but he's got the classic sharp anime fangs. both he and A are trans men ftr. jason is gay and A is uhhhhh bi? probably? who knows. jason was also originally a bnha oc gjekcndkfk

tldr: jason is 6'2 and ready to kick your ass at any given moment in time with his short temper and confidence in his own abilities. has shadow manipulation abilities, gets into arguments with his dad a lot, and works at a local coffee shop when he's not running around doing dumb and well meaning shit with his power.

uhhh the next one we'll talk about is the Local Good Boy, Saint Miles! saint miles is a black scottish sweetheart with a gentle soul and even gentler smile. despite his very sweet and very, very giving nature, saint has had a deeply traumatic past: gifted with an ability that mimics the powers of literal angels, his mother started a cult surrounding her son's angelic abilities-- most notably his near perfect healing power which was used constantly as a sort of proof of his miracle nature. his mother, olivia, also shared the angelic power, but saw them both as literal angels rather than just humans gifted with unnatural talents. her abuse and the cult's impact on saint's life came to a head when, in a desperate attempt to get saint to accept and acknowledge what he was, she went full Be Not Afraid angel and decided to try and destroy the small town they lived near in a show of deranged and desperate power. saint, probably about ten to eleven years old, panicked and essentially blew up both his mother and the town in a desperate attempt to make her stop. after this, saint was given back to his father, and raised on his father's sheep ranch.

saint is a big sweetheart and a bit of a pushover because of his I Will Help Anyone Who Asks Of Me mindset. soft spoken and pretty gentle overall despite his 6'10 stature and absolute fucking beefed build, with very soft eyes that tend to be a little lidded as if perpetually sleepy and a grin that seems just as sleepy. green eyes, almost strawberry blonde wavy hair, with brown skin and a notable lack of scars or other blemishes as well. he always stands a little hunched over w/ his shoulders slumped as to seem less tall and more approachable. despite his warm and kind personality, saint is skilled at keeping emotional distance with people, and doesn't often use his abilities besides in worst case scenarios or if someone needs some healing. another couple of notes: saint is terrified of anything that gives off any classically unholy/demonic/Bad Vibes (not due to his ability but more so to what his mother engrained on him), and he vastly prefers being called by his last name rather than his first. usually dresses in t shirts and sweatpants.

tldr: saint miles is a gentle giant with a lot of trauma, a LOT of power, a put others before yourself mindset, and has accidentally broken a lot of hearts in his reluctance to get close to anyone emotionally. token cis oc. the best boy.

okay. second to last oc is akira saito, who's uhh. probably one of my more popular ocs if i can even say i have popular ocs gjwkfnekjfd. ANYWAYS, akira is our token problematic pretty boy! hes the young inherited ceo of his father's company-- which isn't to say akira got his place of extreme wealth and power for no reason, as akira had already worked himself up to a position of high power because of his incredible intellect and, to a lesser known extent, his extreme cunning and ruthless ambition. after all, akira got his ceo position after killing his father in the hospital! his mother died of natural causes, though neither of them were much of a loss to akira, who was neglected by his mother and used for cybernetic experimentations by his father/the board of the family company. akira has deeply intricate weaponry and cybernetic enhancements all throughout his body (limbs specifically), but because of their extreme prototype state, they are just as painful as they are powerful. not that it stops him from using them. akira is the oldest of three siblings-- himself, middle sibling strawberry, and youngest brother chase, neither of which he's particularly close with though they are all still in contact.

akira's has two goals in life tied to one another: to become immortal, and a step beyond that-- to become god. he's deeply, horribly, existentially terrified of death and dying and the loss of control, and will do anything to keep himself on top of everything he's capable of being in control of. as per the character type, akira doesn't appear this way, instead coming across to most people as a superficially ditzy, well meaning but a little dumb, kind and giving to the world with his massive wealth. he's a master manipulator, world class actor, and absolutely fucking cruel and heartless when it comes down to it. the classic bastard pretty boy.

