Oooooh, that's a hard one. I don't write super angsty endings, bc everyone deserves a happy ending, dangit, but the one fic that does foot the bill is Ghost Star, Are You Very Far? This is a fic centered around Kata Akuna and her love for stories. Sounds cute, yeah, but BROOOO there's some angst in there, I promise.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

The happiest ending? That's a hard one as well. The one I love the most is Tequila. Very cracky, and very fun to write.

Ummmmm, my ability to keep characters in character when I write crack??? Idk, dude, I just put stuff on a page and people like it enough XD

I definitely don't describe things as well as I want to. I often feel like I'm jumping from point to point in my writing without connecting it on paper. It all connects in my head, but it comes out clunky on paper.

Killer Klowns

Summary: going to the drive in with Gareth to see killer klowns from outer space.

A/N: this part of the little mini series i created, its about going to the movies/ drive in with Gareth to watch different movies cause my boy loves movies, he is lots of things but one thing he definitely is a movie fanatic! Words cannot describe how much I love this movie, it’s in my top 5, I know lots of people shit on this movie but I can’t help but just love it! If you haven’t watched this movie yet, I 100% recommend it, it’s supposed to be a horror movie but it’s more silly and fun than anything, so if you don’t like horror movies, that’s completely okay, this movie should be okay for you to watch! 🍿also shorty is my favorite character so I had to make it Y/n’s favorite character, sorry not sorry. Also can we talk about the game coming out next year- SO FREAKING EXCITED!!!!

This was nice. Me and Gareth never get nights like this anymore. With Corroded Coffin slowly starting to become a hit and spending most nights on the road, we never have us time. I don't even remember the last time me and Gareth went out somewhere nice together, alone. So this is nice to get away from the other guys for a bit.

We decided on going to the drive in, i favorite date night spot of ours. He had picked the movie, Killer Klowns from Outer space. It released almost a week ago and hasn't been getting the best rating, but me and Gareth will be the judge of that. I mean, its about clowns, it's gotta be scary. Which is right up me and Gareth's ally. It just started as the title card was ending.

"im jojo the ice cream clown, with the best ice cream in town! We give you the stick, you give it a lick, A tasty treat for while you screw!" the ice cream man said in the movie.

"Well that's mature"

"where's the dang ticket booth?"

"oh fuck no" Gareth said, next to me chewing on some popcorn.

A shadow of what i assumed was a clown appeared from in the circus tent in the movie.

"did he just take his dog?"

"i think so Gare"

"Where's my dog? Where's my pooh bare? I'll tear this thing apart with my bare hands!" the old man said before placing his hands on the circus tent which ended up with him getting shocks through his body. Right afterwards a clown appeared on the scream, a colorful funny looking gun pointing towards the old man.

"Babe...i thought this was supposed to be a horror movie.." i said, this isn't very scary for it to be counted as a horror movie.

"we are only 9 minutes in, maybe as it goes on it will get scary, maybe it's just one of those slow burn horror movies"

"No body stores cotton candy like this"

"What are you talking about, of course it is, look-"

The man pulls off a piece of cotton candy off just to be faced with a dead corpse.

"cotton candy cocoons with dead bodies in them....what in the actual fuck-" Gareth said with a giggle, he stopped laughing though when a clown with red hair and a purple and blue outfit on popped up on the screen.

"wait- Gareth, are you afraid of clowns?" i said, a big smile on my face.

"what? no-"

"oh my god, yes you are, how am i just now finding out about this? And you were the one to pick this movie"

"just shut up and keep watching"

"why are these people opening the door so easily? if i saw that at my front door i would shut that door quicker than the speed of light" Gareth said before taking a big gulp of his drink.

It was a little dumb,if you saw a clown with pizza boxes, not knowing whats inside them, late at night, you would act all cool about? Fuck no.

But i will say the small little clown with the green hair is pretty adorable.

The small little clown rides a little colorful looking bike, riding towards a group of hardcore bikers.

"mean bike you got there, can i take a ride pal?" the biker asked, the small clown answered no in whatever clown language he was speaking.

"can i beep the horn?" this time the clown answered yes, only for the asshole to take his small colorful bike and slam it on the ground, breaking the bike.

