I've been queueing reblogs more, and honestly, it improves my interaction with the site so much.

Like, for one, it helped me be more proactive in actually engaging with, and following blogs. Now, if I like a post, I WILL follow the original blog, and then queue it up.

Also, when my queue is getting long, I increase how many it posts in a day, and do my best to constantly keep ahead of the queue, to make sure it can't run out.

In turn, I'm engaging with the site more, instead of just scrolling, and I prefer that so much more!

Also, it should be said, if you see me like a post of yours, but not reblog it. That doesn't mean I didn't want to engage with it, it is likely added to the queue now! So that it can get more love in a couple of days time!!

A weapon borne of an ancient tree in the depths of the Feywild, who's abnormally strong leaves were forged in fire to form a hilt around a long spire of brassy metal. The gem at the hilt glints with a warmth that threatens to burn if provoked.

I'm just gonna start dumping the stockpile of these I have so far, I've really loved drawing weaponry and items. It honestly took me by surprise how much I've loved it, and how much I just wanna keep drawing cool stuff.

Also wanna give a thank you (I hope you don't mind me tagging you!) to @regal-bones both because the backdrops I'm doing for these are definitely somewhat inspired by what you have and I'd feel bad for not at least crediting you for such, but also for absolutely inspiring me to try making art like this with your swordtember entries. I found you while scrolling through the tag and it just immediately caught my eye with your stunning intricate linework and the beautiful lil animations you have with every piece you make. You do some absolutely stunning work and I wouldn't have even tried making any of these without the inspiration of your art.

While Nagomi talked to herself, she took note of her surroundings. There were paintings on the walls, of landscapes, forest scenes, snowy cabins, lakes, a child's bedroom, and a large one of a person. There was something familiar and inhuman about the person. They had white curly hair, and a tan and youthful complexion. The figure sat at a desk underneath an arch, with grapevines winding around the pillars. Despite the desert dunes in the background, plants grew in abundance around the person. Someone had taken tape and a marker and labeled some of them: Acanthus, Lemon-Scented Geranium, Calla Lily, Bird's-Foot Trefoil, and Snapdragon. So, someone else was here, then? Or had they since disappeared as easily as she had appeared? The thoughts could barely stay in Nagomi's brain long enough to be completed before her attention was drawn back to the painting. The figure was dressed in white and draped in a purple cloth. A deck of tarot cards laid on the desk in front of them, with three cards lying face-up: the Chariot, the Tower, and Judgement. But their face, oh, their face. There was something not quite right about it. The purple eyes felt disproportionate to the rest of the face, but when Nagomi looked at the whole picture again they returned to normal. The person's closed-mouth grin felt malicious. It almost looked hungry, Nagomi thought, but quickly shook the thought with a shake of the head. No. It's a painting. But it was much harder to shake the vertigo and overwhelming dread she felt when looking at its face. She looked in its eyes to prove herself wrong, to prove that it was a normal painting, but she swore the eyes looked back, and the face started to warp, and the smile grew wider and wider and its eyes larger and larger until it was a swirl of eyes and teeth. Did the painting always have five eyes? Ten? Fifteen? Did it always have teeth dripping with saliva? Had that mouth always been there? Tears pricked at Nagomi's eyes, and she realized she had been staring too long. She blinked quickly a couple of times, too scared to close her eyes for long around the painting. Her eyes darted towards the door, then back to the painting. It was back to normal now. Their finger had always been in front of their grin in a shushing motion, right? Right? Nagomi walked towards the door backwards, refusing to take her eyes off the painting and refusing to look it in the face again. The door flung open easier than she thought it would, and she quickly stepped out and slammed it behind her.

Today my coworker tried to rescue a preying mantis (it had landed on another coworker) and it bit him (none of us knew they could do that) and kept trying to fight him but he still just gently chased it into the grass and then picked it up on a clipboard and put it on a tree branch. All while this bug is trying to end this man’s life. And all of my other coworkers said they would have killed it. But he was just so kind and gentle and understanding to this little creature and let me tell you it was the hottest goddamn thing I have seen in a good long while. We need more compassionate men.
