What would be Nightcloud’s name if she was leader? Since we have Nightstar, and we have Cloudstar,

StarClan would think of a good one for her, if she didn't have one in mind.

I feel like she'd want to call herself Sowstar. Hogs are the largest, strongest, most DANGEROUS animal in the 5 Clans. A boar might be dangerous on his own, but a sow fights with TWICE the strength to protect her little humbugs.

And I think that's the sort of name she would want to wear. She's proud of her strength, and is now finally realizing she can be proud of her commitment too. And even a sow, just for defending its babies, they can be hated and maligned by Clan cats.

She'd feel a connection to sows that would be a great honor to bear in a name.

I want to be allowed to be cringe. I want to say things that might not be hurtful but definitely make me go "What was I thinking?" when I look back on them. I want to acknowledge that I have a lot to learn in this world, and I will be clumsy while learning it, but I don't have to apologize for my clumsiness. Heartstopper Season 2 Spoilers

Heartstopper season 2 was perfect, and Alice Oseman is a cinematic and literature genius but I would like to take a few moments to draw some attention to.....

I can't get over Isaacs arch in heartstopper, especially in season 2.

Ace representation is so few and far between as it is, and good representation is even more scarce, but having that sort of representation at the forefront of a show? And having it accurately depicted, and not infantilized? Showing the complexities of it? Basically unheard of. But Holy Fuck did Alice Oseman deliver.

At the end of season 2 he is just finding out what aro/asexuality is and reading up on it. He knows it exists and he knows that it applies to him. And he faced some of the difficulties of being aro/ace with James and with the isolation and feeling like he's not interesting unless he has a romantic interest, these are all very real and not commonly talked about things that people have experienced.

And oh my god was it euphoric to see on screen.

Growing up and watching all your friends have crushes and get into relationships and fawn over people and never experiencing that same thing is so isolating. Even in accepting environments and in good friend groups (as seen on the show) it always feels like your an odd one out, and outsider, etc.

So the scene where Isaac goes "I think their might be something wrong with me.", that hits home to so many people who grew up not understanding why they were different.

I've talked about on here before why labels are so important to people, and this is a perfect example of it. You can learn to accept yourself and love yourself and be completely self confident but if there's something fundamentally different about you, there's always going to be a voice in the back of your head reminding you of that. Learning a label, or a word, that represents something that you might have already accepted as something that's a character flaw, there's no word to describe it, it's so relieving. It means there are people like you who have lived to create that label, it means your not alone with it, it means you have a community.

And having this shown on tv, especially at a time like now where people are trying to cover up anything that reminds people that LGBT people exist, is going to tell so many kids that there is nothing wrong with them, and they're not defected, and they're not broken.

And Isaacs whole arch (even thought it's not completed) handled this perfectly. Because there were moments that shows that Isaac is in some ways separate from the group. They love him, but he's different, they care about him, but he doesn't have a romantic interest, so his presence isn't as acknowledged.

And I think that in Season 3 (assuming theres going to be a season 3) we're going to get to see this expanded on. We might get to see Isaac coming out to the rest of the group, and learning how to cope with not having access to something that a lot of people say is what makes people human.

Heartstopper is such an amazing show and Alice Oseman is incredible. The cast is incredible. Everything about everything about that production is incredible.

🗺 : first map you ever watched? - i didn't actively watch maps as a small kid, or at least i don't think i did? the first map that i entirely remember watching was during my second major warriors phase by the time i was closer to... 15 maybe?? as opposed to my earliest memories of wc which are from when i was 10 or younger lol. little fang, which is making me genuinely super misty eyed to rewatch, it's just so so good, from the style to the designs to how well it gets into jayfeather and his family with only animation and music, the composition of every part is so good, the designs, all of it. the sole reason little fang is one of my favorite songs to this day it might, miiight, have also been evelyn evelyn? that one was certainly one of the first maps i ever watched that stuck with me. the dovewing kinnie has entered chat

🖼 : first amv/pmv you ever watched? - i cannot remember. i watched sooo many amvs as a kid. not my FIRST amv, probably, but one of the earliest i recall is ashfur's revenge, which is delighting me so much to rewatch. this one was formative for me, i miss the style of flash-animated warriors amvs that (obviously:() aren't around anymore. i also have such a soft spot for tigerclaw is not one of thunderclan, one i was thinking about the Entire Time i was writing the exile scene in spottedfur's pride lol. i still love it so much, this is my first time rewatching it in like... a decade, im sure. its so good. im kind of blown away as i rewatch these that they ARE as good as they are, cuz i feel like it's common in the warriors fandom to treat old amvs as some cringeworthy lost art (in general i have strong opinions on how (unintentionally)cruel the internet starts being to things as soon as they enter "nostalgia" territory) - but there's still, like, genuine talent in these. there's a reason these amvs were as popular as they were, and not because we were all cringe 10 year olds who didn't know better, lol. also reminds me of tigerstar and the dog pack(be prepared) - which is one i have the most vivid memory of watching on my family computer, hehe. in general i love corvus katana's stuff, past and current oh my god i will never get this ask posted because i keep remembering ones that helped, like, form a lobe of my brain growing up. I apologize for posting so many stupid WIPs and waxing poetic about the process of art etc but like... I got myself fucking dying over here...

Some of my KH followers will remember when I use to stream my Ask Xigbar posts, and I'd get my friends MAD because I'd go from like stick figures with tiny eyes, to a finished flawless final lineart. No sketch between.

Meanwhile these days I still do that for some things like Asks, but for stuff like this I'm LOSING MY MIND... I have the left image open for reference where LOKI'S STUPID COAT HANGS ON HIS BODY, the right one for the VIBE I'm trying to maintain as I redraw this, the one next to that for the initial sketch/line process, and the one with the braids and shit is ME CHECKING MY ANATOMY AND MEASUREMENTS VIA SEVEN DIFFERENT LAYERS...

When I go to final sketch/ink this all that is gonna be like...SUGGESTIONS nmfgjkh GOD.

I'm enjoying digital sketching for the first time in like a year or two, okay? Let me feel stupid and amused I guess.
