The look on Daryl's face in the bottom gif was me as well when this episode aired. I stopped watching The Walking Dead because they teased us with Daryl and Beth possibly being a thing and then they rip her away the very next season. FUCK THAT I have not watched the series with any regularity since and no nothing of the spin off shows. I just know that Beth was so good for Daryl she brought him out of his shell on an emotional level like Carol did but in a very different way.

Angel / Cordelia Chase Angel: The Series (series 1999 - 2004), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (series 1997 - 2003; only from seasons 1-4 for both characters, then guest appearances)

THIS scene right here is what sold me completely on Angel and Cordelia as a ship'. The way he calls out her name and the way she looks so helpless...and things just went from there. You think about the evolution of these characters individually and together and they came a very long way with each other. No one in a million years would have thought Angel and Cordelia from Buffy the Vampire Slayer would ever be a romantic couple on another series, but they did, and it was just as meaningful and great as Angel's relationship with Buffy.

Things ended so sad and strangely for both characters individually and together. They never got a happy ending, from my understanding in the comics they barely have interactions any longer. Like if they tried to get together at this point it wouldn't work because they're not the same as they were back when they wanted to be together, make sense?

Achilles / Briseis Troy (2004 film)

I'm a sucker for period pieces and this one is one of the greatest. Brad Pitt's portrayal of Achilles in Troy was the first time I noticed his acting skills. Not only was his performance alone phenomenal but the relationship he had with Briseis...its my precious as a trope I fucking love it so fucking much. Going into the movie I knew Achilles wouldn't survive, but I like to think in an alternate universe Achilles and Briseis lived happily ever after with an enormous family.

Joseph Dredd / Cassandra Anderson Dredd (2012 film)

LOVED this movie it's probably one of my favorites of all time. But I really loved the relationship between Dredd and Anderson, purely professional but immense respect for each other. Dredd is tough, cuts no corners, he didn't even want to take her out on patrol with him. But by the end he let her get away with a fail offense simply because she took charge at the end and took point and he recognized how valuable that attitude was.

Excellent movie, watch it if you haven't yet.

Hector / Andromache Troy (2004 film)

I loved these two more in fanfiction than I truly did in canon. Not to say I didn't love the dynamic and chemistry between them during the movie. They played well off one another, especially Saffron Burrows as Andromache. The emotion she portrays, the way she's so connected with Hector, makes his death scene much more tragic.

p.s. if you haven't ever read a Hector/Andromache romance on fanfiction.net, Archive of Our Own or even here on Tumblr most likely you're really missing out. Stories of their beginning betrothal and marriage are so well done!

Dracula 2000 was some of the freshest vampire material out there at the time. Dracula turns out to be Judas Iscariot, betrayer of Christ and Mary is the daughter of Abraham Van Helsing, the man sworn to keep Dracula from ever roaming the Earth again. I loved the dynamic because of how they were connected through his blood. That kind of thing has always fascinated me.

Oh my God where do I start with these two...you will never convince me Dean didn't have a legit, mature, affectionate, grown-up love for Donna Hanscum. I believe Dean thought she was way too good for him and that's why he contented himself with the relationship he had with her. In season 14 when he visited her, had lunch, you can't tell me he went out of his way for that. He could have just as easily came into town to see his mother and never bothered to see Donna, but he did. He loved her, because she was genuine, not a fake woman and he realized he felt comfortable with that. At least that's how I see it.

Them with those fucking donuts oh my God it cracks me up every time. It was like Dean found his soulmate in that moment he realized.

Vicky Nelson / Henry Fitzroy Blood Ties (Series 2007)

I thought this gif embodied their relationship well. Always seemed like Henry was adoring Vicky but she was never paying attention to see him admiring.

The other aspect of their relationship was the sexual tension. Think for me it was more the vampire thing than necessarily chemistry, but I believe there was chemistry considering how well she played Vicky so well as a rigid person.

I think Vicky admired Henry in a certain way, but she couldn't help but feel drawn to him at the same time and it vexed her to some degree.

Where I lived this air on Lifetime, and it had 2 seasons, and the series was cancelled or just not brought back on a huge cliffhanger at the end of season 2.

Shame we never get to see them make amends between them.

Beth Dutton / Rip Wheeler Yellowstone (series 2018 - )

Of everyone on Yellowstone I love these two the most. Their dynamic, their chemistry, they literally feel like they walk in everyday on set and just act themselves with each other their chemistry is that natural, like an old married couple before they were married.

I hope we get the back half of season 5, but at this point it wouldn't surprise me if they end the show with what they have and start fresh with another series (possibly whatever project Matthew McConaughey signed up for?) I've read somewhere that Rip and Beth would definitely be on the other show so they're safe, for now at least.

I am not trying to rehash the debate about this movie, merely expressing and pointing out a relationship in the movie I liked a lot. I'm a vampire freak so of course the idea of being turned sounds joyous, but this showed the ugly side and I loved how he was with her. As a standalone film, not connected to the Anne Rice novels it's a really good movie.

When Lucifer first aired on FOX I was enamored and couldn't wait to see the new episode every week, the entire time it was on the FOX network. But then FOX cancelled it and it moved to Netflix where I feel it dimmed in story quality. While Lucifer and Chloe's relationship blossomed once on Netflix I loved and felt that UST so much more and deeply. Don't get me wrong I still loved their relationship all around but I just couldn't get around the crappy writing of the last season.

But goddamn the chemistry between these two...have mercy!

Tris Prior / Tobias "Four" Eaton Divergent (2014 film), Insurgent (2015 film), Allegiant (2016 film)

There first time meeting in Divergent.

Time during Insurgent.

And the final installment of Allegiant, which was not my favorite at all, I never watch it, or Insurgent. Divergent is the only film I actually like and it's my favorite time of Tris and Four's relationship. I loved how they interacted during the entire film it was natural to me.

I did not watch these films when they first came out. I watched years after they had come out and people had forgot about them. But ever since I have I love at least the first film of the trilogy and I don't care what the books have to offer really.

John Constantine / Angela Dodson Constantine (2005 film)

I really hope Rachel Weisz comes back for the sequel with Keanu Reeves (but something tells me she won't be). Regardless I loved the first one and their dynamic. It's not obvious tension but more of 'oh, there you are, what about that' kind of feel I don't know how else to explain it.

They were a little taken with one another but neither acted on it and that actually fit better to the story the way it was going.

But like I said, maybe I'll get lucky and see something more in the sequel.
