Au idea.

Meliodas never left the demons clan, instand the DK split Meliodas in half, the same way he did with the Primordial Demon (aka Chandler and Cusack) but with some modifications.

Like, instand of just body and soul being split (i could be wrong, i don't remember much).

Meliodas' Body has all the battle skills, power and memories from Og! Meliodas, he's just as rusthless as Tc!Meliodas and he don't have any emotions, so yeah he's gonna beat anyone who gets in his way.

The perfect weapon for the DK.

And then there's Meliodas' Soul that has basically nothing so far, no memories, no power (that he know of), y'know. The only things he has is this feeling (Bond) that makes him think of Zel, and his emotions (empathy included). The guy is a open book and cannot lie to safe his life.

Okay so obviously those two wouldn't be together, Meliodas' Body was kepted as DK's puppet and Meliodas' Soul was kepted in a "laboratory" of sorts, unconcious, so that one of the Dk's lackeys could make experiments on him, so that he could be useful too.

Zeldris don't know of any of this, he got married to Gelda and together they frustrated any plan Gelda's father had of making a rebellion.

And Elizabeth took his mother's place as the Goddnesses' Ruler, she's not happy about It, but it's her duty.

Haven't decided if they should have met before meliodas being split and if their relationship should be the reason behind meliodas being split or if i should make up another reason.

So anyway, Zeldris discover that his bother was split in two, and he together with Meliodas' Amnesiac Soul have to find a way to fuse Both Mels together, while they try to not get killed and/or captured mainly by the DK.

And just to make things fun, for me, they can't "kill" Meliodas' Soul, cause if the Soul is destroyed the body becomes useless.

Aparence wise Mel's Body look the same as the Manga, maybe with some scars and more Black Marks in his body, and Black eyes even if his demon mark is not activeted (it's always on), and Mel's Soul is more lean maybe a little pale, with a heck of a long hair, like his hair reach his feet and his eyes are the usual emerald green.

i feel like this has fucked me up so bad like my heart and my mind feel so fragile and vulnerable i don't know if i can ever love like this again

hey. i love you. and you will love again. i don't know if it'll help to hear this but i've felt the exact same way as you before. i swore it off. i thought i would never ever be able to trust again. i learned that all we do is hurt and i thought it would hurt forever. i thought i would spend my entire life looking over my shoulder waiting for the people i love to hurt me. i swore to never care about someone again. and then i cared about someone again. and then someone else. someone else after that. and then more and more people found their ways into my life and i love them and maybe it's still hard to trust but they make me happy and that's worth something. and at the end of the day i count myself lucky that i have lived a life full of so much love that it hurts so much when people leave. but at the same time that's just how it goes. people come and go. we love and we lose. and it'll get easier with time.

i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.
