1. your favorite movie?

to name only a few: 10 Things I Hate About You, Pacific Rim, The Little Mermaid, Tangled, and Clueless.

2. five fave songs of all time?

I Found by Amber Run, High Hopes by Kodaline, Give Me Love by Ed Sheeran, Picture by Sheryl Crow and Kid Rock, My Wish by Rascal Flatts. (Actually probably everything by Rascal Flatts.)

3. what do you think is you best personality trait?

I’m gonna go with a tie for friendly and a good listener. 

4. do you have tattoos and if so do they have any meaning?

No I don’t. I’m not to big on needles, but I have thought of getting a small or minimalist one somewhere I can easily cover. It would either be in honor of my grandparents or to show my love of all things disney.

dogs and certain cats

6. favorite marvel movie?

oh why did you do this to me Britt? This is hard! umm probably Captain America the Winter Soldier and Black Panther because I can’t pick just one.

7. favorite comfort food?

any form of chicken noodle soup. chicken and dumplins, chicken orzo, chicken and rice, ect.

8. most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done?

um do you want me to make a list? uh recently its been that thing where i’ve seen someone waving (or smiling) and waved (or smiled) back only to realize they were waving (smiling) to the person behind me. Talked too loudly about weird medical pathologies with my classmates in public/bars/restaurants and gotten some weird looks. and lastly not a thing i’ve done but a thing that happened to me: got pooped on by a seagull on the boardwalk 2 years ago.

Last movie I saw: uhh... Aquaman? From when I went to the movies like three weeks ago? Grad school has put a big halt on my TV watching. 

Favorite musicians: The Struts, the Arctic Monkeys, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, and I’m getting really into a band called the Brevet that opened a concert I went to last weekend

Song stuck in my head: Well, now it’s the song Legs by the Brevet because I was thinking about them, but before that it was... whatever the last country song Sean’s phone was playing before it turned off

Could you do a drabble about the lab techs, Alex and Chelsea (that's their names right?), secretly dating and them discussing how they think Kirsten and Cameron and doing the same thing?

Oh yes this is a great one! Thank you. This was fun to write & I hope I did Alex and Chelsea justice!

“Do you think Cameron and Kirsten are dating?” Chelsea asked. She and Alex were standing at the Corpse Cassette pretending to calibrate and tinker with the machine when they were really just spending time with each other (or Alex was pretending to work on the Corpse Cassette, Chelsea was watching the duo in question talk in the conference room). Relationships in the lab wasn’t something that was strictly forbidden, but they weren’t encouraged either, so Chelsea and Alex had decided to keep their budding romance as quite as possible, which Chelsea would admit wasn’t ideal, but it did add a little extra excitement to moments like this.

“Chels, just because we’re in a secret relationship doesn’t mean everyone in the lab is,” Alex sighed, flicking through data on his tablet.

“I’m not talking about everyone, I’m talking about Cameron and Kirsten,” Chelsea looked at him. “But just to be clear, Linus and Camille are dating too.”

“They’re not dating,” Alex sighed. “They are a something though.” Their ‘whatever you wanted to call it’ was the second worst kept secret in the lab (the first being Cameron being head-over-heels in love with Kirsten).

“Well I want to know if you think Cameron and Kirsten are a something,” Chelsea saw Maggie looking at them rom her office so she pushed a button on the machine to switch displays.

Both she and Alex were silent for a few moments, pretending to work until Maggie looked away. They didn’t have a sample or a case, so while Maggie shouldn’t mind if the two slacked off a bit, but neither wanted to give their boss any reason to be upset with them.

“Okay, fine, I don’t think they’re dating,” Alex muttered, looking at his girlfriend, “Not yet anyway. I don’t think they’d be able to hide it very well so I’m pretty sure we’d know within a week or so after it happened.”

“When do you think it’ll happen?” she asked, picking up her tablet and walking over to the Life Sci station.

“I’ve got my money on middle of next month,” Alex followed her over to her station.

Chelsea smiled as she sat down at her desk, “If you say so.”

“No, I’m serious. I’ve got forty bucks riding on them getting together by then.” Alex leaned against the desk, folding his arms.

“Really? There’s a pool going? Who’s running that?” Chelsea looked surprised.

“Tim’s running one and I think Camille’s got another one going,” Alex shrugged. “I’ve got twenty dollars in each.”

“Do you think it’s too late for me to get in on those?” Chelsea asked after a moment’s pause.

“No, no, I think you’re still good,” Alex smiled at her, “But just to warn you: I’ve got a good feeling about winning this bet.”

(Several months later, Chelsea ended up winning both pools, but she took Alex out to a nice dinner with her winnings, so he didn’t mind)
