Nuclea is amazed at the amount of Mews there are in the modern age. Though it doesn't quite understand that half of them are clones. Even if it did know, they'd be close enough for them to count in its eyes.

Just wanted to draw Nuclea seeing a bunch of other felines. Basically grabbed a few of my favorite Mew/Mewtwo characters that I've seen around on my dash.

You can tell I'm simultaneously not used to drawing Mewtwos (as in I've barely drawn them before now), and that I was starting to get very worn out near the end. Heck, I even had a few instances where I sketched on the reference layer and lined on the sketch layer.

On this day of fools, you find yourself wandering not the familiar trails of the Glimwood Tangle, but the arid dunes of Paldea’s Asado Desert. As you crest a particularly high dune, you spot a flash of white in the distance.

Curious, you approach. As you get closer, the flash of white from before slowly reveals itself as three Pokémon. The larger two have the little one’s paws in their own, and are swinging the tiny fluffball up and down gently. The little one squeals in delight, a flash of pink waving as the bow on their tail swings.

Suddenly, the larger Pokémon notice your presence. They stare at you intensely, as though determining if you’re a threat. The little one doesn’t seen to even notice they’ve stopped swinging.

[Matcha(?) and Inari(?) are open for questions.]

The pink creature joins Inari next to the glass tube.

They can’t hear us. I’ve tried communicating with them so many times, but… there’s only silence.

I wish I knew how to get them out safely! I’m such a failure… I’ve watched two of my children succumb to the awful tests that HUMAN has designed… and I haven’t been able to save any of them!! What kind of parent am I!?!?

The mysterious Pokemon seems quite distraught. Perhaps you should leave them be… or maybe you have a solution to their dilemma?

Cheese puffs out her cheeks. "Yeah, and lots of humans came by and said lots of nice things about her and called her pretty and sparkly! But they didn't care about any of the rest of us."

"I'm just glad we got away. But I don't like to think about it. Being shiny isn't bad because I think I'm bad; it's because humans thought I was special, but not any of my siblings. And that's really really mean."

Fuse takes a moment to get resituated on her rock before continuing. "Yes, she was human. But that's no reason to hate her. She's young, and even then, the fact that she's a Phantump at all proves that she belongs here. She got lost and died because of parental neglect. Humans were cruel to her, just the same as all of us." The Magcargo huffs, gaze dark. "I imagine that's the...unfortunate truth for most Phantumps, honestly. It's terrible."

She shakes herself off. She gives a faint laugh. "But that's not really my story to tell. It doesn't matter if a Pokemon was human before or not. It's not who they are as people, it's......what they can do to us as humans that bothers me. If they aren't human anymore, the danger is gone."