"that was just rude" i said

"what you feel bad for the clown?" Gareth asked

"actually yes i do, he is actually very adorable"

"what are you gonna do? knock my block off?" the biker asked, that is when the small clown, now wearing boxing gloves, punched him right in the face, his head falling right off his body.

"that's what you get prick" i said, Gareth slowly turned his head towards me

"you are unbelivable sometimes you know that?"

"no way the shadow of his hands just ate those poor people" i said "that was a dumb death, right Gareth" i said, he did respond " gareth?"

i looked over to see him clutching onto himself, he looked....scared.

"holy shit, you can't be serious Gareth"

"listen i love horror but i hate clowns"

"then why did you choose to watch this?"it didn't make sense, if he didn't like clowns, why would he pick this to go and watch? He could have picked something else.

"it was a bet"

"what?" i said confused.

"i made a bet with the boys, if i lost i had to come and see this, of course i lost so here we are"

i didn't say anything, i just pulled him closer to me "it's okay Gare bear, i'll protect you from the scary little clowns"

Okay this is a slightly creepy part, the clown using the dead officer as a puppet.

Gareth had closed his eye for that cause this part is definety really scary. The officers blood used as puppet makeup on his face.

Lets hope and pray Gareth gets a good nights rest instead of constantly waking up from nightmares about this movie.

"you know, we can always leave" i offered "we don't have to finish it"

he shook his head no "no i'm good, promise."

"what are you gonna do with those pies boys?"

They threw those pies at him, that's what they did.

But it wasn't just any pies, they were acid pies. The poor guy melted from the acid. The cute little green haired clown placing a cherry on top.

"why is there so many of them!" Gareth said, eye wide open, mouth slightly parted, the tow of us staring at the screen, an army of clowns showing up.

Suddenly all the clowns stopped and looked up

"what's happening..." Gareth said ,uneasy on what's unfolding on the screen.

A big fucking clown appeared that's what happened, a big boy.

yup. Tonight is gonna be a long night with Gareth, i'm prepared to not get much sleep tonight.

Finally the movie had ended, the credits coming on, the theme song had a nice bop to it.

"i don't think you should set bets with the boys anymore" i said with a small giggle.

"yeah i hear ya, the theme song is a freaking hit though" he said, it indeed was.

5. how would you describe your art style? I don't think of myself as having an art style exactly, I try to draw with a variety of styles and not limit myself to a specific style. But I'd say with my art in general I focus on substance over style, I want the characters to feel like they are in a 3-dimensional plane even if they don't look as appealing. Expressiveness is my second priority when drawing, I want the expression to be very clear. Backgrounds are a low priority and rarely add much to a scene, I'm not very creative in that respect. My current enemy is making my hands consistent and also fighting against those dang splatoon eyebrows which are just circles...if I ever draw characters with REAL eyebrows you will see my true emotion-conveying capabilities... 9. whats something you always come back to when drawing? If this is about tropes...mind control. I dunno if its obvious from my 'marie' fuzzy callie sanitized callie cyborg callie snowglobe callie Lilac ordered callie (and even mha aus I haven't touched in a year - bakusquad rooftop trio swap au nomu Mina au) I. Kinda like altered mental states. They are so fun to have a character act in a way they don't usually act, and the mechanics of the mind control is so fascinating, as well as how this characters loved ones will interact. The idea of someone being forcefully changed but another loves them so much that it breaks through is such a comfort trope for me, ever since I was a lil kid, I feel like it might be something I never get tired of. 16. how do you motivate yourself to draw? Well, I draw every day so it just becomes a part of my routine! On days where I don't feel like being creative I practice and on days I don't want to practice I be creative. Having a project to work on also helps since it gives some consistent things to do (Fuzzy Callie is such a thing for me), although I think I need to give myself a break more often when it comes to that...when I draw I usually put on a video essay or join a voice chat to hang out with buddies which helps keep me focused! And my own personal motivation is the desire to create stories I want to experience for myself. Often I find myself going back to my old fics and artwork with a smile because it taps into my favorite tropes and such. I also love getting responses from other people!

finally got around to this. it was really hard for me to come up with these?? i never really stretched myself out into so many different fandoms. and most of the ips i like are non-humans/humanoid lol

1. Star Wars - Kylo Ren: i've related to him since I first laid eyes on him in tfa. the trans symbolism, the hating your dad bit, I was like dang he's me fr. he's as close as i've got to a comfort character.

