All LGBTQIA+ Sing Characters Headcanons

Out of all 63 canon characters that we actually get to know a bit about, I headcanon 55 of them are LGBTQIA+. Why? One, why not, two, they told me themselves, and three... this is legitimately a franchise about theatre kids, of course majority are gonna be fruity.

Hobbs Atene - Omnisexual (He/Him)

- happily married to his spouse with three kids

- was the first person Eddie ever came out to as a kid

- came out to her bio family as a teenager which went horribly

- has coached several others in the troupe through identity crises

Mike Bianchi - Biromantic (He/Him)

- so deep in the closet that he’s in Narnia at this point

- legit thinks everyone is like this she is wrong)

Nancy Bianchi - Graysexual (She/Her)

- didn’t really understand her own identity until she started doing research in case her future kid/s came out

- also legit thought everyone is like this (she was also wrong)

Clay Calloway - Bisexual Trans Masc (He/They)

- one of the first public LGBTQ+ rockstars

- has gotten into fights protecting queer fans from protestors

Ruby Calloway - Pansexual Trans Woman (She/Her)

- she and Clay are the og T4T couple in this series

- worked as a marketing agent almost exclusively with young queer artists

Jimmy Crystal - Bisexual (He/Him)

- tied with Mike for the character with the most internalized homophobia

“boohoo, why isn’t LauraxMax more popular than LauraxTravis, Laura and Max are canon after all-”

Max is fucking boring. He exists to be bitten to kickstart the game’s events and propel Laura’s story forward, and then remains unhelpful and moping for the majority of the rest of his screentime, which is only about 20 minutes in total of a 10+ hour game.

you get to play as him for literally a minute and a half, where he can be instantly killed off or just stands on a dock and waits...and that’s the end of his story. you can only get an ending where he and Laura reunite that involves Ryan dying for literally no reason and Laura murdering Travis, when he hasn’t shown her any aggression and was trying to deescalate everything happening in chapter 9. and that also leaves the curse still intact and potentially several counselors infected and doomed with no knowledge how to cure themselves and no one left to actively try and hunt Silas to free them all. such a great, happy ending... 

also, if you want content for a ship, nothing is stopping you from making your own or commissioning someone else to do it for you. that sounds like a You problem if you’re not finding enough content for the “canon couple” that you think should be more recognized and is so much more interesting in your eyes...

Day 20 (30 Days | Homestuck - Day 6) - Exiles/Consorts (PM (as Parcel Mistress))

=Thoughts=

I had intended to something perspective-wise like the past few pieces (Jake excluded), but it seems that I wasn't able to quite imagine how that would look. It's hard to reduce the awe this particular scene displays, though.

I went for something pretty simple in the end: A stalwart Parcel Mistress, eyeing the next steps of this treacherous and deadly fetch quest, all in the name of maintaining civility. I didn't really want to draw much of the background, but the small piece of the battlefield at the bottom was just plain necessary; this was a big moment for her.

Clothes are not something I tend to do much with, so a lot of this is very much just looking at references shots of her and duplicating the outfit. It's funny just how many parallel lines are involved in the fit. It's funnier again that the skirt(?) portion just seems to flat-out change when it's torn up.

There's not really much else to say about the piece, aside from smoke being really annoying to draw.

im gonna be honest azula in particular ive mentioned a couple times in the tams outline that she's definitely got Something going on and it's v much the same canonically imo. like at the very least she's low-empathy but i definitely lean towards neurodivergent hcs with her and i think tams in particular highlights that (you'll understand later but to summarise briefly without spoilers we get a real recurring thing with azula of her treading on toes/hurting feelings without meaning to and getting very confused and not understanding social cues. it's written in her pov as her just not being used to being around so many people/people who aren't zuko when she's a low-empathy person anyway, but it can definitely be interpreted as autism). zuko also leans into this if you want him to but it's definitely azula i've focused it on