akira is 5'10, half black and half japanese, with flawless skin and the brightest blue eyes you've ever seen. honestly, akira's just pretty. really pretty. always with makeup. little fangs -- subtler than jason's but still there nonetheless --, a few piercings (jason and A also have piercings i just forgot to mention them), and his hair is tastefully black at the roots and white/platinum bleached everywhere else. he also has these thing blue/silver glowing lines on his arms and to his fingertips, where they split open and reveal the weaponry in that horrible mess of gore and blood. his outfits are always meticulous, beautiful, and high end, and usually feature a fluffy pink jacket. everything about akira is curated.

tldr: akira saito is the oldest sibling of his absolutely disastrous and ugly family, a control freak to some ungodly degree, and is as dangerous as he is beautiful. a tiger. a beautiful, dangerous, smart, and horrible tiger. the problematic pretty boy!

OKAY! last man! while the four ive mentioned so far can all feasibly be in the same verse, this last one is a fate fanservant who technically came into existence a few years ago and has lately been honed into a more fleshed out and proper fate oc. sorry for being fate on main but i genuinely love this oc in of his own right.

the OC in question is the beast wolf of nordic mythos, fenrir. berserker class servant (though he's a beast in some verses). fenrir is, of course, from Norse mythology, most notable for the story of his binding and for his role in ragnorok: the devourer of the gods and the world, enacting his own fury and revenge on those who imprisoned him and left him to rot. i won't retell the whole ass fenrir myth (look up the binding of fenrir on thenorsegods.com for a really beautiful interpretation of his story), but rest assured, fenrir is fucking pissed. he hates the gods, he doesn't particularly care for humanity, and he wishes nothing more than to devour the world in an attempt to satiate his endless hunger and endless rage. above all of this, however, fenrir hates tyr-- the god of war who's hand he snapped off in rage to his and the gods' betrayal. fenrir and tyr were friends, they grew up together as tyr was the only god who wasn't afraid of him. (in fate they were gay and there's nothing you can do about it.) tyr betrayed him, with the rest of the gods, and fenrir will never forgive him for that.

fenrir is 7'2, muscular and with scars all over his dark skin. he's got orange eyes with slit pupils, dark brown hair with a scruffy beard, and of course yellowed, sharp, wolfish fangs. in his more common human form as a servant, (though rest assured he can be a fuck all big wolf if he so chooses, it's just a matter of mana) he dresses in ragged and worn leather armor, with chipped and slightly rusted plate mail interwoven with the otherwise all leather armor, thick, baggy pants, and worn leather boots. all of it is in poor condition. on top of the nordic armor, he also wears a black wolf pelt, with the head and jaw over his own head and the rest of the pelt draped over his shoulders and back. however! under this! a surprise!!! fenrir has black wolf ears! ragged and grimy and torn at the tip of one. he also has a tail. of course. and maybe he's got peets alongside his absolutely vicious claws. his most obvious scars are along his wrists, ankles, throat, and one on the bottom of his jaw-- where he was either bound by glepnir or stabbed through to the ground through the mouth.

he's not a, uh, particularly friendly individual. he's pretty standoffish and hostile when you first meet him and usually past that as well, preferring to be alone and getting aggressive and violent at any slight signs of provocation he might interpret-- and even if someone's not being hostile towards him, more often than not, he'll just... try and run them off with aggressive and short words. despite all that, it's not impossible to befriend him, and if you were to befriend him, you'd find yourself with a very protective wolf man at your side at all times. he has a massive soft spot for kids (due to the nature of his psuedo servant host), as well as anyone with canine traits or anyone who can cook food. he eats a lot and he's still always hungry. i actually have a ton of voice lines written for him gjskfnknf i love fenrir a lot and he's so much fun as a fanservant... one day ill figure out tyr as well...

