I did it! 1.5 more pages and then Jonah will be finished. That'll be the end of part one for the Veggietales character drawing challenge.
And I still gotta draw the angels. Oh boy.

Appendix
Some of the influences of Monty Python on VeggieTales:
Archibald Asparagus was based on John Cleese's stop being silly character.
The French Peas were based on the French Knights from Holy Grail.
Fish slapping in the Jonah Movie was based on the fish slapping sketch.
The "curtains?" punchline in Tales from the Crisper and Holy Grail are the same.

I talked about every episode of the original VeggieTales series, if that's something you'd be interested in.

Okay but this is 100% accurate.
VeggieTales music always slaps. Did I say that right, Cassie?
But yeah, I love VeggieTales music. It's always so awesome.

My Dream from Last Night (2/2/2023)
In one portion of my dream, I was in some building that had a gym and a basement. As far as I knew, there was some monster that was rampaging throughout, I wanna say it was Jimmy Neutron when he turned into a hulking monster. I warned someone about it and tried to look for a place to hide. Luckily I found a door to the basement. The basement itself resembled what my grandparents’ looked like.
In another portion of my dream, I was in a hallway that resembled Metro City from “Megamind” at night. I saw Roxanne Ritchi in distress from Tighten, who landed with her on top of something (though it wasn’t a needle-like building as in the movie itself). After Tighten flies off dejected, I noticed Roxanne, asked if she was okay, and helped her down. As we introduced each other, I offered her a soft drink, and with her hand on mind as she reached for the cup, we were stunned and felt a bit of love. (I’m not in love with Roxanne Ritchi in real life, this only happened in my dream.)
Then I was in a theater room where it almost looked like they were going to do a school production of “Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie”, but without anyone dressed as vegtables. However, as I walked down the stairs to get on the stage, “Them Not-So-Dry Bones” from “Schoolhouse Rock” was playing in the background and I started singing it as I kept walking. Surprisingly, Jack Sheldon (who originally sang the song) was there to sing some of the portions he sang. Later as I was lying on the floor though, some dog lying next to me blew air into my right ear, and I was having a hard time trying to get the air out as I left the theater room. (In reality, Jack Sheldon died by the end of 2019, but because this was a dream, he was still alive somehow.)

My next drawing will be here very soon -- within the week, at the very least -- so just sit tight and have yourself a dank Bible meme!