2. Star Trek - Captain Jean-Luc Picard: (yeah i'm a trekkie lol) i totally had a crush on this guy growing up. he isn't even my type, but the overflowing confidence was new for me in a character.

3. Interstellar - Cooper: idk how but my brain managed to over-empathize with what this poor man had to go through. to this day, if i think about/watch the movie there will probably be tears.

4. The OA - Buck Vu: trans king!!!! loved seeing myself in a series. seeing him deal with legitimate trans tm issues but get to escape into a fantastical sci-fi feverdream was so good. also his actor is so cool and went on to play a character in Star Trek too haha

5. The Orville - Commander Bortis: seeing the story of a parent going through the process of non-acceptance to complete acceptance of their child was so powerful. the fact that opening his mind for his child's best interests ended up making him like the very group he used to hate was so satisfying. especially in the sick little "fuck u for having backwards thoughts, but now u found out u actually were repressing feelings for them all along" way.

Uglies - Tally Youngblood: kind of a watching your hero become the villain character. this series was my favorite ya book series growing up. i saw myself in her and continued to even after everything that happened. which honestly just goes to show how authentic of a character she was written to be.

9. Game of Thrones - Daenerys Targaryen: what a girlboss. i'm a huge dragon nut so of course if a character's symbol is dragons, i'm instantly drawn to them. i support her and her manslaying agenda. (until the last season)

10. The Walking Dead - Hershel Greene: i fell hook line and sinker for this guy's rough on the outside, soft on the inside characterization. he's such a random character for me to have ended up enjoying so much, but to this day he's my fave of the series.

23: What do they do after the absolute crisis? Its a really hard choice for him because of how much he loves Karlach, but seeing Astarion run off smoking nearly broke his heart. He chased after him, sending Wyll in his stead. He and Astarion are currently adventuring through the underdark to find a cure for Astarion’s sun sensitivity. 

24: Does your character believe in the afterlife? Not really.

27: What was their life like before the events of BG3? Pretty interesting. Averyll was still close with his parents, but had left the nest as it were. He was in the process of finding himself as he journeyed from country to city singing his stories.

28: Is your character the de facto leader of the party? Or do they consider someone else to be the leader? He’s the leader and he’s pretty bewildered as to -why-. He’s the youngest and the least experienced and everyone relies on his decisions. It's a little overwhelming but he’s doing his best.

30: What's your favorite thing about your Tav? He’s a good kid. He has his flaws, of course, but has a big heart. He wants to do right by the people he cares about and try to leave the world better than he found it. If he can make someone laugh or smile with his songs or quips it makes his day. I also love how he seems incredibly innocent and is VERY much not.

Welcome To The World, Zade!

On March 27, 2022, Carlin (Bates) + Evan Stewart welcomed their 2nd Child + 1st Son, Zade Patrick Stewart, into the world.  He was born at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.  He was 6 Pounds, 12 Ounces (3.1 Kilograms) and 20 Inches (51 Centimeters).

Carlin + Evan announced the birth via Instagram on March 27th, the day Zade was born.  They announced his name the following day.  They later released a Birth Video on YouTube.  [ Permalinks—Birth Announcement, Name Reveal ]

Pregnancy Announcement Timing

Carlin + Evan announced Pregnancy #2 via E! News on August 30, 2021.  With her Due Date of April 9, 2022, Carlin was just 58 Days Along (8 Weeks, 1 Day), when they announced.

Carlin has has 1 Prior [Known] Pregnancy.  With Pregnancy #1, she announced much, much later, at 113 Days Along (16 Weeks, 1 Day).  Taking the average, it is now typical for Carlin + Evan to announce at 86 Days Along (or 12 Weeks, 2 Days).   

Sex / Name Reveal Timing

The Stewart–Bateses did a Sex Reveal for Baby #2 via YouTube on November 21, 2021.  Carlin’s Due Date, again, was April 9, 2022.  So, she was 141 Days Along (20 Weeks, 1 Day), on the day of the Sex Reveal.

With Layla (#1), Carlin + Evan did a Sex Reveal at 144 Days Along.  (Which is pretty dang close to 141 Days Along!)  Taking an average, it is now typical for Carlin + Evan to do a Sex Reveal at 142.5 143 Days Along (~20.5 Weeks).     