ANYWAYS THIS IS INSANELY LONG IM SO SORRY but these are my main ocs as of the moment! i love fenrir lots because im always in a fate state of mind, but the other four are distinctly non fandom and also the ocs that have stuck around the most out of all of my messy pile of half developed ocs. ask me more questions if you have them but im also so sorry for rambling so much about all these folks. i have a few drawings of all of them, but maybe ill do some more... hmm...

excuse me while i dive into excessive detail abt my garden :')

so. so. we moved here smth like 9 years ago, at which point the previous owners had a chicken coop and wooden deck taking up most of the backyard. (side note: i'm almost certain there wasn't adequate space for the chickens)

credit goes to my mom for a lot of the major renovation into what it is now. the wooden deck was rotting and becoming increasingly dangerous, so with my brothers helping they all tore down the entire deck. it took a lot of time to physically stabilize and level the yard enough for it to be at least semi-functional after that, but we eventually ended up with a section of paver stones and a wide area of open soil

so much trial and error during these stages that im not going into bc im writing a blog post, not a novella, but suffice to say my current success was not easily or quickly won. i think the major turning point was when i did a "lasagna"/sheet mulch on the would-be garden area to enrich the soil, bc that was rly the first, big mark i made on the area

from there, it's grown finally into two planting beds made of those concrete blocks with 2 big holes cut out, which is important bc i wanted to and now have planted a ton in these "planting pockets" as i call them. they're marvelously appropriate for microgreens and also to keep track of small bulbs i want to see bloom but can't decide where to place permanently, lmao

in the last, idk, maybe 2 years ive rly leaned into it hard. now i have prolific blackberries, and i'm cutting down all the blackberries along the side yard after this season so the marionberry can replace it - natives > invasives, after all. (not that i can stop the blackberries from growing - they're all over the place, incl a lot of other ppl's property and sneaking over)

at the same time, my blueberry trio will have thoroughly established and my red raspberry should be doing great, considering how many berries we got off it this year, the year we bought it. goji berries are growing but slowly, so i'm not expecting much, but the gooseberry is taking off again. so wild, i love it. and the prickly pear cactus suffered root rot and i almost lost it, but i believe ive successfully rooted the topmost segment. it'll take time but i should eventually be able to try the cactus fruit. years tho.

also all my strawberry groundcover layers are doing rly well, and i get the occasional strawberry off them, tho they're mostly for evaporation control. it's still a challenge to grow a lot of veggies bc it's just not hot enough for them here, but im still doing rly good overall

oh, and my lemon tree is doing outrageously well... this year it's putting out leaves longer and wider than my hand. that's new. and the baby lemon tree i grew from seed from the first-ever harvested lemon from the original tree is putting out So Fucking Much new growth, i'm thrilled

my various planting areas are doing super well, too. rly beginning to fill them in. i have pink jasmine trellising by the front door and it's getting so full; two kinds of lilac along the front path; newly, a pretty and fragrant pink-blooming weigela shrub. three canna lillies (which aren't actual lillies, which i refuse to grow anywhere bc they're immensely toxic to cats) all with different flowers, and for the first time i found some seeds before they had developed their rly hard outer shell, so i'm trying to grow some more from seed. exciting!

im quite confident that the front long & skinny & hella shallow planter will have its usual forest of arugula, endive, and sage - but will hopefully also have miners lettuce. oh and the mum that somehow became a giant shrub in a tiny pot set in said long planter. ive had to brace it multiple times, it's sheer size is unreal

and im discovering that hellebores in our area remain evergreen thru summer after they're 2nd-3rd established year. just the leaves ofc, but it's still rly cool, i'm so proud of them. and i finally have some outdoor ferns that have stabilized and come back multiple times!

so feighrun is the central city of this invasion, but certainly not the only one affected. some of the hunger’s agents are getting a head-start on world domination, and unless someone wants to pay bus fare for the seven birds, the outer towns are on their own.

the berg is a…tech city, i suppose would be the word. ever since they got trapped, though, the humanitarian-minded Poer’s 24 has been at the head of efforts to understand and break through the attacking forces. by studying the heroes in city and taking samples of their powers’ detritus, P24 gained a rudimentary understanding of how the powers work – and decided to create their own heroes.

with help from the prodigal nadiya jones, a serum was created and administered to twelve members of P24. not much is changing with their powers or backstories, but i will say that irene’s dose was synthesized more closely with samples of the ‘god’-given powers, generating a new proto-god that shares her body.

