Happy #NationalAlaskaDay in honor of today, here are some photos from my last 2 trips combined when we went last Summer in June of 21’ and Winter in February of 22’⁣ Got to go paddle boarding on a lake and see lots of wild life. My year-long adventure kicks off with a visit to the Bush Pilot’s Monument in Yellowknife. A really cool thing about the Bush Pilot’s Monument is that it’s not only a commemorative monument to the bush pilots who brought supplies to the North braving terrible weather, but the site also contains a functional signal tower that tells the modern-day pilots whether it’s safe to land in the nearby water aerodrome.

Also, it was 11:30 PM and the sun was still above the horizons!