Delivery vs. Due Date

Zade was due on April 9, 2022, but arrived 13 Days Early, on March 27, 2022.

Like many of her sisters, Carlin delivers early for medical reasons.  With Layla, she delivered 18 Days Early.  (Carlin was due on February 18, 2020, and Layla was born on January 31.)  (Fun Fact—So far, Carlin’s Due Date has failed even to predict what month she’ll give birth.)  Averaging the two, it’s now typical for Bates–Stewarts to be born 15.5 16 Days Early (at 37 Weeks, 5 Days Along).

Effect on the Bates 2nd Child Multiplier

Carlin + Evan had an incredibly fast Marriage–to–Firstborn Spacing (251 Days).  Their Layla–to–Zade Spacing is quite a bit longer, at 786 Days.  (Layla’s DOB is January 31, 2020, and Zade’s is 786 Days Later on March 27, 2022.)  When we compare them, their 2nd Spacing is 3.1315x longer than their 1st Spacing.

This is a record–setting 2nd Child Multiplier; it’s longer than any Bates Couple, and actually any Predictor Couple.  Across all Predictor People, Carlin + Evan are, so far, the only couple with a 2nd Child Multiplier >3x.  Overall, 1.3745x is typical.  (That’s for all Predictor Couples.)  Among Bateses, excluding Carlin + Evan, 1.6299x is typical.  When we factor Carlin + Evan’s data in, that shifts to 1.7754x (+9%).  As a result, the Predictor slow down its 2nd Child forecasts a bit.  (Hey, it’s something!)  

Effect on Procreative Pace / ESOQ

Now that Carlin + Evan have a non–Firstborn, they’ve got non–Firstborn Data.  You know what that means!  That’s the data that determines their Procreative Pace (PP), going forward.

So far, obviously, they only have one datapoint, their Layla–to–Zade Spacing.  With nothing to average together, their Layla–to–Zade Spacing (786 Days, or 25.8 Months) becomes their Procreative Pace (PP), for the time being.  

At this new pace, Carlin + Evan’s ESOQ is 12 Children.  That’s down from the wacko estimate of 22 Children that the Predictor got immediately after Layla’s birth.  (Their really short Firstborn Spacing is to blame for those crazy results!)

what do you use for journaling?

answering this from my phone which means it's probably gonna fuck up especially as i am now realising how much i want to say. as always

what i USE rn is an app called iA Writer, but technically i don't really use it/its features for journaling so much as just a .txt file organiser. the actual files are synced in a google drive folder, so i could also just open them in any notes app and start writing, but ia writer lets me see all my files at a glance (i make a new .txt file for each month, start each new entry with a big "NEW ENTRY MONDAY 9 JANUARY") and looks nice enough and recognises markdown syntax for basic formatting. i think it's a paid app but i really don't remember.

i used to use Day One (of deeply weird recent tumblr ad fame) when i was 17 or so, which helped me get started because it 1) had daily prompts and 2) had a header image input which made me feel better about just taking one photo each day and counting that as an "entry" without sitting down to write. that was also the big shift i needed to actually become a regular journaler (journalist? diarist.): i was always given cute notebooks as a kid, and even now you can open up tens of them that just have "IM SO TIIIIIIIRED" over the first page followed by reams of blanks. meanwhile i learnt to type 100wpm on msn messenger when i was 11 or whatever, but it somehow didn't click until glossy apps started dropping that i could just type journal entries and even though it wasn't the pen to paper aesthetic fantasy people usually think of, it does what i need it to (and better than paper). all journaling really is (for my purposes! there's a lot of reasons to journal, i guess) is a form of externalising thought processes and emotion to cut down on rumination, pause before impulsive actions, improve my memory and get to know myself better, so the closer i can make that activity frictionless the better — and i already spend all dang day typing anyway, so it's easy.

on that note, i also have a solo discord server i use to keep links and notes to myself, and i've got a channel in there for journaling, because ia writer on my phone WORKS but sometimes the sync overlaps and glitches, and it's just faster to dump quick thoughts into discord, especially if i'm literally just panicking at a party and want to write down something someone said to me so i can remember later.