i can’t not mention my boy remmy even though not much is changing with him here, so here’s your obligatory reminder that remmy is a good good jump boy and i love him so much.

in the town of dry river, though, a much sneakier division of the hunger is taking control. the town had been torn between two feuding families for generations, but nothing causes unity like a war of the worlds. before they can officially declare peace, panic strikes – dylan mathis is arrested for collaborating with the hunger in an attempt on jeremiah blackwell’s life

(attempt. no sad or dead gays in my household.)

the grayson detectives are called in to help by abigail, and urged on by the strangely insistent anne and jeremiah. the trio is errol, who was cursed by the banshee as soon as the invasion began and is now part wolf; gandy, who made a pact with the higher power “uncle oni” and has unpredictable magic abilities; and augustus, a rude old man that oni cursed to come back as a ghost partially for penance, partially to piss off the raven queen, and partially bc he thought it would be funny.

unlike berg, the gods are pretty active in dry river. uncle oni is more-or-less the patron of the trio, and can be defined as a sort of trickster god. he is similar to garfield in that he uses his leverage to fuck with people, but only grants gifts to gandy – she seems to be the most wild and ambitious in the town, and along with finding her amusing, he thinks she can help him out the most too. the raven queen is present through her emissary michael, who is tasked with keeping oni/gandy in check. limdafel and amdefal, complementary gods of order and chaos, are present and active through both sheriff connors and the banshee – dry river’s own complementary forces of order through chaos, and chaos through order.

aaah ive been so busy we havent exchanged asks and i apologize but: whats your wake up routine if you have one? when were you at the beach last? do you have any scars with a fun/interesting/willing-to-share story behind it? have a fashion icon that you'd love to dress like daily if you could?

its ok!! its tough to do anything when you’ve got a lot going on all the time. i like getting asks and they’re a gift but i don’t ever Expect them

i dont think ive had much of a morning routine since middle school…in elementary school i’d get up, read for half an hour, then rush through putting on clothes and having breakfast. in middle school i rolled out of bed eventually and had a piece of toast while watching fresh prince or angel or something else they had on at 6a. after that there was no real routine…i’m a wake up pass back out sort of wild card

last time i went to the beach was a little over a year ago? luckily it was almost 70 and sunny out. before that the last time i’d been was the previous winter solstice. pretty dark but not as cold as it could’ve been. before that i think it’d been a few years since i saw the ocean.

i don’t think i’ve ever given myself any really permanent scars, i’ve mostly avoided any significant injury. once i had a sort of funny scar, in that it looked like a perfect pause sign, it was like two geometrically proper rectangles exactly parallel to each other. for a little bit there i’d have some moments of self harming in superficial ways, thats where that came from. one of the only areas i was creative abt anything lol, thats where that geometry injury came about from. a fun fact about any scars i get in general though? i guess i have a high pain threshold and i’m also fairly forgetful / distractable, so i have a tendency to notice scars and bruises and ive already forgotten where they came from. a lot of times i dont notice in the first place, its not that uncommon for me to not even notice im bleeding. rip

i dont have a fashion icon coz honestly! first of all i dont know anybody but mostly, my internal sense of fashion varies all the time, even day to day. its internal because in reality im just jeans and tees. which is fine, my fashion sense i think is always generally on the casual and fun side. but do i like all really bright clothes, do i like more muted colors with a few brighter accents, who knows? its hard to say what my ideal fashion would play out as in practice, coz ive never really had the chance to build up a wardrobe of clothes i really like. and in the meantime my Theoretical tastes tend to go all over the place. hey that reminds me a couple nights ago i had a dream abt a makeup artist who put highlighter on the outer rim of the ears? and used mascara instead of highlighter. hmm

bubble bath: do you have any routines before bedtime? like skin care, etc. what are they? yea i usually shower before bed + wash my face. i have a couple of topical acne treatments that i use and then i moisturize w either shea moisture anti-aging moisturizer (mostly cos thats the only shea moisture product they had at walgreens lol) or aveeno sensitive skin moisturizer dependin on how dry my skin's feelin :-)