THIS IS YOUR FAULT FOR MAKING ME THINK ABOUT TRANSFORMERS AGAIN its one of my favourite franchises bc there are really NOT MANY characters who i am neutral on or dont like. ive singled out dozens of tf characters over the years to be the fave for a bit and rotated them in my brain for a few months, its actually easier to list the characters that i dont like than the ones i do. i do have some favs but theres stil like. 10 that i couldnt choose between. probably soundwave, sunstreaker, ratchet, vortex, deathsaurs, tracks, steeljaw (rid), spinister (idw), perceptor, fort max, skywarp, thATS MORE THAN 10 ALREADY BUT U GET IT

i actually have 5-6 a4 notebooks just FULL of transformers drawings, little comics of g1 episodes and character designs and stuff, its all from a few years ago before i started digital art but i should really redraw some of it bc ill never get tired of transformers.

and actually, i was wondering what to draw today so MAYBE some transformers stuff. i loved g1 for how absolutely insane it was, ive never seen a show with so many lines said like jokes that were just. not jokes and usually made GENUINELY no sense. not sure i ever laughed at a joke in that show but i do remember being in literal tears over animation errors, wild lines, weird noises, and plotlines that make no sense whatsoever. do not watch g1 with hopes of getting it, but i do watch it to laugh at the show itself

#there ARE characters i dont like but then its USUALLY mostly fandom interpretation #like i love g1 starscream but did not like secretly super selfless super smart super 'sassy' way hes sometimes portrayed in fandom #in my opinion you need to let him be genuinely a little dumb he cant win every argument i didnt like windblade comics starscream that much #him being secretly a super good leader for all of cybertron kind of contradicts nearly every piece of canon on him and it felt kinda ooc #i can see why a lot of ppl liked it bc it was very in line with hard done to fanon starscream and if thats what you enjoy then massive w #i have nothing against that but considering canon starscream it felt very ooc to me but i also wasnt invested enough in the storyline #-at the time for it to annoy me or anything #i also didnt really like rodimus or first aid but i just think first aid is a lil boring #and i just didnt like how the narrative framed rodimus in mtmte he was objectively kind of a bad leader and he DIDNT really improve #but i dont think any of this ruined the atory for me and thats pretty much it for negative controversial tf opionions #p much every other character i like or REALLY like #i blow up soundwave in my mind in every single franchise i love him #tfa bee was my first favorite transformer tho bc like AS AN UNDIAGNOSED EXTREMLEY ADHD KID I WAS LIKE 'MOOD' #i loved prime but i legit refused to accept anything bad happened to breakdown he was one of my faves #and i think i will redraw some of my older tf comics now #man i had a bunch of prime designs for different characters like jazz and sunny and sides i might revamp #ask #hi sorry ik u asked but this was so much SDRFGHDSH

#ikoku nikki #using the jp title bc iirc theres two english titles and idk which one's the right one: journal with witch or different country diaries #it's a slice of life coming of age story of a teen girl living with her aunt with two completely opposing personalities #the scanlation team really outdid themselves esp the translator #the dialogue feels natural it legit feels like overhearing actual irl convo most of the times #the aunt is only said to be introverted but tbh she's heavily ND coded #theres a genderqueer and aro side characters and their identities are just treated super casually (in a good way) #the bestie being a lesbian was kinda awkward but only when the protag discovered it bc. well. shes a teen kid lol #''i support you'' that gave me a good chuckle every single time #honestly just everyone in this comic in general. their existence and personhood‚ whatever it is‚ never made a big deal out of #(again: in a good way) #like everyone just exist. living their own separate lives. and sometimes their livings conflict with each other but thats just life #it's heartwarming and heartwrenching #it's made me nostalgic of my own teenagehood and looking forward of my 30s and older #it's just life. and i mean it. cant get any more slice of life than this #anyway yeah please do yourself a favour and go read it #now why the fuck did i write all this in the tags instead of the post #ah fuck i now have to screenshot it dont i