there is an opposite mode of thinking, which is that journaling/externalising should be very distinct, and separate, and analogue, and physical, etc, to the extent that the frictive challenges of handwriting and paper and sitting at a desk rather than texting at a party etc is the point and helps with recall and the whole process of it all, but, god. i just can't do that at all. i go walking in nature each morning to ground myself in all that and i tumble out every thought and stressor and hypothetical i can wring dry from my mind into a .txt file for 5 minutes (that can turn into an hour) before i sleep each night so that i CAN sleep. but if i forget or im too busy i don't beat myself up about missing it. i stopped journaling for like 3 years then just started up again one day. i skip months sometimes. sometimes my entries are still just "TIRED". but it being a folder of text files helps me know i can start again whenever, and that if i ever want to go check something i can do it easily.

Lee Da Eul: I have nothing concrete for him, there are some possible paths for him but now it seems he is contemplating continuing or not in the entertainment industry. 10* games to know me! (*it was hard to fit ten games onto here so here's kind of a good analysis of it)

1. Wandersong

Ahh, this was the first game I think where I was involved with a fandom and for good reason because Wandersong is so dang good after hearing some stuff about it on the internet years ago! Chicory: A Colorful Tale also is related since the man who made WS also made this too.

2. Dicey Dungeons

Dicey Dungeons is becoming one of my new favorite games because of the easy to learn game style, cool art style, and great soundtrack as well! Also, because of working with mods with art for enemy and player sprites, this game kind of is responsible for getting me back into making art.

3. Guitar Hero/Rock Band

These two game series was kind of my first experience with rhythm gaming and also it actually got me into drumming in real life! I still play these games nowadays to some degree thanks to Clone Hero (fan game which plays like these two series).

4. Racing games in general

I grew up playing a lot of arcade racing games and still play some to this day, so basically this could be considered one of my favorite genres. Games I love from this genre are Hydro Thunder, the Rush series, the Ridge Racer games, Mario Kart DS and 8 Deluxe, Midnight Club II and 3 REMIX, the early Gran Turismo games, the Burnout series and the list could go on, but it could go on forever.

5. Skateboarding games in general

Skateboarding games are super fun! I play the early Tony Hawk’s games because of the addicting gameplay and the Skate series because tricks are super good when you get used to the control setup and the Skate games are the types of game where you can relax, get on, and ride around in the city and do tricks whenever you feel like doing so.

6. Dance Dance Revolution

Another rhythm game series that I do enjoy a lot since this was another first experience of rhythm gaming for me! There was a period in my life that played the heck out of this and got very good, but nowadays I would probably never reach the same skill level as back in the day, heh heh 😅 The beatmania and pop'n music series also are related since they also fall under the same umbrella of rhythm games that Konami makes (under the BEMANI brand) and has somewhat shaped my music tastes nowadays (plus I kind of do like pop’n music’s art style).

7. Pikuniku

Ahh, this game is so good! I love this game’s quirky style and the soundtrack matches the games tone as well, it’s one of my favorites! The only thing that is my least favorite part was that it’s so short to beat the game though, man this game honestly needs a sequel

8. Rhythm Heaven (series in general)

Ooooh, the Rhythm Heaven games are so great with the gameplay, the soundtrack, and the art style too! I personally prefer the DS installment and Fever.

9. Neopets

Oh yeah; I’ve been playing Neopets since 2008 and am still am to this day to some degree! My first account sadly got frozen but I am still going strong on my second account :)

10. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004

I put this one on here because TW2004 also feels like somewhat of a “relax and just play” game as well, although it’s better if you beat the main campaign beating all the golfers first (which is tough but doable!). I would also put TW2003 and TW2005 too because I grew up with those ones but I heard 2004 is the better version with more courses and such and it shows.

I definitely like to set the tone of the piece in the first few sentences. Setting, plot, and characters come later, because to me, it's important that I establish right away what kind of piece this is: whimsical, dramatic, moody, etc. Honestly, I wish this was the first few opening lines because I think my first lines have far more impact with the sentences that follow, but that's not what this game is about, alas.

On their own, I don't particularly like any of these more than the others, but I do like how "Ours is a Song with Drums" and "We're a Couple of Freaks" also establish the mood as well.

If you want to do this, give it a try, even if it's just taking a look back at your works and thinking about it.
