how do i love when it leaves me the next day? i wish to hold onto what was never mine. a fleeting memory. i submit in the face of time. ever changing in my perception. somewhere, some how i have found peace in the awe and chaos of it all. but in this moment, i crave the everlasting comfort of sinking into the void. cowering in the face of reality, whatever reality has become to me now. like a baby in a mother’s arms. a moment in time constantly slipping through my fingers. soothed, loved and safe.
